Pre-game coverage around the Final Four Championship will begin at 7 PM EST on TBS. Here’s a description of the Capital One Championship Central pregame show, from NCAA.com:

Ernie Johnson will host studio coverage with analysts Charles Barkley, Clark Kellogg and Kenny Smith. They will be joined by Greg Gumbel with analysts Steve Smith, Reggie Miller and Seth Davis.

Pregame coverage will include guest appearances by Michigan State Head Coach Tom Izzo and Connecticut Head Coach Kevin Ollie. Monday’s coverage will include taped performances from Sunday’s NCAA March Madness Music Festival featuring Maroon 5 and Pitbull, airing as part of the pregame show.

Two and a half hours is a brutal amount of time to preview the National Championship game, even with guys like Charles and Ernie running the show. That being said, we’re interested to see what Tom Izzo and Kevin Ollie have to add to the equation.

Other than the Villanova coaches and players, no one believed in the Villanova Wildcats’ chances in the 2016 Final Four more than the ‘Nova cheerleaders. And you know what? We’re big fans of the Wildcats cheerleaders. Because despite the fact that Villanova’s catholic history has earned the school the nickname of Villanofun, we’re willing to bet that Nova students have been partying and celebrating with much more than communion wine as of late.

Despite the star power of Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese, movie The Wolf of Wall Street took six years to get made because it was considered too risky an investment by the major studios in Hollywood.

Enter Red Granite Pictures. Though a virtually unheard of production company with only one movie under its belt, Red Granite came up with $100 million to finance The Wolf of Wall Street.

Global investigators believe much of the money was diverted from a state fund from Malaysia, which was intended to spur Malaysia’s economic development.

The fund, 1Malaysia Development Bhd., or 1MDB, was set up seven years ago by the prime minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak. His stepson, Riza Aziz, is the chairman of Red Granite Pictures.

Investigators in two countries believe that $155 million originating with 1MDB moved into Red Granite in 2012 through a circuitous route involving offshore shell companies, said people familiar with the probes in the Wall Street Journal.

Red Granite Pictures was set up in 2010 by Riza Aziz, the Malaysian prime minister’s stepson, 39, and Christopher McFarland, a Kentucky businessman, 43.

Aziz worked in finance in the UK and ended up in the US, and McFarland invested in various ventures and moved to Hollywood to try to make movies.

The two were introduced by a mutual friend: a Malaysian businessman named Jho Low, who became a fixture on the party circuit in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York starting in 2009. Mr. Low gained media attention for a lavish lifestyle that brought him into the orbit of celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.

Jho Low whose full name is Low Taek Jho, 34, also played a role in setting up the fund that became 1MDB.

The aspiring movie moguls later set up an office on Sunset Boulevard, from there Red Granite was born.

Red Granite burst on the scene in 2011 by throwing a million-dollar beach extravaganza at the Cannes film festival with fireworks and performances by Kanye West, dressed all in white, and Pharrell Williams. A few months later its first movie was released, “Friends With Kids,” starring Adam Scott and Kristen Wiig.

“They definitely came off as high rollers when they started,” said Howard Cohen, co-president of Roadside Attractions, the distributor of Red Granite’s first film.

Aziz and McFarland next turned their attention to “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Jho Low, the Malaysian financier, made a key connection: He knew Leonardo DiCaprio and introduced him to Red Granite.

DiCaprio had long been interested in a movie based on the memoirs of a penny-stock operator who went to prison for fraud, Jordan Belfort. But the actor couldn’t find a studio that believed a film so expensive and potentially offensive would find a big enough audience.

Red Granite was willing to take the risk.

The movie went on to gross $400 million in box office revenue, and was nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture. There is no indication any profits from it flowed to 1MDB or Malaysia.

However, a closer look at the money trail raised suspicions.

Even though Aziz claims there’s no Malaysian money, and the financing came from an investor from Abu Dhabi, Mohamed Ahmed Badawy Al-Husseiny, investigators believed otherwise.

Al-Husseiny owns Aabar, an arm of an Abu Dhabi sovereign-wealth fund known as IPIC, which did business with 1MDB. For instance, IPIC guaranteed some of the Malaysian fund’s bonds.

In connection with the IPIC guarantees, 1MDB reported in corporate filings that in 2012, it sent $1.4 billion to Aabar as collateral. Investigators believe this money never got to Aabar in Abu Dhabi but went instead to a separate account in the British Virgin Islands.

The investigators believe about $155 million of this money then flowed to Red Granite Capital, a firm Mr. Aziz had formed to fund the film company, and to fund The Wolf of Wall Street.

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation has issued subpoenas to several current and former employees of Red Granite and to a bank and an accounting firm the company used.

Oh the irony; a movie about a shady financier, funded by shady financiers. Sounds about right.

Princeton University men’s lacrosse coach Chris Bates has been placed on administrative leave after video of Chris shouldering an opposing Brown University player (identified as John Yozzo-Scaperrotta) on the way back to the bench.

The hit happened after the first face-off in the third quarter, with the Brown up 7-6. Apparently John had drawn a foul against Princeton and was headed back to his bench, prompting Chris to come out of his restricted coaching area and argue with a referee.

You’d think that the head coach of an Ivy League team would know better, but apparently that’s not always the case.

PewDiePie’s net worth comes mostly from his insanely popular YouTube Channel. The star has earned an estimated $124 million since 2010. Because he’s Swedish and in a 56% tax bracket, less than half of that goes in his pocket. Still, not too shabby for a 26-year-old.

