Street fights are one of the more addictive YouTube rabbit holes to go down. With gladiators considered too barbaric these days and MMA more of a skill sport, people need to indulge their bloody instincts one way or another. Don’t hate, participate.

Normally, what makes a good street fight video is, you know, good fighting. People like to see crazy knockouts and whatnot. But sometimes, something special happens and it’s not the actual fisticuffs that grab our attention.

Behold the “Best Street Fight Of 2017” video, in our professional opinion.

Is this the best street fight of 2017? No, not even close. In fact, the fighting was pretty mediocre, all things considered. What makes this video so great is the cameraman’s hilarious, LOL-inducing commentary.

This guy was just on his couch, minding his own business, when all of a sudden a fight broke out across the street. Naturally, this dude responded in the only mature and adult way that is acceptable: grabbing his cell phone and running outside to film it. While shooting one fight, another fight broke out (a cameraman’s worst nightmare). Watching him run back and forth between the two tussles is just pure comedic gold.

“I’m tryin’ to be a good cameraman!” he yells during the commotion. “Fight for your yard, fight for your yard,” he tells the four brawlers as they begin to tire. This guy isn’t so much filming the scuffle as he is egging it on. “That’s your brother, get in there,” he whispers to a fighter on a time out as they watch the other two continue to duke it out.

The Miami-Dade College Hialeah Campus has been evacuated due to a bomb threat. The evacuated campus is located at 1780 W. 49th St. in Hialeah, Florida.

Miami-Dade College Police said that the school received the threat around 1:00 P.M., saying there was a bomb on campus and that a shooting would take place afterward.

This is the second bomb threat at Miami-Dade College this year. In January, Miami-Dade College’s North Campus was evacuated due to a bomb threat. The university had to evacuate buildings 1, 2, 4, and a pre-school lab as a precaution.

Meg DeMarco and Darris Saylors are being accused of committing one of the most dastardly crimes that I’ve ever heard. Here are all of the details behind their sordid scheme.

What Happened

While working as administrators at Harvard Law School, DeMarco and Saylors were stealing money hand over foot out of an account that was supposed to be used for students with disabilities. From CBS Boston, here’s what authorities believe DeMarco and Saylors were up to.

In a criminal complaint the I-Team obtained, Harvard University police allege Meg DeMarco, 33, and Darris Saylors, 32, used the funds to purchase laptops, iPads, DVDs, jewelry, and even a few X-rated items. In all, the police investigation said the women stole about $110,000.

According to the court documents, things started to unravel in November 2013 when a new budget manager at the law school noticed some discrepancies.

Both DeMarco and Saylors resigned from their positions at the Dean of Students office while a lengthy police investigation ensued.

The probe revealed purchases of dozens of laptops, iPads, iPods and other electronics. Court documents say a subpoena to Apple traced the items to DeMarco’s home in Chelsea and Saylors’ apartment in Cambridge. Police also discovered items at the homes of Saylors’ friends and family in California, Washington and Tennessee.

Campus Reaction

Unsurprisingly, students on Harvard Law’s campus are not too happy with DeMarco and Saylors. Via CBS Boston:

Kristina Vu is a second-year law student who is blind and uses a guide dog to navigate campus. She was shocked when she heard the allegations.

“It’s horrifying,” she told the I-Team. “Knowing that someone is out there taking away those crucial resources from the vulnerable student population that needs it to succeed is honestly very appalling to me.”

The Aftermath

Saylors and DeMarco will be arraigned in Cambridge District Court on Wednesday, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that they deserve to be punished to the full extent of the law. Stealing money from people with disabilities to buy sex toys is as low as it gets. It’s like the goddamn Grinch taking the last can of Who-hash.

These students were counting on DeMarco and Saylors to look out for them, and they were out splurging on fancy contraptions to diddle themselves with. I hope they lock up DeMarco and Saylors and throw away the key. They’ll have to make their own sex toys in the joint, using a rock hammer like Andy Dufresne making a chess set.

Executive Order Details

Trump previously announced his intentions to improve the lives of African-Americans, a demographic that overwhelmingly supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. This order will reposition the federal government’s promotion program for historically black colleges and universities, known as HBCUs, back under direct government oversight.

Since the 1980s, presidents from both parties have signed executive orders supporting the HBCUs in some capacity.

How It Will Help

The federal program will now be housed under the Education Department and will be considered a “priority again” by making partnerships with the government agency easier, a White House official said. The new structure will allow them “to serve as a strategic partner to the president’s urban agenda of creating jobs and making inner cities safe again.”

Vice President Mike Pence emphasized how important this was for the White House during a listening session with 64 of the roughly 100 representatives.

“You deserve far more credit than you get, and know that beginning today, this administration is committed to making sure that our historically black colleges and universities get the credit and the attention they deserve,” he said.

The No. 17 Duke Blue Devils (27-7, 10-6 ACC) will host the No. 15 Florida State Seminoles (23-6, 11-5 ACC) tonight at 7:00 P.M. EST on ESPN. The unaired interview Austin Harrouff gave Dr. Phil is now public after Martin County prosecutors released copies on Tuesday, February 28.

