Khalid is back with his highly-anticipated second studio album Free Spirit which dropped on Friday, April 5 through RCA Records. The album is a follow-up to his 2018 EP Suncity. Along with the album, Khalid dropped a short film directed by Emil Nava.
The album features 17 tracks with “Talk” serving as the lead single. The album also features the singles “Better” and “Saturday Night” which were previously released on the 2018 EP. Khalid also previously released promotional singles like “My Bad,” “Self,” and “Don’t Pretend.”
Free Spirit features a whopping 17 tracks for a runtime of nearly one hour, with the lone features coming from Safe and John Mayer.
