The Celtics need to start finding consistency in this series. They keep taking the series lead and then letting the Wizards tie it back up. The saddest truth about game six is that Al Horford could have sunk a three-pointer if it didn’t hit off the backboard, which would have sent the game to overtime. With the series heading back to Beantown, it could be a good luck charm for the Celtics, who have won all three games in this series at home. If the Celtics can put up a solid defense against the Wizards, then they will have a shot to square off against the Cavs in round three.

The Wizards proved they were not going out without a fight and with their backs against the wall they were able to pull out a big W. While they were able to stave off elimination, they still have a lot of work to do in game seven. The Celtics are looking to correct past mistakes in this series, so the Wizards have to keep their guard up. The competition only gets tough from here, so if the Wizards want to prove they have the caliber to make it to the finals, they need to win big. Neither team has won on the road so far, so the Wizards have a lot going against them in game seven. If the Wizards can overcome the odds and knock out the top-seeded Celtics then the Cavs better be ready for a fight.

It seems as though the Senators just love overtime wins, as game one had to be settled in extra minutes. Ottawa was able to take away the win and gain a 1-0 series lead over Pittsburgh. The Penguins still have another game at home and are looking to even out the series before going on the road. If the first game showed us anything, it is that these two teams are evenly matched, so this will be an interesting series to watch.

The Penguins just never seem to catch a break in the playoffs, but that’s the price you have to pay when you want the Cup. Pittsburgh was able to tie up the game and force an overtime, but the Senators were still able to take the first win. This is the first time in the 2017 playoffs that the Penguins don’t have the series lead, so this team is looking to get back on track in game two. They still have the home crowd cheering them on so they will try to even up this series. The defending champs are only four wins away from going back to the finals, so this team is going to give it everything they’ve got to win it again.

Who would have thought the Senators were going to really turn it on in the playoffs? The just seem to know when and how to win when it count as they continue on in the Eastern conference finals. Taking game one was both literally and figuratively a big win for the Senators. This team would like to have a 2-0 series lead when the head back to Ottawa, so get ready for the Senators to come out full force. It has been ten years since they have made it to the finals, and Ottawa has worked their asses off so far to make sure they make it back. The Senators seem to get better and stronger with each series, so if they can beat the Penguins, this team may be unstoppable in the Stanley cup finals.

Usually, I’m not a big indecent exposure guy, but in the name of ‘f*ck Portland’, I could maybe get on board. Cause seriously, screw Portland, with it’s “environmental consciousness” and its “high-walkability” and it’s “farm-to-table dining.” Here in New York, it seems like someone lit a shit on fire on a good day. You want a farm-to-table meal? Prepare to pay with your soul. In New York, if you want environmental consciousness, you need to drive 3 hours in any other direction, cause that’s where you’ll find it.

So, while I don’t necessarily agree with this guy, I can kind of, sort of see where he’s coming from, cause if we’re being honest, I’m sick of Portland’s shit too.

An officer arrived at the scene and was directed to a man who was exposing himself and masturbating in public, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The affidavit states the man saw the officer, covered himself up and began to walk away.

The officer stopped the man and asked him about his behavior. Court documents state the suspect, 59-year-old Terry Lee Andreassen, replied that he was on methamphetamine and wanted to go back to prison because he “(expletive) hates Portland.”

Turns out Andreassen, who was arrested on the felony charge of public indecency, is a serial offender, as he was previously convicted of felony public indecency in Multnomah County in October 2014.

Say what you will about his methods — ya gotta respect a man’s commitment to his passion … only problem is this guy’s passions are hating on Portland and pulling his nuts out in public.

After last week’s gut-wrenching and impressively put together episode, AMC’s Better Call Saul will somehow continue its third season tonight with episode No. 6, “Off Brand.”

How, exactly, does Saul continue to amaze after last week’s show-stopping confrontation between Jimmy and Chuck? That remains to be seen. Saul has consistently surpassed our expectations and delivered a wholly original series that can stand on its own while still delighting the most die-hard of Breaking Bad fans. The fact that we know how and where Jimmy’s story goes has done nothing to curb the quality of this show.

You ever just irrationally hate on something just because?

Whether it be a person, a TV show, an Instagram account — we all do it. We all hate on something way more than we should.

That’s like me with these fidget spinners. Just like the hoverboard craze from a couple of years ago, I assume anyone with a fidget spinner is a person of lesser intelligence.

“They could do this.”

