I knew it.

Earlier this year, when writing about Subway’s disgusting and frankly offensive pulled pork and Fritos sandwich, I said this:

Let’s talk about the perpetually stinky (literally) Subway and their ‘Pulled Pork and Fritos’ sandwich. First of all, riddle me this: How is that pork being cooked? As far as I know, Subway doesn’t have a smoker, crock-pot, or grill at its restaurant. Red flag, right off the bat.

Welp, turns out they don’t even have to worry about cooking their meat, ’cause it isn’t even meat in the first place!

A DNA analysis conducted by researcher Matt Harnden at Trent University’s Wildlife Forensic DNA Laboratory tested the poultry content of six popular chicken sandwiches, finding that the chicken used in Subway sandwiches contained only about half chicken DNA. The other sandwiches tested were McDonald’s country chicken, Wendy’s grilled chicken sandwich, A&W chicken grill deluxe, and Tim Hortons cChipotle chicken grilled wrap.

Additionally, two Subway sandwiches were tested: the oven roasted chicken sandwich and the sweet onion chicken teriyaki.

An unadulterated piece of chicken from the store should come in at 100 per cent chicken DNA.  Seasoning, marinating or processing meat would bring that number down, so fast food samples seasoned for taste wouldn’t be expected to hit that 100 per cent targe

In the first round of tests, the lab tested two samples of five of the meat products, and one sample of the Subway strips. From each of those samples, the researchers isolated three smaller samples and tested each of those. They were all DNA tested and the score was then averaged for each sandwich. Most of the scores were “very close” to 100 per cent chicken DNA, Harnden says.

Subway’s results were such an outlier that the team decided to test them again, biopsying five new oven roasted chicken pieces, and five new orders of chicken strips. Those results were averaged: the oven roasted chicken scored 53.6 per cent chicken DNA, and the chicken strips were found to have just 42.8 per cent chicken DNA. The majority of the remaining DNA? Soy.

Subway released a statement denying the results of the study:

“SUBWAY cannot confirm the veracity of the results of the lab testing you had conducted. However, we are concerned by the alleged findings you cite with respect to the proportion of soy content. Our chicken strips and oven roasted chicken contain 1% or less of soy protein. We use this ingredient in these products as a means to help stabilize the texture and moisture. All of our chicken items are made from 100% white meat chicken which is marinated, oven roasted and grilled. We tested our chicken products recently for nutritional and quality attributes and found it met our food quality standards. We will look into this again with our supplier to ensure that the chicken is meeting the high standard we set for all of our menu items and ingredients.”

Next, they need to test the pulled pork. I bet you that’s about 30% real pork.

I give it another decade until Subway files for Chapter 7. It’s a trash company pedaling poison to the entire world and it needs to be stopped. Oh, and they also employ pedophiles.

UConn officials and students are irrationally up in arms after it was discovered that someone spray-painted the phrase ‘Frat Lives Matter’ on the university’s spirit rock. The prank comes just a week after six Kappa Sigma brothers were arrested in relation to the October death of a 19-year-old student Jeffny Pally.

Students and staff from the university deemed the prank ‘insensitive’ and ‘too soon.’ The rock has since been repainted with a ‘message of unity.’

UConn’s staff has not said if any investigation will be launched or if any disciplinary action will be taken. Similarly, authorities are not sure who wrote “Frat Lives Matter” on the rock.

In October, Jeffny Pally died after being run over by a campus fire SUV. Police said Pally had an alcohol level more than three times the legal limit and had been sitting against the fire dept garage doors when they opened for the vehicle.

Authorities said Pally had been drinking at the off-campus Kappa Sigma house. Those six frat brothers now face several charges, including permitting a minor to illegally possess alcohol.

The UConn Interfraternity Council released a statement:

“The wildly inappropriate and insensitive messages of ‘frat lives matter’ painted on rocks throughout our campus this morning do not in any way reflect the values or beliefs of the UConn Interfraternity Council or any of our 12 recognized member fraternities.”

According to the UConn IFC, one Greek life member from every fraternity and sorority on campus helped repaint the rock.

The six fraternity members arrested in connection with the death of Jeffny Pally were Patrick Callahan, 21, Matthew Moll, 21, Dylan Morose, 22, Jonathan Polansky, 22, Dominic Godi, 21, and Austin Custodio, 21. They now face several charges, including permitting a minor to illegally possess alcohol.

