The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to pay-per-view on Saturday, November 3 for UFC 230. The event brings us a heavyweight championship bout between current titleholder Daniel Cormier and top contender Derrick Lewis at the world’s most famous arena, New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Lewis takes his shot at the two-division champ less than one month after his stunning come-from-behind knockout win over Alexander Volkov. Cormier, meanwhile, will make the first defense of his UFC heavyweight gold.
In the co-main event of the night, top middleweight contenders Chris Weidman and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza squared off with the hopes of earning the next title shot at 185-pounds.
