Confirmed: iPhone 7 Plus will have two cameras.
Apple’s event begins with a video of CEO Tim Cook singing with James Corden in a Carpool Karaoke type video.

App Store. “Over a 140 billion apps have been downloaded from the App Store… in the last two months we’ve seen growth rates of over 100 percent year over year.”
Cook says users still love apps, downloads have grown 106 percent in last two months, year over year.

Apple Pay now supports Felica payments in Japan.
New chip called A10 Fusion in the iPhone 7. 64-bit four-core processor. “It is a rocket ship.” 40x faster than A9 in the 6S, 2x faster than the A8. 120x faster than the original iPhone. Two high-efficiency cores that run at 1/5th the power. Low-power apps run on the efficiency cores, all automatically controlled by a new power controller.
New GPU as well. 240x faster than the original iPhone.