If you were watching Game 1 of this year’s NBA Western Conference Finals, you probably thought that at one point or another about the San Antonio Spurs. Whether it be a worried Warriors fan, a hopeful Spurs fan, or most likely, a casual fan who just wanted to see the Warriors lose, that thought crossed your mind at one point or another.

The Spurs came into Game 1 as 10 point underdogs, but by the end of the first half, they were up 20. And it was clear — if the San Antonio Spurs played their game, for four whole games, they could win this series. By no means an easy task, but a goal that most thought was unattainable just 24 hours before was now on the radar. The worn-down, world-weary, reluctant hero had a real chance of defeating the young and gun villain.

Kawhi was dominating on both ends, Aldridge looked like the Portland version of himself, and Manu Ginobili was yet again able to turn the clock back a couple of years. Danny Green was hitting threes, and Patty Mills, although shooting poorly, looked far better than the 35-year-old Tony Parker did. . Unless you grew up in the Bay Area or are a front-running child, odds are, this is was good news.

And then, with about six and a half to go in the third and the Spurs up 23 points, this happened:

I haven’t played basketball with regulated rules since I was about 8, so it’s out of my realm of knowledge to know whether that’s definitively a dirty play by Zaza Pachulia. However, whether or not I can tell if you if it’s dirty or not doesn’t matter, because both the rules and Gregg Popovich will tell you that, dirty or not — it’s certainly illegal.

While speaking to reporters this morning, not 24 hours after losing one of the best 5 players in the league, a usually reserved Pop went on a two-minute tirade about the incident:

Now, Pop makes two points here, the second stronger than first.

His first point is simple: it’s against the rules. And not only is it against the rules, but it’s a rule that’s been emphasized over the last decade or so. As a fan, I can attest to that. 15 years ago when I was watching Jason Kidd run the point for my Nets, players were stepping in opponents ‘landing area’ regularly. Today, you can draw a foul if some nicks you.

But it’s his second point that I find poignant, and yet another other reason why it makes the Warriors such a unlikeable team.

Essentially, what I think is happening here, and what Pop is so angry about, is that the Warriors have so much talent that they can afford to pay a player such as Zaza Pachulia to be a hockey-like enforcer.

In just one second, the Spurs were a quarter away from being up 1-0, with both momentum and the mental edge in their favor, to being without their best player in Game 2, and in all likelihood traveling home for Game 3 without a win.

And even if Zaza did have to face the consequences of his actions, it wouldn’t matter, because the battle has already been won. To the Warriors, losing Zaza Pachulia is like biting off a hangnail — but to the Spurs, losing Kawhi Leonard is like getting blinded by acid.

Usually, I wouldn’t assume a player is intentionally trying to injure another, but based on the clip above, it’s difficult to give Pachulia the benefit of the doubt. A player with a dirty past making a seemingly dirty play against an opponent who is in the middle of soning your entire squad certainly seems shady to me. And that’s why Popovich is, yet again, right on the money. It doesn’t matter what the potential intent of the play was — what matters is what happened. And what happened is this: one of the Warriors’ expendable rotation players made an illegal, dangerous play against the Spurs best player and accomplished exactly what he set out to do — injure Kawhi Leonard.

All of this adds up to me thinking that Zaza Pachulia and the Warriors, knowing Kawhi’s ankle was already banged up, were well aware of what they were doing during that play. It isn’t enough for them to have the most talent in the league — no, they have to use bush league tactics to take talent away from the other teams, too.

The Fraklin Police Department in Massachusetts have been working around the clock as they for a missing Duke University student who has not been seen or heard from since the early morning hours of Sunday, May 14.

According to a press release from the Franklin Police Department, 20-year-old Michael Doherty, a graduate of Xaiver High School, was last spotted in the Phyllis Lane area at 1.30 AM Sunday, May 14, after attending a house party with some friends.

Doherty is junior in the Pratt School of Engineering and a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity at Duke.

Parents of Michael Doherty called police Sunday and reported their son had not returned home.

Police said search crews include members of the Massachusetts Environmental Police and the Metro-LEC, a consortium of more than 45 local police departments and law enforcement agencies.

Doherty, a 2015 graduate of Xaverian High School and current Duke University student, was last seen in the Phyllis Lane area at 1:30 a.m. Police said he had been attending a gathering with some friends.

Massachusetts police are using K-9’s, drone, motorboats, and canoes, as they search through a swampy area off of Oak Street extension. Bad weather on Sunday kept a Massachusetts State Police Air Wing helicopter grounded, but by late morning, it had joined the search.

Doherty a 5’10” white male with brown hair and brown eyes, is reported to have been wearing a blue t-shirt with a Nike symbol, black pants, and sneakers.

