Hannah McMurphy will be representing Miss Alabama USA at the upcoming Miss USA pageant. McMurphy was preceded by 2018 Hannah Brown, who was a contestant on season 23 of The Bachelor and the star of season 15 of The Bachelorette.
The 21-year-old native of Tuscaloosa is currently a professional makeup artist.
According to her official bio, Hannah is “passionate about sharing her personal story of turning hurtful situations into valuable lessons, and brings understanding and clarity to those who struggle with verbal and emotional abuse.”

Miss USA takes place Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. It will be the 68th Miss USA pageant, and the second pageant to be held concurrently with the Miss Teen USA competition. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place on a yet-to-be-determined date in South Korea. The reigning Miss Universe is Catriona Gray, who represented the Philippines, while Miss USA going to Nebraska’s Sarah Rose Summers.
