I am not a fan of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. In fact, I pretty much hate all of them. But I do respect them. Why? Because they’ve managed to parlay a name and a sex tape into a sprawling multifaceted lucrative empire. You simply can’t knock their hustle.
None of the family’s success would have been possible without the matriarch, Kris Jenner. She’s the puppet master pulling the strings. She’s the Momager. Kris oversees the family’s clothing, beauty and entertainment contracts while keeping the money flowing.
But just how well has this manipulative mastermind done for herself?
Kris Jenner’s Net Worth as of 2017: $45 Million
But how did Jenner get here? Let’s take a look.

Following her divorce from Robert Kardashian, Kris married former Olympian Bruce Jenner in 1991. At the time, Jenner was past his athletic prime and earning a modest living as a motivational speaker. Kris took on the role of his manager and publicist and soon had name brands like Coca-Cola and Visa paying Jenner.
She significantly raised his profile as a motivational speaker and also created the workout video series Super Fit With Bruce and Kris Jenner which sold on infomercials.

In 2007, Kris’ daughter Kim Kardashian saw her sex tape “leaked” to the public. Seeing the publicity it generated, Kris scheduled a meeting with Ryan Seacrest to pitch him a new reality television series: Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The show would follow Kris and her family as their celebrity profiles grew.
Kris also became the business manager for her children, a role she continues in today.

Kris used the immense success of Keeping Up With The Kardashians to procure insanely profitable sponsorships and deals for each of her children. In 2010, she finalized a lucrative deal between Sketchers Shake-Ups and her family. That same year, Kris worked with The Sugar Factory to create the Kardashian-endorsed line of lollipops. Naturally, they sold for $25 a pop.
Woman knows how to wheel and deal, that’s for sure.

In addition, Kris started to build out the family’s profiles by booking hosting gigs, commercials, magazine covers and partnerships with alcohol brands such as Midori liqueur. The Momager also brokered book deals,, beauty line launches and even a video game deal. According to one estimation, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood earns the family as much as $200 million every year.