In a statement, Duke University said they were aware Doherty was missing and said they would help the authorities as requested.

“Our thoughts are with Michael and his family for a quick and positive outcome,” the statement read.

In a reverse 911 call, investigators urged residents to check the area outside their homes, including any sheds or detached buildings. Furthermore, the Franklin Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact authorities at 508-528-1212.

Kurt Angle kicks off tonight’s Raw

The Raw General Manager makes his way down to the ring. He announces Braun Strowman’s elbow injury, which will require “The Monster Among Men” to be on the shelf for six whole months. Strowman originally had his sights on the WWE Universal Championship, but now Brock Lesnar needs a new competitor, and it won’t be Strowman. To remedy this situation, Angle announces a fatal 5-way at the Extreme Rules pay per view between Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns. The winner will be the new #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship.

Angle is about to leave the ring, but his exit is interrupted by the theme music of Roman Reigns. The Big Dog tells Angle that there shouldn’t be a fatal 5-way because Roman is the real #1 contender. He beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania and took out Braun Strowman.

Finn Balor comes out next, and he disagrees with Roman’s assessment of the whole situation. Balor is the first Universal Champion, he’s never lost his title, and plus, on his first night in the WWE, he beat Roman Reigns. The line starts behind Balor. Reigns thinks he has a lot of heart, but really doesn’t think Finn has what it takes to take out Lesnar.

Samoa Joe comes out next. He says that he’s a man of action. Joe slapped in the Coquina Clutch on Seth Rollins, and he made that sucker pass out. And he’s going to be the one to face Brock Lesnar.

The lights go off and when they get turned back on, Bray Wyatt is in the ring. He’s going to be the one to win the 5-way match and face Lesnar, or so Bray says.

Seth Rollins is out next, and he’s not looking to talk. Rollins is looking for a fight, specifically against Samoa Joe. The Samoan Submission Machine leaves the ring and brawls with Seth. All hell is breaking lose! Wyatt attacks Balor in the ring, and Reigns takes the fight to the Eater of Worlds. Rollins targets Joe’s knee and almost snaps it on the ring ropes.

Balor and Reigns are going at it, but Finn seems more savvy than The Big Dog. Reigns tries a Superman Punch, but eats a Sling Blade from Balor for his troubles. Roman rolls out of the ring, but Balor runs the ropes and suicide dives out onto Reigns and Rollins. Balor stands tall as we go to commercial break.

Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus

Hardy takes the fight to Sheamus to start off the match. The Celtic Warrior tries to hit Hardy with a Brogue Kick right off the bat, but Jeff ducks. The crowd is chanting “Brother Nero” at Hardy, referencing his days in the TNA iMPACTful Wrestling brand. But the crowd’s support isn’t enough to fend off the Celtic Warrior, who has Jeff lying on his arse outside the ring as we go to commercial break.

Sheamus is high on the top rope as come back from the break. He jumps off and lands a sick knee of Hardy. The Celtic Warrior tries to wear down Hardy with a headlock, and Jeff fights up and out. But the Celtic Warrior is way too strong and slams down Hardy.

But Jeff is so resilient, quickly the veteran is back in control with fancy kicks and flips. Jeff attempts a Twist of Fate on Sheamus, but eats a hellish knee to the face instead. Sheamus goes for the cover. 1…2…Hardy kicks out!

Sheamus ascends the top rope again, but gets caught with a modified stunner. Cesaro is starting to get anxious at ringside. Matt Hardy climbs on the ring apron, but takes a kick to the gut for his troubles. Matt falls back onto Cesaro. Jeff capitalizes on a distracted Sheamus and knocks the big man down. Jeff ascends the top rope and hits a picture perfect Swanton Bomb.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dean Ambrose (c) vs. The Miz

We see some back-and-forth action from both men to start off this contest. Miz attempts a Skull Crushing Finale early-on, but Ambrose counters. Miz rolls up Ambrose, but only gets a 2 count. Dean gains control and nails a spinning neckbreaker on The Hollywood A-Lister. Fans are chanting for Ambrose. Dean goes to the top rope, but Miz wisely rolls out of the ring.

We’re back from the commercials, and The Miz has regained control. Miz sails off the top rope and knocks down The Lunatic Fringe. Miz goes for the pinfall, but Ambrose kicks out at 2. We see a clip from what happened during the commercial: The Miz launches Ambrose into the steel steps.

