Lollapalooza 2016 is finally here, and while you were busy figuring out your festival wardrobe, we were working on putting together the funniest memes to get you amped up for the Lolla experience. We’re not going to tell you whether to see Red Hot Chili Peppers or Potty Mouth, but we will encourage you to consume these memes with caution. They are, after all, very funny.

July 28-31, 2016, Grant Park, Chicago is getting turnt up. You never know what may happen at these multi-day music fests, be it rainstorms, a dead cell phone, or missing toilet papers in the loo. So be prepared.

A couple tips for having a blast at the festival:

1. You’re going to spend some money over the course of the weekend, so it’s worth hitting up the ATM at your own bank before heading in so you can avoid additional fees. Better yet, don’t bring cash at all. Take advantage of Lolla Cashless, which allows you to register your wristband (free of charge) with the credit card of your choice, so that you pay with a tap of the wrist. The only drawback? It’s harder to be accountable for all the booze.
2. Don’t forget your phone charger. You wouldn’t want to miss out on all photo-ops when you run out of juice.

Well, I’m perved out. Listen, all you thieves out there, if you’re ever going to rob me, please just do it. Take my sh*t and go. All you’re gonna find is a Playstation 4,a couple of Batman comics, a dirty bong and a 32-inch TV. Seriously you can have it. But whatever you do, please don’t go all Paranormal Activity on me and watch me while I sleep. That’s something you just can’t wash off, ya know? You’ll f*ck with my sleeping pattern, and that’s truly a crime worse than burglary.

Jordan Buranskas (who’s pretty hot, by the way) and boyfriend Jack Mackercher were asleep on their couch when a burglar got in through an upstairs window. However, instead of just robbing them like a normal a**hole would, he went the pervy a**hole route and watched them while they slept. Not only that, this MF was moving so slowly, so quietly, he didn’t even wake the two dogs sleeping at the couple’s feet. Anyone who’s ever, well, encountered a dog in their lives knows how difficult it is to not get their attention.

When the couple woke up, they had no idea anything had happened, until Buranskas couldn’t find her purse. Her boyfriend then checked the security camera footage that they use to watch their dogs, where he realized that they had been robbed by a grade-A, varsity level creeper.

Jordan and Jack are trying to rationalize it to themselves by saying the dude was actually watching Mr. Robot, and not watching them sleep. They say it’s cause he left right after the episode ended. I have a couple of thoughts on this theory, best explained in bullet points:

• Look, Mr. Robot is a good show, but come on, you think this robber just thought to himself, ‘Wait, time out, gotta catch the end of Mr. Robot before I get outta here?’. Sorry, no way.
• AND even if that was his thinking, the problem is still the same: the dude was in your house while you were sleeping. And not only that, but he’s such a sociopath that he just had to catch the end of Mr. Robot.
• Finally, you people have f”*cking security cameras for your dogs, but no alarm for intruders? Come on.

Jack told ABC 7:

 ‘I’m like, “Why are you at the top of the stairs wearing a white hoodie before we went to bed?” She’s like, “I wasn’t at the top of the stairs.” ‘So that’s when you go flush and start to freak out a little bit.’

According to Jordan:

“He stood there for about 5 minutes the first time then walked away, then came back and hovered over us again for another 5 minutes.”

The suspect has been nicknamed “The Creeper Ghost” (A1 nickname, whoever thought of that. Props.), who’s apparently responsible for robberies in the neighborhood. Hopefully they catch this dude because not only is he a criminal, but he’s a majorrrrrr weirdo.

The 2016 Summer Olympics are rapidly approaching, so let’s take a few minutes to get to know U.S. Olympic pole vaulter Lexi Weeks. Weeks is from Cabot, Arkansas, and she is currently a student-athlete at the University of Arkansas. Amazingly, she has an identical twin sister named Tori, who is also a pole vaulter for the Razorbacks. Weeks recently finished up an outstanding freshman year, winning the pole vault at both the NCAA Division I Indoor and Outdoor Championships.

After the NCAA season wrapped up, the All-American turned her focus to qualifying for the Olympics. On Sunday, July 10, Weeks cleared 4.70 meters (15 ft 5 in) in the pole vault final at the U.S. Olympic Trials. This impressive performance gave Lexi third place honors and punched the 19-year-old’s ticket to Rio.

Ella Rose, a Swedish swimsuit model and the former girlfriend of New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman, claims that Edelman is the father of her unborn baby. Ella filed a paternity suit in a Los Angeles court earlier this week and claims that she’s confident Julian is the daddy. Apparently the two had had a casual relationship for around two years and that she’s five-and-a-half months pregnant.

