Humboldt-University Administrators Pissed After Two Girls Film Erotic Scene in School Library

Humboldt-University Lesbian Scene

Humboldt-University

Two German girls just pulled a Kendra Sunderland and school administrators are pretty pissed about it. The majority of male students, on the other hand, are cursing themselves for missing out on the action.

Humboldt-University, located in the German capital of Berlin, is now a site for amateur pornos, thanks to two girls who decided it would be an awesome idea to film a lesbian sex scene in the school’s library. Creative!

According to Metro, things start out as a trip to the library, with the two girls talking about how studying makes them tired. Naturally they need something to wake them up, and apparently coffee isn’t the obvious answer.

You can imagine where this leads: to a dark aisle of books where the two start to have sex. Titled Naughty Library Fun, the video has been uploaded to Swiss erotica site Ersties, an amateur adult film site. Sadly the university is really showing how uptight they are, and has since banned all filming on campus unless explicit permission is granted beforehand.

“We did not approve this filming and have made it clear that we don’t allow any filming to go ahead which is not approved,” University spokesman Hans-Christoph Keller said. “We are now looking about what legal action we can take against what happened.”

Hey Keller, get that stuck out of your ass and get over! Take the free publicity and roll with it! Guaranteed your admission rate will increase by 100%. Then you’ll be thanking them!

FIFA President Vote: Gianni Infantino Wins

There was a lot of talk going into Friday’s FIFA presidential election with Sepp Blatter’s removal. It meant that there would be a new president for the first time in 18 years. It came down to the UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino and Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Kahlifa and on the second vote, Infantino got the 115 votes he needed to win the election to become the new president.

Infantino is 45 years ago and who is a lawyer and sports administrator who joined the governing body in 2000 and moved all the way up to the general secretary takes over for Blatter, who got a six-year ban from soccer last year following a corruption scandal. It wasn’t even anticipated that Infantino would be on the ballot at all but was put on there after UEFA President Michel Platini was banned from running himself because of a similar scandal.

He promised during his campaign that there would be more guaranteed funding from the $5 billion World Cup revenue to member federation along with more places in an expanded 40-team tournament. There is also the chance for multiple countries to host the event every four years. Infantino has a huge hill to climb to get the respect of many nations with the issues that FIFA has had over the past year or so. The World Cup has been in turmoil for 2022 in Qatar as well because of the scandals. It will be up to Infantino to calm the fears of many.

Meet Kristoffer Ian Celera, TXST’s Pantless Donald Trump Impersonator

Donald Tramp Texas State

Facebook

It’s hard to parody a man who’s a walking joke, but Texas State University student has managed to do just that. As his alter ego “Donald Tramp,” Celera has been strutting around the university’s San Marcos campus in a ginger wig, button-down, blazer, and short-shorts, urging his fellow students to vote for him. His platform seems to be based on a striptease that would make any professional dancer proud.

And, in case you were wondering, he’s running under the campaign slogan ” Make Short Shorts Great Again.”

Celera’s Tramp persona was born this past October, when he decided to stand out from the other Trump Halloween costumes by taking things in a “slutty” direction. However, it only went viral after Boy Chad, a California-based musician, posted a short taste of his performance on Feb. 10. It has since been featured on news outlets like the New York Daily News and The Advocateand has received over 185,000 views.

“Humor, as I put it, is the best weapon in the war of words,” he said in an interview with The Huffington Post. “There’s nothing wrong with taking politics seriously, but it doesn’t mean that one has to take it so personally to the detriment of their well-being.”

While Celera plans to vote for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, he, like so many others, can admit that Trump’s run a very successful race.

“He capitalized on the anti-establishment sentiment among Republican voters who criticize not only the Democrats, but the Republicans who they view as appeasers,” Celera explained to The Huffington Post. “Another appeal, even among non-supporters such as myself, is his indifference to political correctness. I’m a gay Asian immigrant, and I don’t like political correctness one bit. I treasure all free speech, even what many may consider ‘hate speech.'”

Well, let’s all salute the freedom of expression that’s brought us Donald Tramp. Thank you, Kristoffer Ian Celera. Keep up the good work.

We Hung Out With Allisa Henley, One Of The Whiskey World’s Few Female Distillers

Unfortunately, it’s not very often you come across a female whiskey distiller, so when we got to hang out with one from George Dickel Whisky yesterday, we were pretty excited.

