Angle is back, baby! He announces a battle of the giants tonight between Big Cass and Big Show. Plus, we have a monster triple threat main event later tonight. But then… Out comes WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and his manager Paul Heyman.

Heyman complains about Angle making a Fatal 4-Way for his client Lesnar at SummerSlam. He thinks Kurt is trying to stack the deck against Lesnar. If Brock loses this at SummerSlam then he will leave WWE along with Paul Heyman.

The Hardy Boyz vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Matt and Jeff kick some serious ass. Each Hardy controls both of their opponents. Matt looks like he’s about to tear Karl Anderson’s arm off. Corey Graves reports that Matt called Anderson “an obsolete mule.”

The Hardys knock their opponents out of the ring, and stand tall before we go to the commercial break.

Gallows is in control of Jeff as we return from the break. We see a clip showing Luke almost kicking Hardy’s head off. Gallows and Anderson work over Jeff, who fights back and tags in Matt. The #Broken Hardy takes control of Anderson until Gallows kicks him in the back of the head. Gallows & Anderson set up Matt for a Magic Killer, but Jeff intervenes. Gallows tries to fight Matt, but eats a Twist of Fate. Jeff gets the tag and hits the Swanton Bomb off the top rope for the win.

Post-Match: The Revival get into the face of The Hardy’s at the top of the entrance ramp. Both teams start brawling. Gallows & Anderson run down and join the fray. The Hardys are kicking ass once again. They take out Gallows. Then the Hardys charge Karl Anderson & Dash Wilder and knocks them off the stage. Both Hardys hit Twists of Fate on Scott Dawson. Matt goes down on all fours to create a bridge, Jeff charges, jumps off his mouth and onto the recovering Anderson & Wilder. Bad-ass!

This was a high-flying affair. Hats off to the members of the Cruiserweight division. After a back-and-forth match up, Tozawa, Alexander & Sawnn got the upperhand as they ran the ropes and flew out of the ring onto their opponents. Swann takes out TJP, and Tozawa seals the deal with a Flying Senton.

Has there ever been bigger proof that The Rock is an absolute stud than the success of Ballers?

Ballers, objectively, is a bad show. The drama is at a minimum and the jokes are few and far between, and yet somehow, it continues to set comedy records for HBO. But how?

Simple — The Rock’s planet-sized charisma … and the litany of dimes that fill the shows, one of which being Serinda Swan.

Swan, a Canadian actress, starred as Erica Reed in the series Breakout Kings for two seasons. She then starred as DEA Special Agent Paige Arkin in the USA Network series Graceland. Swan also guest starred in one episode of Hawaii Five-0 and in four episodes of the NBC drama Chicago Fire as Brittany Baker before appearing on HBO’s Ballers.

Even though it sucks, you keep running out women like this with The Rock, and I’m going to keep tuning in.

Eric Johnson, a 21-year-old ex-Marine, has been found guilty of shooting a 20-year-old sorority sister in the head on New Year’s Day 2016. However, despite the fact that Johnson was found guilty, he will avoid the death penalty.

Johnson, 21, was found guilty of murder in Denton County, Texas, on Monday, July 31, in the death of 20-year-old Sara Mutschlechner of Martindale, Texas.

While Johnson avoided the death penalty, he still faces life in prison.

Mutschlechner, who was a junior student at the University of North Texas, was also the philanthropy chair of her Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. On the night of New Year’s Eve, Mutschlechner and friends were driving home a party around 2AM when a black SUV pulled up next to them.

According to an affidavit, the men in the SUV, including Johnson, made sexual remarks toward Mutschlechner and her friends. Denton police say that both parties had been at the same New Year’s Eve party.

An argument broke out, which led the car Johnson was in drive through the intersection. This is when Johnson fired several rounds at Mutschlechner’s Sedan, striking Mutschlechner in the head.

Mutschlechner was taken to hospital where she was placed on life support. She was pronounced dead hours later on January 1, 2016.

Apparently, there’s a whole bunch of nostalgia wrapped up in this one that’s going way over my head, so I assume it’s going over yours, too.