The timing of the announcement is a little weird, considering that Edelman was recently seen in Nantucket holding hands with Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima. Is Ella jealous, or just making sure that she’s taken care of once she has the baby? Honestly, it’s probably just bad timing.

The last day of the Democratic National Convention will finally see Hillary Clinton accept the DNC’s nomination and hear her talk to the delegates she’s hoping to win over. It will be certainly tough for Hillary her to top the speech of POTUS Barack Obama who spoke on her behalf last night, but no one’s ever said this year’s Democratic nominee wasn’t tough.

Federal investigators and a bomb squad have sealed off the area around a tractor trailer at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station after it alerted for a possible explosive device inside, officials reported.

In continuation of their Bud Light Music First program, North America’s most popular beer is helping to make Lollapalooza’s 25th anniversary the best festival Chicago’s ever seen.

In addition to serving their delicious beers to attendees 21+, Lollapalooza has named one of the main stages the Bud Light Stage–the place where people will go to party to the sounds of Lana Del Rey, Major Lazer, Disclosure, Future and Ellie Goulding. Not only that, but Bud Light has entered a collaboration with local artist Floyd Davis to create some custom cans to memorialize the weekend. You can see what the wrapping for those 16 oz. cans look like below:

Perhaps the biggest thing, though, for Bud Light will be a “Stage Moment” that will happen during Flosstradamus’ performance on the first night. The beer company is keeping their lips sealed pretty tight, but considering the amount of money they’re spending on it I would imagine that it’ll be a big deal. “We are stoked to be partnering with Bud Light to bring you all a very special stage moment that coincides with the 25th anniversary of Lollapalooza,” said Flosstradamus.

Lollapalooza 2016 will be the 25th anniversary of the legendary festival. Lollapalooza is one of the most recognizable music festivals in the country. With 32 million people (that’s about the population of Texas, by the way) attending roughly 150 American music festivals last year, it can be tough for the average fan to decide which one of these festivals to actually attend. Located in Chicago, Illinois, the heart of America, Lollapalooza is most definitely one of the festivals music fans should be circling on their calendars. A four-day affair, lasting from Thursday to Sunday, Lollapalooza is  assuredly one of the best shows in the country. If you can’t make it to Grant Park for the festivities or you simply hate large, sweaty masses of people you can watch the Lollapalooza livestream, thanks to RedBull TV.

Lollapalooza is an annual music fest that takes place in Chicago. A widely diverse fesitval, Lollapalooza features all sorts of acts: alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop, and EDM bands and artists, dance and comedy performances and craft booths. It has also provided a platform for non-profit and political groups and various visual artists. Started in 1991 by Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell as a farewell tour for his band, Lollapalooza ran annually until 1997, and was revived in 2003. From its inception through 1997 and its revival in 2003, the festival toured North America.  In 2005, Farrell and the William Morris Agency partnered with Capital Sports Entertainment and retooled it into its current format as a weekend destination festival in Grant Park, Chicago. Today, Lollapalooza hosts more than 160,000 people during the course of it’s weekend.

A Cheddars waitress in Murfreesboro, Tennessee has just lost her job after posting a racist image on Snapchat, which of course went viral. In the Snapchat photo, she captioned her angry face, complaining that “I’m so hung over and have a section full of ni***rs right now.” Somehow a woman named Chelsea, one of the people in that same group she was serving, saw the hateful message and wrote some thoughts on Twitter.

What Happened?

Here’s the story of what happened, according to Chelsea Mayes’ Facebook post, one of the women who was being served:

Yesterday this photo of a Murfreesboro Cheddar employee started circulating on social media. Being as though I was lucky enough to be one of the “N***ers” she speaks of, I feel it’s only necessary to give my view!

Afte church a few fellow First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro TN college choir members and I decided to go to Cheddars as we do very often. After patiently waiting 30 minutes to be seated, we were placed in this lovely lady’s section. The funny part about this was she was “friends” with one of us that sat at this table. She smiled laughed and joked with us as we all enjoyed our meals.

Being that we were pleased with the service on a busy day, we each GENEROUSLY tipped her and went about our day. So imagine how extremely disheartening it was to see this circulating only hours later.

I said all of that to say this. You never truly know the person behind the smile. No matter how much love and joy you spread, there will always be someone with hate in their heart towards you, regardless if it’s in your face or when you leave. It’s up to you how you handle it.

I am personally extremely proud of myself. If this had been Chelsea a couple years ago, Cheddars would have been flipped upside down. But now I just feel sorry for her.

