In 2016, it’s easier than ever to snatch your 15 minutes of fame.Just say something controversial about race, and next thing you know website’s like COED will be publishing articles of your hottest photos. At least that’s what blonde smokeshow news anchor Tomi Lahren did.

Lahren was responding to the first pointless politically correct controversy of the year, Beyonce’s performance at the half-time show. Lahren, speaking to Beyonce, said on her show Tomi, “Your husband was a drug dealer. For fourteen years, he sold crack cocaine. Talk about protecting black neighborhoods? Start at home.” Ouch. he criticism comes after Beyonce’s Super Bowl performance, which invoked the Black Panthers, Black Lives Matter and the shooting of Mario Woods. But her soundbite didn’t end there.

“Beyonce just like President Obama, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Al Sharpton and so many others that just can’t let America heal, you keep ripping off the historical bandaid. Why be a cultural leader when you can play the victim, right? Guess what Beyonce? White people like your music too.” She adds, “White people buy your songs on iTunes, memorize your lyrics and admire your talent and beauty. Little White girls wanna be like you just as little Black girls do, but instead of that, you’d rather perpetuate the great battle of the races.”

As an employee of the Glenn Beck run channel The Blaze, it comes as no surprise that Lahren might potentially be a crazy racist. I mean, have you ever heard Glenn Beck speak? Not to mention that Lahren is coming off hella hypocritical. She is criticizing Beyonce for using a large stage to get her message across, but then turns around and uses her critique of Beyonce’s performance to increase her popularity.

Anyway, when she’s not spewing idiocy, Tomi Lahren is actually worth admiring. After all, she’s only 23 years old (I’m only 23, and look where I’m at) and she’s already hosting her own show. I mean, sure, it doesn’t hurt that she’s a smoking hot blonde with a fierce tongue… actually… who are we kidding? Her fame has everything to do with the fact that she’s a smoking hot blonde. She does not have this show if she isn’t that good looking. Find me another 23 year old that hosts their own show, let alone a political show. And if Lahren has a problem with me saying that, she can come down to our office and set me straight, too.

We had the chance to talk to TJ Miller, a man who started out like all of us: as a baby. Later on he grew up, moved to a George Washington University comedy troupe, and now stars in Super Bowl commercials with Shock Top and huge Hollywood blockbusters like Deadpool.

No. I did ask them, though. I want to make it very clear that I did ask them. The bartender was like “we have Guinness.” Which is good, because it would have been weird if he didn’t.

2016, it’s a young year but would you say that this is going to be your biggest and most busy year ever?

No that was in 2010 with Yogi Bear 3D. You saw that, right? Right? What the f*ck are you laughing at?

Speaking of Yogi Bear 3D, when can we expect an Oculus Rift version sequel?

Oh God I would love to do Yogi Bear 4D. That would be amazing. I would agree to do it with the studio, but only if they let me write it.

Who came up with the Shock Top ad? Did you write it and go to them, or did they approach you?

I was approached by Shock Top and I thought, I don’t know. I just liked it. At first it was Anheuser-Busch, so I wasn’t sure that a Bud Light or a Budweiser ad was within my brand, or wheelhouse, or whatever you want to call it. Then they said it was Shock Top, and I like Shock Top. It’s got gluten in it, I love that. Big gluten guy.

But seriously they said it’s a talking beer tap that only you can see or hear. And you’ll be doing it live. I don’t know if you’ve seen Gorburger but that’s a big animatronic puppet that I control, so I’m big into animatronics.

They also liked the Critics Choice Awards. I’ve been really lucky lately. People have been saying that “We’re not exactly sure what you do, but we like it and we’d like you to bring your style and ridiculousness to our brand.”

You went to George Washington University. Tell us about that.

The thing about that was that I was in Recess, which is the big comedy group at the University. That was where I got my comedy chops. They do sketch improv comedy and video and they just happened to be one of the best groups, randomly. And that was a big part of my general success.

Did you force your fraternity brothers and pledges to go to your shows?

No, actually we were pretty funny and generally we were sold out. We rehearsed from 10 to midnight every night Monday through Thursday and we were expected to do stuff on the weekends. It was a big commitment. They definitely made you get serious about comedy.

