New surveillance footage shows Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt physically assaulting a 19-year-old woman in a hotel hallway.

The video was recorded in a hallway at The Metropolitan at the 9 in Cleveland, Ohio at 3:22 AM on February 10, 2018.

The original incident report indicates that while police were called to the scene the night of the incident, no arrests were made.

In the video, Hunt is seen aggressively arguing with an unidentified 19-year-old woman outside of his hotel room at The Metropolitan at the 9 in Cleveland, Ohio.

After turning the corner, Hunt confronts and shoves the young woman. The woman then retaliates by hitting Hunt in the face, which further aggravates him.

Despite attempts by friends to hold him back, Hunt shoves them into the wall before kicking the young woman.

Hunt, 23, was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round of the 2017 Draft. During his rookie season, he led the NFL in rushing yards.

The NFL has yet to fine or suspend Hunt because of this incident. However, now that there is video evidence of the assault, the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs are going to be forced to revisit the issue.

Ariana Grande has released the official, Mean Girls-inspired video for her hit single “thank u, next”.

The video takes its inspiration from a handful of early 2000’s modern cult-classics, such Mean Girls — which starred Lindsey Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Tina Fey, and Amanda Seyfried — 13 Going On 30Bring It Home, and Legally Blonde.

“thank u, next” — the lead single off of Grande’s upcoming studio album Thank U, Next — was first released on November 3 without any prior promotion from Grande.

At this time, there is no word when the full Thank U, Next album — Ariana’s fifth — will be released.  The album is a follow-up to her fourth studio album, 2018’s Sweetener.

The Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity chapter at AEPi is set to be removed from campus by officials following accusations of misuse, poor conduct, and sexual assault.

According to reports, the Temple University police department open an investigation into the fraternity’s behavior following several reports of sexual assault by students at fraternity social events.

Furthermore, one unidentified student reported feeling disoriented after having a drink at the fraternity before waking up with one of the fraternity’s members.

The removal of Alpha Epsilon Pi at Temple University is the latest major Greek life suspension, expulsion, disaffiliation, or overhaul in the last year, as schools such as Indiana University, the University of Michigan, Ohio State University, Texas State, Florida State, Ball State, Louisiana State, and Penn State have all suspended fraternities for various reasons.

In a statement, Christopher Carey, the Senior Dean of Students at Temple University, said that at this time, the organization is not recognized “from a university standpoint.”

The fraternity was originally suspended in April after “multiple credible reports” of various illegal activities, including sexual assault, underage drinking and drug usage.

Fraternities have been suspended or expelled across the nation as Greek life organizations and universities attempt to grapple with the pitfalls of hazing, alcohol and drug abuse, and sexual assault.

Schools such as Indiana University, the University of Michigan, Ohio State University, Texas State, Florida State, Ball State, Louisiana State, and Penn State have all suspended or expelled fraternities for various reasons.

Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder

Twitter

Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury put on a show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, December 1. The heavyweights clashed for Wilder’s WBC heavyweight championship, but ultimately neither fighter was able to come away with the win.

The end result of the epic 12-round war was a split draw, which left Wilder retaining his title.

But despite the anti-climactic ending, the bout was not short of drama.

Throughout the fight, Fury, who was the taller and quicker fighter, appeared to be in control. However, as the fight went on, Wilder was able to find a home for his punches and began landing devastating shots.

As a result of two of his big shots, he scored two knockdowns.

In the 12th and final round, Wilder landed a shot that was so devastating that it appeared Fury was out cold. Fury was laid out flat on his back with his hands outstretched at his sides. But somehow, Fury was able to regain his wits and surprise the entire crowd when he returned to his feet.

Here is a look at the blow that seemingly everyone believed put Fury away.

The judges ultimately scored the fight 115-111 for Wilder, 114-110 for Fury, and 113-113. Without the late knockdowns, Wilder would have certainly dropped his title.

Carla Stefaniak poses for a selfie on Facebook before her disappearance in Costa Rica

Facebook

Carla Stefaniak, a woman from Florida who was celebrating her 36th birthday in Costa Rica, has gone missing. Stefaniak’s disappearance comes after she sent concerning messages to family members after the power at her Airbnb went out. Carla texted her sister-in-law April Burton that the place was “sketchy.”

Carla and April had been in Costa Rica together, but April flew home early. Carla then checked into her 1:00 p.m. flight home, but never showed up to the airport, according to the Daily Mail.

Members of Stefaniak’s family have traveled to Costa Rica in an effort to work with local authorities to find their sister. She has not posted online since her disappearance on November 28 and has not had any online activity since approximately 9:00 p.m. the night before.

