The Cleveland Police Department is investigating a homicide at 635 East 93rd Street where suspect Steve Stephens broadcast the fatal shooting of an elderly man Sunday evening. Stephens is currently on the run from authorities.

What Happened?

Steve Stephens, 37, is suspected of fatally shooting an elderly man while broadcasting the killing on Facebook Live in Cleveland on Sunday evening. In the video, Stephens also claimed to have killed as many as 12 people, though that has not been confirmed.

Police released the following photos.

Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams said that no other victims of Stephens’ are known at this time.

“We’ve checked several locations that were either in the [Facebook Live] post itself or from information we got. So far there are no more victims tied to Steve and this incident,” said Williams.

Williams also asked for Stephens to turn himself in.

“What happened today is senseless,” he said. “I know, Steve, that you have a relationship with some of our clergy in Northeast Ohio. I encourage you to give them a call and then call us and turn yourself in.”

The victim of the shooting has been identified as Robert Goodwin, Sr., 74.

Local law enforcement in conjunction with federal and state authorities are searching for Stephens. An unconfirmed sighting of the suspect was reported outside of Philadelphia and police are looking into it.

“We know who he is and he will eventually be caught,” said Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson.

Who Is Steve Stephens?

Stephens, 37, is the main suspect in the shooting death of Robert Goodwin, Sr., which was broadcast on Facebook Live. Stephens claimed to have killed upwards of a dozen people. His vehicle is a white Ford Fusion with a temporary tag. He was last seen south of Interstate 90 in the area of East 93rd Street.

We’ve got an NL Central rivalry game on tap for tonight, as the Pittsburgh Pirates will travel to St. Louis to take on the Cardinals. Last year, the Cardinals just barely got the better of the Pirates, going 10-9 against them during 19 regular season meetings.

Taking the ball for Pittsburgh will be Ivan Nova. The 30-year-old righty was traded from the New York Yankees to the Pirates last August, and it seems to have been a fantastic move for Pittsburgh. In his 11 starts with the Pirates last year, Nova went 5-2 with a 3.06 ERA and 1.10 WHIP while striking out 52 batters over 64.2 innings. Through his first two starts of 2017, Nova has gone 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA and 1.17 WHIP, and he’s struck out five batters over 12.0 innings.

On the bump for the Cardinals will be Lance Lynn. The 29-year-old righty didn’t pitch at all in 2016, but before having to undergo Tommy John surgery, Lynn had some really solid seasons for St. Louis. From 2012 to 2015, Lynn never had an ERA higher than 3.97, and he never pitched less than 175.1 innings in a season. The 2012 All-Star has had a slow start coming out of the gate in 2017, going 0-1 in his first two starts with a 5.23 ERA and 1.45 WHIP while striking out eight batters over 10.1 innings.

We’re headed to Boston as the series picks up at a new venue going into game three. After the Bruins gave up a 3-1 lead in game two to the Senators, the game was forced into an overtime. With the overtime winning goal coming from Dion Phaneuf, the Senators were able to tie the series at one. The Bruins are back in their home city and are looking to correct their game two blunder with a win. With both games so far in the series being caused by one team’s blunder, it will be an interesting game to watch.

The Bruins looked great in the first two periods of game two. After winning game one and leading in the second game, it looked like the Bruins were going to win this series. However, past demons came out of the Boston team, as they failed to stop the Senators’ comeback. This is the story we have seen all year with this team, they seem to fail to be consistent, which will hurt their chances at winning the cup. Having a 3-1 lead should be a guaranteed win, not a possible loss. The Bruins need to win tonight’s game if they want to regain the prowess they had in the first game. After the Celtics had a disappointing game one loss to the Bulls, Boston fans are hoping that the Bruins will be able to win this game at home.

The Senators did not want to leave Ottawa with losing the series 2-0 to the Bruins, so the game two win was big for them. After giving up the lead and eventually losing game one, the Senators knew they had to prove they are a playoff-winning team. The comeback in game two was huge for the team and it showed that they can bring it on when under a lot of pressure. The win also showed that the Bruins can sometimes fly too close to the sun, which Ottawa can use to their advantage. It also seems like the Senators were using the Bruins’ own system against them as Boston was able to pull out the win in game one by relentlessly pushing on the Ottawa defense. By constantly forcing the puck into the Bruins’ zone, it tired out Rask and the Bruins’ defense, which led to the win. If the Bruins can adapt and fight back, then the Senators may easily win this series.

After watching both games, I have no doubt this series won’t be decided until game seven. These two teams have shown a lot of mistakes in both games, so the team that will win is the one that can take advantage of the others weakness. After two rounds in overtime, the Maple Leafs were able to take game two from the Capitals. This city is aching for the cup back, so winning this series is big for not just the Maple Leafs, but also for Toronto. If Game One proved anything, this Cavaliers-Pacers series could be a lot closer than some may have thought. The Cavaliers narrowly escaped from the Quicken Loans Arena with a win to start off the series. Game Two of this first round series is set to kick-off tonight in Cleveland.