So that was the beginning of the interview where we talked about Shock Top, which was the only reason we were able to get access to a star like TJ. If you haven’t seen his ad campaign with Shock Top, I suggest watching their reviews of the other Super Bowl commercials. It’s really good.

You know what’s cool? Getting your pizza delivery on-time, steaming hot, and ready to eat. You know what’s not? Getting a creepy delivery dude that won’t leave you alone.

Unfortunately that’s exactly what happened to Imogen Groome, a 22-year-old British blogger who was bombarded with creepy texts after ordering a pizza around midnight.

Here’s how the exchange went down:

Dude! Could you be more thirsty?! Listen, we’ve all seen a hot person from a distance – if you want them to go out with you, you need to play it cool, not stalk them.

The messages went on for a whole other day before Dominos began investigating the incident. “It’s really sinister and freaky and I am really disturbed by what happened,” explained Imogen during a recent interview with Metro. “It has made me not want to use Dominos delivery any more.”

Uhh… yeah… we hear that.

Spokesperson for Domino’s Pizza Group Nina Arnott said in a statement, “We are very sorry to hear about Imogen’s experience, which was wholly unacceptable. Following an investigation, the driver has been dismissed with immediate effect. We are in touch with Imogen to help put this right.”

When you ask a man about their perfect woman, the responses tend to vary. There’s the guy who prefers the blonde haired, blue eyed girl next door type, and the one who likes something more exotic. The one who prefers more curves while another is into the whole “I’m a model” look. But dating site WhatsYourPrice is putting differences aside and coming up with a more conclusive answer.

The dating site, which allows men to bid on dates with women, based their findings off the total amount of money men are willing to pay in order to get a date with certain types of women.

The study revealed that preferences have seriously shifted over the last year. In 2015, the most desirable attributes were golden locks and light eyes, while this year’s stats yielded opposite results.

Here’s a quick breakdown:

Apparently men prefer hair like Mila Kunis’ or Kate Beckinsale’s, eyes like Selena Gomez’s, Jessica Alba’s, or Beyonce’s, and a darker complexion (typically of Middle Eastern descent) like Kim Kardashian’s.

“When you think about the all American beauty, the picture of a blonde, blue-eyed bombshell usually comes to mind,” explained Brandon Wade, CEO and Founder of WhatsYourPrice. “Our study shows a major shift in America’s definition of The Perfect Woman.”

However, there is one thing that managed to stay the same: their love for supermodels. The average desirable height was 5’9 – four inches taller than the average American woman – and a toned and athletic body type.

Luckily not all of the men profiled were shallow f*cks. Each dude also wanted their lady to have a college degree, like Emma Watson.

Milo Yiannopoulos, an openly gay British journalist, took over a lecture hall at Rutgers University today but was cut short when he was interrupted by student protesters smearing fake blood all over their faces.

Considering the lecture theme, the bold act of protest is pretty ironic.

The students were living proof of why Yiannopoulos was there in the first place: to argue that college is a time to expose yourself to different and controversial ideas, and that by silencing those you deem “offensive” is actually diminishing the college experience.

Yiannopoulos was invited by Rutgers University’s Young Americans For Liberty to speak on “How the Progressive Left Is Destroying Education,” which drew a massive student crowd. Evidently they weren’t all there to just listen.

“In my view, anyone who asks for a trigger warning or safe space should be immediately expelled,” Yiannopoulos says, right before he was interrupted by several student protesters, who claimed Yiannopoulos was the bodily representation of hate.

Milo’s supporters fought back with a Donald Trump rant and several students took to social media to show what was happening:

Despite leaving the auditorium, things didn’t stop there.

Event organizer Aviv Khavich was allegedly hit with red paint, but deemed the event successful nonetheless.

We knew from the get-go that there would be protests. That wasn’t a surprise. Milo is obviously a very controversial character and protests sort of come as a given. What we didn’t expect was the sheer level of unruly chaos that the protesters brought, or that so many of them would be able to make it into the audience. We didn’t expect them to cover themselves, the building and others in red paint to protest some vague idea of Milo being “hateful.” They were misinformed, if at all informed, on Milo’s stances, and they were incredibly unwise in their choice of action.