Allisa Henley was raised in Coffee Country, a few miles away from the Tennessee-based distillery in Cascade Hallow. Little did she know at the time, however, that she would eventually work there one day.

Initially Henley was hired to design the George Dickel Whisky distillery’s visitor tour experience, where she would train more than 300 ambassadors and staff. In order to do the job well, she had to learn all she could about the industry.

“I essentially had to write a tour script from scratch, and you can’t write about it unless you know what you’re talking about,” Henley said. “I firmly believe you can learn more on the job than you ever can in a classroom.”

But don’t let her sweet southern accent fool you; she’s a smart woman who means business.

Henley openly admitted that while she doesn’t come from a chemistry background like most of her colleagues, she’s a quick learner and passionate – which to be honest, is sometimes all you need. She also earned her undergrad from the University of Tennessee and her MBA from Lipscomb University.

Henley’s position as George Dickel’s distiller has allowed her to travel extensively and become certified in numerous areas. In fact, as soon as she left our office, she was getting on a flight headed for Boston, and before that, she was in Wisconsin.

In recent years, Henley completed the Malt Advocate Course in Scotland and Ireland, the Sensory Certification with DIAGEO’s Technical Innovation team, and has led multiple seminars on Tennessee Whisky and women’s historical role in the business. Whenever she finds downtime in her packed schedule, Allisa is a devoted wife and mother to her son. She’s also an avid skier and enjoys the outdoors.

What makes George Dickel’s Whisky unique is not only its name (whisky is spelled in the Scottish way without an ‘e’) but also by the way it’s processed.

Image via Getty

Image via Getty

George Dickel was a German man who visited Tullahoma, TN in 1867 with his wife Augusta, and realized this was the ideal location to perfect his whisky-making craft. He also realized that whisky made in the winter was smoother than whisky made at any other time of year, and came up with a unique chilling process called charcoal-mellowing.

According to their website, this extra step filters out oils and acids, a process that George Dickel Whisky is known for.

In fact, Henley proudly boasts that every bottle of George Dickel Whisky is handcrafted by just 35 actual people- not machines. So with every sip, you can feel good about drinking the highest quality whiskey at an affordable price. The company has made it easy for younger consumers to sip on today’s trendiest spirit without breaking the bank.

Since you weren’t able to hang out with us yesterday, here are a couple (delicious) recipes you can try out yourself. Feel free to go a little heavy handed on the whisky.

This University of Buffalo Senior Wants You to Fund His Spring Break Trip

Toussaint Espada Spring Break

GoFundMe|Toussaint Espada

Have some extra money after paying for your Spring Break trip and don’t know what to do with it? Not to worry—you can hand it over to Toussaint Espada.

Toussaint Espada, a senior at the University of Buffalo, has set up a GoFundMe page for those willing to donate to his last Spring Break trip. Being low of cash, he was disappointed to find that his parents wouldn’t help support his trip. His goal is to reach a hefty $4,000 so he can “get out of the godforsaken freezing tundra that is Buffalo, NY.” If he doesn’t reach the full amount, his plans are to head as far south as the money will take him.

Read his campaign, titled “Toussaint’s Last Hoorah,” here:

“I’m hoping that the good people of the Internet will help me enjoy my last chance to go on spring break and have fun before I go into the real world and slave away in a cubicle from 9-5 and go home to my apartment with my dog waiting for me. Any amount is greatly appreciated. If I raise a good amount but not enough for Panama City Beach, I will make do and just drive as farthest south as I can. Thank you again for your time and consideration and if you donate, you are much appreciated.”

Considering the good people on the Internet managed to donate to Kanye West, we have a feeling Espada has a good shot at getting some dough – or at least $50.

UT-Austin Dean Steps Down After Campus Gun Law Passes

Fritz Steiner, the dean of UT-Austin’s architecture school, has officially resigned in light of a new state law that allows students and faculty to carry concealed handguns inside the classroom. Steiner announced Thursday that he “would have never applied for another job” if the Texas governor hadn’t signed the law.

The new rule takes effect in August and public universities are required to enforce it. Private universities, on the other hand, can opt out of the controversial new rule.