Reaction To The Image

A Cheddar’s spokesman told WSMV-TV in a statement that, “We, ourselves, were shocked and offended after learning one of our servers had posted comments on social media that were hurtful and derogatory. This type of behavior will never be tolerated in our restaurants. The server was immediately suspended and ultimately terminated after our internal investigation.”

Colbert has had a hell of a couple of weeks. Aside from his shenanigans at the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, Colbert even brought Jon Stewart out of retirement. However, the highlight of his last week was the return of the legendary host of The Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert.

After a decade on Comedy Central, Stephen Colbert retired his Colbert Report character in December of 2014 when he took over hosting duties on The Late Show from David Letterman. But last week, Colbert reprised “Stephen Colbert” for a sketch alongside Jon Stewart during the first night of the RNC. He even did his famous “The Word” segment, which was the first segment to air on The Colbert Report 10 years ago.

However, at last night’s show, Colbert revealed to the audience that corporate lawyers (assumedly those of Comedy Central) were none too happy with the resurrection of Colbert’s beloved buffoon. Luckily for us, though, in classic Colbert fashion, he found a way around the pesky lawyers: but introducing us to Stephen Colbert’s identical cousin, Stephen Colbert, and a new segment, ‘The Werd’.

Give it another year or two, and Colbert will be back on top of the late night game. He is going to crush during this upcoming election.

Attention mankind: Chipotle plans on opening their first burger restaurant. Please remain calm and find the nearest bomb shelter, and await further instruction.

First off, it’s called Better Burger, which may or may not be the most uninspiring restaurant name I’ve ever heard. According to the Seattle Times, Chris Arnold, a Chipotle spokesman, said in that the company’s first Tasty Made burger restaurant will open in this fall in Lancaster, Ohio. Chipotle says the Tasty Made menu will be limited to burger, fries and milkshakes. This is obviously a bizarre and risky move, given the fact that Chipotle is still desperately trying to recuperate customers after the E.coly outbreak from last fall. Despite Chipotle giving away coupons for free burritos and stepping up it’s marketing, sales were still down 24 percent at established locations in the second quarter. Needless to say, this move into burgers is a swing for the fences: they’ll either hit a home run, or go down swingin’.

Surprisingly (seriously surprising, I didn’t know this), this isn’t Chipotle’s first foray into other markets.

Chipotle had noted that it previously said the “Chipotle model” could be applied to a wide variety of foods. Already, the company has an Asian food concept called ShopHouse, which lists 15 locations, and a pizza concept called Pizzeria Locale, which lists five locations.

Needless to say, I’m skeptical of any and all moves Chipotle makes these days, so I’m gonna be staying far away from these burgers.

Every stadium/arena knows that in order to make money, you’ve got to come up with great ways to sell drinks. Period. Booze is the single most important item for vendors because of its markup and profits. Unless you’re a historic franchise, you’ve got to have some sort of draw to make some cash. The Miami Marlins have The Clevelander, The Jaguars have that pool deck and now the Oregon State University Beavers–who are in for a couple of rough seasons–have a new beer garden.

The Terrace at Reser Stadium is actually the perfect addition to the home of the Beavers. Unlike other states or areas, Oregon is one part chill, another part diehard about how you should enjoy beer. That’s why Oregon is the home to sick breweries like Rogue, Deschutes, Full Sail and a ton of other places that make phenomenal brews.

Enter The Terrace, which is a field-level seating area/beer garden that will feature a selection of drinks from Oregon breweries and wineries. So what beers are going to be served there? Check out the lineup below.

According to The Terrace‘s website, there will be around 600 seats available–although it looks like there’s plenty of standing room if you can’t find a seat. The site also states that entrance will be free, just probably not easy to get. “Like the state it embodies, the Terrace is a place for everyone. It’s just not for everyone at once. For each game, a number of “Orange Passes” will be distributed. Sign up for updates on how to get your hands on one at no cost.”

Apple will continue releasing two versions of each iPhone, so both an iPhone 7 and an iPhone 7 Plus are expected to be released this fall. Perhaps the biggest change to this year’s iPhone is the rumored removal of the classic headphone jack. With no headphone jack, headphones will connect to the iPhone 7 using its Lightning port and Bluetooth headphones will connect wirelessly. Apple is reportedly working on Lightning-equipped EarPods to sell alongside the iPhone 7. Apparently, the removal of the headphone jack may also improve water resistance.

