Who still watches Family Guy? I don’t have a single buddy that’s even mentioned the show in about five years, let alone watched it. Once a groundbreaking comedy, Family Guy is now more-or-less a run-of-the-mill adult cartoon. Let’s just say it ain’t no South Park.

That being said, Family Guy will still hit a homerun every now and again. Think of them as a DL hitter who’s close to retirement: nowhere near the everyday starter they were in their prime, but still competent enough to launch one out of the park now and again.

We already know how The Donald feels about SNL‘s portrayal of him, so we can only imagine what he thinks of Family Guy’s.

Opinions on Nicki Minaj are polarizing, to say the least. Some (like myself) think she’s a totally legit rapper, while other think she’s a talentless hack who is nothing but a good body in tight clothes. Some think she’s the finest thing this side of 2010, while others think she’s too round and too fake. But one thing that everyone can agree on — love her or hate her — is that her ass is extraordinary in the most literal sense of the word. That’s not to confuse extraordinary for good. Extraordinary is defined as ‘very unusual or remarkable’ which is exactly what Minaj’s butt is… unusual.

I’ll be the first to say I’m a huge fan. Not only do I think she’s a pretty solid rapper, I also find her obnoxiously attractive. And while I’m a relatively confident dude, at the end of the day, I know if the opportunity presented itself to me, I’d be severely sexually outclassed. I don’t think I have the competence to handle all that. Hell, I don’t think I have the sexual competence to handle even half of that. Frankly, I don’t think most of us do.

I mean, take a look at this video and tell me you’d know what to do with this. You would try, and you would fail. Your best bet would be to let Nicki take over and hope you come out of the other side still in one piece.

Anyway, zero clue as to what this video’s about. The caption gives us zero context, and the video ends pretty quickly. I think we can chalk this one up to Nicki being Nicki, and knowing exactly where her money is made.

If you live in Saskatoon, Canada, the name Denis Hall might be familiar because he’s running for the Catholic School Board. But the name might also be familiar if you’ve ever checked the sex offender registry list because Mr. Hall is a pedophile who was tried and convicted of indecent assault and having sex with females aged 14 to 16.

As if conquering the stigma of being a creepy man trying to have sex with young girls isn’t hard enough for Hall, he will have a tough time winning the election considering that he’s received a lifetime ban from all Saskatoon Catholic schools. But for every roadblock there’s an opportunity, right? We’ll see how he fares in Tuesday’s all-candidates’ debate at E.D. Feehan High School, from which he’s not allowed in the front door. Our sources say that he might try to take part in the debate by looking through the window and answering questions from there.

Obviously, this man has zero business being out of jail, let alone running for the board of a Catholic school, but can we just talk about this ridiculous quote from Reverand Kevin McGee? “I have reasons for serious concern that Denis is not suited for this position.” Oh really? People in Canada are too nice. Call him a pervert sicko pedophile, shame him, and be done with it.

Who is Denis Hall?

Denis Hall is a man who is a convicted sex offender and now running for a position on the Saskatoon Catholic School Board.

In 1981, Hall was sentenced to 18 months in prison. He’d pleaded guilty to four of the eight charges against him for indecent assault and having sex with females aged 14 to 16, according to a 2003 Saskatoon StarPhoenix report. The crimes occurred in the mid-to-late-1970s in Regina, Swift Current and Melfort.

He also made an out-of-court payment to one of the victims to settle a lawsuit, stated the report. In 1994, Hall received a pardon because he had not been convicted of any further offenses to that point.

This isn’t the first time that Hall has run for election in the Saskatoon Catholic School Board, though. He also tried the same stunt in 2003.

Since when has mocking a school’s mascot that died from cancer become the cool thing to do? Spoiler alert: it’s not funny and it makes you look like a jerk.

A Reddit thread was opened to discuss the photo (pictured above) of two Florida players holding a cat-like skeleton with purple and gold beads on it. The photo was taken during Florida’s 40-14 blowout win over Missouri this past Saturday. There was some speculation that the skeleton represents Missouri because their mascot is a tiger. However, the purple and gold beads are the colors of Florida’s rival, LSU, who are also known as the tigers.

Why is this significant? LSU announced last week that its longtime mascot, Mike the Tiger VI, died last week. Mike VI was 11 years old and was humanely euthanized after a long battle with a rare form of cancer. So you’re telling me that a cat skeleton with purple and gold colored beads around it does not represent the LSU Tigers? My guess is the only people who will believe that statement are Florida fans.

