PS4 gamers have a lot to be excited about in April, including a pair of stunning point-and-click adventure releases from the masters of the genre, Telltale Games. Complete editions of both Tales from the Borderlands and The Walking Dead will be available by month’s end. Soccer fanatics can prep for the big UEFA Euro tournament with a stand-alone download, and the big exclusive for the month is Ratchet & Clank. There’s also Dark Souls III, which looks to be the most exciting game on the system in April.
Here’s a look at the best PS4 games coming out in April:
5. UEFA Euro 2016
Publisher: Konami
Developer: Konami

While the content drops March 24 as free update for those who already own PES 2016, a stand-alone download is coming a few weeks later, for those who want to skip the main game and only play out their UEFA fantasies on the pitch. With a nearly complete lineup of authentic rosters and stadiums, this will be the prime way to celebrate the tournament when you’re not up in the middle of the night watching games..

4. Tales from the Borderlands
Publisher: Telltale Games
Developer: Telltale Games
Release date: April 26
You wouldn’t think a crazy shooter like Borderlands would be a natural fit for an adventure game filled with dialogue, methodical inventory selection and measured actions, but Telltale made it work here. The developer’s trademark excellent writing and cool, comic book-style visuals make this a must-play. A roundup of all five episodes is coming for those who missed out on the episodic release.

3. The Walking Dead: Michonne — Episode 3
Publisher: Telltale Games
Developer: Telltale Games
Release date: TBA April
The finale to the episodic miniseries, called “What We Deserve,” will complete the trilogy sometime in April. The point-and-click undead adventure focuses on Michonne, the a fan favorite from the comic books who left Rick Grimes’s group in the Robert Kirkman comics. If the finale is anything like the first episode and the previous Walking Dead games, expect some toughchoices, grisly situations and stirring emotional moments that stick with you long after the credits.

2. Ratchet & Clank
Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment
Developer: Insomniac Games
Release date: April 12
Sony’s beloved furry mascot, Ratchet the lombax, blasts his way onto the PS4 for the first time, accompanied by his robotic sidekick, Clank. The platformer series reboot looks to elevate the visuals to Pixar-level quality, as well as continue its tradition of delivering some of the most creative and ridiculous weapons you’ll ever encounter. One of those is the Pixelizer, which renders your enemies into harmless, 8-bit versions of themselves.

1. Dark Souls III
Publisher: From Software
Developer: From Software, Bandai Namco
Release date: April 12
Prepare for a brutal experience in this punishing trek into the underworld from director Hidetaka Miyazaki’s deviously demented mind. The nightmare-inducing series looks to hit some of its most grisly moments yet, plunging you into a bleak, lonely hellscape governed by dark magic and despair. We saw a hint of the graphics, sound and gameplay From Software was capable of with last year’s Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin PS4 remaster, and expect more of the same here.