The event was obviously a huge success. The protests brought even larger publicity, and there were at least a thousand people milling about Scott Hall last night. Fans, protesters, police, the press. An admin from KnowYourMeme even showed up. Milo got shouted over a bunch, which was unfortunate, but it really served to just prove exactly the purpose of his speech: modern leftism is poisoning debate and thought at universities. You can’t even bring a harmless gay man to speak without an enormous shouting match erupting. Black Lives Matter will not benefit from this appearance, just like they did not benefit from their poor exhibition at the Dartmouth library. People are going to see them for the vitriolic hate group they are–they were assaulting people, harassing people, vandalizing the walls and floors.

We’re going to see a lot of people intellectually disowning BLM after this event. So, yes Milo at Rutgers was a huge leap for free speech and for challenging progressivism on university campuses.

The latest Democratic Debate, which will be the 6th overall,  will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday, February 11, at 9  PM EST on PBS (and simulcast on CNN), and streaming live on Youtube. PBS has partnered with Facebook, so undecided voters were invited to submit questions via the social-media site, and “during the debate, NewsHour will incorporate live Facebook data into the conversation.”

According to MSNBC, the average donation was $34 per contributor. Not only that, but Sander’s released his second campaign ad, which is being widely lauded.

Hilary Clinton’s campaign, on the other hand, seems to need a shot in the arm, after a narrow victory in the Iowa Caucus and a blowout defeat in New Hampshire. After losing in most of the demographics in New Hampshire, Clinton needs a strong showing in the debate to keep her campaign on track.

The event at the University of Wisconsin will be moderated by PBS “NewsHour” anchors Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff. According to a press release from Beth Hoppe, chief programming executive and general manager of programming at said of the moderators, “We are proud that PBS stations will broadcast this Democratic candidate debate at such a critical time in the election cycle — on the heels of the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary — and there are no better journalists to moderate than Gwen and Judy.”

During the 2015 MTV VMAs, it looked like Kanye West and Taylor Swift had made up. She presented him with the Vanguard Award, she talked about how great he was, and the two even awkwardly hugged. It looked like they had come a long way since West went crazy during her Best Female Video acceptance speech in 2009. It was definitely a cringe-worthy, “WTF dude” moment, but it looked like the beef was finally over.

However, in his new song “Famous,” things get a little murky. The Internet is already blasting the rapper for supposedly “attacking” with the lyric, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that b*tch famous.” Celebs have also voiced their disapproval.

One of the first was Orange Is the New Black star Ruby Rose, who hung out with Swift on New Year’s Eve.

However, according to TMZ, West called Swift to tell her about the mention beforehand.

Sources directly connected with Swift tell TMZ Kanye called her to explain it was a joke and wanted to make sure she wouldn’t be upset. We’re told Swift said she got the joke and gave him the thumbs up to release the song with the lyric.

Swift has yet to comment, but her brother is already taking a stand.

West has since went crazy on Twitter about the accusations, because, of course he did.

Police are reporting there has been a double shooting at Independence High School in Glendale, Arizona. The school is currently on lockdown.

ABC Phoenix is reporting that there are two victims–one of whom is dead. Fox claims that the victims “may be teenagers.” The NY Daily News claims that both victims are female sophomores.

It is no longer an active shooting scene and police have surrounded the school with crime scene tape and Glendale Arizona Police Officers.

Just before 8:00 AM this morning, officers responded to two teens that had suffered gunshot wounds on the Independence High School campus. This occurred in an isolated area of campus. This was not any sort of active shooter incident and there is no danger to the school or community at this time. The school is currently on lockdown and parents cannot get to the campus. They are being asked to wait at WalMart at 75th Avenue and Glendale. At this time, we are not provided the names or conditions of the victims

The 2016 Grammy Awards will be on February 15, 2016, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. In 2012, he was also in The Company You Keep as Ben Shepard, a film about a former Weather Underground activist who goes on the run from the one who has discovered his identity.In 2013, he was actually supposed to be making his Broadway debut in Lyle Kessler’s play Orphans, but backed out because of creative differences with co-star Alec Baldwin. He was still able to star in the film Charlie Countryman, however, as the main character of the same name, who falls for a Romanian whose unreachable heart is still involved with her violent and charismatic ex-boyfriend.