New Lock Screen

iOS 10 has a new raise-to-wake feature that wakes up to display the lock screen without having to touch any buttons. The updated lock screen also includes new features that give native apps and third-party apps an interactive interface. You will be able to clear  your notifications with a 3D Touch gesture, and widgets will FINALLY be available on the lock screen with a quick swipe to the right.

Siri being opened to developers

Siri will now be open to developers, meaning, you will be able to use Siri to open and operate apps. For example, you will be able to send messages in WhatsApp, or order an Uber, all with just your voice. Awesome.

Apple will be dramatically improving Quick Type suggestions. Siri will also be involved in this update, for example, if someone messages you with “Where are you?” Quick Type will offer your current location as a suggestion.

Updated Photos App

Facial recognition technology will now group all of your friends and family into specific albums automatically. It will do the same with scenes and objects as well (mountains, horses, trees, etc). A second next feature, Memories, will automatically group photos to create movies, slide shows and more. If you go on vacation and take 200 pictures, your iPhone will group them into a single memory.

New Messaging Features

The first new feature is called Rich Links. Rich Links will give you previews of content when you receive a message with a link. For example,  videos on rich links will play right in line automatically, and music can be played right from within the app when someone sends you a link to a song in Apple Music. Emoji are three times bigger on the keyboard, and Quick Type offers emoji suggestions. Handwriting and Digital Touch will now also be available on the Messages app.

One of the most exciting new features of the Messages app is the new bubble effects let users send messages with animated chat bubbles. They can grow larger for shouting, smaller for whispers, and there are some other effects as well. It’s kind of hard to describe with text, so you can check out animations on the official iOS website.

New Phone Features

The Phone app will now automatically transcribe your voicemails. While very cool, I just don’t see its use, as voicemail is a dying service. Even those who do still use voicemail usually don’t leave a message long enough that it needs to be transcribed. There’s also an extension that will allow supported spam lists block spam calls without any intervention needed from the user.

Notes Collaboration

Just like Google Docs, you will now be able work live and edit notes with multiple users at once.

Safari Split View

It took them a while, but you will finally be able to view two websites at once in the Safari app.

Also, for a year from 2008 to 2009, she had a recurring role in the American sitcom Two and a Half Men as Celeste.

Tinashe has been in the news lately as she is reportedly dating Calvin Harris. Maybe it’s just Calvin and I, but I would take a night with Tinashe over Taylor Swift any night of the week. Just look at her. You can tell she knows how to have a good time.

Two San Diego Police Department officers were shot around 11 PM on July 28th. One officer has died from his injuries, and the other was just released from surgery and is expected to survive.

SDPD Chief Shelley Zimmerman gave a quick press briefing immediately following the incident, in which she revealed a few details which we’ve listed below. We’ll update this article as more details on the sad situation come out.

What Happened?

The situation is still developing, but we know that around 11 PM two officers who were part of SDPD’s Elite Gang Unit were shot. SDPD Chief Shelley Zimmerman said that the officers were conducting a routine traffic stop in San Diego’s Southcrest neighborhood, called it in to dispatch, and then almost immediately called for emergency cover. Officers in the area came as quickly as possible and found both officers down.

One of the downed officers, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the upper torso, was placed into a patrol car and driven to Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest. Sadly, that officer didn’t make it. The other officer was taken by medics to a local hospital and is expected to survive. He was released from surgery at 4 AM PST.

Once there was word on the radio that there were officers down, police response to the 3800 block of Boston Avenue was swift. A shelter-in-place was issued for the surrounding areas, and helicopters, patrol cars and SWAT vans were used to comb the entire neighborhood. “I couldn’t even tell you how many cop cars were racing down the freeway,” NBC 7 reporter Raul Meza wrote on NBC San Diego’s Facebook page. “I’ve never seen anything like that before.”

Who Was Involved?

Although there’s not much information known about the situation at this moment, the SDPD did announce on their Twitter that one suspect was in custody. They found him in the immediate vicinity hiding in a ravine-type area. Other possible suspects are still being sought.

The names of the two officers haven’t been released yet, pending notification of family.

The whole thing was planned as part of Bud Light’s epic stage moment we gave you the heads up about yesterday. It all started towards the end of Flosstramus’ set, when they brought out Chicago’s very own Dwayne Wade who just joined the Chicago Bulls. DWade then brought out Grammy-Award winning singer Michelle Williams who broke out into “Survivor.” Next up was Chance the Rapper, who tore the stage up with songs off Coloring Book (aka the best album of the summer).

At the end of the performance, they all grabbed a Bud Light and celebrated to the 25th Anniversary of Lollapalooza.
