The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to the Big Apple for UFC 230 on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City. It marks the third time in the promotion’s history that the UFC will host an even at Madison Square Garden, and the first since a championship triple-header on Nov. 4, 2017 at UFC 217 which was headlined by a middleweight title fight between then-champion Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre.
The event is headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier vs. Derrick Lewis. The main event came together late, less than one month ahead of the pay-per-view event.
Along with the main event between Cormier and Lewis, the UFC 230 main card will include a co-main event between top middleweight contenders Chris Weidman and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, David Branch vs. Jared Cannonier, Jack Marshman vs. Karl Roberson, and the always-exciting Israel Adesanya vs. Derek Brunson to open the main card. The FOX Sports 1 featured preliminary bout will feature Jason Knight vs. Jordan Rinaldi.