Last night on The Late Show, Stephen Colbert and his guest, Matthew McConaughey, unveiled a sketch called ‘Exit 57’, which is a revival of one of Colbert’s late 90’s TV shows.

Exit 57 was a 30-minute sketch comedy series that aired on Comedy Central from 1995 to 1996 and starred comedians Amy Sedaris, Paul Dinello, Stephen Colbert, Jodi Lennon, and Mitch Rouse, all of whom had previously studied improv at The Second City in Chicago.

All of the sketches, including this Late Show revival, are implied to take place in the fictional suburban setting of the Quad Cities.

Now, while I don’t get any of the nostalgia, I can watch Matthew McConaughey and Stephen Colbert share a screen for hours on end.

More than 20 gunshots were fired at a court in the Moscow region in Russia on Tuesday, injuring several people.

Early reports indicate that three people have been killed and four have been wounded.

According to Reuters, four people standing trial in a Moscow court were killed on Tuesday, August 1 in a gunfight that broke out in the court building,.

Diana Tatosova, a lawyer for the defendants, told Reuters that she was told by the chief investigator in the case that of the 11 defendants in the court, three had been killed.

TASS, a Russian news agency said the shooting began after some of the defendants attempted to grab the firearms of court security officers in an effort to take hostages.

Russia’s Investigative Committee, the country’s chief investigative body, said in a statement on Tuesday the incident took place when five handcuffed defendants tried to escape as they were escorted by two guards at the Moscow Regional Court. The body said one of the defendants tried to strangle one of the guards, and the defendants managed to escape and seized the guards’ weapons.

A shootout with the court’s guards ensued, and three of the defendants were killed. Two guards were injured. Authorities said the incident took place before a hearing in a case of a gang of nine people who are suspected of killing more than a dozen of motorists.

Russia media dubbed the accused “the Grand Theft Auto gang” after the violent video game. The men on trial are accused of terrorizing Moscow motorists for months in 2014. Prosecutors said the gang members were placing spikes on roads, forcing the motorists out of their vehicles and shooting them dead.

The nine accused men, who are all from Central Asia, were charged with 17 murders and 2 attempted murders.

Ohhhh, that Game Of Thrones, those brilliant motherf*ckers — they just know how to push allll the right buttons.

As we all know by know, The White Walkers are on their way to the Wall, which they will eventually cross. That is fact and everyone knows it. The only question that remains at this point is how exactly they are going to get past said 700-foot wall.

The early theory that the White Walkers were going to be able to collapse the wall with the same magic that allowed them to enter Three Eyed Raven’s cave. Last season, as Bran was spying on the Night King and his army, the Night King give Bran a mark that allowed the White Walkers to break into said cave, and thus, people believed those same ‘magic laws’ would apply to the Wall, too. Now that Bran, who is marked, had crossed, the White Walkers would be able to do the same.

However, a new theory has popped up on Reddit, and as much as I was all in on the ‘Bran f*cking things up’ theory, I have to say this is definitely looking like the answer.

According to Reddit user RohltMSasi, the season 7 intro contains a massive clue as to how the White Walkers plan to pass said wall, and it isn’t by going through — but going around.

Throw in the vision that the Hound had in episode 1 with the fact that Jon Snow just sent his buddy Tormund to man Eastwatch by the Sea, and you have three solid clues that the White Walkers are simply going to freeze the water surrounding the wall and walk around it.

Would I rather see them bring down the Wall entirely? Of course. But seven seasons in, I have full confidence in the writers to make the correct decisions, so I have to assume that whatever their reason is to have the Army of the Dead go around the wall as opposed to through it, it’s going to play out brilliantly.

According to a complaint filed on Tuesday in the Southern District of New York City against Fox News, Malia Zimmerman and Ed Butowsky, Rod Wheeler, a private investigator and former paid commenter for Fox News, claims the network and Zimmerman worked with Butowsky and President Donald Trump to release false information about the death of Seth Rich. This comes after  Wheeler told CNN in May that the quotes in the story were fabricated.

In the suit, Wheeler alleges that the parties involved intended to divert the public’s attention from speculation about the administration’s ties to Russia. Furthermore, the claims a reporter for Fox News created fake quotations and attributed them to him to propel they story.