Miz hits a neckbreaker and covers Ambrose for another count of 2. Miz hits Dean with multiple “YES” kicks. Ambrose ducks a roundhouse kick and rolls up The Miz. The Hollywood A-Lister kicks out, but Ambrose quickly capitalizes, kicks Miz in the gut and attempts to put him away with The Dirty Deeds. The Miz counters and fights back, but gets dumped over the top rope and out of the ring via Mean Dean Ambrose.

Ambrose ascends the top rope, but Maryse tries to protect The Miz. Dean doesn’t care and jumps anyway. Maryse quickly moves out of the way, and The Lunatic Fringe takes out The Hollywood A-Lister. The referee is about to count out both men, but they make it back to the ring before the count of 10.

Maryse climps up on the ring apron and distracts the referee. Miz tries to hit Dean with an uppercut low-blow, but gets his arm caught by Ambrose. Dean responds by kicking him below the belt, right in the you know what.

In-Ring Segment: “The Goddess” Alexa Bliss wants to speak

Alexa Bliss basically calls everyone in the audience failures. They’re not as dominant or as intelligent as Alexa, who is the definition of a winner. She’s a goddess, who should be worshiped by the masses.

Bayley doesn’t like the words coming out of Alexa’s mouth. She better get ready for Extreme Rules because Bayley is coming to take her championship back. But Bliss isn’t taking the happy-go-lucky challenger seriously. She likens Bayley to a little girl who doesn’t even know what Extreme Rules is, she may know extreme hop-scotch, but not a hardcore wrestling match.

The former champion is tried of Alexa’s crap and goes on the attack. But the fiery champion will do anything to maintain that upper-hand. When Bayley is down in the ring, Alexa goes to the outside and pulls out a kendo stick from under the ring.

Bliss reenters the ring and whips Bayley in the back with that kendo stick. Bayley’s face is wrapped in pain and rolls out of the ring. The crowd is loving every minute of it.

Neville & TJP vs. Austin Aries & “Gentleman” Jack Gallagher

Neville wants no part of his challenger for Backlash: Austin Aries. “The King of the Cruiserweights” tags in TJP instead. Aries goes on the attack and sends Neville sailing off the apron. Gallagher and Aries attempt some double-team action on TJP, but Neville pulls him out of the ring before it’s too late. Gallagher launches Aries into his opponents outside the ring.

We’re back from the break and TJP has the upper-hand on Aries. Neville gets the tag and stomps the sh*t out of Aries. Neville sends Aries to the outside and distracts the referee long enough for TJP to capitalize on the hurt #1 contender. TJP gets the tag and puts the hurting on Aries, while Jack Gallagher is anxious for a tag.

TJP mocks Gallagher as he lays in on Aries. Neville gets involved and hits Austin with yet another cheap shot. Aries somehow wriggles free and tags in Jack, who comes in hot. Gallagher unleashes all hell on TJP, hitting him with a big slam and a flurry of shots. Jack goes for the cover, but TJP kicks out at a count of 2.

Aries lays out Neville with a discus five-arm, but the damage has already been done. TJP quickly capitalizes and hits a Detonation Kick to end the match.

Backstage Segment: Kurt Angle speaks with a banged-up Bayley

Bayley looks hurt and she’s been tended to by trainers and doctors. She’s rubbing her neck. Angle informs Bayley that her match at Extreme Rules against Alexa Bliss will be a standard wrestling match. But Bayley doesn’t like this news. She wants to get hardcore. Basically, Bayley wants to get medieval on Alexa’s ass. Kurt Angle announces a change of plans and announces a “Kendo Stick on a Pole” match at Extreme Rules between Bliss and Bayley.

Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns

Balor blocks the Superman Punch and pushes Roman into the corner. But “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns gains control and the crowd hates it. A chorus of boos ensue as Reigns stomps away on Balor.

Finn turns things around, when Reigns runs into a boot. Balor hits Reigns with several wicked strikes, but The Big Dog fires back with a Samoan Drop. That move was so yuge that it took a lot out of Roman too.

On the outside, Finn regains control with an insane kick to Reigns’ head. Balor runs back and nails another kick, this time to Roman’s face. Balor hits Reigns with a chop, but The Big Dog seems unfazed and fires back with a right hand. Roman charges Balor, but “The Demon King” moves out of the way, and The Big Dog’s injured shoulder smacks into the ring post.

Reigns falls to the outside. Balor capitalizes with another yuge kick to Roman’s face and a double stomp from the apron onto Finn’s back. Reigns is down and Balor, still running on nerves, circles the ringside area.