“I felt that I was going to be responsible for managing a law I didn’t believe in,” Steiner told the Texas Tribune. Reactions surrounding his decision vary.

Supporters of the campus carry law quickly criticized Steiner. The group Students for Concealed Carry acknowledged in a statement that worries about guns on campus are taking “a real, measurable toll on the state’s institutions of higher education.” But people spreading unreasonable fears about the law are at fault, not the law itself, the group said.

“Just as witches were not to blame for the Salem witch trials, and just as vaccines are not to blame for the negative results of the anti-vaccine movement, campus carry is not to blame for the current atmosphere of fear on Texas college campuses,” the group said.

He will become dean of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design this summer. “Penn is a great institution and I am very happy to go to Penn, but I was approached … and, if it wouldn’t have been for campus carry, I wouldn’t have considered it,” he said.

Rapper Celebrates the Freedom of Paying Off Student Loans in New Song

The joy of paying off your student loans

The rap aesthetic is all about opulence and luxury. It’s fancy cars, gold chains, and… paying off your student loans? When New Orleans-based rapper David Augustine—better known by his stage name “Dee-1″—finally landed a recording contract, he knew exactly what he was going to do with the money.

“Most rappers buy a new car; they go ball out; they take a vacation; they go buy new jewelry,” he told NBC News. “I wanted to break the stereotypes of how people normally spend them — and get out of debt.”

The song, “Sallie Mae Back,” describes a struggle all too many students are familiar with:

Needed tuition, needed room and board

Had to pay for books, so I took out loans to feed the boy

Graduated wasn’t making quite enough to pay them back

Went into default, messed my credit up, check my Equifax

I ain’t proud of that…ain’t drownin’ that…

I got two jobs really got on my grind…In the game right now, my time to shine.

Starting paying those loans back one at a time.

Got them down, down, down ’til I paid them all off.

When he graduated from Louisiana State University, Augustine worked as a middle school math teacher, but found he still had trouble paying off his student loans, even when he got a second job.

“I did this song to give people hope when it comes to their financial situation,” he explained, “whether they’re in debt and it’s looking bleak and they don’t make enough to make monthly payments on time, I wanted to give them hope and give them something to look forward to, be that light at the end of the tunnel.”

The song, which premiered Feb. 11, has since been dubbed “the anthem of a generation” and has reached almost half a million views. Check it out:

The world of college basketball has seen a lot of great players go through it this season. There are ten guards though who have been the best in the whole country along the way however. Some players will surprise casual college basketball fans but each of these ten players deserves the recognition that they get.

Here are the top ten guards in college basketball for 2016.

Buddy Hield, Oklahoma

(Photo by Justin K. Aller/Getty Images)

(Photo by Justin K. Aller/Getty Images)

There is few players as good as Hield has been this season and with him averaging 25.1 points and 5.5 rebounds a game, he is going to win player of the year probably. The 6-4 senior has a bright professional career ahead of him if he can keep up this scoring average.

Anthony Barber, N.C. State

(Photo by Justin K. Aller/Getty Images)

(Photo by Justin K. Aller/Getty Images)

Barber has been a beast all season long for the Wolfpack and just scored 32 points against North Carolina on February 24. He is going to lead his team into the ACC Tournament soon looking for a miracle to make the NCAA Tournament. Barber is averaging 23.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists a game.

Grayson Allen, Duke

Allen has had his issues on the court with some incidents but is still a very solid guard at 6-5 who averages 20.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists a game. The Blue Devils are probably very happy to have him on the court and Allen’s emergence is going to send Duke deep into the tournament.

Stefan Moody, Ole Miss

Look out for Moody moving on to the next level. He is averaging 23 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists a game at just 5-10 and the senior just keeps getting better. If he can get the Rebels into March Madness, it will be well worth watching him play in the tournament.

Denzel Valentine, Michigan State

(Photo by Rey Del Rio/Getty Images)

(Photo by Rey Del Rio/Getty Images)

If there was an award for two straight solid seasons over the last two years, Valentine would win it. He is averaging 19.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.3 assists a game with his big 6-5 frame. The Spartans will be leaning heavily on him in the coming week as the Lansing native tries to get Tom Izzo another title.

