The funeral service for George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States of America, will be held today at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. at 11 p.m. EST. Bush served as President of the United States from 1989 to 1993. Due to today’s funeral service, today has been declared a National Day of Mourning.

President Bush passed away in the early hours of Saturday, December 1, at the age of 94-years-old. His wife of 73 years, Barbara Bush, previously passed away on April 17, 2018, at the age of 92-years-old.

Presidents Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and Bush’s son George W. Bush are all expected to be in attendance. In addition to American politicians, various world leaders such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Prince Charles of Wales, and Jordan’s King Abdullah II are all expected to be in attendance as well.

In addition to being the 41st President of the United States of America, Bush served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States from 1981 to 1989, and was a congressman, an ambassador, and the Director of Central Intelligence during his many decades of public service.

Following the 11 a.m. EST service, a departure ceremony will begin at the Washington National Cathedral at 12:30 p.m. before another departure ceremony takes place at 1:15 p.m. at Joint Base Andrews.

After today’s services, President Bush’s remains will be flown to Ellington Field in Houston, Texas.

Fynn Arthur has been identified as the 21-year-old Goucher College student who allegedly drew swastikas and wrote racially motivated threats targeting black students on the school’s campus in November 2018.

According to the Baltimore County Police department, Arthur was charged with two counts of malicious destruction of property on Friday, November 30.

Then, on Wednesday, December 5, Arthur was hit with additional charges, including two counts of bias-instigated destruction of property and two counts of animosity-instigated harassment/destruction of property.

The charges stem from a November incident that saw Arthur spread racially motivated graffiti and threats across the school’s campus. On Wednesday, November 14, Goucher College officials notified the Baltimore County Police Department of racially charged graffiti that was found around campus.

The threats and graffiti — which was later discovered to be written by Arthur — were found in a bathroom stall and in three dorm rooms occupied by African American students.

“The students in those rooms were interviewed at the time, and none could provide any suspect information or motive for the graffiti. One of those students was Arthur,” police said in a statement.

The day after the interviews, another student reported seeing more racist graffiti in another bathroom stall along with the names of four black students, the statement said.

“Let us be clear — we view these incidents as hate crimes,” the school said last week. “These acts of hate have consumed our community, and we feel strongly that the suspect should receive the strongest charges, which reflect the seriousness of these crimes.”

Arthur has since been banned from the Goucher College campus. At this time, it is not clear whether he has hired an attorney. Furthermore, it is not clear when he is due back in court.

Goucher College is a small, private liberal arts college located in Towson, Maryland that has approximately 1,500 undergraduate students.

Cuban Doll, whose real name is Aaliyah Keef, is a social media influencer and someone who you can always spot on social media showcasing their life. Cuban Doll has also ventured into singing throughout her career.

In recent months, it has been reported that Cuban Doll was having a fling with Migos rapper Offset which ultimately led to a split with Cardi B.

It looks like Cuban Doll’s former best friend leaked a series of texts from Offset texting one of her friends and trying to set up the sex romp. Apparently, Offset hoped to get Cuban Doll and another woman to meet him but Cuban had a show in Milwaukee and couldn’t make it. Then, Offset offered to fly the women to meet him in Atlanta. The kicker here is that his wife, Cardi, was pregnant with baby Kulture at the time. Adding to the mess, the ex-friend posted images of a Facetime call between Offset and Cuban, tagging Cardi B in the Instagram posts just to egg on the drama as it were. Offset attempted to clear up things by saying via his Instagram story, “I never tried to convo with you hoes cap cap cap. Leave me and my fam out the cap. Busted ass hoes with no bag. Good on the thots.”

A homeless man is being praised after turning in $17,000 in cash. He found the bag outside of the food bank.

Kevin Booth, 32, found the money outside the Sumner Food Bank in Sumner, Washington, in August. He, reportedly, pulled out a $20 bill and smelled it to ensure if it was real. Booth had not checked the exact amount of money in the bag.