According to NPR, who first reported on the suit, the story in question, which first ran in May, was retracted a week later. However, at this time, Fox News has taken no action in response to what it said was a failure to adhere to the network’s standards.

The network cited an unnamed FBI official. And the report relied heavily on Rod Wheeler, a former police detective, hired months earlier on behalf of the Riches by Ed Butowsky.

These developments took place during growing public concerns over a federal investigation into the Trump camp’s possible collusion with the Russian government during the campaign. The allegations have since touched on the president’s son and son-in-law, his former campaign manager, his attorney general and his first national security adviser, who resigned as a result.

The question of Rich’s death took on greater urgency for Butowsky after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey in early May. Comey had been overseeing the Russia investigation. The story ran just a week later.

Fox’s report went sideways shortly after it was posted online and aired on Fox & Friends. It was denounced by the Rich family, D.C. police, Democratic Party officials, and even, privately, by some journalists within the network. Within hours, Wheeler told other news outlets that Fox News had put words in his mouth.

NPR reports that the filing includes a text message from Butowsky, a Texas wealth manager and avid Trump supporter, to Wheeler, in which he discussed President Trump’s “eagerness” to have the story published.

“Not to add any more pressure but the president just read the article. He wants the article out immediately. It’s now all up to you. But don’t feel the pressure,” Butowsky texted Wheeler according to the filing.

Wheeler’s suit claims that the purpose of the article was to establish that Seth Rich provided WikiLeaks with the DNC emails to shift the blame from Russia and temper the speculation that President Trump colluded with Russia in an attempt to influence the outcome of the Presidential election.

Who was Seth Rich?

Seth Rich was an employee for the DNC who was fatally shot and killed in Washington, D.C. Following his death, his murder spurred several conspiracy theories about the crime, including the claim that Rich had been involved with the leaked DNC emails in 2016.

On the night of Sunday, July 10, 2016, Rich was shot about a block from his apartment in the Bloomingdale neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Earlier that night, Rich was at Lou’s City Bar, a sports bar approximately 1.8 miles from his apartment. Rich left around 1:30 or 1:45. At 4:20 AM, police were alerted to gunfire by an automated gunfire locator. Within approximately one minute after the gun shots, police officers found Rich with multiple gunshot wounds, in a conscious and breathing state. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

According to police, he died from two shots to the back and may have been killed in an attempted robbery, noting that the neighborhood had recently been plagued by robberies.

At least 34 people have been killed in a horrific bus accident in Madagascar, local authorities said. 12 people were pronounced dead at the scene.

A bus carrying young Christian worshippers plunged down a ravine in central Madagascar. According to a statement from the hospital in capital Antananarivo, 22 other people have been pronounced dead.

The bus had more than one hundred passengers on it traveling from Soavinandriana to a meeting of young Protestant faithful in Mahajanga. The accident took place approximately 72 kilometers from the Malagasy capital of Antananarivo.

At least 34 people died in the accident of a bus carrying young Protestant faithful to the north of Madagascar on Monday night to Tuesday, according to a report from the gendarmerie and hospitals.

“The bus has badly approached a climb and fell in a ravine of about 20 meters. It caught fire after making several barrels,” said commander Major Herilalatiana Andrianarisaona, responsible for the communication of the gendarmerie.

“Twelve burnt bodies have been pulled out of the vehicle,” he added.

It’s more or less the general consensus of every person walking the earth that Fight Club Brad Pitt is about as good looking as any human man can be. Just absolutely shredded from head to toe, dudes everywhere have been trying to achieve the Brad Pitt-Fight Club look for close to two decades now.

Now, while there are probably many ways to get in this sort of shape, I always expected the method Brad used to be the Navy SEAL equivalent of exercise programs. You don’t get to looking like that by just showing up at the gym and picking up heavy objects. But when I saw the actual work out that Pitt used to chisel those Zeus-like abs, I have to admit, I was a little disappointed.