Kevin Punter, Tennessee

It is Punter’s second season with the Volunteers but he has taken his game to a completely different level this season. He is averaging 22.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game right now. Tennessee will need a ton of help to make the tournament but Punter has been the big bright spot.

Andrew Andrews, Washington

(Photo by Gene Sweeney Jr/Getty Images)

(Photo by Gene Sweeney Jr/Getty Images)

Some players get better with age. This is the story of Andrews who in his senior year now is averaging 20.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists a game for a Huskies team that is on the edge of the NCAA Tournament. He isn’t the greatest shooter out there but just keeps firing.

Jamal Murray, Kentucky

Murray is a freshman who has made a major impact on the college basketball scene. He is averaging 19.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for the Wildcats this season. John Calipari has to be happy that he found his Ontario native north of the border.

Jeremy Senglin, Weber State

There may be some people who forget about players like Senglin at the smaller schools but he is averaging 18.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists a game for the Wildcats. Weber State was 21-7 as of February 25 and could make the NCAA Tournament. Watch for Senglin then.

Max Landis, IPFW

Before falling off the chair, Landis is one of the deadliest three-point shooters in the country while making 47.4% of his long-range shots. Landis is also averaging 18.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists a game for Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne. He is someone who will score a No. 2 seed in the tournament.

Top 10 Best Forwards In College Basketball 2016

The forward position is one that sometimes doesn’t get the same attention that the guards are because they aren’t as dynamic. However, this year’s crop of forwards is dominating the game with their skill around the basket. Some of the biggest names in the country make this list of the top ten forwards in the game along with a few lesser-known names that deserve plenty of attention.

Here are the top ten forwards in college basketball for 2016.

Kyle Wiltjer, Gonzaga

(Photo by Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images)

(Photo by Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images)

It is nearly impossible to find a better forward in college basketball right now than Wiltjer. The senior is averaging 20.8 points and 6.4 rebounds for the Bulldogs as he tries to lead them deep into the NCAA Tournament in March. A player that has just got better every year.

Georges Niang, Iowa State

Niang has been one of the most consistent players in all of basketball over the last three years but this season has been his best. Niang is averaging a career-high 19.5 points and 6.2 rebounds a game for the Cyclones who have had some struggles but will likely make a deep run into March.

Ben Simmons, LSU

The freshmen sensation continues to impress as the 2015-16 season winds down. Simmons is averaging 19.5 points and 11.9 rebounds along with five assists a game for the Tigers, who have had their struggles all season long even with the big year from Simmons. He is a one-man wrecking crew.

Jarrod Uthoff, Iowa

Quietly in the middle of the country is Uthoff and his 18.6 points per game average this season for the Hawkeyes. It is a career-high for him and he is adding 6.5 rebounds a game. Iowa has been very consistent this whole season and it is in large part to what Uthoff has been doing.

Ben Bentil, Providence

After averaging just 6.4 points a game as a freshman, Bentil has shot up the scoring ranks this year while averaging 20.7 points and 7.6 rebounds a game for the Friars. Providence appears to be well on their way to the NCAA Tournament. Bentil may only be 6-9 but he is a monster inside.

Brice Johnson, North Carolina

When a player is able to average a double-double in just 27 minutes per game, it is impressive. Johnson is going into the final weekend of February averaging 17 points and 10.6 rebounds a game for the Tar Heels. The senior has gotten better each and every season.

Ryan Anderson, Arizona

Anderson is coming off sitting out of a year after transferring from Boston College and has made a major impact for the Wildcats. He is averaging 16 points and 10.2 rebounds a game while playing just under 30 minutes a night. Anderson is going to make things very hard on things trying to defend him.

Henry Ellenson, Marquette

Freshmen have been making huge impacts over the last several years around college basketball. Ellenson is a classic example of that this year as he averages 16.7 points and ten rebounds a game for the Golden Eagles. Marquette has some work to do to make the tournament but Ellenson has done his job.

Joel Bolomboy, Weber State

It is hard to believe that two of the best players are on the same team but Bolomboy is a dominant player for the Wildcats along with his teammate Jeremy Senglin. Bolomboy is averaging 17.6 points and 13 rebounds a game. It may not be SEC or Big Ten competition but it is better than a lot of players.