When an employee of the food bank came into work, he turned it into her. The food bank then turned over the bag to the police. They kept it for 90 days, but no one came to claim it.

Later, the police found Booth and told him exactly how much was in the bag. He had told, Puyallup Herald, “I just about fainted. I’ve never touched that much money, and I don’t think I ever will again,” He then added.

“There are a lot of people who would have taken it. ‘I’m just not that person.”

The money had not been claimed, so the police gave it back to the food bank. The food bank plans to use the funds to expand the building. They also rewarded Booth, though they did not disclose how much.

Booth was also awarded a citizen certificate by the Sumner Police Department.

Booth regularly stops by the food bank to pick up food from their breadbox. He has been homeless on and off for the past seven years. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Booth and has so far raised over $1,000.

A post on the page revealed that Booth had a tumor removed from his brain when he was 18. After the surgery, he was left partially mentally handicapped.

A commenter on the GoFundMe Page summarizes it well: “When a young man who is mentally insufficient to provide for himself has the amount of cash (in his hand could literally turn his life around) and uses it to feed others what else can u say LOVE means than something like this??”

After nine years off the air, NBC’s hit reality television game show series Deal Or No Deal is returning to CNBC for a 2018 reboot!

The reboot, which premieres at 8 p.m. EST on Wednesday, December 5, sees actor/comedian Howie Mandel returning as host. In addition to Mandel, the 2018 reboot sees the inclusion of 26 all-new case-holding models.

The 2018 version of Deal Or No Deal is slightly different than the previous iteration. In the 2018 reboot, the contestant is given one opportunity during the game to present a counteroffer after receiving an offer from the Banker. If the Banker accepts the counteroffer, the contestant can choose to take the money and end the game, or continue playing. However, if the Banker rejects the counteroffer, the contestant is forced to continue the game.

Additionally, the CNBC version features a female Banker, while the original NBC version featured a male Banker.

We’ve all heard it before: Die Hard is a Christmas movie and yada, yada, yada. Frankly, it doesn’t really matter, as the spirit of Christmas is what you make it. Whether you enjoy the holiday because of the food, the family, the gifts, or Bruce Willis’ bald head, that’s your prerogative.

What’s far more interesting is not whether you consider something a Christmas movie or not, but which one you consider your favorite.

For example, good ol’ Kentucky has chosen Elf as their favorite Christmas movie, a reasonable selection by all accounts. Delaware went for A Christmas Story, another classic choice. Tennessee reps A Christmas Carol, while North Dakota loves Home Alone. Par for the course, right? Right.

But then there are states like Texas, who enjoys cozying up by a fire and watching … Gremlins (?) during the holiday season. Or Florida, who loves to throw on … Batman Returns?

Look, I have no problem with someone considering something a Christmas movie, but putting Gremlins and Batman Returns over the likes of Home Alone and Elf just warps my brain.

Christmas should be about family, not about Danny DeVito being squeezed into a rotting penguin suit.

Authorities in Woburn, Massachusettes, are currently responding to the Kennedy Middle School after reports of a student being stabbed inside of a classroom. Early reports indicate that a sixth-grade student stabbed another student with a steak knife.

Police are currently on the scene investigating the incident. At this time, while the extent of the student’s injuries was not immediately known, some reports indicate that when police arrived on the scene, they found a student suffering from a minor stab wound to the hand.

Additionally, it is not clear how many victims there are. Furthermore, it is not clear whether the victim and suspect are male or female. The stabbing was reported by a teacher at the school around 8 a.m. local time.

The school has been placed on lockdown while the police department investigates the incident. Early reports indicate that the weapon used in the stabbing was a steak knife. It’s unclear if the suspect has been placed into custody.

Following the stabbing, students are being kept in their homerooms and emergency personnel have responded to the area.

Woburn is a city in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, that is located about 9 miles north of Boston and has a population of approximately 40,000 people.

No further information was immediately provided by police.

The stabbing at Kennedy Middle School in Woburn, Massachusettes, is just the latest in a string of violence-related incidents — stabbings, shootings, lockdowns, bomb threats, etc — that have plagued our nation’s schools over the last couple of years.

