Hollywood Hills High School in Hollywood, Florida has been placed on lockdown Wednesday morning. Officials have confirmed that this is the result of a social media threat shared on Twitter.

Hollywood Hills High School has been placed on lockdown following a social media threat made on Twitter. The school is currently on what they classify as a “Code Yellow.” Police have not yet identified who originally made the threat on Twitter. However, police are on the scene investigating.

A Boward County Public Schools representative said that lockdown is a precaution.

Hollywood Hills High School houses roughly 2,300 students from grades 9-12. The school contains Small Learning Communities with focused course work. It is a public school with an average class size of 30 students.

Benfica and Borussia Dortmund resume their Champions League round-of-16 matchup

In last year’s Champions League, Benfica made it all the way to the quarterfinals before losing to Bayern Munich 3-2 (aggregate). As for Borussia Dortmund, they didn’t even play in the Champions League last year, instead participating in the Europa League. They advanced to the quarterfinals before getting sent home by Liverpool via a 5-4 (aggregate) score.

Dortmund, who are currently third in the Bundesliga, are without winger Marco Reus after he tore his left hamstring in Saturday’s 6-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen. They are also without Sven Bender, Sebastian Rode and Mario Gotze.

As for Benfica, Brazilian midfielder Filipe Augusto is expected to return from an ankle injury. Benfica have won seven straight, including their first-leg win over Dortmund, and have scored seven goals in their four matches since then.

Dortmund needs to defeat Benfica by at least two goals to advance to expect an exciting game. Find out how to live stream it below!

The Big Ten conference is one of the more, ahem, unpredictable leagues in the country this season. Indiana opened the regular season with a stunning upset over Kansas, prompting some to pick the Hoosiers as Big Ten champions. Obviously, that didn’t happen.

Wisconsin then stepped into the void with a 10-1 Big Ten record…before losing five of its next six games. The turnover at the top allowed Purdue to get hot late in the season and claim a conference title.

The first trailer for Sony Pictures’ R-rated comedy Rough Night has just dropped. The movie stars Scarlett Johansson (Lucy), Jillian Bell (The Night Before), Ilana Glazer (Broad City), Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live), and Zoe Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road). Check out the Red Band preview below.

The story seems to borrow bits from films like Very Bad Things and The Hangover, as the comedy centers around a wild bachelorette party weekend in Miami gone horribly, horribly wrong. Amid the nuptial fun, a male stripper somehow ends up dead. Now these ladies need to figure out how to get themselves out of trouble.

Also appearing in the movie will be Demi Moore (Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle), Colton Haynes (Arrow), Ty Burrell (Modern Family), and Dean Winters (John Wick).

Written by Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs of Broad City and directed by Aniello, Rough Night (previous known as Rock That Body) is set to hit theaters on June 16.

After experts had time to sift through the latest Wikileaks dump, the biggest revelation to come out of the leak is that British spies helped the CIA find a way to convert ‘smart’ TVs into secret microphones. The codename for the program was allegedly “Weeping Angels.”

British intelligence agency MI5 worked with the CIA to develop software that convinced people their sets were switched off when in fact they were on and recording every word they said. The agency’s “Weeping Angel” program allegedly can capture audio but not video.

According to WikiLeaks, even when the television is turned off, it can ‘operate as a bug, recording conversations in the room and sending them over the internet to a covert CIA server.’ Similarly, while the units are in what’s referred to as “fake-off mode,” the screen appears to be off and the LEDs on the front of the set dim as if you’d turned off your TV.

The attack against Samsung smart TVs was developed in cooperation with the United Kingdom’s MI5/BTSS. After infestation, Weeping Angel places the target TV in a ‘Fake-Off’ mode, so that the owner falsely believes the TV is off when it is on. In ‘Fake-Off’ mode the TV operates as a bug, recording conversations in the room and sending them over the Internet to a covert CIA server.

WikiLeaks says the information dump, which they called ‘Vault 7, Year Zero,’ exposed the agency’s entire ‘hacking tool-kit.’ This leak is an even bigger and more substantial breach of U.S. intelligence than Edward Snowden’s.

Furthermore, the leaks reveal that the CIA has been looking into infecting the vehicle control systems used by modern cars and trucks. While Wikileaks points out that the purpose of such control is not specified, it would permit the CIA to engage in virtually undetectable assassinations.

A CIA spokesperson said of the issue: “We do not comment on the authenticity or content of purported intelligence documents.”

According to yesterday’s massive Wikileaks info dump, Samsung smart TVs are reportedly susceptible to CIA hacks. Yeah, it’s some real life Jason Bourne stuff.