We’re back from the break and Balor is still looking dominant. Balor throws the Big Dog through the ropes, and when Reigns comes back in, he eats another kick from The Demon King. Reigns is on the floor, but quickly regains control and sends Balor into the barricade. Reigns props Balor up on the apron and delivers a Drive-by Kick. Reigns rolls Balor into the ring and goes for the cover. 1..2…kick out!

More back and forth. Balor eats a Superman Punch, but rallies back and hits a Sling Blade and a drop kick. Finn attempts a Coup de Grace, but Roman knocks him off her perch. Reigns hits an Earth-shattering spear to end the match.

Titus hypes up his main man Apollo and talks trash about those boys Enzo & Cass. Titus enters the ring and mocks Enzo’s signature dance. Titus says that Apollo will destroy Enzo. But Big Cass informs O’Neil that it won’t be Enzo vs. Crews, it will be Big Cass vs. Titus. And after the match, O’Neil isn’t going to like the way he looks, Cass guarantees it.

Representative Al Green of Houston, Texas has become the first United States congressman to call for the impeachment of President Trump.

The Democratic congressman accused Trump obstructing the investigation into possible ties between Trump’s campaign and the Kremlin’s influence over the 2016 election.

Green named three specific acts committed by President Trump that he believes warrant impeachment:

1. The firing of former FBI Director James Comey, who was overseeing a lawful investigation into possible campaign ties to Russian influence.
2. Trump acknowledging that he considered the investigation when he fired Comey.
3. Making Comey the subject of what Green calls a “threatening” tweet. It read, “James Comey better hope that there are no ‘tapes’ of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press.”
   Green says these acts combined add up to intimidation and obstruction.

Similarly, Alan Dershowitz, one of the country’s most prominent scholars on United States constitutional law and criminal law and a leading defender of civil liberties called the accusations against Trump the “most serious charge ever against a sitting U.S. president.”

Dershowitz also had a warning for Democrats, cautioning that it would be “a serious mistake” to conflate this with whether the Trump campaign had possible ties to Russian officials.

“We should not be talking about these other issues, we should be focusing only on this threat,” he said. “That’s where Republicans and Democrats can agree. Democrats should not be trying to take political advantage of this. This should be a national security issue pure and simple in isolation of everything else that went on before.”

But Dershowitz also noted the President is able to declassify information, and because of that, Trump would be “safe from criminal investigation” and “probably safe from impeachment.”

He added that “we may have to ban all laptops starting tomorrow” because of the alleged disclosure, calling the situation “an emergency.”

A bedrock premise upon which respect for, and obedience to, our societal norms is “No one is above the law.”

President Trump is not above the law.  He has committed an impeachable act and must be charged.  To do otherwise would cause some Americans to lose respect for, and obedience to, our societal norms.

President Trump has committed an act for which he should be charged by the U.S. House of Representatives.  The act is the obstruction of a lawful investigation of the President’s campaign ties to Russian influence in his 2016 Presidential Election.

This charging, of the President, is known constitutionally as impeachment.

Impeachment, of the President, by the House of Representatives is not a finding of guilt.  The House of Representatives cannot find the President guilty of anything.  Only the U.S. Senate can do this after a trial.

Here are the acts committed by the President that, when combined, merit his being charged (impeached) for obstructing a lawful investigation:

·        The President fired the F.B.I. Director overseeing a lawful investigation of the President’s campaign ties to Russian influence in the President’s 2016 Election.

·        The President acknowledged he considered the investigation when he fired the F.B.I. Director.

·        The President made the F.B.I. Director the subject of a threatening tweet – “James Comey better hope that there are no ‘tapes’ of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press.”

These acts, when combined, amount to intimidation and obstruction.

If the President is not above the law, he should be charged, by way of impeachment, by the U.S. House of Representatives.  Whether he is guilty is a separate action for the U.S. Senate to decide.  I have said on previous occasions, and do now say again, the President should be impeached.  I also say that this can happen with a Republican-controlled House and Senate if the public weighs in by demanding that the Republican President be charged by way of impeachment.

Our mantra should be “I. T. N. – Impeach Trump Now.”

Elizabeth ‘Ellie’ Goldenberg, a 22-year-old University of Miami musical theater student, died in an airboat crash on Saturday, May 13, just one day after graduating at the top of her class.

Goldenberg, of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in fine arts on Friday, May 12, from the University of Miami – Florida.

