Tianna Tuamoheloa will be representing Miss Nevada USA at the upcoming Miss USA pageant. Tianna was preceded by 2018 winner Carolina Urrea, who was the second runner-up in the Miss USA competition a year ago. The last time Miss Nevada USA won the Miss USA crown was 2014 when Nia Sanchez brought home the honor. She went on to earn first runner-up at Miss Universe.
Tianna is a former athlete and also has a passion for singing. When she was just 16 years old, President Barack Obama invited Tiana to perform at the White House.
Away from pageantry, Tiana works with the National Alliance on Mental Illness in Southern Nevada which is dedicated “to improving the quality of life for people with mental illnesses and their families through support, education, and advocacy.”

Miss USA takes place Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. It will be the 68th Miss USA pageant, and the second pageant to be held concurrently with the Miss Teen USA competition. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place on a yet-to-be-determined date in South Korea. The reigning Miss Universe is Catriona Gray, who represented the Philippines, while Miss USA going to Nebraska’s Sarah Rose Summers.
