Four Auburn University football players were arrested Saturday night for marijuana possession. Sophomores Byron Cowart, Carlton Davis III, Ryan Davis and Jeremiah Dinson were taken into custody at 11 p.m. Saturday night by the Auburn police department on charges of marijuana possession in the second degree.

According to Opelika-Auburn News, the charge isn’t too harsh, but it can still affect their college career.

Second degree marijuana possession is listed under Alabama Code – Section 13A-12-214 as a person who commits the crime if said person possesses marijuana for personal use only. It’s listed as a Class A misdemeanor. A Class A misdemeanor in the state of Alabama can be sentenced to not more than a year in jail and up to a $6,000 fine.

“I am aware of the situation and we will handle this matter appropriately,” Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn said in a statement provided to the Opelika-Auburn News.

According to The Plainsman,

Davis was named the SEC All-Freshman team after solidifying his spot as one of the better cornerbacks in the league last season. Cowart was the No. 1 overall recruit in the nation for the class of 2015, but had struggled in his first year with the Tigers. Dinson saw significant playing time in 2015, but he suffered season-ending injuries agains Texas A&M. Davis wasn’t utilized as much his first year, but the receiver was earning the praise of teammates and coaches alike during spring practice.

Will they be suspended from the team? Doubtful, but only time will tell.

According to a recent article published by the Washington Post, 23 people have been shot by toddlers in the United States since the beginning of 2016. Out of those 23, 11 of the shootings were fatal, and nine cases involved toddlers accidentally shooting themselves.

So how many people were shot by Muslim terrorists in the United States so far this year? Zero.

So far, no one has called for a “temporary ban” on babies leaving the hospitals in which they were born. Mic recently suggested that more “gun-friendly” states — including Missouri, Georgia, Florida and Texas — saw higher rates of toddler-related gun violence because guns are more readily available there. This is far from a definitive answer, but regardless, the threat appears to be growing: Over the same four-month period last year, only 18 people were shot by toddlers in the U.S.

Coastal Carolina is currently on lockdown after a fatal shooting happened off-campus. Here’s everything you need to know about the school’s nearby shooting and sudden lockdown.

What happened at Coastal Carolina?

Today there was a shooting at off-campus housing The Cove, where one victim was confirmed dead Monday afternoon. The housing was close to Coastal Carolina’s campus and several students live there, despite it not being directly associated with the school.

According to Lt. Selena Small of the Conway Police Department, “Today at approximately 3:25 p.m. officers of Conway Police Department responded to The Cove Apartments located at 1142 Highway 544 in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located one male victim that was deceased from his injuries.”

The incident apparently occurred outside in the building’s parking lot. One suspect is in custody, but according to The Chanticleer, one suspect is still at large.

Reactions to the Shooting

The campus is currently on lockdown. School officials are urging students and faculty to remain inside and report and suspicious behavior.

Finals for today are cancelled until further notice.

The 19-year-old student from Mesa, Arizona’s Red Mountain High School is currently in deep sh*t after playing the dumbest prank of all time; Osborn faces 69 counts of indecent exposure after authorities say he flashed his wang in the football team’s yearbook photo. Brilliant!

According to the New York Daily News,

The stiff punishment accounts for each person present at a photoshoot where Osborn let his penis hang out over the waistband of his football pants in the now-tarnished photo obtained by the TV station.

He also faces one felony count of furnishing harmful items to minors.

Osborn defended the brazen stunt to police as a dare by his teammates.

This is the perfect “I don’t give a f*ck what your friends are doing, I care what you’re doing” situation my parents always tried explaining to me when I was in high school. Hey Hunter, if your idiot friends dared you to stab someone in the face, would you do that too?!

To make things even worse, the prank went unnoticed for months and was published in promotional material distributed to guests at football games throughout the year. The NY Daily News insists it was because Osborn’s member was “overshadowed by a sea of red uniforms,” but we’re convinced it was more related to Donald Trump’s little problem.

Not only does this suck for the high school, but it also sucks for Hunter Osborn. At least have something to show off, amirite?

After school officials got their heads out of their a**es and noticed the photo for what it was, they called police and recalled the yearbook. Obviously they were pissed –after all, it was printed 250 times — but students came to Osborn’s defense.

“I thought it was kind of a dumb prank he did,” Zach Anthony told KNXV-TV. “…I don’t think he deserved to have his life ruined.” Yes Zach, that’s very enlightening. Thank you.

The video was eventually deleted after a poster who went to school with the boy explained how he had severe social issues. The cleaner’s parents Kent Farrell and Amanda Kramer also came to his defense and slammed the rapper for being so ignorant.

“[Andrew is] very upset,” his mother explained to WLWT5. “The more I thought about it, the more upset I got, the madder I got. This could hurt him for the future. I think he needs to retract it and I would like for him to make a public apology.”

Farrell’s father added, “To put this video out there saying my son is on drugs or whatever, that is part of his social anxiety. He’s not wanting to talk, he’s not wanting to communicate, he’s walking on and he’s doing his job.”