The Florida Gators Twitter account stated that a fan threw the cat onto the field and it has no significance in their program.

This rivalry between Florida and LSU has really intensified over the past week and a half. Their game on October 8 in Florida was canceled because of Hurricane Matthew. The whole SEC has been debating on when and how to reschedule the game, with both Florida and LSU blaming the other side for the struggle. The issue was settled as Florida will now travel to LSU on November 19 to play the game.

The worst thing a team can do is to give their opponent extra motivation. Florida stupidly dumped gasoline on LSU’s fire. I’m not one for mortal locks, but if you feel like becoming rich, throw all of your money on LSU when the Gators stroll into town on November 19. LSU will blow them out of the building.

Odell Beckham has been making a real ass of himself this season. There’s just no two ways about it. He’s legitimately lucky the Baltimore Ravens don’t know how to tackle, because had he not had a monster game this weekend, New York City was about ready to be done with the guy. We can take losing. We can take passion. We can even take unnecessary displays of emotion. But what we cannot take is bullshit. New Yorkers have a minuscule margin for bullshit. And Beckham’s whole shtick with the ‘not having fun’ anymore, the Joker gloves, the goddamn kicking net — it’s all bullshit, and it’s wearing thin. Which is why it PAINS me to say that I agree with Mike Francesa’s evisceration of OBJ.

I agree with Mikey F: I absolutely cannot stand watching Beckham’s kicking net antics. It was never funny and the longer he goes on doing it, the more cringe-worthy it becomes. The fact that OBJ still genuinely believes that anyone still wants to see his weekly kicking net antics attest to how disconnected and out of touch he really is. Odell, your teammates, coaches, and fans want to see you play well, score some touchdowns, shake Eli’s hand as a touchdown celebration, rinse, and repeat. No one shows up to Giants games to watch you do your best Carrot Top routine with the motherf*cking kickers net.

First Half

1′: And we’re off. Liverpool vs. Manchester United. Doesn’t get much better than this “Red Monday”. The atmosphere at Anfield is absolutely electric.

2′: Marcus Rashford flies into James Milner but the Manchester United youngster is fortunate not to get a yellow card.

Last week we told you about professional boxer Adrien Broner’s scary situation with threats of suicide. Thankfully it ended safely, with Broner returning home with his friends and family. Still, though, it’s very clear that Broner (like all people who have suicidal thoughts) needs help. So rather than send him to rehab or the hospital, Floyd Mayweather decided to fly Broner to Las Vegas to get down with some bottle chicks.

Unfortunately, it seems as though that wasn’t exactly the right decision because now there are reports that Adrien Broner attacked a female server, put his hands around her neck, and said, “B*tch I will knock you out.” Apparently, there are witnesses who can corroborate the story, in addition to a video which got the whole thing.

What Happened?

Floyd Mayweather took The Money Team and Adrien Broner out to Drai’s Nightclub this past weekend. While they were turning up, Broner allegedly choked a female waitress at the club and threatened to knock her out. While this was happening, witnesses allegedly filmed the whole dispute.

Police were called and arrived at the scene quickly. For his part, Broner denied everything to the police. Cops did not arrest Broner, but instead gave him a summons to appear in court at a later date.

We’re told that the video of the incident definitely does exist, but that it hasn’t surfaced yet.

Even if the story isn’t true, perhaps someone with a brain should help Broner before he kills himself or someone else. Taking someone to Las Vegas and surrounding them with crazy people and cash doesn’t sound like a good idea for someone who needs to duck out of the public spotlight for a while.

Thank God. Honestly, this is what this country needs right now. Just a solid 30 minutes (I’m assuming it’s only half hour long) of absolutely minimal brain activity and maximum enjoyment. That’s what VH1 is hoping Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party brings the American people — some much-needed food/pot based R&R. Nothing like distracting yourself from the horrors of the presidential election and the death of Harambe then watching Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart eat dinner together.

Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party will combine a mixture of things pop culture currently loves: food, celebrities, cocktails, and entertainment.

Needless to say, Snoop is hyped. He and Martha have been homies since working on ABC’s 250,000 Pyramid and their friendship grew to the point where Snoop appeared on her show a couple of times.