If you don’t think that the original Guardians Of The Galaxy was by far Marvel Studio’s best film to date, you have a pea brain. Sorry, that’s just a fact.

So, when you take the best Marvel movie to date and add Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone to the mix, you have to assume Vol. 2 is going to actually improve upon the original. Set two months after the first film, the Guardians travel throughout the cosmos and struggle to keep their newfound family together, while helpingPeter Quill learn more about his true parentage.

The trailer’s biggest moment is at the end when Peter Quill finally meets Kurt Russell’s character Ego, who reveals himself to be Star-Lord’s long-lost dad.

Nintendo lives and dies by the out-of-left-field gimmick. The Wii U — despite being far superior to its predecessor in every way — was as much of an abject failure as the original Wii was a raging success. Now comes the Nintendo Switch, which is another wacky attempt to disrupt the console market. The Switch is meant to be toted around in a backpack for on-the-go play when you’re out, then popped into a dock that lets you continue your session on your TV at home — seamlessly transitioning back and forth without a hiccup. It’s anyone’s guess as to whether it soars or flops, but one thing that’s immediately clear is that both home and handheld gaming have never seen anything like this.

Despite Nintendo’s protests to the contrary, the Switch is at its heart just a Nintendo tablet. Where it separates itself from the gaming prowess of the iPad, Fire or Samsung Galaxy tabs is the ease in which it does things that makes gaming easier and better. Rather than relying solely on touch controls, which are a nightmare for traditional titles, it allows you to attach a pair of controllers on either side, allowing for the precision of analog sticks, triggers and buttons. Game cartridges allow for 3DS-like quick loads that discs — even with installed files — could never touch. Popping the image onto the TV is as easy as dropping it into a dock, which also charges up the system and controllers for your next outing. You can also detach the controllers — awkwardly named ‘Joy-Cons’ — to dual-wield in the manner of Wii motion gaming, or hook both up to a controller shell to replicate the feel of, say, an Xbox One gamepad.

There are numerous potential pitfalls to this dream setup, and questionable choices made by Nintendo that could hinder the system’s popularity. It’s key to the Switch’s relevance that people buy these things as quickly as Nintendo’s factories can pump them out, because if systems are left festering on shelves, developers will stop making games for it. That would lead to a Wii U-like software desert, with the console’s unique features squandered. The console’s approach to the digital sector seems convoluted and weird, with a stubborn, money-grubbing refusal to allow transfers of games players own on the Wii, Wii U or 3DS to transfer over to the new system. Nintendo has said it will eventually charge for online connectivity, justifying the fee by lending out free downloads of selected games each month. That system has yet to launch, but the Switch’s limited memory (32GB) seems designed to discourage downloaded games. Relying solely on SD cards for memory expansion rather than allowing portable hard drives is a stifling choice, but a necessary one to allow for portable play.

One of the biggest frustrations with the Wii U was how tightly the tablet-like controller had to be tethered to the base console to let you play in handheld mode. The most impressive triumph of the Switch is that it finally allows you to fulfill the dream of playing console-quality games while lying on your bed or attending to business on the toilet. While the PS Vita’s remote play function technically allowed you to do the same thing when hooked up to the PS4, that little-used function was hampered by a reliance on WiFi, which could cause nightmarish lag, accompanied with a squint-requiring screen. The Switch’s big, beautiful 6.2-inch 720p display lifts handheld gaming to its highest level yet. The tradeoff is an underpowered home console, which won’t hurt traditional Nintendo adventures of Mario, Link and Donkey Kong, but could make it tougher for third-party publishers to port over the latest and greatest multiplatform dynamos.

Priced at $299, the Switch is costly for a handheld but on the cheap side for a high-end home console system at launch. The system’s future may be clouded with mystery, but what’s apparent at the outset is that Nintendo’s engineers absolutely nailed everything they were going for with their audaciously strange new console-handheld hybrid. Once you own a Switch, gone are the days of needing to rush home to chip away at the new Zelda or speed down new Mario Kart tracks. While the system won’t fit into your pocket like a 3DS, you’ll find yourself making adjustments to keep it with you whenever possible. You’ll plop it in your car to help you kill time during traffic jams and waiting room visits. If Nintendo comes up with a man-purse that accommodates the Switch, I’m all in. The fact that you’ll feel the need to keep the Switch with you is the first victory in a larger battle Nintendo needs to win to stay relevant. Now to flip the switch in the minds of third-party studios who gave up on making software for the Wii U.