2014

In 2014, LaBeouf starred in the war drama Fury alongside Brad Pitt and Logan Lerman, as Boyd Swan. The film focuses on the Allies as they make their final push in the European Theatre where Army sergeant  Wardaddy commands a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Wardaddy and his men make many heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany. In 2014, LaBeouf also also starred as himself in the 3 minute short titled after his own name. In it, we can choirs, classical musicians, dancers, aerialists, and performers of all kind perform live on a stage while Rob Cantor narrates a brutal scene about you, the viewer, being stalked through the woods by a blood-soaked and cannibalistic Shia LaBeouf.

In 2015, LaBeouf took a turn and worked with a London Art School on a student project. The 31 minute video, which took place at Central Saint Martins, was titled #INTRODUCTIONS. The role of LaBeouf was to read transcripts that students sent to him. One of the transcripts depicts LaBeouf screaming the words “DO IT!” at various points, which is where the internet sensation vid has come from. In 2015, he also made his music video debut and starred in Sia’s music video for “Elastic Heart” along with Dance Mom’s star Maddie Ziegler.

Only a month into 2016, LaBeouf has yet to be seen on-screen, but is currently in post-production for the film American Honey, a comedy about a teenage girl who joins a traveling magazine sales crew, and gets caught up in a whirlwind of hard partying. His current net worth stands at $25 million, but as it is still early in 2016, there is still time for an increase.

Ty Laporte, a senior at Ole Miss University and a dual-varsity athlete who ran track and played volleyball, died tragically in a car accident on the night of Friday, February 12th.

The 23-year-old was majoring in integrated marketing communications. Her volleyball stats tell us that Ty was an absolute monster on the court. According to Ole Miss’s official website:

On the volleyball court, Laporte finished her four-year Rebel career in the fall ranked third all-time in block assists with 280 and third all-time in total blocks with 334. She also ranks fifth all-time in kills with 999.

In addition to being an invaluable member of both teams, Laporte also achieved in the classroom. She was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2014 and 2015 and a member of the UMAA Honor Roll.

The 2016 Grammy Awards will be on February 15, 2016, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The ceremony will recognize the best recordings, compositions and artists of the eligibility year, which will run from October 1, 2014, to September 30, 2015. LL Cool J will host for the fifth straight year.

Unlike previous years, where it was held on a Sunday, the 2016 ceremony will be held on a Monday for the first time to take advantage of the U.S. Presidents’ Day long weekend. The ceremony will be televised in the United States by CBS. Nominations for the 58th Grammy Awards ceremony were announced on December 7, 2015. Kendrick Lamar received the most nominations with 11. For the latter, he went on to pass Eminem as the rapper with the most nominations in a single night. Taylor Swift and The Weeknd received seven nominations each. Producer Max Martin received the most nominations for a non-performing artist, with six.

Ty Laporte, a 23-year-old student athlete at Ole Miss University, died last night in a car crash near Holly Springs. According to WTVA, Laporte pulled into the path of an oncoming 18-wheeler freightliner. Troopers responded to the crash at the intersection of Highway 7 and U.S. Highway 72 at approximately 8:40 PM.

Ty was a senior majoring in integrated marketing communications. She was also a dual-varsity athlete in both volleyball and track.

Reaction To Ty’s Death

“We are shocked and deeply saddened by Ty’s death,” said Ole Miss Athletics Director Ross Bjork. “Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, her teammates, coaches and our staff during this difficult time.  Everyone in the Ole Miss family offers our deepest sympathy to everyone who was touched by Ty’s amazing and infectious spirit.”

‪”This is another tragic loss for our campus community and especially our student-athletes, their coaches and administration,” said ‪Brandi Hephner LaBanc, vice chancellor for student affairs. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Ty’s family, teammates and friends.”

Additionally, many of Ty’s peers, teammates and friends have voiced their sadness online.

In the world of track, Ty ranks ninth in Ole Miss history in the outdoor high jump. Chances are that she would have done much better in the Spring season.

It’s like the start of a zombie movie. At Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA, all classes have been cancelled from Thursday into Friday due to a mystery illness that’s sweeping the campus.

The illness, which has been politely described as a “gastrointestinal ailment,” is characterized by diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Students have taken to calling it the “Ursinus Plague.”

According to ABC 6 Action News, a total of 185  students have contacted the student health center since the illness started working its way through the school’s population a couple days ago. In an effort to determine the source, the campus’s dining hall was temporarily closed to allow the Montgomery County Health Department (MCHD) to  investigate.