The interview, which was made accessible by a judge, was held two days before Harrouff was released from the hospital back in October. Harrouff spent more than a month in the hospital after ingesting toxic chemicals in the couple’s garage during the attack. It was recorded via Skype and was scheduled to air on Dr. Phil October 28 but was pulled without explanation from the producers.

The 20-year-old is accused of killing John Stevens and Michelle Mischon on August 14, 2016. Harrouff was found by police naked and chewing on Stevens’ face. The first officer who arrived on the scene tried to stop Harrouff with a Taser but it was ineffective. More deputies and a K-9 unit were called and were able to subdue him.

According to authorities, Harrouff left a family dinner at Duffy’s restaurant in Jupiter, Florida on the night of August 14 and then walked to the nearby neighborhood of Michelle and John Stevens and attacked them in their garage.

Furthermore, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said deputies found a naked Harrouff on top of Stevens, biting pieces of the victim’s face with his teeth. The Stevens’ neighbor Jeffrey Fisher was also attacked while trying to help them. The 47-year-old was released from the hospital days after the attack.

Dr. Phil is facing some criticism for the interview, as it seems as though he is playing into Harrouff’s attorney Nellie King’s plan for an insanity defense. King issued a statement saying the interview is “just one of many pieces of evidence demonstrating the deterioration of Austin’s mental health.”

Student-athletes at the University of Central Florida officially cannot complain about their school ever again.

A few years back, UCF announced that they’d be constructing cabanas and a party deck at their football stadium offering “frozen daiquiris, frozen margaritas and every other manner of frozen cocktail your heart desires.” Awesome. But that was just a throat-clearing move, a pre-game for the real surprise.

UCF just announced that it will build a new $25 million “Athletics Village” for student-athletes, a complex that will come complete with a lazy river for college students to float in when they’re not at a game or practice. It will be directly adjacent to Bright House Networks Stadium.

Admittedly, this is awesome and we’re all super jealous that we aren’t star athletes at UCF right now. But it’s also a shameless attempt to pump up recruiting numbers and upgrade facilities/amenities to be included into the Big 12.

A lazy river doesn’t quite make up for student-athletes not receiving formal compensation, but it is a start. Do you know how many beers you can chug while listlessly floating down a warm river? A lot. But is it better than Clemson’s putt-putt and indoor slide? We’ll let the readers hash that one out in the comments section.

Lyon, a professional soccer team in France’s top flight, is taking a 15-year-old boy to court after he ran on the field to take a selfie with the players.

After the Lyon came back from a 2-1 deficit to defeat Dijon 4-2, the young fan, who has yet to be identified, ran onto the field to celebrate with the squad. Illegal? Sure. But something to sue a teenager over? Not exactly. Besides, the two players in the photo, Memphis Depay and Alexandre Lacazette, don’t seem to mind in the slightest.

Lyon have chosen to take the youngster to court, BT Sport’s European Football Show revealed. French journalist Julien Laurens sarcastically told the show: “I think you need to kick out the hooligans from stadiums.”

He added: “This young boy is 15. He wanted to celebrate with his heroes Memphis Depay and Alexandre Lacazette after they scored their fourth goal against Dijon last week.

“So he ran on the pitch, took a selfie with Lacazette and now Lyon are taking him to court, suing him!

“He said ‘I was so happy, I didn’t really think’ and now he has to meet the club in court.”

While it is currently unclear what the boy is being charged with at this time, a club spokesman club spokesman told AFP that they “have made a complaint on principle to dissuade [people] and protect everyone’s security.”

Lyon’s 4-2 victory was Memphis Depay’s first game since joining from Manchester United in January, adding a little extra excitement to the game.

Lyon is currently in fourth place in Ligue 1, 16 points behind first place AS Monaco and 13 points behind PSG and Nice.

According to the Financial Times, there is an auction for the “global rights to two books by Barack and Michelle Obama” that has reportedly “reached more than $60 million…The Obamas are writing separate books but selling the rights jointly.”

To put that astronomical $30 million per person figure in perspective, George W. Bush earned “just” $10 million for Decision Points. The Obamas are caking!

Who’s getting in on this bidding war? It sounds like well-known publishers such as HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster and Penguin Random House have all thrown their hats into the ring. Quick FYI: Penguin Random House published Big O’s other books and HarperCollins is owned by vocal Republican Rupert Murdoch, so you can guess which publisher has the edge.

Catastrophe Series 3 Premiere Preview

Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim is one of the most impressive college coaches of all time. With a 900-353 (.718) record and one NCAA Championship to his name, Boeheim has cemented his Hall of Fame legacy as one of the GOATs. You’d think with a track record like that, you could get any recruit you wanted. Well, it turns out that Jimmy Boeheim, the legendary coach’s son, either wasn’t impressed with his old man’s history or just wasn’t good enough to play for Syracuse despite the massive sway his dad holds.

The younger Boeheim announced Tuesday night that he will be playing basketball at Cornell University next season. He is currently attending New Hampton (N.H.) Prep following his graduation from Jamesville-DeWitt High School.