‘Just Dance 2017’ — Although no other console can replicate the precision and immersion of the Kinect-enabled Xbox One, the Switch version makes a noble effort to compete. Armed with boy Joy-Cons, you move your arms to the rhythm, matching onscreen prompts to rack up high scores. It’s a cheap novelty but solidly designed. The game can accommodate up to six players if you have enough controllers.

‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ — A sweeping, gorgeous epic, this is undoubtedly the showpiece of the system. It will no doubt keep you playing for months on end, which will be almost necessary given how few extensive hardcore games are available in the system’s opening months.

‘Skylanders Imaginators’ — Unlike other ports, which scale down and lose features to accommodate Nintendo systems, this game somehow gets better on the Switch than it is on traditional consoles. The portable screen’s ability to use NFC to scan in action figures makes it so you don’t need a cumbersome portal, and can truly play this game just as easily on the move as you can at home. A surprise highlight, this is an excellent pickup to go with your new system.

Alex Deaton is wanted in connection with the murder of his girlfriend, Heather Robinson, who was found dead in an apartment at the Vineyard at Castlewoods last Friday. Deaton has managed to elude police up until this point and his evasion of the law has roped several unfortunate victims into the unfolding crime spree.

What Happened

UPDATED, MARCH 1, 10:43 A.M. EST: Alex Deaton was taken into custody in Ellsworth County, Kansas after a multi-state crime spree that stretched from Oklahoma, New Mexico and Mississippi, WLBT-TV reports.

Authorities have determined that Deaton strangled his girlfriend last Friday, prompting the murder charge. He is also wanted for aggravated assault in connection with a shooting, as a woman in the Castlewoods neighborhood was shot while jogging early Friday morning. Neshoba County deputies have also named Deaton as a person of interest in a homicide investigation as Brenda Pinter was shot dead in Dixon Baptist Church.

Deaton stole Robinson’s car and changed the Mississippi license plate to a Missouri tag to initially flee from police. Police began to narrow in on him in North Central New Mexico when he ditched Robinson’s vehicle and carjacked a couple at gunpoint. Officials say that at some point during the ordeal, the male victim attempted to escape and was shot in the buttocks. The female victim was grazed by the bullet, but her injuries were not deemed to be life threatening.

Later in the drive, the female victim managed to escape.At this time, law enforcement offered a reward of $32,500 to information leading to the capture of Deaton.

Since then, however, Deaton has continued to harm innocent civilians. Early Wednesday morning it was reported that Deaton had been chased into Kansas during the night. He reportedly wrecked his car before getting out on foot and making it to a convenience store. There, Deaton allegedly shot a store clerk and stole a Cadillac.

The clerk was said to be in critical condition. Deaton remains on the run.

Who Is Alex Deaton?

Alex Deaton, 28, is reportedly involved in multiple crimes across Mississippi, including the murder of his girlfriend and shooting at least three other people during a multi-state crime spree. He is described as 5’9″ and weighs around 170lbs. He has hazel eyes and brown hair.

He was last seen in Kansas after also being spotted in Oklahoma and New Mexico, according to the Clarion-Ledger.

Deaton is accused of killing his girlfriend on either February 22 or 23.

“Not only is he a threat to the public, but I believe he’s a threat to any law enforcement that stops him,” Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey said.

When it comes to television, no one keeps a tighter wrap on spoilers than HBO’s Game of Thrones. Rumors are that each cast member’s contract contains a clause that if they leak any spoilers, Melisandre is legally allowed to sacrifice them to the Red God. However, accidents do happen.

Actor Liam Cunningham, who plays the worthy Davos Seaworth, recently spoke to the Irish Independent and may have unintentionally let a rough premiere date slip.

“I’ve been disappointing various people around the world because it was meant to come out in April,” Cunningham said. “It’s July now, I think.”

Fans have been aware of the delayed start date for some time, but it was always assumed that the seventh season would kick off in June at the latest. Now, we may have to wait until mid-summer to revisit Westeros. Major bummer.

On the bright side, Cunnigham teased something big for the opener this year.

“There’s going to be a launch and something special happening this year for the premiere. The bad news is, there will only be seven episodes and the final season starts [shooting] again as far as I know in September.”

Unfortunately, that final season will likely only consist of six episodes, so fans should treasure every single moment of Game of Thrones we have left. The Iron Throne won’t be around for long. Six members of the Kappa Sigma fraternity at the University of Connecticut have been charged with alcohol-related offenses in relation to the death of Jeffny Pally, a sophomore student who was run over by a fire truck after leaving a frat party last year.