If we were to keep a list of famous women we would NOT want to mess with, Cardi B would certainly be near the top. In fact, she’d probably be our #1 choice. Straight out of The Bronx and as much of a loose cannon as they come, Cardi B just strikes us as someone whose good side you want to stay on.

However, it seems that Instagram “model” Summer Bunni doesn’t agree, as she has been outed as the girl who was sleeping with Cardi’s husband, Offset.

Recently, Cardi and Offset announced they will be splitting up, and rumors seem to indicate that Offset’s relationship with Bunni is the main reason why.

Summer Bunni released the following brief statement on Instagram to address her involvement in the Cardi B/Offset situation:

“Goodmorning, a quick letter to the fans, followers, and social media outlets.

During this last 48 hours, I haven’t enjoyed the social media frenzy. Not only is it draining, but humbling. I will always be woman enough to admit when I’m wrong, and in this situation, I was. Seeing another woman’s pain does not bring me joy, nor do I think it’s funny.

I’ve always been for women supporting each other but in this situation, not only myself but others have failed. I separated myself from certain situations and people for a reason. This is not a letter for sympathy but acknowledgment to everyone whom has questions Going in 2019 focused and dedicated to becoming a better me.”

In addition to her written apology on Instagram, Bunni also recorded the following video apology, saying she didn’t know “how serious” Offset’s marriage was:

Given what we know about Cardi B, an apology seems like a wise decision from Summer Bunni.

Elissa Ennis, 28, is the woman who has accused 24-year-old Washington Redskins linebacker Reuben Foster of domestic assault.

According to reports, the Tampa Police Department was called to the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Tampa on Saturday, November 24, to investigate Ennis’ domestic violence complaint. Reuben, who was playing for the San Fransisco 49ers at the time, was in Tampa as the 49ers were scheduled to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the following day.

The criminal report states that Ennis alleges that after a heated verbal argument, Foster “slapped her phone out of her hand, pushed her in the chest area and slapped her with an open hand on the right side of her face.”

While investigating, authorities observed an “inch-long scratch on the side of Ennis’s left collarbone.” Foster was taken into police custody and was later released on $2,000 bail.

However, despite being released from the San Fransisco 49ers due to the alleged assault, Foster was claimed off waivers by the Washington Redskins, a move that Ennis is calling a “slap in the face.”

Foster had gotten physical with her three times before, she said. Twice she called police, and another time — in October — the neighbors called, she said.

Ennis and Foster had previously lived together and were involved in an on-and-off relationship for several years, Tampa police said. In February, Foster was arrested at his home in Los Gatos, California, near San Jose, on the suspicion that he battered Ennis, who initially told police that he hit her at least 10 times, dragged her out of the house, threw her on the ground, spit on her, broke her phone and threw their bulldog on her, according to the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Department.

Ennis later told a judge during a court hearing that she concocted the story in an attempt to ruin Foster’s career as part of a “money scheme” to try to “sue him on [her] own,” and the domestic violence charges were dismissed. Foster did plead no contest to a weapons charge, which had been reduced to a misdemeanor, and he was sentenced to 232 hours of community service and was placed on two years of probation and barred from possessing any guns or ammunition.

After he was picked up by the Washington Redskins, Foster was placed on the Commissioner Exempt list, meaning he will not be able to practice, play in or attend games.

Margaret Gieszinger, a teacher at University Preparatory High School in Visalia, California, was arrested after forcibly cutting a student’s hair in her class while belting out The Star Spangled Banner on Wednesday, December 5.

Gieszinger was later arrested on suspicion of corporal injury to a child with her bail set at $100,000, according to the Daily Mail.

What Happened?

An Instagram video shows Margaret Gieszinger, 52, demands a student to sit down for an unwanted haircut while she belts out the national anthem and dramatically tossed the chunk of hair behind her.