The Cavaliers are yet to lose a playoff series after going up 2-0, so the Pacers are looking to even things up tonight and avoid the deficit. Bad news for Indiana, Lebron James has never lost an opening round series. Streaks are meant to be broken though, and the Pacers have shown they can stick with James and co.

In Game One, the Pacers were down by one with one possession to go. To the anger of Paul George, C.J. Miles took the last shot of the game, but could not convert. George felt there was no doubt that he should have had the ball on that last possession. If anything, that nail-biting 109-108 loss should still give the Pacers plenty of hope.

James had no issues against the Indiana defense, posting 32 points, 13 assists, and six rebounds. Kyrie Irving added another 23 points on the night. The Cavs gave up a 10 point lead at one point in the fourth quarter, and will certainly not be underestimating their opponent this time around.

“Witness” Preview

The San Antonio Spurs cruised to their first victory of the playoffs, going up 1-0 on the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies are going to need to make some serious changes to have a chance to even up the series tonight at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.

The spread is clearly in favor of the Spurs, who proved to be the much better team in the opening game of the series. San Antonio coasted throughout the course of the game, and finished off the Grizzlies by a score of 111-82. At one point, San Antonio had even gone on a 19-0 run between the third and fourth quarters to put things completely out of reach for Memphis.

The Spurs were led by their star Kawhi Leonard, who matched his playoff career high of 32 points. Leonard helped change the tide of the game when San Antonio actually fell behind by 13 points in the first quarter and the Spurs never looked back after getting out to a lead.

If the Grizzlies want a chance in Game Two, they’re going to need consistency and the type of play they showed in the first quarter. It won’t be an easy task against San Antonio, but Memphis has shown flashes of sticking around the Spurs.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison is has begun to roll out a pilot program to offer tampons free of charge in some of the men’s rooms on campus. As a result, the University of Wisconsin has become the third school in the country to offer tampons in the bathroom.

The free women’s hygiene products will be available in the women’s restrooms of three campus buildings: Helen C. White Hall, Sterling Hall, and The Red Gym. The Helen C. White and Sterling  Halls will have menstrual products carried in all of the women’s restrooms, while The Red Gym will carry them in all women’s, men’s and gender-neutral restrooms.

The idea originated in fall 2016 from Vice Chair Miriam Coker and Rep. Evan Pelke, who also worked on this project at a former internship. Rep. Katrina Morrison and Mara Matovich, the Shared Governance Committee campaign director, also participated in bringing the program to UW.

The project is based on similar programs run at other Big 10 schools such as the University of Michigan,  the University of Maryland, and Northwestern University. At this point, the Univeristy of Wisconsin, along with these three schools, are either in the process of implementing the program, have the pilot program already in place, or already have free menstrual products.

University of Wisconsin spokesman Steve Wagner said of the decision ‘menstrual products will be available in all of the bathrooms of the Red Gym so that they are available to any student who might need them.

The University of Wisconsin Associated Students of Madison are working to finalize the program with the university’s Vice Chancellor of Finance Administration and Facilities Planning and Management. The program will start as a pilot program no later than April 30, and will continue until December 2017.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. The Blackhawks just can’t seem to get their act together. After two big losses at home, Chicago is looking to try and even the series in Nashville. This team just seems out of sync and can’t seem to put the puck in the net. By giving up five goals in game two, it looks like the power has shifted over to the Predators. This game is not necessarily a do or die for the team, it is getting close, as only a few teams have come back from a 3-0 losing series. The Blackhawks are looking to return to form in this game as well as to prove why they are one of the Stanley Cup favorites to win it all.

Polie at Indiana University are investigating a reported rape at the Phi Delta Theta fraternity house.

The victim is a 21-year-old student, who reported the incident around 9:30 AM on Thursday, April 13. According to reports, the alleged rape happened on Wednesday, April 12, around 2:30 PM/ No information about a suspect has been released.

According to IU Police, this is the 7th reported forced sexual offense they are investigating this year. School police said as the temperature increases,  students are more likely to desire to party, binge drink, and do illegal drugs. Police are warning students to look out for friends during next weekends Little 500.

“Next weekend, we’ll have an emergency operations center set up where we’ll all be together and monitoring and being able to move resources around the community as needed,” Lt. Craig Monroe with IU Police said.

“We don’t actually have to do a report, we don’t need to pursue criminal charges, if the victim does not want that, but we will get you a pamphlet with some resources and try to get you medical and psychological attention,” Lt. Monroe added.

The university says if you feel you might be the victim of a sexual offense, you should contact police or another agency as soon as possible.

No further information about the case, victim, or suspect has been provided by the university police.

Lucy Hale, 27, is an American singer and actress best known for her role as Aria Montgomery on the Freeform TV series Pretty Little Liars.

Hale was born in Memphis, Tennessee and was homeschooled as a child. Obviously, though, she never could fulfill the “weird homeschooled kid” stigma when she looked like that. It’s impossible.