A group of armed juveniles hijacked a bus in the Metro DC area this morning. According to reports, some of the armed suspects stabbed the bus driver with a screwdriver. None of the passengers were harmed. The bus driver is currently at the hospital.

Update–11:44 AM: We now know the suspect was actually a single adult male, not juveniles. He stabbed the driver with a pair of needle nose pliers, not a screwdriver.

The police stopped the bus on the 4200 block of Minnesota Ave NE. At least one of the suspects are in custody.

What Happened?

According to reports, one suspect (an adult male) hijacked a WMATA bus this morning. Apparently he stabbed the bus driver with a needle nose plier in the neck the driver attempted to exit the vehicle. At that moment, a few of the passengers on the bus ran.

Afterwards, the bus was hijacked. During the ensuing joy ride, the adult male apparently hit a bus full of senior citizens. The senior citizens are apparently OK.

Afterwards, the bus allegedly hit a pedestrian who was dragged. That person later died.

The suspect is now in custody and was taken to the hospital, according to D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier. Lanier continued to say “It’s a bizzare incident. The whole incident occurred in less than three minutes.”

Where Did The Hijacking Occur?

It’s not known exactly where the suspect got onto the bus, but the whole incident didn’t last all that long.

Everyone’s favorite hackers have had quite a few targets over the years, the most recent being GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. After outwardly declaring war on the presidential prospect, the group of nameless hacker geniuses unleashed a slew of personal information to the public. It was rough and naturally, he was pissed. But now, a sector of the hacker group have focused their attention on a different target: the Black Lives Matter organization.

It’s a surprising move, but with a group like this, you never know what to expect.

Late last week Ghost Squad Hackers, which spawned from the mega Anonymous group, claimed to briefly take down the official Black Lives Matter organization site, writing that BLM is actually a hate group and that all lives matter.

Seems kind of random considering the larger organization has supported BLM causes in the past:

So what’s going on? According to Mic, who recently had a private chat with founder Sc0rp10n Gh0s7, “Black Lives Matter is moving against anonymous members and we don’t like that.” They also warned of upcoming attacks.

Another member, Twitter user @_s1ege, told HackRead,

We targeted the Black Lives Matter Movement. We have been watching several members of their movement hold racist signs and attack innocent individuals over cultural appropriation while speaking English.

I, s1ege, started this operation after attacking the KKK [because] I realised the individuals in the Black Lives Matter movement were acting no better – some even promote genocide of the Caucasian race. This will not be tolerated. What angered me and the other members of Ghost Squad was that the leaders also do not speak on this topic. This was not the dream of Martin Luther King Jr, and should not be supported or promoted by any movement. All Lives Matter!

For some, the name might sound familiar — the group is solely responsibly for recently attacking NASA, Brazilian sites on an Internet freedom “hit list,” and the KKK, which is pretty bizarre considering the current situation.

Alright, we’re going to wager this is the weirdest story you’ll hear all day. It will also be the most amazing for obvious reasons.

A small village in Indonesia was exhilarated when a 21-year-old fisherman stumbled across a life-sized inflatable woman after a solar eclipse. Naturally he — and the rest of his crazed village — believed the fake woman was an angel that fell from heaven, because obviously.

Doesn’t that look like an angel to you? I mean, look at her! She’s forever young and beautiful with that plastic bod. And her face! It’s practically radiating a celestial glow. So it makes complete sense as to why the man took her home and had everyone treat her like a human being. The fisherman’s parents changed the doll’s clothes every day and cared for her better than they did him. Because hello?! She was given to them from God! She deserves good treatment.

They loved that SOB, so you can imagine how upset people were when they found out their beloved angel was just a sex toy. Reaaaallll bummer right there.

After police heard about the so-called miracle, they went to investigate, thus ruining everyone’s lives.

Ted Cruz is the Zodiac Killer—at least, according to the internet.

For those of you who aren’t aware, the Zodiac Killer was a serial killer who operated in northern California from the late 1960s through the early 1970s, claiming seven victims. Despite sending several taunting letters to the police, in which he gave himself the name “Zodiac,” he was never caught. That’s because, according to some people, the Zodiac Killer is presidential candidate Ted Cruz, even though Cruz was born in 1970, two years after the first killings took place.

While the exact origins of this meme are unknown, some claim it can all be traced back to this one tweet:

From there, it took off. There were t-shirts and everything, but the idea broke into the mainstream media at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, thanks to comedian and host of The Nightly Show Larry Wilmore.

“There is a joke going around the internet that Ted Cruz is actually the Zodiac Killer. I’m not making that up,” Wilmore said, laughing. “Come on that’s absurd — some people actually liked the Zodiac Killer.” But, Wilmore wasn’t done there. “I don’t even think Ted Cruz wants to be president,” he said at one point. “I think he’s just crisscrossing the country Zodiac killing.”

While Ted Cruz himself has yet to deny these allegations, we finally got a comment from his wife, Heidi, curtesy of Yahoo! News, while she was campaigning for her husband in Indiana.

“Well, I’ve been married to him for 15 years, and I know pretty well who he is, so it doesn’t bother me at all. There’s a lot of garbage out there,” Heidi says.

Of course, that wasn’t really a denial either.
