UFC president Dana White has been known to leave enormous tips when he visits casinos along the Las Vegas strip. But he’s also a charitable guy when it comes to sweets. After seeing an adorable pitch from UFC strawweight Michelle Waterson’s daughter Araya, White decided to load up on some Girl Scout cookies.
Araya, the self-proclaimed “Cookie Boss,” took to Instagram to ask Dana if he would be interested in helping her reach her goal of $2,000, while also offering up her help in case “Mr. White” ever needs some help keeping fighters in line.
Check out the adorable pitch and see if you would be able to resist.
Dana saw the video, and immediately offered to help out.
“This is the cutest sales pitch I’ve ever seen in my life!!! This is [Michelle Waterson]’s daughter,” he wrote on Twitter. “I’m going to buy 1000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies!”
Of course, that is easier said than done. But as it turns out, Dana White really did come through with his promise, as confirmed by Michelle Waterson during UFC on ESPN 2 Media Days — because that’s where all of the important questions are answered.
Tip of the hat to ole Uncle Dana. And if you have an extra few boxes of Thin Mints to unload shoot me a message.
Waterson, who is riding a two-fight winning streak, returns to action on Saturday, March 30 against former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC on ESPN 2 in Philadelphia.
