Q-Money, a rapper based out of Cleveland, Ohio, is wanted in Georgia for allegedly shooting an unidentified man in the head on Monday, April 15. According to the report from Cleveland.com, the two men knew each other because they were both up-and-coming rappers from the Cleveland area.

Dekalb County police spokesman Sgt. J.D. Spencer said that Q-Money, whose real name is Qamar Williams, is charged with murder.

The victim was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to the right side of his head.

While police have yet to identify the victim, the report says a man living in the home rushed downstairs after he heard a gunshot. That’s when he claims to have spotted Q-Money standing over the victim. Williams was then forced out of the house and locked the doors. Two guns were in the kitchen when police responded along with multiple shell casings.

The report adds:

A man who lived in the home told police he heard a gunshot, grabbed his gun and ran downstairs, the police report says. He told police that he saw Williams with a gun in his hand standing over the 24-year-old man’s body, police reports say. He asked Williams what happened and Williams only stuttered “I” several times, according to police reports. The 24-year-old man ran upstairs and woke up a 23-year-old roommate, telling him that “Q had done something,” police reports say.

Surveillance cameras were working at the time of the incident, so it is possible that the murder was captured on camera.

In July 2018, a major incident broke out during the filming of Williams’ music video for the song “Neat.” A fight broke out between two women before gunfire erupted. 27-year-old Cortez Ruffin was the man who open-fired, but he died several days after the shooting. Six others were injured in the shooting.