“It is unknown at this time whether the illness is food-borne or transmitted by person-to-person contact,” reported a statement released by the college.

Students are reminded to wash their hands and avoid any sort of contact with other people whatsoever. Classes will resume Monday—you know, unless those afflicted start getting a hankering for human flesh.

In a desperate plea for millennial support, Whole Foods is making plans to get hipsters on their side with a bold move: alongside wet kale and freshly made guacamole, you’ll also have the opportunity to brand yourself. Literally.

The astronomically priced supermarket chain is planning on opening a more affordable version complete with a tattoo parlor and record store. So not only can you get that puke-colored green juice you’re always sucking down, but you can also get the exact cup tattooed on your arm while picking up The Smiths in vinyl. Hipsters, rejoice.

Called Whole Foods 365, the company wants to “partner with start-ups as well as established brands across a variety of categories to help enhance the 365 experience,” according to their website.

While no vendors have been named yet, we have big hopes, considering the stores are directly aimed towards millennials and we have impeccably high standards.

Whole Foods announced last year that it would open a separate chain aimed atMillennials that’s more focused on convenience and lower prices. The strategic shift comes as Whole Foods has lost market share in the organic, fresh and natural grocery space because those kinds of products have become more available at mainstream grocery chains.

The first store will be opened in Los Angeles in May.

For anyone who started lighting up before 16, you may be doomed – according to science.

A recent study published in the journal of Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience concluded that taking up marijuana before the age of 16 could harm growth in the part of your brain that helps with decision-making and self-control. Somehow… this makes a lot of sense.

Researchers at the University of Texas at Dallas’s Center for Brain Health found results after scanning the heads of 42 frequent marijuana users ages 21-50. Twenty-two of them said that they had smoked before age 16, while everyone else started after 19.

According to Cosmopolitan, preteen pot smokers were linked to fewer key markers of normal brain development, specifically, in the prefrontal cortex — the seat of our willpower, focus, and planning skills.

Similar information was published in an online article by JAMA Internal Medicine. This study showed that people who smoked regularly as teens remembered fewer words as they entered middle age. According to CNN, their findings also found that marijuana use was associated with poor verbal memory and processing speed, and only worsens with lifetime exposure. For every five years of marijuana use, verbal memory grows less and less, and constant users have actually had the largest decline in IQ scores.

Luckily, there’s at least a few things you can do to reverse some of the effects:
1. Take up exercising to help direct blood flow back to the decision-making centers in your brain.

2. Make sure you’re eating enough, because being hungry sets you up for self-control inability; plus, studies have shown that having breakfast everyday can be the key to curbing the act of impulsiveness.

3. Don’t give a f*ck… that seems to get the job done.

As we’ve just learned from Colombian models Yeimi and Claudia Rey, the world of Latina models can get pretty cutthroat. The two sisters have been accused by police of kidnapping and torturing another model, Carolina Munoz. Yeimi was caught yesterday after trying to fly out of Bogota into Miami.

According to Yeimi and Claudia Rey, Carolina created a couple of fake social media accounts and then posted photos of the two sisters before they had plastic surgery online. Carolina admits that she did this, but only because the Rey sisters had written disparaging remarks about her online.

That’s when Yeimi and Claudia took things a little too far. According to Carolina:

They bundled her into a car and: ‘They bit me, tortured me, they pulled my hair, cut off my clothes, they left me bald, they electrocuted me.

They told me they were going to kill me, that they knew very powerful people and wouldn’t be sent to jail, that I was the one who would end up losing and next time they will throw acid on my face and destroy my life.’

Furthermore, the two sisters are accused of robbing Carolina and then posting naked photos of her online anyways.

I don’t want to involve myself in a situation where I don’t know all the facts, but I’m going to do it anyways because that’s what I do here at COED. So here it goes:

I’m firmly on the side of Yeimi and Claudia here. Not because they’re hands down better looking than Carolina, but because they’re just better than Carolina at everything they do. Carolina wants to start post pre-surgery pictures? Fine. Yeimi and Claudia will just  kidnap you, torture you, leave you bald, threaten to destroy your face with acid, rob you, dump you naked on the side of the road and then post your nudes.