Nathan Boothe, Toledo

There is some love that needs to be given to what Boothe is doing in the MAC with the Rockets. Boothe is averaging 19.1 points and nine rebounds a game for a Toledo team that will do some damage in the NCAA Tournament if they can get there. Boothe is a major piece of that puzzle.

Yoko Ono Not Dead — But Rumors Sure Flew Around Last Night

Yoko Ono Dead Rumors

Yoko Ono isn’t dead, but a lot of people thought the 83-year-old widow of John Lennon was about to keel over last night. The New York Post’s “Page Six” posted that Yoko had been rushed to a hospital after a call from her Upper West Side home (the Dakota Apartments, where John was shot) saying that her speech was slurred and she was possibly having a stroke.  [photo: Brian Bahr/Getty]

But it wasn’t long before Sean Lennon tweeted: “Hey, guys: it was only rumors from the press. was NOT a stroke; just dehydration/tired. She is FINE. Thank you everyone for your concern.” Yoko’s spokesman Elliot Mintz quickly responded to the reports, telling ABC News and anyone else who’d listen:

They are not accurate. To the best of my knowledge, she had symptoms along the lines of a serious flu, and her doctor thought it was best that she would get a check-up at the hospital, and she is being checked up for that, and hopefully will be released as early [as] tomorrow. There is no stroke, and there are no life-threatening circumstances as has been described to me. It’s just an advanced case of the flu. I can’t confirm or deny which hospital she’s at.

This mainly want us to say that we hope our spokesman never ends a sentence with a preposition. Also, that announcement soon had everyone at the clubs last night feeling comfortable enough to make jokes about how the sounds of Yoko having a stroke should be recorded, because then it could be turned into a song on one of her albums.

Which is kind of unfair, but people have been making cracks about Yoko Ono albums for decades now. She’s complicated, but Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band is one of the best post-Beatles albums ever made. People just hate it because it was also the first post-Beatles album, and everyone knew it was her fault. Here’s what she does nowadays…

Glory 27 Guto Inocente vs Demoreo Dennis

The Glory 27 MMA event — part of the UFC Fight Series — was full of really interesting matches — but the bout between Guto Inocente vs. Demoreo Dennis ended up being very decisive. That was courtesy of a spinning heel kick that reminds us once again why we gave up our MMA careers. Obviously, we would have killed somebody by now. That’s because our teeth would be deadly projectile flying into the audience.

Anyway, that’s Demoreo Dennis having to be carried out on a stretcher after getting an amazing shot full of torque from Guto Innocente, who’s clearly not innocent of causing some serious mayhem. (You can also see why we gave up our careers in MMA sportcasting.) Anyway, this is how it’s done — although we’ll enjoy watching it more once we learn that Demoreo is doing alright…

New Movie Trailers: ‘Nine Legends,’‘Guardians,’ And More… [VIDEO]

Nine Legends Trailer Video

We’ve already gotten all excited over the 2016 Academy Awards by compiling the trailers for all of this year’s Best Picture nominees — and there’s probably not much of a chance that any of the trailers we’ve gathered here will be up for any honors next year. That’s partly because the industry is holding on to some good trailers to air during Oscar Night. Also, they won’t appreciate what looks like the Best Documentary of this coming year. We’re still excited about some of these offbeat movies coming to theaters…

Nine Legends

Officially, this is a documentary where Bill Goldberg, Bret Hart, Mike Tyson, Chris Jericho, Dynamite Kid, Amy Dumas, Rob Van Dam, Ted DiBiase and Randy Couture talk about making a living while hurting people. But there’s also a bizarre framing device, where it’s the 2050, and a a young wrestling fan discovers that his grandfather used to run around the world interviewing the biggest wrestling stars of all time. So, there’s some hope for the future….

Too Late

This is just another hipster noir film, but it’s also the best hipster noir film in a series of recent revivals. John Hawkes stars as private eye Mel Sampson, who’s hired to track down a missing woman he already knows very well. From there, though, things get all twisted in a manner worthy of Memento and even older films….

The Jungle Book

Yeah, we’re still excited about this one. Here’s an extended trailer that introduces Neel Sethi as Mowgli, and adds some more surreal moments in this tale of CGI creatures voiced by great actors. We may not be seeing it in the most coherent state, but we’ll be there on opening night…..