Last year, Boeheim dropped 23.3 points per game as a senior at Jamesville-DeWitt. He’s a 6-foot-7 lefty with a nice shooting stroke. The Red Rams sported a 15-8 record last season and Cornell is currently 7-20 under first-year head coach Brian Earl.

I’ll admit that I’ve been pretty down on Ridley Scott’s upcoming Alien prequel, Alien: Covenant. Not only was I not overly impressed with Prometheus, but I also didn’t like the idea of Scott pulling a James Cameron and only playing in one sand box for the rest of his life.

But then this new trailer dropped and, well, now I’m afraid a Xenomorph will burst out of my chest and give me an acid bath if I continue criticizing. Seriously, please check out this tense, horrifying, well done trailer.

Yes, there is a whole bunch of CGI in this trailer which does have me a bit concerned. The albino-alien (perhaps the Neomorph that has been rumored for some time) and the full-blown Xeno both look a little…off. But, that last shot of the alien going all space murder on Danny McBridge earns the benefit of the doubt.

Kevin Durant left last night’s Warriors-Wizards game after hyperextending his left knee and will undergo an MRI on Wednesday.

The injury happened when Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat went up for a defensive rebound and pushed Zaza Pachulia into Durant’s leg during the first quarter of Tuesday night’s game in Washington.

Durant was only in the game for 93 seconds until his injury, taking just one shot, ending his streak of 562 regular-season games in which he scored at least 10 points.

According to ESPN’s Ethan Strauss, a Warriors source told him that the team does not believe that Durant suffered a tear:

The only thing that could realistically prevent the Warriors from winning the championship in an injury to their stars, and hopefully this is it. Durant is averaging 25.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game during the 2016-17 season.

Millions of Christians around the world are preparing to celebrate Lent. What most don’t know about Lent, however, is that it isn’t all about denying yourself cookies and what not. In fact, Lent is all about spiritual preparation in the run-up to Easter.

Part of Lent is Ash Wednesday, held the day after Shrove Tuesday (which is also Mardi Gras). Ash Wednesday is seen as a day to cleanse one’s soul before Lent begins. Churchgoers typically use ash (or, you know, a marker) to put a cross on their foreheads as a symbol of repentance.

Five University of Richmond baseball players have been suspended for the start of the season after the NCAA ruled them ineligible due to their involvement in a fantasy football league.

One of the players, junior right-hander Keenan Bartlett, is considered to be the A-10’s third-best professional prospect and ranked in the top 100 juniors in the country last season. Similarly, senior infielder Kurtis Brown was a first-team all-A-10 selection hitting.342 with 17 doubles and 35 RBIs.

The University of Richmond announced the ban on February 17, the day of the Spiders’ first game. The suspended players will remain ineligible until the NCAA has decided on punishment and completes the reinstatement process.

Via Richmond Times-Dispatch report:

Richmond announced Feb. 17, the day of the Spiders’ season-opener, that NCAA secondary violations impacted the eligibility of five players, without identifying the infractions or the players. UR’s statement read, in part, “As a result of these violations, these five student-athletes will be ineligible for competition until the NCAA’s reinstatement process has been completed.”

The NCAA rule that the players ‘violated’:

“You are not eligible to compete if you knowingly participate in any sports wagering activity that involves intercollegiate, amateur or professional athletics, through a bookmaker, a parlay card or any other method employed by organized gambling. Examples of sports wagering include, but are not limited to, the use of a bookmaker or parlay card; Internet sports wagering; auctions in which bids are placed on teams, individuals or contests; and pools or fantasy leagues in which an entry fee is required.”

The NCAA considers fantasy sports with an entry fee to be a form of sports gambling and therefore they are off-limits to student-athletes.

Kristen Litchfield, assistant director of athletic public relations for the team, told The Collegian: “I (or anyone else) in the athletic department will not give the identity of the individuals involved. Nor will we disclose the specific violation.”

I’ll tell you what: America is the world’s leader in a lot of things, but daytime television is not one of them. We roll out Al Roker’s skinny-fat ass onscreen, but meanwhile, Mexico, Brazil, and Taiwan are showcasing women with ungodly proportions. Doesn’t seem fair if you ask me. America basically invented ‘sex sells,’ yet here we are getting stomped out by countries in a weight class lower than ours.

We now take you to Brazil, where Rayssa Teixeira Melo, who may have the biggest butt I’ve ever seen, is slapping the hell out of TV hosts who get a little too touchy-feely.

During a bizarre sunscreen demonstration, which essentially appeared to be sexual assault in and of itself, the television host was attempting to show how to properly apply sunblock. Now, I’ve never been to Brazil, but from what I understand, it’s quite sunny. So anyone learning how to apply sunscreen though a daytime television segment has much bigger problems than getting too much UV light.

Rayssa had to warn the host multiple times not to go near her bottom, but when he crossed the line one too many times, she had to take action.

And here’s the 13-minute long version of whatever the hell this thing was. Thanks to Rayssa, it certainly isn’t the worst way to spend a quarter of an hour.

Good for this chick for standing up for herself, but if she doesn’t want to get groped by some perv, she probably shouldn’t sign up for a segment where someone rubs lotion on her for 15 minutes.
