The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to its roots on Saturday, November 10 for UFC Fight Night 139 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. The event is headlined by a thrilling featherweight scrap between “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung and the always-exciting Yair Rodriguez. In the co-main event, fan favorite Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone takes on “Platinum” Mike Perry.
The Korean Zombie is making his first appearance inside of the Octagon since a February 4, 2017 win over Dennis Bermudez in the main event of UFC Fight Night 104. TKZ earned a first-round knockout which earned him a $50,000 bonus for Fight of the Night. Rodriguez, meanwhile, is returning for the first time since a UFC 211 loss to Frankie Edgar on May 13, 2017. Rodriguez’s loss to Edgar marked his first loss in the UFC and his first professional defeat in five years.