If the Wikileaks-hosted files are to be believed, the CIA has a TV malware program called Weeping Angel that may have been created during a collaboration with the agency’s British counterparts, MI5, back in 2014. The program would run like a normal TV App (think YouTube), but would also capture audio in the background (not video). It can also recover the WiFi keys used by the TV to later gain access to WiFi networks and any username/passwords stored on the TV browser.

“The tool appears to be under active development. The capabilities it boasts cannot currently capture video, according to the leaked docs,” Matthew Hickey, a security researcher and co-founder of Hacker House, said. “But that is a goal of the project. It can record audio but it does not stream it in real-time to the CIA. Instead it copies it off the TV as files.”

How do you protect yourself from ‘Weeping Angel’ hack?

Hickey said updating the TV could disrupt the CIA’s surveillance, as no evidence suggests that the Weeping Malware runs on the latest firmware. As noted in one of Wikileaks’ files: “Updating firmware over internet may remove implant (not tested) or portions of the implant…Firmware version 1118+ eliminated the current USB installation method.”

Having said that, the same engineering notes includes a feature to “prevent updates,” meaning the CIA may have found a way to stop the Samsung device from updating automatically. Again, this all unconfirmed at the moment.

This is not the first time the Samsung Smart TV security features have come under fire. The FBI had previously successfully searched the Samsung TV of a suspect as part of an investigation into child sex abuse material, according to Forbes. In 2015, Samsung was suspected of sharing conversations recorded by the TV with third parties.

The annual shareholders meeting for The Walt Disney Company went down in Denver Wednesday and the highlight of the meeting was a screening of the very first The Last Jedi footage. We’re all Peanut Butter and Jelly right now.

Disney CEO Bob Iger unveiled the footage for those in attendance. The clip is said to pick up from the final moments of The Force Awakens when Rey hands Luke the lightsaber. The LA Times reports that the clip sees Luke finally deliver a line of dialogue, asking Rey “Who are you?” before accepting his weapon.

Additional footage was shown that featured Chewbacca, General Leia Organa, and Finn, as well as a handful of different settings (mountains, oceans, forests, deserts). There was also a clip of “an X-Wing wobbling mid-air, under attack inside a giant ship.”

In the 2017 SEC Tournament, the top four seeds were given double byes, meaning that #1 Kentucky, #2 Florida, #3 Arkansas, and #4 South Carolina are already in the quarterfinals. At long last, we know what the Big 12 tournament bracket for 2017 is going to look like.

The tournament will take place in Kansas City with Kansas – the league-winner by a crazy margin of four games – taking on the winner of TCU vs. Oklahoma.

The Big 12 tournament will tip off on Wednesday before concluding in the title game on Saturday night. West Virginia has been assigned the No. 2 seed while Baylor is the No. 3 seed.

Kansas has earned a top-two seed in the league tournament a staggering 17 times over the past 21 years. Coach Bill Self has major bragging rights as the leader of the league’s top standing team for 13 consecutive seasons, something no other coach in NCAA Division I men’s basketball has ever done.

The Jayhawks won the Big 12 tournament as well as in 2013. Iowa State claimed the top spot in the two years in between. WVU only joined the conference four seasons ago and Baylor has never won the Big 12 tourney before.

The 2017 SEC tournament bracket saw a little rearranging following the final day of the regular season.

Vanderbilt may have scored a win over Florida, but it didn’t do much to change their conference standing as Kentucky has had the No. 1 seed locked up for some time. However, the victory did help Vanderbilt stake a claim for a spot in the NCAA tournament. Their win coupled with Arkansas’ W against Georgia gives the SEC a real shot at sneaking five teams into the NCAA tournament.

Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina and Arkansas are the top four seeds and guaranteed to make the field of 68. They’ll have off until the quarterfinals begin on Friday. Vanderbilt (No. 7) and Georgia (No. 8) need to win at least two games to get mentioned on Selection Sunday.

The SEC tournament will begin on Wednesday.

The Dallas Cowboys are set to release quarterback Tony Romo, making it the perfect time to examine the 36-year-old’s career earnings and net worth. As the oft-injured and aging gunslinger heads into the unknown, it’s interesting to see how he’s positioned financially. What happens if he never plays another down in the NFL? Tony Romo’s Net Worth as of 2017: $90 Million

But how did Romo get here? Let’s take a look.

2003 – 2008

In 2003, Tony Romo went undrafted before signing with the Dallas Cowboys. At the time, the minimum salary for undrafted free agents hovered around $300,000 with annual increases. A three-year deal for an undrafted free agent could top out at around $1.575 million.

Romo did not attempt a pass in a regular season game until 2006.