From the report:

According to family spokesperson Katie Gardner, Carla texted her brother’s wife updates and photos throughout the afternoon until she got back to the Airbnb.

‘Last time we heard from her was 11/27 around 8pm when she said it was raining crazy and power went out,’ April said in an Instagram post in a desperate plea to find her sister-in-law.

‘She continued with ”It’s pretty sketchy here,”’ April said.

April then said she texted Carla to wish her a happy birthday at midnight but received no response.

Here is what we know.

What Happened?

Carla Stefaniak was in Costa Rica celebrating her 36th birthday before failing to show up at the airport for her flight home. Stefaniak’s family has not heard from her since the night before her disappearance and she had never responded to any messages wishing her a happy birthday.

According to an Uber driver, Airbnb host and security guards, Carla left her Airbnb early in the morning with her luggage in an unknown vehicle.

“The Uber driver arrived around 8:00 a.m. to pick up Stefaniak but could not find her,” family spokesperson Katie Gardner said. “However, her family says the story does not make sense since her flight was not until that afternoon and the airport was only 30 minutes away.”

“I cant believe its been found – We are so so happy,” John wrote. “Thank you @NYPDnews dropping you a DM now!”

Daniella added, “Thank you so much @NYPDnews and everyone for sharing and reuniting me with my ring! Proposal was in Central Park and fell off over the drain! Thought was gone forever! Can’t thank officers enough!”

It turned out to be a true fairy tale.

Thank you, Twitter. Case closed!

And what do you know, even the New York City Police Department officers who helped retrieve the ring are getting something out of the whole deal, with John promising some ice cold brews the next time the couple returns to New York.

“Gents, I cannot thank you enough, although I will try,” John wrote. “A few cold beers when we come back to NYC! We are completely overwhelmed and you will definitely get a mention at our wedding! Thank you again!”

Rafael Decomas mugshot after the FAU student was arrested for threatening a professor.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office

Rafael Decomas found himself under arrest after posting a threat on social media. According to a report from CBS 12, the 20-year-old Florida Atlantic University student took to Twitter and threatened to kill one of his professors over a test. Decomas was arrested on a charge of intimidation-send written threat to kill.

“Bey I gern f—ing kill dis professor bey this is my confession to a premeditated murder,” Decomas tweeted from an account named “@Ashelaniqua, Cutie Claus.”

FAU police then traced the account to Decomas, who was booked in Palm Beach County Jail before being released on $5,000 bond. Despite making the threat and his arrest, a report indicates Decomas said he never intended to harm anyone and that the tweet just came out of frustration.

From WPTV:

According to the report, Decomas told police he was upset that his data structure professor had schedule a final exam for 7 a.m. Because Decomas lives in Riviera Beach, police said he told them, he would have to wake up at 5 a.m.

“Decomas stated he did not intend to harm anyone and tweeted the post out of frustration,” the report said. “Decomas advised that he deleted the post soon after publishing it.”

Despite his “lack of intent,” Decomas will still face the charge.

Let this be another example to everyone that you should never put something on social media without completely thinking things through and considering the consequences.

Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office

Hanlin Majewski, an 18-year-old from St. Petersburg, was arrested over the weekend after making a school threat on social media, according to WFLA. The report states that the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office was contacted after Majewski posted a concerning message on Snapchat.

Majewski allegedly posted a photo of a young man with a handgun and black tactical vest with the caption “don’t come to school tomorrow.”

She was then arrested for threatening communications or threats of mass shootings.

When confronted, Majewski claimed she meant no harm by the message and that it was a fake gun — with police recovering the items in the Snapchat photo before determining the gun was, in fact, a fake.

From the report:

When deputies responded to Majewski’s home, they say she admitted she took the picture, typed the caption and posted it. She told deputies the 17-year-old boy in the picture was holding a fake gun and said she “meant no harm by posting the image.’ Deputies later identified the boy in the photo and contacted his parents, who said he does not have access to any weapons or firearms. Deputies recovered the tactical vest and airsoft BB gun that were seen in the Snapchat.

They learned he was playing with the BB gun just before Majewski took his picture.

Neither Majewski nor the boy who was photographed attends a traditional high school. Majewski is currently a student at Florida Virtual School, while the boy is homeschooled.

Earlier this weekend, a student at Florida Atlantic University, was arrested for posting a threat on social media when he took to Twitter to voice his frustration against a professor who issued a test in the early hours of the day. Remember, everyone, be smart about what you post on social media.