The six fraternity members arrested in connection with the death of Jeffny Pally were Patrick Callahan, 21, Matthew Moll, 21, Dylan Morose, 22, Jonathan Polansky, 22, Dominic Godi, 21, and Austin Custodio, 21. They now face several charges, including permitting a minor to illegally possess alcohol.

The charged students are all between 21 and 22 years old and from Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut. Morose, Polansky, Callahan, and Moll were charged with permitting a minor to illegally possess alcohol. Their arraignment is currently scheduled for March 8.

Pally, a University of Connecticut sophomore from West Hartford, was sitting against the garage door of the UConn Public Safety Complex at around 1:00 A.M. after leaving a party at the Kappa Sigma fraternity house.

On October 16, 2016, Pally was killed when she was run over by a university fire vehicle responding to what turned out to be a false alarm call. Her body was not found until half an hour later when firefighters returned from the false alarm call. Pally, 19, died from injuries to her head and torso. Pally’s BAC was more than three times the legal limit in the state of Connecticut.

The driver of the vehicle wasn’t charged as the incident was ruled an accident, however, the two students responsible for the false alarm have been charged.

Back in October, UConn President Herbs released a statement on Pally’s death, saying, “Every student is precious to us, and this is a heartbreaking and tragic loss. Our deepest sympathies go out to her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. We know that words cannot begin to express their grief.”

Similarly, Shari Cantor, the mayor of West Hartford, released a statement:

“My heart is broken for her family, friends, and for the entire community. This is such a tragic loss. Jeffny was a sweet, intelligent, and beautiful young lady who brightened up everyone around her. She was a dear friend of my son and our family. I extend my deepest and heartfelt condolences to her family.”

Maybe March 1 is the start of a new business year at Netflix? Who knows? What I do know is that they are unloading first looks at new series and movies today, and one of the best of the bunch is the mysterious MINDHUNTERS.

MINDHUNTERS will be set in 1979 and will revolve around two FBI agents, played by Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany, who interview imprisoned serial killers to try to solve ongoing cases.

Jonathan Groff stars as Holden Ford, a special agent in the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, alongside Holt McCallany, who stars as Bill Tench, another special agent in the FBI’s BSU. Bomb threats targeting Muslim students holding “Islamic Awareness Week” at Concordia University in Montreal have been reported and the university has asked everyone to evacuate the EV and Hall Buildings as a precaution. Authorities are on the scene investigating though no “suspect items” have been found at this time.

What Happened?

UPDATE, 3:40 P.M. EST: The Montreal police’s search of three buildings at Concordia University has not uncovered anything suspicious following a bomb threat targeting Muslim students.

Montreal police are investigating after a letter was sent to local media outlets Wednesday threatening to set off bombs specifically targeting Muslim students in two on-campus buildings.

The letter was mailed to the Montreal Gazette as well as other outlets. It specified two buildings – the Hall building on de Maisonneuve Blvd. and the Engineering, Computer Sciene and Visual Arts building on Ste-Catherine St. – as potential targets “where Muslims hang out.”

One of the buildings is hosting an Islamic Awareness Week between Monday and Thursday, according to reports. It is believed that the letter was sent from a group that calls itself Council of Conservative Citizens of Canada. The group wrote about their displeasure with Muslim students at Concordia.

“Now that President Trump is in office south of the border, things have changed,” the letter said.

The group’s letter also threatened to “detonate once per day, a small artisanal amateur explosive device.” The letter goes on to say that the bombs are “not meant to kill anybody. The only aim is to injure some Muslim students.” The group also demands that the university cease “religious activities of all kinds on campus.”

Montreal police spokesperson Benoit Boisselle said several officers are investigating on campus at the moment.

“We don’t know yet whether the threat is founded,” he said. “The suspect sent by e-mail that he put some explosive items inside a few places inside the buildings. Lots of police officers are onsite right now. They looked around, they did not find any suspect items.”

This bomb threat targeting Muslim students at Concordia comes exactly one month after the mosque shooting in Quebec City (January 29).

What Is Concordia University?

The University’s John Molson School of Business is consistently ranked within the top 10 Canadian business schools, and within the top 100 worldwide. As of the 2014-2015 academic year, there were 46,378 students enrolled at Concordia.

A statement on the school’s website regarding the bomb threat reads, “Concordia is cooperating with police who are now on-site investigating a potential threat in these buildings.”