While I am not some gym expert, I do exercise semi regularly (3-5 times a week), and I have to day, Pitt’s once-legendary Fight Club workout is honestly kind of…average:

Mid-Morning Snack: Tinned tuna in whole wheat pita breads

Lunch: Two chicken breasts, 75-100g brown rice or pasta and green veggies

Pre-Workout Snack: A protein bar or whey protein shake and a banana

Post Workout: Whey protein shake and a banana

Dinner: Grilled fish or chicken, brown rice or pasta, vegetables and salad.

Evening Snack: Casein protein shake or low fat cottage cheese (slow release protein).

However, none of this really matters, because no matter what you eat or how hard you train, you’ll never look as good as Brad Pitt did in Fight Club. It’s just science.

Those Netflix guys sure know what they’re doing, huh? Sure, they may be $20 billion in debt, but you gotta spend money to make money, am I right?

Created by David Fincher, who is also quite good at what he does, Mindhunter will be set in 1979 and will revolve around two FBI agents, played by Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany, who interview imprisoned serial killers to try to solve ongoing cases.

Jonathan Groff stars as Holden Ford, a special agent in the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, alongside Holt McCallany, who stars as Bill Tench, another special agent in the FBI’s BSU. The series also stars Anna Torv as Wendy, a psychologist, and Cotter Smith as Shepard, unit chief of the FBI National Training Academy.

It’s got a very Gone Girl meets Seven vibe, which should be an automatic selling point for anyone who enjoys the murder (sorry IDK what else to call it?) genre.

Mindhunter premieres on Netflix on October 13, just two weeks before Stranger Things 2, so clear your binge calendar folks.

No, this isn’t a joke. Seven Catholic priests decided to enter The City Arms, a pub in the capital of Wales. They were out to celebrate two of their lads who had just been ordained as deacons. But when the barkeep saw the clothes they were wearing, all the priests were asked to leave.

Now, why the bloody hell would someone do that for?? Well, these priests were mistaken for stag lads, which means management thought they had a bunch of rowdy party animals on their hands. Those holy men were sent out the day without one brew in their bellies.

Fortunately, the manager discovered his mistake and brought those fellas back to the pub for a pint on the house. Assistant manager Matt Morgan gave all the holy lads a round of beers for free. ‘By way of apology, he then very graciously provided us with a round of drinks, at which point the group decided to stay, provoking an outburst of applause from the locals casually enjoying a pint,’ one priest told WalesOnline.

The assistant manager of The City Arms regularly ran into stag parties on weekends. So when he saw a pack of “priests” entering his pub, a bunch of red flags went off. Morgan said, “The staff thought they were a stag. We do have quite a few issues on the weekends with parties wearing fancy dress so it is our policy to turn them away.”

Do drunken bros really dress up as priests and get hammered at bars? Probably. I could see it. It’s understandable for Morgan to make that mistake.

However, the holy men involved had a jolly good time regardless. A spokesman for the Archdiocese of Cardiff sent out a special thank you to the pub:

Whether it be actors, athletes, politicians, or otherwise, I’ve don’t think I’ve seen someone go from universally praised and respected to wholly hated and despised quite as fast as Chris Christie.

Just a handful of years ago, Chris Christie was the Republican party’s supposed ace in the hole, having as good a chance as anyone to win the Republican nomination. But first BridgeGate happened, and then Donald Trump happened, and now our boy is literally one of the most disapproved of governors in the nation’s history. Talk about a fall from grace.

But just because Christie is just a few short months away from the end of his tenure as Governor of New Jersey, does not mean he intends to go quietly into that good night. That’s not the Christie way.

First, there was Beachgate, which was the epitome of how disconnected Christie is from the people of his state. As a proud New Jerseyian, I can attest that this was an all-around asshole move from Jabba the Governor. Then, just a week while Christie was hosting Mike Francesca’s radio show, Mike from Montclair, the hero we deserve, phoned in to call Christie a fatass.

Finally, another week after that, Christie got himself nearly booed out of Citi Field at a Mets game:

And now finally, in maybe his most Christien display yet, comes this video of the Rounded One getting right up in the grill of a Cubs fan at a Milwaukee Brewers game.

