Marvel fans are anxiously awaiting the premiere of Avengers: Endgame. Unfortunately, some big moments from the upcoming Marvel film may have just been given away thanks to the Spanish voice actor who portrays Rocket Raccoon.
The actor, Sergio Zurita, recently appeared in an interview with MVS Noticias when he revealed some major information about a “key character” in the Marvel Universe.
SPOILER ALERT: Do not continue reading if you wish to avoid any information about ‘Avengers: Endgame.’
“I can tell you that the movie takes you from laughter to tears. A key character dies,” he said during the interview, as translated by BGR. “I can not say more… it’s too much. I do not know if I already said too much.”
Fans have previously speculated that Captain America or Iron Man could meet their ultimate fate in the upcoming film, with the contracts of Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. set to expire. Evans also added to the fire when he sent out a tweet that was a virtual farewell to his character.
“Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least,” Evans wrote. “Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”
And while Zurita says that he may have “said too much,” he went on to add that Thor makes an “irreversible” decision.
“There are irreversible things,” Zurita noted. “Very interesting, very interesting what happens with Thor.”
The movie will star Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Benedict Cumberbatch, and more. At the time of its release, it will be the 22nd film in the 11-year old Marvel Cinematic Universe. Avengers: Endgame, the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War is due out in theaters on May 3, 2019. It is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Infinity War.