Hale moved to L.A. when she was 15 in an effort to start her music career. She started to audition for and win small roles on popular series such as Drake & Josh, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, The O.C., How I Met Your Mother and Wizards of Waverly Place. She also appeared in NBC’s short-lived Bionic Woman series and made her big screen debut in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.

So Hale slowly but surely was building a career as a working actress in her early years, but had yet to really break out. That would come in December 2009 when Pretty Little Liars came a calling. From that point, it was smooth sailing. Hale even leveraged her TV success into more music opportunities, releasing the album Road Between in June 2014.

News broke today that Carmelo Anthony and his wife LaLa are splitting up because Melo allegedly knocked up a stripper, sending shock waves through the sports and pop culture worlds.

During Future’s Saturday night set at Coachella, two dudes got into a violent fistfight. Usually music festivals like this are pretty peaceful, as everybody just wants to take a preposterous amount of drugs and chill out to some tunes. But somehow those positive vibes eluded these two gentlemen, who decided to throw down during Future’s set-closing performance of “Mask Off.”

What an ass beating. It was all over once the white guy got speared to the ground like that. The low man always wins, whether in an NFL collision or at music festival brawls. It’s simple physics.

As much as I enjoyed watching that video, I’m absolutely baffled as to how anybody could fight while “Mask Off” is playing. When that flute hits, all my troubles drift away and a grin covers my face from ear to ear.

It’s a feeling of pure joy, which is why my favorite part of the video was actually when the crowd didn’t miss a beat belting out “PERCOCET, MOLLY, PERCOCET!!!” The show must go on, and you can’t let some dipshits fighting ruin the banger of the century.

Ashley Benson, 27, is an American actress and model (duh, just look at her) best known for her role as Hanna Marin on the Freeform TV series Pretty Little Liars.

Benson was born in Anaheim, California and started dancing competitively in ballet, jazz, hip hop and lyrical at age four. Clearly, the performance bug bit her early. She started modeling in dance catalogs at age five and signed with The Ford Modeling Agency at age eight. But Benson really started her career in 1999.

Benson booked a handful of commercials in those early years, but quickly made the transition into TV and film where the real prestige (read: money) is found. In 2004, she signed a three-year contract with NBC for the daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives. She also appeared in movies such as 13 Going on 3o (2004) and Bring It On: In It To Win It (2007).

But Benson’s big break came in December 2009 when she landed the Pretty Little Liars. PLL is now in its seventh season and has become quite the popular series among teenagers and young adults. This has helped Benson land other opportunities as well, such as Spring Breakers (2012) and How I Met Your Mother (2013).

Carmelo Anthony has had a real rough April.

First, the Knicks closed out a wildly disappointing 2016-2017 campaign, filled with losses, internal frustration, and trade rumors.

Then, he was ranked as the 67th player in the league, a shocking fall from grace for the former top 5 player. And is if that wasn’t enough, Knicks president Phil Jackson came out and threw Melo under the bus, saying the team would be better out without him.

But the misfortune didn’t end there for Melo, although to be fair, the final blow was all his doing. News broke that Carmelo and his wife LaLa had separated after it had been discovered that Carmelo impregnated a stripper, who is now six and a half months pregnant.

Why Melo thought knocking up a stripper at this stage in his life was a good idea is beyond us, but we figured it provides us with the opportunity to appreciate the woman that he didn’t: LaLa.

Drake is pretty infamous for his romantic entanglements. Over the years, he’s been linked to big names such as Rihanna, Serena Williams and Nicky Minaj. Now, however, the rapper is being tied to former stripper Layla Lace.

Huh?

Lace took to Instagram on Monday to accuse Drake of getting her pregnant and then ghosting her (classic rapper move). She wrote: “So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude you pregnant they stop answering they phone!!!! One lesson I have learned out of the whole situation is to never be so naive when a guy disrespect you!!”

Lace continued her rant by calling out Drake’s shiny image in the media, saying: “I should have ran for the hills but no I felt (sic) for the ‘Good Guy’ image that this a*s hole portrayed to be. What a #Fraud I feel so stupid!!! I never told this man ‘No’ I did everything he told me to do Smfh!!!!”

Lace claims she had a fling with the singer/rapper earlier this year and were introduced to one another by his friend DJ Spade.

“I had to remind my self that this man was once a ‘Actor’ So why the hell did I fall for his bullsh*t,” she added, “What makes matters worst is that when you try to be private about sh*t and keep ya mouth shut nobody cares!!! It’s ashame (sic) that I even have to come out of my character!!!”  Lace also included a very clear “F*CK YOU DRAKE” to ensure her message was not misunderstood.

Of course, these allegations have yet to be confirmed. But Lace saw fit to attach photos to her Instagram post (before it was taken down), including text messages between the two of them and paperwork regarding the pregnancy. The texts are dated “February 25th” and “March 8th,” and seem to support Lace’s story that her and Drake were an item. The rapper has yet to comment.

In other baby mama news, Carmelo Anthony and Lala are splitting up after he New York Knicks star allegedly impregnated a dancer/stripper.

So, yeah, not a great time to be rich and famous.
