The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to Denver, Colorado on Saturday, November 10 to celebrate the promotion’s 25th anniversary at UFC Fight Night 139. The night of fights at the Pepsi Center featured a throwback logo and original UFC graphics to pay tribute to the early days of the company.
In the main event, a thrilling featherweight matchup between Yair Rodriguez and “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung capped off the night.
The night ended with a buzzer-beating knockout with an amazing, never-before-seen elbow by Rodriguez.
Donald Cerrone took on Mike Perry in the co-main event, earning a submission victory which put his name in the UFC record books with the most wins all-time and most submission victories in UFC history.