Try and wrap your head around this one: the governor of New Jersey is all the way up in Wisconsin and he’s still catching shit. I wouldn’t know the Governor of Wisconsin or California or New York if he walked up to me and kicked me in the dick, and yet here’s this random mid-westerner having enough negative feelings towards Christie that he felt the need to vocalize them in public. That’s true hate.

And yet, in classic Chrissy Craig (that’s a Jenny Craig reference for the Forrest Gumps in the room) fashion, the soon-to-be former governor of New Jersey preposterously tried to defend himself:

Don’t get me wrong, I hate Chris Christie as much as the next guy, but I will miss the hell out of him and his walking-headline ways.

Is The Undertaker afraid of anything? Apparently so…according to his longtime manager Paul Bearer. Before Bearer’s death in 2013, he sat down for an interview to reveal the phobia of his mortal client Mark William Calaway. Here’s what drives Marky Mark (Calaway) over the edge…

“He cannot stand cucumbers… I saw The Undertaker throw up all over a waffle house because there was a cucumber floating in his iced tea.”

“It was something to do with when he was a kid… I guess his mother made him eat them when he didn’t want them, or something.

“He just hates cucumbers.”

Cucumbers? Really? And once Bearer discovered this fear, he’d personally use it against The Undertaker just for laughs. The pale, pudgy manager would drop cucumber slices in ‘Taker’s hats and gloves. The late, great Bearer really had a mischievous side to him…

But Bearer’s pranks absolutely paled in comparison to the pranks of another deceased WWE legend in the form of “The Black Heart” Owen Hart. Owen was absolutely savaged when it came to playing tricks on The Deadman. Long-time WWE official Bruce Prichard talked about Hart’s shenanigans on his “Something to Wrestle” Podcast.

“Owen put cucumbers in the bottom of the iced tea so that when Taker drank the tea and drank it back, he didn’t realize the cucumbers were in there until it was looking at his face.”

Hart routinely slipped cucumber slices in ‘Taker’s boots. He liked the idea of The Deadman freaking out upon finding out that squishy feeling are slices of that dreaded green vegetable. Owen would also hide cucumber slices in The Undertaker’s tights, and then pull them out whenever he had ‘Taker locked in a headlock. Calaway was forced to face his fear whenever he crossed paths with The Black Heart. Owen may have just been The Deanman’s most feared opponent…

Kam Chancellor is a household name in the NFL, the toughest, most premier, and highly regarded American football league in the world. As a strong safety for the Seattle Seahawks, he is part of the renowned group, the Legion of Boom (includes Richard Sherman, DeShawn Shead, Jeremy Lane, and Earl Thomas). As a defensive specialist, Chancellor won several accolades with the Seahawks such as disallowing the least points scored by an opponent and catching interceptions. In addition, he was a member of the team when they won Super Bowl XLVIII. Thus far in his career, he was a pro-bowler for four years.

If you are wondering where he will be playing, fear not Seahawks fans, he will be returning to Seattle for a while!

Two years after a holdout forced the Seahawks to play a pair of games without Kam Chancellor, the franchise and their star safety have come to terms on a new pact.

Chancellor signed a three-year, $36 million contract extension Tuesday with $25 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Chancellor was coming up on the final year of a five-year, $29.323 million deal he signed back in 2013.

The strong safety’s net worth is a whopping $14 million. No wonder he wears bling blings and goes on exotic vacations. I wish I can acquire designer clothes and flex my Bulgattis and Ferraris to my homies. All jokes aside, he definitely worked hard to be at the place he is right now.

2010-2013

2010 was a magical year for Chancellor. Chancellor was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks early in the fifth round with the 133rd overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.Chancellor began the 2011 season as the team’s starting strong safety, replacing recently unsigned veteran Lawyer Milloy on the depth chart. Chancellor had a very strong season, coming in second on the team in both tackles and interceptions. As a result, he was added to the 2012 Pro Bowl roster, replacing Dashon Goldson of the San Francisco 49ers.

The 2012 season saw Chancellor as the incumbent starting strong safety, and he started all 16 games. He did not record any sacks or interceptions for the season, though he did have a career high 101 tackles.