According to KFSN-TV, it was first period inside Gieszinger’s chemistry class while a bizarre chain of events taking off. Students said the teacher came into class with a pair of scissors declaring it was “haircut day.”

“We think she’s going to try to be funny and be like ‘Oh did you really think I was going to cut his hair?’ But she did cut a hair off, and she started singing the Star Spangled Banner and she was singing it really loudly as she ceremoniously tossed a chunk of hair behind her,” a student who wanted to remain anonymous told KFSN.

The student then ran to the school’s main office to get help.

College of the Sequoias police responded to the classroom after receiving a report of child endangerment involving a teacher and a “pair of scissors,” police chief Kevin Mizner told the Visalia Times-Delta.

The arrest followed two videos posted to social media showed Gieszinger chasing students in the classroom while singing the national anthem. In one clip, a male student is seen sitting in a chair at the front of the classroom as Gieszinger cuts off his hair.

When the student tries to get up and walk back to his desk, Gieszinger says: “You’re not done.”

She is also seen approaching a female student and appearing to grab a chunk of her hair to cut.

Other students in the class scream and run out of the room as Gieszinger continues singing the national anthem.

“I hope I never have to see her at the school again because I know for a fact I can never see her as a respectable authority figure in my life,” the student added.

Principal Eric Thiessen has confirmed Wednesday afternoon that all students are safe.

Who Is Margaret Gieszinger?

Gieszinger of Exeter is a science teacher at University Preparatory High School in Visalia, California. She was captured on two Instagram videos showing her cutting off a male student’s hair and grabbing another female student’s hair to cut while singing the national anthem.

Students claimed they don’t know what triggered her behavior but say she had a similar breakdown earlier this week.

“I know that on Monday she had another freak out because a test is missing or something. She accused of the students of taking the test,” a student said.

Lilli Gates, one of Gieszinger’s students, told the Times-Delta that the incident is out of character for the teacher.

“When everything was going on I was terrified, and I so badly wanted to blame her. I was scared she was going to come back,” Gates said. “What she did to my classmates and I is inexcusable. I am not trying to make excuses for her. I simply ask everyone to reconsider how they view her. She is a loving and kind lady. She is usually all smiles and laughs. The Commission of Teacher Credentialing confirmed Gieszinger’s credential was suspended in 2007 and 2016, the Times-Delta reported.

Each suspension lasted 14 days, but it was unclear why her credentials were suspended on those occasions.

For some time now, Jake Gyllenhaal has been one of — if not the — best (American) actors in Hollywood, especially amongst the younger “movie star” A-Listers such as Ryan Gosling, Robert Downey Jr., Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, James Franco, Chris Pratt, Chris Evans, etc.

Plus, the dude is just offensively handsome, so not only does he have the talent, but he’s got the looks too. And now — in addition to being both rich, talented, and good-looking — he’s joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a coup for any A-List actor these days.

During the course of his career, Gyllenhaal has been hesitant to jump into tentpole franchises (other than 2010’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time). However, as a Batman fan, I always held out hope that he was waiting for the Cape & Cowl of the Dark Knight to become available. And given the news that Affleck was leaving the role of Bruce Wayne, I thought Gyllenhaal was a lock.

Despite my hopes, not only did Gyllenhaal opt to choose Marvel over DC, but he chose to play a villain over playing a hero, as he was cast as Mysterio in the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home. At least we think he chose to…

While nothing official (other than the release date) has been released yet, some (presumably illegally shot) set videos show Gyllenhaal in his full Mysterio outfit & lookin’ pretty damn authentic if I do say so myself.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released in theaters on July 5, 2019.

Fentress County Jail

Jennifer Choate, a 38-year-old Fentress County elementary school teacher, has been arrested for allegedly showing up to her job at the school while intoxicated.

What Happened?

According to the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office, officers were called to the York Elementary School in Jamestown, Tenessee around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, due to reports that Chaote was acting irregularly.

When the York Elementary School principal and a Fentress County Sheriff’s deputy went to Choate’s classroom, it was reported that she “appeared unsteady on her feet and smelled of alcohol.”