Guardians

Here’s another look at the first superhero movie (that we know of) from out of Russia — and it looks pretty amazing. We’re kind of in Watchmen territory here, with the film is set in an alternate history at the height of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. In true Commie style, the superheroes are meant to reflect the strengths and traditions of the people of the USSR. In the current history, they’d all look like Vladimir Putin….

Green Room [International Trailer]

And here’s another look at director Jeremy Saulnier’s follow-up to Blue Ruin, as a group of punk rockers grab the wrong gig and end up being hunted down by neo-Nazis led by Patrick Stewart. It looks more like a horror movie, and anyone who saw Blue Ruin is rightfully excited over this one….

It’s exactly what we needed to warm us up at this time of year — and we’re reminded that Nina also made it a hot November last year by showing off the Leonisa Mystery Bra. We’re still not sure what the mystery actually was about the bra. We looked really hard, too.

But a gal like Nina Agdal doesn’t stop at just modeling lingerie. As part of her promotion for this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Nina agreed to do some in-house advertising for Edge Shaving Gel — by posing in an Edge Shaving Gel Bikini! That’s a fairly inexpensive bikini, too.

Sports Illustrated has the Edge video, but we have a few favorite shots below, along with some lovely Leonisa lingerie pics. You’ll also get a glimpse of the world’s best job, as a guy gets paid to hold the hair dryer that also styles a bikini made out of Edge Shaving Gel. We’re not sure how that works, but you can bet that we’re going to find out — helpfully with the assistance of a female…

50-shades-of-grey-razzies

The 2016 Razzie Awards were handed out last night, and it was a big evening for 50 Shades of Grey. We’d know all the other Oscar-nominated films that swept the major categories in a similar manner. We’re less familiar with the history of the awards that are announced annually for the worst movies and performances of the year. It’s probably more common for a Razzie-nominated film to sweep major categories, but it still sounds impressive.

Also, we’ve seen a lot of our favorite movies and performances nominated for Razzies before. There still isn’t too much to debate with this year’s winners. They’re listed below, with the proud winners at the top of each category in bold….

WORST PICTURE (TIE)
Fantastic Four and Fifty Shades of Grey
Jupiter Ascending
Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2
Pixels

WORST ACTOR
Jamie Dornan, Fifty Shades of Grey
Johnny Depp, Mortdecai

Adam Sandler, The Cobbler and Pixels
Channing Tatum, Jupiter Ascending

WORST ACTRESS

Katherine Heigl, Home Sweet Hell
Mila Kunis, Jupiter Ascending

Gwyneth Paltrow, Mortdecai

WORST SUPPORTING ACTOR

WORST SCREEN COMBO

Sam Taylor-Johnson, Fifty Shades of Grey
Andy and Lana Wachowski, Jupiter Ascending

WORST SCREENPLAY
Fifty Shades of Grey (screenplay by Kelly Marcel, Based on the Novel by E.L. James)
Fantastic Four (screenplay by Simon Kinberg, Jeremy Slater and Josh Trank)
Jupiter Ascending (written by Andy and Lana Wachowski)
Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 (screenplay by Kevin James & Nick Bakay)
Pixels (screenplay by Tim Herlihy and Timothy Dowling, Story by Herlihy, Based on a Work by Patrick Jean)

There’s also this recent category that we we really hate, because it’s like the Razzies being self-conscious and having to admit that they’re often wrong. Like we said, there really have been some great performances nominated for Razzies. Eddie Redmayne was easily the best thing about Jupiter Ascending. We liked it better when the Razzies were just stupid fun…

RAZZIE REDEEMER AWARD
Sylvester Stallone (All-Time RAZZIE Champ, award contender for Creed)
Elizabeth Banks (RAZZIE “Winner” for MOVIE 47, Multiple Hit Movies This Year)
M. Night Shyamalan (Perennial RAZZIE nominee & “winner,” director of The Visit)
Will Smith (For following up After Earth with Concussion)

And here’s some video of when Halle Berry accepted her Razzie Award for Catwoman. Bill Cosby accepted his for Leonard, Part 6, as well — but that’s less funny now…

Have You Seen This Man? Ohio Bank Robber Looks Familiar…

Deadpool Bank Robbery

A U.S. Bank branch in South Point, Ohio, was robbed on Friday at 2 p.m. by a robber who seems suspiciously familiar. Police report that the suspect — seen here on video — apparently forgot his ammo bag and simply used a black handgun to rob the branch and escape with an estimated $2,000 in cash.