Ada Hegerberg, a 23-year-old soccer player for the Division 1 Féminine club Olympique Lyonnais, is the first ever woman to win the Ballon d’Or.

Hegerberg, a striker that was born on July 10, 1995, in  Molde, Norway, was awarded the first ever women’s Ballon d’Or in France on Monday, December 3. Prior to winning the Ballon d’Or, Hegerberg was already recognized as one of the best female soccer players on Earth, winning the 2016 UEFA Best Women’s Player in Europe Award and was named BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year in 2017.

Unfortunately, Hegerberg’s Ballon d’Or ceremony was hijacked by controversy, as the presenter, Martin Solveig, asked her to twerk on stage after giving her the award. The moment was truly horrid and presenter Martin Solveig has since been deemed a sexist by the court of public opinion.

To her credit, Hegerberg handled the moment like a true professional.

Martin Solveig really asked Ada Hegerberg, the first ever Ballon D'Or winner, to twerk. The absolute disrespect bruh. pic.twitter.com/Mtc5DBjS7a

In addition to playing for Olympique Lyonnais, Hegerbeg competes nationally for the Norwegian women’s national team. However, in the summer of 2017, Hegerberg decided to take a break from her international footballing duties.

College student takes final exam in class

It’s that time of year, finals are here. The season of cramming in study time, staying up till 3:00 AM, begging professors to up your grade to save your GPA. It’s like watching a horror movie come to life. Professors are now the villains to students. Students must find a back door to finding their solution to acing their final. And the front door is not an option for college students, because the front door is too hard to go through. The studying, the late nights, the long assignments are too hard to get done in such a little amount of time. We have some tips for you to make the front door a little less scary to go through during finals season.

Make A List

Been using planners obsessively since college and they were always small ones and I finally got a big one after my last one couldn’t close right from all the washi tape and stickers I stuck in it…

Anyways my obsession got deeper with this new one. pic.twitter.com/HZAojSrxhz

Take a few minutes and write down what you need to do and when you need to get it done by. Once you have everything down on paper, you start to realize the amount of work you must get done. Take the list and start with the assignments that you need to turn in first. It’s also nice crossing out something once had to do but are now finished with it. It’s calming and lowers the stress level because sometimes having all these things in your head can jumble up into something bigger than it is. Writing it down helps you see that you really don’t have that much work to do.

Eat Healthy & Hydrate

Is it even possible to eat healthy during the holidays? Yes! And you can do it without missing out or a lot of effort. Enjoy in moderation. Download the Holiday Healthy Eating Guide. https://t.co/n1PLwgW47w pic.twitter.com/VVRh5hFP1Q

— American Heart News (@HeartNews) December 2, 2018

A lot of students do a lot of stress eating, it’s a new found hobby for them. Food is fuel, it helps our minds think better, and our bodies work powerfully. Feeding your body, greasy chips and fast food will make your mind sluggish and not work the way you want it. Try protein bars, beef jerky, nuts, and fruit as a healthy snack when studying. You will see the change in mood and alertness when studying.

Sleep

As @OleMissRebels finals week is upon you try and remember to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep a night, eat well, take breaks, stay organized, and exercise. Stress doesn’t have to be a part of #FinalsWeek. pic.twitter.com/vYmellRkjx

— Oxford Police Dept (@OxfordPolice) December 2, 2018

Finals season is known to students as the season of no sleep. Students are staying up in all hours of the night trying to get their final assignments done or studying the last few chapters before the morning exam. But, what students don’t know is getting a good night of sleep help you retain information and relax you before an exam. But, if you are worried because you didn’t study the last chapter, at least get a few hours of sleep rather than none.

Use Supportive Resources

ASU has several options for tutoring. Here's everything you need to know:https://t.co/9ooPatLvL0 pic.twitter.com/gxkrJLBOFZ

— Culture@ASU (@CultureASU) December 2, 2018

There are two places to get support, both provide two different types of support. One, a support system of your family and friends. The ones who can tell you how good you will do on your exam or who will read through your assignment and tell you what you need to fix. Second, school resources. Go get tutoring, go to peers, professors for help in what you specifically need to study for. IF you are nervous about going to professors or tutoring, know they want to help you succeed not push you down to fail. Everyone will do their best to help you.

Take Breaks

For the love of God! Take a break! It doesn’t have to be a long one, it could be 5 minutes. Take a second to yourself and recollect yourself. If you need to take a 15-minute nap to recharge your batteries. No matter how long the break is, it’s something that helps clear your head and restart you for the next assignment on the list.
