What makes Coachella unlike any other music festival in the world is that it’s just as much of a brand as it is a concert. It’s an idea.
Oddly enough, what makes Coachella great can best be described by a quote from the dystopian political thriller film V For Vendetta.
“We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten, but 400 years later, an idea can still change the world. I’ve witnessed first hand the power of ideas, I’ve seen people kill in the name of them, and die defending them… but you cannot kiss an idea, cannot touch it, or hold it… ideas do not bleed, they do not feel pain, they do not love.”
The idea of beautiful weather and even more beautiful women. The idea of taking fire Instagram photos and getting hundreds of likes. The idea of nothing to worry about except for the next sext for two weekends.
That’s what makes Coachella great.
Oh, and also world famous pop stars prancing around in practically nothing hooking up with their girlfriends. That definitely helps the aurora of Coachella, too.
Beer, the 20-year-old Long Island-born pop star known for being discovered by Justin Beiber, seems poised to take the crown of world’s biggest pop star off Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez any day now.
This isn’t the first time that Madison Beer has absolutely snapped this year, as some of her IG stories from late March were also some of the biggest social media flexes we’ve seen in some time.
At this point, you’d be foolish not to follow Beer on Instagram, as it’s only a matter of time until she becomes a Coachella headliner herself.