2008 – 2013

In 2008, Romo signed a six-year contract worth $67.5 million. The deal included $24 million in guaranteed money, an $11.5 million signing bonus and an annual average salary of $11.25 million.

The contract was restructured by the Cowboys several times in order to free up salary cap room. This led to some of Romo’s non-guaranteed money being converted to guaranteed signing bonus cash.

2008: $5.895 million
2009: $6.38 million
2011: $8.19 million
2012 Option Bonus: $8.175 million

During this time, Romo also received between $3 million to $5 million per year in endorsements.

2013 – Present

In 2013, Romo re-signed with the Cowboys on a six-year deal worth $108 million, the largest contract in Cowboys history. His deal included $55 million guaranteed, a $25 million signing bonus and an annual average salary of $18 million.

In 2014, the Cowboys restructured Romo’s deal, converting $12.5 million into guaranteed money. In 2015, his deal was again restructured, earning him $16 million over five years. Romo also earned roughly $5 million in endorsements that year.

Although the Cowboys are releasing Romo, he will still be paid $14.5 million by the Cowboys in 2017.

We set out to find America’s coolest college girl – AKA Miss COED 2017 – nearly a year ago, and today we’ve crowned a winner! This finalist managed to beat out hundreds of contestants through a series of rounds and proved she has the most school spirit… and the best support system, TBH. For months, her family, friends, sorority sisters, and readers like you have not only showed their support on social media, but also voted daily and now it’s paid off.

So without further ado… Congratulations to Maggie Arceneaux from Tulane University! 

Maggie proved to be a strong contender from the start of the Miss COED 2017 competition, and with her outgoing personality and let’s be honest, flawless good looks, she was going to be tough to beat. Second place finisher Brittany Love almost gave her a run for her money, but she managed to hold her own right up until the very end.

Yet Maggie has proved to be far more than just a pretty face. In fact, she’s smart AF. The junior at Tulane University in the heart of New Orleans is majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Psychology. She’s on a pre-dental track and hopes to attend dental school after graduation to ultimately become an orthodontist.

The Lafayette, Louisiana native is also a member of (brace yourselves – this is long) Chi Omega, Pre-Dental Society, Science and Engineering Honor Society, Woman in Science, TUNA – Tulane University Neuroscience Association, Public Health Society, Tulane Catholic, and Tulane Healthy Veggie Club. In other words, she’s awesome.

Back in August, Maggie said she wanted to be Miss COED 2017 because:

I am ready for this new, incredible opportunity that will extend even beyond campus life. I want to serve as a representative for not only Tulane University but female students everywhere. Since I began college, I have started to become a much more well-rounded individual, and I would like to continue to do so through this exciting new adventure! Just like every student, I am looking to get the most out of my college career and I think that we need to build more positive reputations. Some see college students as lazy, immature party animals, and I hope to set a new standard through which these individuals see that this is not the case! We have all worked so hard to get to where we are today, and we know that we must continue this hard work to get to where we are meant to be and to accomplish what we were meant to accomplish. And sometimes we just have to let our hair down a little bit and enjoy the moment! College doesn’t last forever, but I fully intend to make the most out of it, and I hope to be the example in doing so as Miss COED 2017!

We’re SO happy to pass the crown from last year’s awesome winner, Kendall Fuhrman, to Maggie, and from USC to Tulane.

HUGE shoutout to all of the Miss COED 2017 hopefuls who applied and to those who made it through to the finals. We can’t thank each and every one of you enough for all that you did throughout the competition. You all rock and we wish you the best in your college careers! Keep in touch! Two teams remain in the 2017 Patriot League Tournament, as the Bucknell Bison will take on the Lehigh Mountain Hawks in the championship game. The winner will earn an automatic bad to the NCAA Tournament, so the stakes couldn’t possibly be any higher.

Bucknell earned the #1 seed in the Patriot Leauge Tournament after winning the regular season title with a 15-3 record in conference play. To get to the championship game, the Bison beat #8 Army 78-62 in the quarterfinals and #4 Navy 70-65 in the semifinals.

Lehigh came into the tournament as the #3 seed. The Mountain Hawks were tied with Boston University for second in the Patriot League in the regular season with 12-6 records, but they lost the tiebreaker due to their 0-2 mark against the Terriers. That wouldn’t matter to Lehigh in the slightest, as they beat #6 Colgate 77-72 in the quarterfinals and #2 Boston in a 91-88 double-overtime thriller in the semifinals.

The Mountain Hawks swept the Bison during the regular season, beating them 82-71 on the road and 79-71 at home. I’ll most definitely be rooting for Lehigh to pick up one more W over Bucknell, as any school that sends Duke home in the first round will always hold a special place in my heart.