Sylvia Bailey, who lives in the neighborhood but actually slept through the afternoon robbery, told local WSAZ News, “It’s a pretty scary looking thing. If I’d been in the bank, it would have scared me.”

Authorities say the suspect is a white male. They might just be thinking that because they’re familiar with a certain marketing campaign that’s been really successful. Police also estimate that the culprit stands between 5’9″ and 5’11”. We’d say closer to 6’2″.

The suspect is “considered armed and dangerous.” We won’t argue with that. And while a vehicle description hasn’t been released, we’d recommend looking for a yellow taxi with that has someone screaming from inside the trunk.

Creighton U Bans Conservative Group Of ROTC Student Who Exposed Trump Bias

Creighton University

Creighton University — a Jesuit college in Omaha, Nebraska — just marked two semesters in a row of denying ROTC student Justin Carrizales’ application to start a chapter of the conservative organization Turning Point USA. But there also concerns that Creighton is cracking down on Justin [at right] over his outing some petty behavior by a Creighton professor. [photos via: Creighton U/Justin Carrizale]

The student tried to remain anonymous when he was responsible for Hypeline reporting that Dr. Fidel Fajardo-Acosta had done some serious editorializing and indoctrination during a test for his “World Literature I: Antiquity to the Renaissance” course. An extra credit question on an exam (worth 5 points!) offered the multiple-choice options of “Donald Trump is a) a fool; b) already in hell; c) a clown; d) all of the answer choices for this question are correct; e) an evil man; f) the Anti-Christ.”

The real answer to that question, of course, was that students were going to be cheated out of five points on an exam unless they went along with Dr. Fidel’s deep thoughts on topics that don’t really reflect issues covering world literature through the antiquity to the renaissance.

Carrizales soon had his name associated with the article — partly because of his work with Turning Point USA, which must be pretty well known around the Creighton campus. He later went to his (typically outspoken) Facebook page to out himself as the Hypeline source, adding that he was protesting instructors who “thrust their opinions down students’ throats in a fashion as if it were factual.”

Creighton spokeswoman Cindy Workman told TheCollegeFix’s Matt Lamb (who’s also associated with Turning Point USA) that the university had already denied Carrizales’ application before the Hypeline story was ever published. Lamb notes that means the advisors waited six weeks before getting around to telling Carrizales about the decision.

The 88th Academy Awards will be on Sunday, February 28, 2016, at 8:30 PM EST. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will honor the best films of 2015 by presenting awards in 24 categories.  Actor and comedian Chris Rock will be hosting the event for his second time, having previously hosted in 2005. The Grammy’s recently suffered their worst rating s in years, so the Oscars are hoping to avoid the same fate.

There is a more attention on the Oscars than usual this year for a couple of reasons. Most obviously is the controversy surrounding the lack of nominations of black actors. The controversy has garnered so much attention that the hashtag #OscarsSoWhite has been trending ever since the nominations were announced. The controversy even has it’s own section on the Wikipedia page for this year’s awards.

Some actors, such as Will Smith, are so angry that they are advocating for black actors to boycott the Oscars. However, on the other hand, black actors such has Ice Cube and Whoopi Goldberg find the criticism ridiculous, and the lack of nominations is based solely on merit, not race. Ice Cube, who produced the hit biopic film Straight Outta Compton, stated that “It’s crying about not having enough icing on your cake. It’s just ridiculous.” Oscar winner and former host, Whoopi Goldberg, defended the Academy as well by saying, “The issue is not the Academy. Even if you fill the Academy with black and Latino and Asian members, if there’s no one on the screen to vote for, you’re not going to get the outcome that you want. I won once, so it can’t be that racist. I’ve been black the whole time.”

Then of course, is Leonardo Dicaprio’s pursuit of his first Best Actor award. The picture Dicaprio is nominated for, The Revenant, received the most nominations with twelve total, with Mad Max: Fury Road coming in second with ten. For the second consecutive year, a film directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu received the most nominations. As for the major categories, Best Picture and Best Director are virtually a toss up, but in the Best Actor and Best Actress categories, Leonardo Dicaprio and Brie Larson are heavily favored.