According to the Miami Herald, Goldenberg and her family went on an airboat tour of the Florida Everglades to celebrate Elizabeth’s graduation.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the boat crashed at around 11:45 A.M. about 12 miles west of Krome Avenue in Miami, Florida’s Everglades Wildlife Management Area. Ellie, who was tossed from the boat during the crash, died from the injuries she sustained.

Ellie’s parents Renee and David Goldenberg, her sister Dana, and the airboat driver Steven George Gagne, 52, were also ejected from the boat during the crash. Ellie’s parents and Gagne were reportedly uninjured, however Dana sustained minor injuries and was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The likely driver of the airboat, Steven George Gagne, 52, was tossed overboard as well, though he wasn’t injured, said a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. FWCC didn’t name Gagne as the operator, but according to the state agency, he was the only person on the boat who is not a family member. The FWCC released no other information on Gagne.

Goldenberg’s sister Dana Goldenberg, 20, was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Their parents, Renee Flaxx-Goldenberg and David Goldenberg, both 54, were also along for the ride, but not injured.

In its statement on the accident, the FWCC did not say what company operated the airboat or what caused the accident.

FWCC spokesperson Robert Klepper said that he is “unable to state whether or not this boating incident investigation will result in any charges” at this time.

Four former Baruch College students facing charges in a 2013 hazing-related death have pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter.

The four former fraternity members of Pi Delta Psi admitted to physically abusing Chun “Michael” Deng, a Baruch College student. They also admitted to trying to cover it up as the 19-year-old lay dying in their rented house in the Pocono Mountains.

The four defendants, Kenny Kwan, Charles Lai, Raymond Lam, and Sheldon Wong, had originally been charged with third-degree murder, but pleaded guilty to felony manslaughter and hindering apprehension charges.

They each face 22 to 36 months in prison and will be sentenced in December.

The former fraternity brothers, now in their mid- to late 20s, were stoic in court and said nothing to reporters. Their lawyers didn’t comment. Police have said fraternity members blindfolded Deng, forced him to wear a heavy backpack and then repeatedly tackled him during the hazing ritual, known as glass ceiling.

Deng cursed and hit Lam at one point during the ritual, Monroe County Assistant District Attorney Kim Metzger told the judge. She said Kwan was the last brother to tackle Deng.

Deng fell unconscious and was carried inside the house while fraternity members changed his clothes and searched online for information about his symptoms, waiting an hour before taking him to the hospital, according to court documents. Deng, who suffered a brain injury, died a day later.

Dozens of other suspects face less serious charges, while one other suspect pleaded guilty to hindering apprehension and was sentenced to probation.

Furthermore, the Pi Delta Psi fraternity itself was charged with murder.

Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed at a town hall meeting in New York that hackers have reportedly stolen one of their upcoming movies and are threatening to release it unless they are paid a ransom. That movie is reportedly Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

While Iger did not say which film was allegedly stolen, Deadline reports that it’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. The film is set to open in theaters on May 26.

Dead Men Tell No Tales is the fifth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, a franchise that has made about $3.72 billion since it first began in 2003.

The hackers have demanded an enormous amount of money be paid to Bitcoin, however, Disney is currently working with the FBI and will not pay.

Disney would not comment, but insiders said that the company refuse to pay. This follows the same issue Netflix faced when a ransom hacker spilled out 10 episodes of the next season of Orange Is The New Black when Netflix also refused to ante up.

Hector Monsegur, Director of Security Assessments for Rhino Security Labs and a regular expert on the Science Channel series Outlaw Tech, was a former computer hacker who was arrested and then became an FBI informant. He told Deadline that “attribution is probably the hardest thing the FBI is dealing with here.”

Because the FBI has to track attacks backwards, “It’s nearly impossible because you have various hackers from pretty much anywhere. Also, they are aware of techniques to track them down. So you could have an Egyptian hacker who uses Russian software so it looks like it’s Russian but is actually from Egypt.”

According to reports, the hackers are threatening to release the first five minutes of the film if their demands are not met, and then the rest of the movie in 20-minute increments until they are paid.

Yesterday, shocking news broke that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, had shared classified information with a Russian official during a White House meeting.

According to the story originally published by The Washington Post, the information Trump shared with the Russian official jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State.

The information the president relayed had been provided by a U.S. partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement considered so sensitive that details have been withheld from allies and tightly restricted even within the U.S. government, officials said.

The partner had not given the United States permission to share the material with Russia, and officials said Trump’s decision to do so endangers cooperation from an ally that has access to the inner workings of the Islamic State. After Trump’s meeting, senior White House officials took steps to contain the damage, placing calls to the CIA and the National Security Agency.