WATE reports that while Choate denied drinking any alcohol, the arrest report says she performed “poorly on an eye exam and agreed to submit to a breathalyzer test.” She subsequently blew a .153 on the breath test, more than twice the legal limit, and was charged with public intoxication.

What Was She Charged With?

Choate was arrested and taken to the Jamestown Police Department, where she allegedly admitted drinking alcohol the night before and again around 4 a.m. that morning. She has since been charged with public drunkenness.

Has This Happened Before?

Choate is certainly not the first teacher to be arrested for public intoxication while teaching, as there have been many similar incidents in recent years.

Melanie Bullard, a 39-year-old Georgia kindergarten teacher, was arrested in March 2017 after school officials found her drunk in class with a loaded gun in her purse. Also in March of 2017, substitute teacher Judith Elizabeth Richards-Gartee was arrested for reportedly being so intoxicated that she puked on the floor.

Similarly, Alabama high school teacher Mae Gladys Edwards and Louisiana teacher Shannon R. Beran were arrested for similar instances of public intoxication.

Hamilton County Jail

Charlene Thompson, 61, is a Cincinnati woman that was arrested for dumping hot oil on another person during an argument.

According to the Mt. Airy police department, Thompson allegedly attacked another woman with hot grease during an argument on Sunday, December 2, at a residence in the 5100 block of Hawaiian Terrace. Following her arrest, she was booked into the Hamilton County jail in Ohio.

Court records indicate that the unidentified victim was left with severe burns on her back and arms following the alleged attack.

Thompson has since been charged charges of felonious assault and was scheduled to be arraigned on the morning of Wednesday, December 5.

She was previously wanted on two outstanding warrants for criminal damaging or endangering, court records show.

Thompson has an extensive criminal history, including charges of assault and other crimes in March 2008 after police said she punched a victim in the face.

She was also charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated in 2008, but that charge was dismissed. Later that year, Thompson was accused of kicking a police officer in Cincinnati and spitting on an officer during an incident in July 2008, according to a criminal complaint.

In August 2007, Thompson was convicted of criminal trespass after police said she entered an assisted living facility without authorization and assaulted a resident. She was also charged with assault, but that charge was dropped as part of a plea agreement, court records show.

And in 2006, Thompson was hit with domestic violence charges for allegedly striking her daughter on Christmas Eve, but that charge was also dismissed months later, WXIX reports.

The presiding judge ordered Thompson to stay away from the victim and have no further contact with her.

Marvel Studios has gone ahead and dropped a pop cultural bomb on Planet Earth by releasing the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame, which is arguably the most highly anticipated move in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While the trailer is light on plot, it sets the stage for the mindset of the remaining heroes such as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and the rest of the game. Additionally, rumors indicate that Avengers: Endgame may pick up “5 to 10 years” after the events of Infinity War, which would be jarring to, say the least.

The movie will star Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Benedict Cumberbatch, and more. At the time of its release, it will be the 22nd film in the 11-year old Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Avengers: Endgame, the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War is due out in theaters on May 3, 2019. It is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Infinity War.

The movie will be preceded by Captain Marvel and will be followed up by Spider-Man: Far From Home.

After a long (and possibly delayed) wait, Marvel Studios has finally released the title and trailer for the upcoming Avengers movie, Avengers: Endgame, on the morning of Friday, December 7.

Given how Avengers: Infinity War ended, Avengers: Endgame is arguably the most highly anticipated move in the history of the MCU.

While the trailer was considerably light on plot, there were some hints and Easter Eggs crammed in there, so we did our best to break them all down below.

So, did that trailer tell us anything substantial? Well, not really.

We knew Tony Stark was stranded in space, we knew that the remaining heroes on Earth were defeated, and we knew that Thanos was JC at his celestial summer house. Sure, Scott Lang returning could be considered a “surprise” based on how Ant-Man and The Wasp ended, but everyone who is really an MCU fan knew it was only a matter of time before he popped back up.