“If you are in these buildings, you are asked to leave immediately. This applies to all faculty, staff and students, as well as members of the public.”

According to the university, classes are cancelled until at least 6 P.M.

Beta Theta Pi History

Beta Theta Pi was founded by John Reily Knox, Samuel Taylor Marshall, David Linton, James George Smith, Charles Henry Hardin, John Holt Duncan, Michael Clarkson Ryan, and Thomas Boston Gordon on August 8, 1839 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Beta had no trouble expanding, as it became the first fraternity to establish a chapter west of the Mississippi River in 1866.

In 1872, they became the first fraternity to publish a magazine, which is still the oldest continuously running publication of its kind. When it comes to current achievements, Beta had their 85th Rhodes Scholar in 2016, making them the first fraternity to reach that number.

Ever since the day Kevin Durant announced he was going to sign with the Warriors, the NBA lost its casual fans. Why bother tuning in? You add a top-three player to the best regular season team of all time and the result is likely the best team of all time. Sure, you have to play the games. If they gave out championships in October then the Miami Heat would have been the 2011 NBA Champions. But anyone who tells you that the Warriors aren’t a virtual lock is either a liar or ignorant.

Sure, the Spurs are the Spurs and could always pop up and surprise someone, but does anybody really believe they’d win a seven-game series with the Warriors at full strength?

And sure, the Rockets have been a nice surprise, but even the Rockets’ players don’t think they could be the Warriors. After that, you’ve got teams like the Utah Jazz and the LA Clippers, who would be lucky to steal a game three at home.

In the Eastern Conference, the Celtics and the Raptors don’t even have a shot to make it to the finals, and even the Lebron James-led defending champion Cavaliers could be considered underdogs.

The point is that since the day KD joined the Warriors, the NBA season became moot for the average viewer. Sure, the diehard fans of their lifelong teams will continue to tune in, but if you’re a guy like me who knows which two teams will be in the finals and knows that the Warriors will probably win in six games, why bother watching until the finals?

This morning, if you’re a fan of the Spurs or the Rockets or Cavs or Celtics, you woke up feeling a little more hopeful, a little more energized. “Maybe we have a shot now,” you think to yourself.

Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States of America, has been very much enjoying his post-White House life. Photos of the politician recently popped up that featured him vacationing with family and you know, having fun now that he’s out of the spotlight. As a two-term president and three-year senator, he’s more than earned some time off for rest and relaxation (his hair can’t get any grayer).

A recent CSPAN study ranked Obama as the 12th greatest president in U.S. history, but what does that mean for his bottom line? Praise and accolades are all well and good, but they don’t pay the bills. As an eight-year commander in chief, author, and now sought-after public speaker, we’re curious how much Obama has stashed away.

Barack Obama’s Net Worth as of 2017: $12.2 Million

Obama’s net worth sits at a tidy $12.2 million, which may not be Mark Zuckerberg money, but is still pretty impressive to us common folk. His time in office has gained him a lot of attention and notoriety, but Obama’s extracurricular activities have been his true money makers. Over the years, Obama has made some wise financial decisions and positioned himself well for life after the Oval Office.

But how did he get here? And how did he do it in only a handful of years? Let’s take a look.

1997 – 2004

As an Illinois State Senator from 1997 to 2004, Obama earned an annual salary of roughly $80,287. During this time, Obama also lectured at the University of Chicago Law School, where he made around $32,144. In addition, he owned assets in four financial funds which were valued between $50,000 and $100,000 each. This is a comfortable living for sure, but soon Obama would start making some real money.

2005 – 2007

Seen as a rising politician after his 2004 Democratic National Convention appearance, Obama started receiving more opportunities to advance his career and make several boatloads of cash.

In 2005, Obama signed a lucrative multi-book deal with Random House Publishing and received a $1.9 million advance for the eventual best-seller The Audacity of Hope (plus royalties). In the same year, the soon-to-be president received $847,000 for a separate book advance and $378,00 off of book royalties. During this time, his investments benefitted from a Nuveen Floating Rate Income Fund valued between $50,000 and $100,000. Obama finished off the year reporting deposit accounts valued between $150,00 and $350,000.

In 2006, his book royalties paid him $150,000 and another book advance netted him $425,000. Additionally, Obama acquired publicly-traded assets in Goldman Sachs and Vanguard, said to be worth tens of thousands of dollars. Dude was making moves.