Now, reminder, Trump was the guy who built a campaign over rallying his moronic followers into cheating ‘lock her up’, so the irony of Trump committing the same crime he railed against Hillary for, WHILE HE’S PRESIDENT, is almost too much to bare.

Naturally, Trump took to Twitter to try and defend himself (he has not completed his train of thought yet, we will update this post when he does)

I’m not a constitutional expert, so I don’t know the legitimate legality of what Trump did. Back in 1999, a Tim Allen-starring comedy called Galaxy Quest came out.

Galaxy Quest was essentially a love letter to all the Star Trek movies and TV shows over the years. In all honesty, it was one of the best Star Trek movies of all time, whether it shared the name sake or not.

Now, over 15 years later, it looks like Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is going for a similar vibe with his upcoming hour-long comedy on Fox, The Orville:

It became a lot harder for New England Patriots haters to argue that Tom Brady wasn’t the greatest quarterback of all time after his improbable Super Bowl comeback that cast quite a few gamblers into the red. As things stand now, Brady has five rings and seven Super Bowl appearances to go along with two MVPs. There’s a case to be made that he’s surpassed his childhood idol Joe Montana on the league’s Mount Rushmore.

But when asked about it by ESPN’s Ian O’Connor, Brady played the humble card as has become customary in a career filled with accolades.

“I don’t agree with that and I’ll tell you why,” Brady said. “I know myself as a player. I’m really a product of what I’ve been around, who I was coached by, what I played against, in the era I played in. I really believe if a lot of people were in my shoes they could accomplish the same kinds of things. So I’ve been very fortunate.”

Brady has played his entire career with the Patriots, a rarity in any age of football. Even Montana moved onto the Kansas City Chiefs when the San Francisco 49ers opted to go with Steve Young under center. In the interview, Brady says once again how he plans to play for another five seasons or so, which would bring him close to 45-years-old. It’s interesting to wonder if he’ll end up on a different team as well if the notoriously pragmatic Bill Belichick decides to ride Jimmy Garoppolo at any point.

Brady said he doesn’t “ever want to be the weak link” and that he knows that “the best guy” should win the job. But if he can keep playing like he did last season – 3,554 yards, 28 touchdowns against two interceptions in 12 games – he’s going to be the “best guy” for awhile.

Who needs money to survive or support a family? Life can just as easily be sustained by hopes and dreams, right? That’s what Duke University’s athletic department seems to believe.

The school has listed the position of “Athletic Facilities, Game Operations and Championship Assistant” as a full-time employment opportunity spanning 11 months with a preference towards applicants with four-year degrees. The job description includes overseeing athletics facilities, assisting with planning events and other operations and providing “strategies that will improve the overall performance of the department.” For all of your hard work and production, Duke University will pay you zero dollars.

The position’s listed salary reads “Open,” but the description lets applicants know (in all caps) “THIS POSITION IS UNPAID.” That sure is helpful, thanks.

In lieu of currency or any unit of value that would enable a human being to successfully live in the real world, Duke promises applicants “a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of a Division I athletic department.” Oh, good, I’ll just pay my rent and health insurance with hands-on experience. Excuse me, U.S. Government, do you take resume builders as legal tender?

Now also seems line an excellent time to remind everyone that Duke’s athletics budget tops out at more than $91 million. Mike Krzyewski earns an annual salary of $5.5 million and we gotta believe the players are making a few grand under-the-table. But no, Duke, please continue graciously offering full-time positions with absolutely zero compensation. That totally makes sense.

J.P. Taravella High School in Coral Springs, Florida, is on a modified lockdown Tuesday after someone threatened to bring a gun to school, authorities said.

What Happened?

According to Coral Springs police, a school police officer made contact with the student who allegedly made the threat on social media and informed the student’s parents. Police said the student confessed to writing the message, but insisted that it was just a prank.

Authorities have said that the threat was determined not to be viable.

Broward County Public School officials said the school remains on modified lockdown as a precaution.

It is unknown at this time if the student will face charges.

J.P. Taravella High School

J. P. Taravella High School is a secondary school located in Coral Springs, Florida which teaches grades 9–12. The school is a part of the Broward County Public Schools district. It was founded in 1981 and today serves more than 3,200 students.

Davis Allen Cripe, a 16-year-old Spring Hill High School student in South Carolina, died as a result of an excessive amount of caffeine, according to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts.

What Happened?

Cripe collapsed at his school on April 26 and later died at the hospital. Watts offered an update on his cause of death on Monday afternoon.