As you may or may not have heard this morning, Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks who is currently holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London to hide from a rape charge in Sweden, had his internet cut. Although an internet outage is something that many of us deal with regularly, the timing for Assange was very unfortunate; he was about to release a huge batch of new leaked emails.

Not only did Wikileaks suspect foul play, they even blamed a “state party” for shutting down their connection.

Believably, Assange’s followers and diehard supporters started spouting all sorts of conspiracy theories about which country would have shut them off from the world. The United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, etc. Next on the list were Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, or thousands of other libtards who were scared of what might come from his latest leaks. After all, these were all countries and “state parties” who would have benefitted the most from locking Assange out of the world wide web.

But you know who was never named once in all that noise? Ecuador. And do you know who shut off his internet access? Ecuador. That’s right, folks, the very country that’s hosting Julian decided to cut his access to the web. From the official Wikileaks Twitter account:

“We can confirm Ecuador cut off Assange’s internet access Saturday, 5pm GMT, shortly after publication of Clinton’s Goldman Sachs speechs [sic],” the account tweeted Monday afternoon.

Obviously there’s got to be some sort of cat-and-mouse game they’re playing with Assange, because they wouldn’t just lock their house guest out of the thing he needs the most. So either Julian starts cleaning up his room and making his bed, or he might have to find a Russian embassy close by.

It’s about time a top-flight developer took on the fertile territory for grisly combat yielded by World War I, and EA DICE makes up for lost time with the bold, brutal Battlefield 1. Packing not only the sprawling multiplayer suite Battlefield fans are used to, the game digs into territory the series usually glosses over by nailing a deep and engrossing single-player campaign. Seizing the opportunity to tell fascinating, globe-spanning stories that made up what was known as the Great War a century ago, Battlefield 1 feels like double the game for the usual price.

Few war games in recent memory open up with a sequence as breathtaking as the way Battlefield 1 gets things going. You flash from one deadly scenario to another, with no prompting or context. Whether you’re entrenched behind barbed wire at the end of a bayonet, behind the gun of a marauding tank or dashing through no man’s land amid a hail of bullets, death is inevitable. After each demise, the screen flashes with the name of the combatant and the startlingly young age at which he perished. A poetic voiceover then settles you in to a map of the globe, letting you choose from among several mini story campaigns, ranging from an Italian volunteer to a British flyboy to Lawrence of Arabia.

Throughout the countless missions, you gain a fast appreciation of the sheer animosity of the way war was waged as society stumbled into the Industrial Age, with befuddled commanders sending scared teenagers to use gruesomely efficient machinery of death to blow each other to bits for no discernible reason. Movies and games tend to glorify the heroism of combat, but this game is out to capture the sense of horror. You nearly always feel outmanned and outgunned, and the personal touches never let you forget that these are real people you are dealing with. You can’t help but wonder whether you had a forgotten descendant who was among the 60 to 70 million warriors who took part in the unfathomably bloody conflict.

Since the material the game takes on is so different, it’s a little surprising how multiplayer feels much the same as what you’d normally expect from Battlefield. Maps, though vast and open, take on a bit of the cookie cutter, lost-in-oblivion feel that nagged Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. The biggest change is the slower pace offered by lumbering vehicles and archaic weapons. The lack of firearm reliability puts a premium on melee, measured stealth and the overwhelming power offered by the likes of turreted cannons and portable flamethrowers. Going the lone wolf route rarely makes sense in a Battlefield game, and that’s more true here than ever. The vanilla opening offerings will no doubt be boosted by map and weaponry expansions, but there is a looming sense that developers held back too much.

As rival Call of Duty continues to push deeper into the sci-fi future of combat, Battlefield 1 feels all the more fresh by reversing the trend and going old school. In many ways, the trenches and smoke-strewn wastelands the game hurls you into feel more alien than anything the likes of Call of Duty, Halo or Gears of War have to offer. It feels good to be forced out of your comfort zone as a grizzled, cynical shooter vet, and even better to have an invigorating and thoroughly educational campaign to play through if you’re not feeling the multiplayer scene. Battlefield 1 is an eye-opener about the grim realities of war at its most savage, and as sharp and jarring as a bayonet in the spine.

This week’s power rankings have no changes to the top three but sees Dallas vault into the #4 position after their stellar win at Lambeau Field.