In 2007 things really started to pick up for Obama. He cracked the seven-figure mark once again by netting $3.3 million in Random House royalties and earned $816,000 from Dystel & Goderich Literary Management. Cha-ching. He also came into ownership of a Northern Municipal Money Market Fund valued between $1 million and $5 million, plus U.S. Treasury notes valued between $500,000 and $1 million.

2008 – Present

At the time of Obama’s inauguration, he was in ownership of anywhere between $1 million and $5.1 million in U.S. Treasury bills. In 2009, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, which came with a $1.4 million award (which he donated to a handful of charities).

During his time as president, Obama made an annual salary of $400,000 while continuing to earn book royalties and interest on his savvy investments. In other words, stacks on stacks on stacks.

Megan Crowley was not supposed to live past the age of five. She is now a 20-year-old woman who was a special guest at President Donald Trump’s joint address to congress.

Crowley, who was just over one-year-old when she was diagnosed with Pompe disease, a deadly muscle-weakening condition, was mentioned during Trump’s Joint Address to Congress.

President Trump introduced Crowley as “an incredible young woman” who should “serve as an inspiration to us all.”

Crowley, from Princeton, New Jersey, was not expected to live past five after she was diagnosed with the inherited disease, which affects the ability of cells to break down glycogen, leading to progressive muscle weakness as well as the swelling of vital organs such as the heart and serious breathing problems. Her younger brother Patrick was diagnosed with the same genetic disease.

Trump used the Crowley family’s fight against Pompe disease as an example of the pharmaceutical industry restraints he is seeking to cut at the federal level.

“Megan’s story is about the unbounded power of a father’s love for a daughter,” President Trump said.

“But our slow and burdensome approval process at the Food and Drug Administration keeps too many advances, like the one that saved Megan’s life, from reaching those in need,” he continued.

“If we slash the restraints, not just at the FDA but across our government, then we will be blessed with far more miracles like Megan. In fact, our children will grow up in a nation of miracles.”

Who is Megan Crowley?

Megan Crowley is a 20-year-old sophomore at the University of Notre Dame who suffers from Pompe disease. Not supposed to live past the age of five, Crowley attended President Trump’s first Joint Address at the age of 20.

The story of the Crowley family was turned into a Harrison Ford film called Extraordinary Measures in 2010.

Crowley’s father founded the company Novazyme Pharmaceuticals with bioscientist William Canfield, a company that worked towards developing am enzyme therapy treatment for Pompe disease. His firm was bought by pharmaceutical company Genzyme for $137.5million and a lifesaving drug for the condition was created thereafter.

Megan and Patrick have both taken part in the trial for a new drug that may help with the disease.

Emily Sanchez, an 18-year-old, was killed by a car late Sunday night while trying to rescue a cat that was previously hit by a car in which she was a passenger.

Around 11:00 P.M. Sunday night, Sanchez, of Apple Valley, California, was riding as a passenger in her mother’s Toyota Camry when they struck a kitten on the 13800 block of Kiowa Road.

As Sanchez exited her mother’s vehicle to attend to the injured cat, a Nissan Altima came from the opposite direction and struck her. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Via KTLA:

“The victim concerned for the cat had the driver turn around so she could check on it,” the Apple Valley Police Department said in a released statement.

Responding deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department began CPR on Sanchez. Police said she suffered severe head trauma and was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

Sanchez was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. The accident remains under investigation.

A GoFundMe page was launched by Sanchez’s sister to pay for her burial. The page describes Sanchez as a person who had a passion for animals.

Detroit police have launched an investigation into 18-year-old Molly Brazy after a video posted online shows the local “rapper” pointing a handgun at a young girl’s head.

The minute-long video shows Brazy pointing a firearm at the unnamed toddler and was shared on Facebook by G’Mac Cash, another Detroit rapper.

The video shows the toddler picking up the gun and throwing it at her, with Brazy reacting by picking it up and pointing it at the child. The rapper’s manager, who would not reveal their name, insisted the gun in the video is a fake plastic gun. Molly Brazy’s manager goes on to say that the video is roughly a month old and the young rapper knows it was wrong.

“We’ve seen so much infant mortality in this city in the past year. Messing around with guns like that is not a smart thing to do. It’s very irresponsible and reckless,” Woody said

“She was playing with the baby, and the baby was playing with her.She’s remorseful about it. If she could do it over she would,” Brazy’s manager said.

Brazy has admitted that she grew up in a gang, which she refers to as a “mafia,” and that all four of her older brothers were currently serving time in jail.