In April 2013, Chancellor agreed to a four-year extension worth up to $28 million with the Seahawks, placing him under contract through 2017. In the 2013 season alone, Chancellor recorded 65 tackles and three interceptions.

2014-2016

At the start of the 2014 season, Chancellor was named a team captain, joining quarterback Russell Wilson, punter Jon Ryan, and placekicker Steven Hauschka as the Seattle Seahawks four team captains. On September 21, 2014, in a Super Bowl XLVIII rematch with the Denver Broncos, Chancellor recorded 9 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble, and 2 passes defended in a 26-20 victory, winning the NFC Defensive Player of the Week Award. At the end of the regular season, he was selected for the third Pro Bowl of his career and voted in the Second-team All-Pro by the Associated Press.

In Super Bowl XLIX, Chancellor recorded 10 tackles as the Seahawks failed to repeat as Super Bowl champions. They fell to the New England Patriots 28-24.

Starting the 2016 season, Chancellor was named defensive team captain for the second time in his career, joining Russell Wilson, Jon Ryan, and cornerback DeShawn Shead as the four Seahawk captains. He was ranked 32nd by his fellow players on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2016.

In the 2016 season, Chancellor had 47 tackles and two interceptions. After the season, he was ranked 34th by his fellow players on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2017.

2017-Present

The Seattle Seahawks and safety Kam Chancellor reportedly reached an agreement Tuesday on a new contract that will pay the defender $36 million over three years.

According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, the deal includes $25 million in guaranteed money.

The 29-year-old Chancellor had been set to enter the final year of his contract in 2017, but his new agreement will keep him locked up through the 2020 campaign.

Retro games will always hold a special place in my heart. And when I heard about the limited edition SNES Classic mini-system coming out this holiday season, I was brought back to when I was six years old, borrowing a Super Nintendo console from the older kid down the block. This mini-console is scheduled to hit stores this holiday season, with 21 top Super Nintendo games.

Walmart recently had a glitch which made pre-orders available much sooner than expected. The retailing giant cancelled all preorders for Classic SNES as a result.

Nintendo took to Facebook to clarify some issues and to apologize for that pre-order fiasco.

Nintendo announced that they will make pre-orders of the SNES Classic available by late August. However, the system does have its now sides, with a $80 price tag and only 21 games to its name, which leaves out plenty of fun titles. But if you’re a retro gamer/collector, this seems like a good buy. You’ll have many of the classic Super Nintendo titles at your disposal, including Zelda, Star Fox 2, Donkey Kong County, and Super Mario Kart.

The SNES Classic will also introduce many of the young gamers to the awesome games of the past. You’ll have a world of early ’90s wonder at your millennial fingertips. And you might start playing this more than the consoles of the current generation.

The Cash Me Outside Girl avoided a prison sentence, but she’ll be under the watchful eye of the criminal justice system for years to come. The famed cyber-celebrity Danielle Bregoli, 14, pleaded guilty to grand theft, grand theft auto, marijuana possession and filing a false police report in late June. On Tuesday, Bregoli was sentenced to 5 years probation in Delray Beach, Florida.

The state of Florida has recommended that Bregoli remain in Palm Beach County. However, she is allowed to complete her probation in California, where she can live with her mother Barbara Bregoli.

Why did the Cash Me Outside Girl get locked up?

How could this innocent little angel get into any kind of trouble, you may be asking yourself. Of course, I’m being facetious. But the real reason why Bregoli got into legal trouble stems from three separate incidents last year. Bregoli allegedly stole her mother’s purse and car, and made a false police report claiming that her mother had been using heroin.

In May 2016, Bregoli allegedly filed a police report by calling 911 and claiming domestic battery. When police arrived, the girl pointed towards scattered bits of powdered sugar on the bathroom counter, claiming it to be heroin. She later admitted her acquisitions to be false.

The state attorney’s office also claims that the young cyber-star was found in a car with cannabis earlier this year.

Danielle’s father Ira Peskowitz personally attended his daughter’s sentencing. He tearfully told reporters that, “My daughter is being exploited. She posts 24-7. It’s controlled by an alleged management team that promotes absurd behavior for a 14-year-old child.”
