SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan comes out to intervene. Bryan stops Shane from firing the duo of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The GM tells Sami Zayn to “shut up” and then announces a Lumberjack match for later tonight, as The New Day will face off against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (who don’t seem like they appreciate this news).

Jey Uso fights out of the headlock once again. He drops Benjamin with a Samoan Drop. Jey rattles Benjamin with a running butt to the head. Benjamin exits the ring then Jey runs the ropes is about to perform a suicide dive, but Chad Gable jumps up on the apron and prevents the move. Jimmy Uso pulls Chad off the apron and hits him in the mouth. Jimmy is about to throw Gable into the barricade, but the move is reversed.

Meanwhile, Shelton Benjamin sneaks into the ring and attempts to roll up Uso for a quick win. Jey kicks out and then super-kicks Benjamin in the face. Jey goes for the cover, but Benjamin kicks out at 2. Jey ascends the top rope and attempts a big splash, but Benjamin moves.

The match ended in a matter of minutes. Luke Harper took out Zack Ryder in the opening moments of the match, as he was hit in the face with a big boot and then thrown into the steel steps. Meanwhile, in the ring, Harper and Rowan picked apart Mojo Rawley piece-by-piece. They took turns, tagging each other in and out, and laying waste to Rawley. Jinder Mahal appears on the titan-tron. He can’t make it to SmackDown because he’s too busy watching Styles being beaten by Brock Lesnar over and over again. Mahal says that he’ll invoke his rematch clause at a place better than Texas. He’ll fight Styles at the next pay-per-view Clash of Champions.

The Singh Brothers rush the ring outta nowhere and attack AJ Styles. However, Styles gains the upper-hand and dispatches of each Singh Brother. He then performs a Styles Clash on one Singh Brother in front of an enraged Jinder Mahal glaring at the ring from the large titan-tron screen.

Kofi goes for the cover, but Zayn kicks out at the count of 1. Kofi is once again thrown out to the wolves on the outside, but none of the lumberjacks attack him. KO and Zayn look frustrated. Kofi sends Sami sailing over the top rope onto of several lumberjacks. Corbin tries to attack Sami who moves out of the way. Corbin hits Roode instead and an all-out brawl ensues.
