Cheslie Kryst will be representing Miss North Carolina USA at the upcoming Miss USA pageant. Chelsie was preceded by Caelynn Miller-Keyes, last year’s first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant who was also a former Miss Virginia Teen USA and contestant on season 23 of The Bachelor.
Cheslie attended Wake Forest University where she obtained her law degree and MBA. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina.
She was also a member of the South Carolina track and field team, competing in the heptathlon, long jump, and triple jump.

Miss USA takes place Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. It will be the 68th Miss USA pageant, and the second pageant to be held concurrently with the Miss Teen USA competition. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place on a yet-to-be-determined date in South Korea. The reigning Miss Universe is Catriona Gray, who represented the Philippines, while Miss USA going to Nebraska’s Sarah Rose Summers.