The Packers were joined in the loss column by five other teams in the top 10 after a wacky week, with the Falcons, Broncos, Steelers, Eagles and Raiders all losing.

Buffalo and Washington, who appeared impotent during 0-2 starts, continue their ascendance after each nabbed their fourth consecutive win. The Bills are now ranked #10 with the Redskins two spots behind them.

The Panthers took the biggest tumble in the rankings this week. After giving them the benefit of the doubt last week and ranking them #13 despite a 1-4 start, I dropped them to #24 this time around after they got lit up by New Orleans’ offense. It just seems like everything that can go wrong for Carolina this season is, and they look destined to join the long list of Super Bowl runner-ups who disappointed in the following season.

Now without further adieu, here are the week 7 power rankings.

Week 7’s Top 10 Teams

1. Minnesota Vikings (5-0) (Last Week: #1)

The Vikings had a bye this week and I see no reason to drop them from the top spot. As good as the Patriots were on Sunday, the Vikings have plowed through everybody on their schedule and have earned this coveted position. The Vikings resume play with a visit to Philadelphia on Sunday.

2.New England Patriots (5-1) (#2)

After battling injuries in the early part of the season, Rob Gronkowski returned to all-pro form against the Bengals, accumulating 162 receiving yards and a touchdown in the 35-17 win. Gronk and Martellus Bennett present matchup nightmares for opposing defenses, and the Patriots are once again the team to beat in the AFC. They’ll face the Steelers sans Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

3.  Seattle Seahawks (4-1) (#3)

The Seahawks needed a late Matt Ryan interception to pull out a 26-24 home victory against the Falcons, and while it wasn’t their most dominant performance, they showed a lot of guts. Russell Wilson became the fastest QB to 50 wins in NFL history on Sunday, and continues to look healthier every week. They face the Cardinals in Arizona on Sunday Night Football in what’ll be another stiff test.

4.Dallas Cowboys (5-1) (#7)

While the headlines are about who will be the Cowboys starting QB going forward, Ezekiel Elliot is having maybe the best season for a running back in league history. The Ohio State product has rushed for a league-leading 703 yards so far, including 157 yards in Dallas’s dispatching of the Packers on Sunday. The Cowboys have a bye this week.

5.Atlanta Falcons (4-2) (#8)

Aside from the teams already listed, the rest of last week’s top 10 all lost this week. Of those teams, it was the Falcons who most impressed me, going into Seattle and consistently moving the ball on the vaunted Seahawks defense. They host the Chargers on Sunday afternoon.

6.Denver Broncos (4-2) (#4)

The Broncos lost their second straight game this week, falling 21-13 in a sloppy Thursday Night Football game to San Diego. Thursday games are notoriously wonky, so I’m still giving Denver the benefit of the doubt. But if they can’t get the job done at home against Houston on Monday Night Football then I’m going to have to drop them down much further next week.

7. Green Bay Packers (3-2) (#6)

The  Packers were thoroughly outplayed in their two-touchdown defeat to Dallas on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers looked more like Jordan Rodgers, but I have to think the former MVP will eventually get back on track. Green Bay won’t have a lot of time to dwell on that loss, because the Bears come to town for Thursday Night Football this week.

8.Kansas City Chiefs (3-2) (#12)

Kansas City cruised to a 26-10 win in Oakland on Sunday, and the two-headed monster of Jamaal Charles and Spencer Ware should be tough for teams to handle. While I don’t think this team has enough firepower to go against the AFC’s best, as evidenced by their week 4 spanking by the Steelers, the Chiefs play smart football and should be back in the mix for a playoff spot. The Chiefs next five opponents currently have losing records, starting with the Saints this Sunday.

 9.Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) (#5)

It’s difficult to rank the Steelers right now because it’s unclear how long Ben Roethlisberger will be out. While I think they’re New England’s strongest challenger in the AFC with Big Ben, with Landry Jones at the helm it’s doubtful they’ll be able to keep up with the Patriots this week when the two teams get together in Pittsburgh.

10. Buffalo Bills (4-2)  (#15)

When they fired Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman after a 0-2 start, we all thought head coach Rex Ryan would be next. Alas, the offense has improved behind a revitalized LeSean McCoy, and Buffalo has now reeled off four straight wins. The Bills most recently destroyed Colin Kaepernick and the lowly 49ers 45-16, and will look to extend their winning streak to five in Miami on Sunday.