He said the teen had consumed several caffeinated drinks that day, including a large diet Mountain Dew, a cafe latte and also some kind of energy drink. All of the caffeine led to a cardiac event that killed Cripe. “We lost Davis from a totally legal substance.”

Watts said the boy was an accomplished student who stayed away from trouble.

“[Cripe] was totally against drugs, he was totally against alcohol,” Watts added. “He didn’t do any of that.”

Watts noted that energy drinks can be very dangerous and urges people to stay away from them.

“This is what’s dangerous about this,” Watts said. “You can have five people line up and all of them do the exact same thing with him that day, drink more, and it may not have any type of effect on them at all. It’s not something that just because you drink one drink or three drinks is necessarily going to have this effect on.”

Cripe’s parents were also present at Watts’ announcement.

“Davis was a great kid, and being his parent was a great honor to Heidi [his mother] and me,” said Sean Cripe, his father. He also cautioned people to stay away from energy drinks.

“I stand before you as a brokenhearted father and hope that something good can come from this,” Cripe said. “Parents, please, talk to your kids about the dangers of these energy drinks. And teenagers and students, please stop buying them. There’s no reason to consume them they can be very dangerous.”

Caffeine

Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant of the methylxanthine class. It is the world’s most widely consumed psychoactive drug. Unlike many other psychoactive substances, it is legal and unregulated in nearly all parts of the world.

Churchland High School

Churchland High School, located in Portsmouth, Virginia, was placed on lockdown Tuesday after school administrators say a threat had been received.

What Happened?

According to Portsmouth Public Schools official Cherise Newsome, the school received a report of a threat on Monday as well as a report of a possible weapon at the school before today’s report. The two incidents do not appear to be related at this time.

Police and school administrators are conducting security sweeps of the building.

Portsmouth police spokesperson Misty Holley says they decided to increase police presence at the school. Holley tells WAVY.com the threat was made on social media.

Parents of students were notified of the threat Monday night and of the lockdown on Tuesday, Newsome says.

In October 2016, a 14-year-old Churchland student was arrested for having a gun at school. The arrest prompted a one hour lockdown of the school. Principal Shawn Millaci sent a message to parents at the time that said, in part:

“Safety and security of staff and students is essential. We are committed to working with our students, families and community to keep our campus safe. That is why I am writing to inform you that a student had a weapon at school today. The School Resource Officer and our staff took immediate action and confiscated a gun from a student. The police were contact and the student was taken into custody and removed from the premises. There were no threats made, and no one was injured. The Portsmouth Police Department’s investigation is ongoing at this time. We will have increased security presence at the school for the remainder of the day.”

Churchland High School

Churchland High School is a public high school located in Portsmouth, Virginia. It is administered by Portsmouth City Public Schools. The school colors are black, orange, and white. The school’s mascot is a “Trucker”.

The school was founded in 1954 and houses grades 9-12 with a total enrollment of more than 1,700 students.

There is no question that John Wall is one of the ten or so most talented players in the game. However, the key here is to be able to separate talent from game. Is John Wall one of the best gamers in the league?

After last night’s performance, it’s tough to say. Could you definitely say that you’d rather start a team with John Wall than Isaiah Thomas right now? Sure, Wall is bigger, faster, stronger, yada, yada, yada. But he’s not a draft prospect who’s measurables even matter — at this point in Wall’s career, the only thing that matters is what happens in the game.

Does this mean I’d definitively take Thomas over Wall right now? Not necessarily — in fact, I’d still probably take Wall. But what this does mean, is that for the time being, Wall is out of the discussion for being one of the NBA’s elite players. Again, there’s no questioning whether he’s one of the game’s most talented, but at what point has a player become all he can be? What if this season was the highest peak John Wall will ever reach.

I don’t want to hear about the Wizards lack of point guard death and John Wall running out of steam, I can guarantee that the Irving’s, the Westbrook’s, the Curry’s, hell, and even the Thomas’ of the world wouldn’t have gone scoreless in the fourth quarter of a Game 7. I can guarantee that the elite players in the game would go to the line more than TWICE in a Game 7 (Wall from 1/2 from the line for the ENTIRE GAME). Combine that with him shooting 35% from the field and 12% (1/8) from 3, and you have a player who flat out choked. How, as one of the quickest, most agile players in the league, do you only go to the line once, yet take eight 3’s? His jump shot was off, yet he refused to drive to the paint.

I understand that this is a prisoner of the moment-type scenario, and I’m aware that Wall is probably going to come back an even better player next year. But that doesn’t change the fact that, for the time being, he is not one of the game’s elite players.