For those you who don’t know, PewDiePie, or Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, is a Swedish YouTube star and comedian who built his wealth by commenting on video games and other hot topics. The star started posting YouTube videos in April of 2010. Since then he has amassed over 41 million subscribers and 11 billion YouTube views.

PewDiePie’s net worth is 80 times larger than Bernie Sanders’ $528,014 net worth and 1.4 times larger than Hillary Clinton’s net worth of $31.2 million. Stars with larger net worth than PewDiePie include LeBron James with $310 million, Miley Cyrus with $245 million and Bill Gates with $80 billion. In case you’re wondering, that’s 1,881 times larger than PewDiePie’s net worth. PewDiePie’s net worth is 625 times larger than the median American household’s net worth of $68,000.

PewDiePie originally signed up for YouTube under the name “Pewdie”. Pew denotes the sound of laser and die means death. (I suppose this means, the sound of death in video games?)

Then he forgot the password and came back as “PewDiePie”. He dropped out of university to focus on YouTube videos, much to the fury of his parents (both senior executives of Swedish companies), who cut off PewDiePie’s financial support. So PewDiePie worked at a hot dog stand to make ends meet. He recalled the experience in a recent YouTube video, “the fact that I could make videos was so much more important to me than [that] I had to spend a few hours a day doing a job that wasn’t that prestigious.”

His passion paid off. And it paid off quickly. By December 2011, PewDiePie’s channel had around 60,000 subscribers.

Five years later, PewDiePie recalled, “I knew people were big at other types of videos, but there was no one big in gaming, and I didn’t know you could make money out of it. It was never like a career that I could just quit college to pursue. it was just something I loved to do. And here we are five years later and it’s exploded.”

PewDiePie appeared at the top of Forbes’ October 2015 list of the richest YouTube stars with a reported $12 million earned in 2015. Forbes commented that “[it] may well seem like an astronomical figure to a 25 year-old who just wants to make friends and play video games, but it’s a wildly insubstantial figure for the size of his audience and influence.”

Even though the media is obsessed with the YouTube star’s income, PewDiePie himself couldn’t care less about money. “We did raise a million dollars for charity, and very few articles picked up on that,” PewDiePie said in a video, “but here it is everywhere how much money I make. It seems like the whole world cares more about how much money I make than I do myself.”

Penguin Group released PewDiePie’s This Book Loves You, a parody of self-help books, on 20 October 2015. The book includes a collection of aphorisms, jokes, and wisdom, paired with visuals. Which will no doubt add to his net worth.

In the past, a comedian like him would have to work his way up through clubs and onto TV, possibly getting movie deals and building a career the slow way. YouTube has changed all that, taking a young man with a great deal of raw talent and rocketing him straight into fame and fortune almost literally overnight.

With the general election heating up and it looking nearly impossible for anyone other than Donald Trump to win the GOP ticket, NYU students find themselves torn, especially those who support the controversial businessman. In a recent article from The New York Post, NYU students who plan on voting for Donald Trump express concern for their safety and grades while roaming a campus full of liberal students and faculty.

“Supporters generally try to keep it hidden from the rest of the student body,” said Dylan Perera, a 22-year-old computer-science major from LA. “They’re afraid of losing friends, being ridiculed in class, getting worse grades and are even afraid of being assaulted and physically hurt.”

That’s pretty f*cked up, but it gets worse. Dylan then goes on to describe an incident in which he was verbally attacked by another student after they learned that he supported the GOP frontrunner.

“She freaked out and started yelling and screaming in my face, calling me a racist and a fascist. It was impossible to even have a conversation,” he explained to The New York Post. Unfortunately, Dylan is far from the only person being harassed for his beliefs.

An anonymous 21-year-old student would only talk to a Post reporter in a private room on campus for “security reasons.” Unfortunately his professor outed him as a Trump supporter on Friday despite explicitly asking to not bring up his political beliefs in front of his classmates. So much for remaining anonymous.

He recalled being ostracized by his “radical social-justice warrior” roommates. “Their hatred towards me started escalating after we had a few political discussions,” he said.

As Trump spoke during a televised GOP debate he was watching, his roommates drowned out the candidate by playing an anti-Trump video on their computer at maximum volume.

“Either you’re on their side or you’re a racist f–k, in their eyes,” the student said. “I’ve learned just to bottle up [my response]” to such antagonizing.

Considering the 57,000-student campus is famously liberal — and the fact that it’s right in the middle of New York City — his fears of being attacked or shunned because of his political beliefs are valid. The possibility of other supporters roaming college campuses is extremely high. After all, he is sweeping the country’s primary elections and is pretty much guaranteed to take the GOP ticket come November. But with the inability to talk freely amongst their peers during such a heated time in American history, what is there to do?

According to The Post, supporters have managed to come together through Facebook and sporadic meet-ups.

“It’s really decentralized” because “most people are too afraid to start an official group,” explained Perera of the “word-of-mouth network.” He estimates there are about 30 unofficial “members” of the Trump underground.

Another junior, who also spoke on the condition of anonymity, said she typically steers clear of public debates that will reveal her pro-Trump beliefs.

“It can get hostile,” she said, recalling recent political spats between students on Facebook. “They’ll usually throw around words like ‘racist’ or ‘bigot’ about Trump and then call the students trying to defend him ‘delusional.’”

If there’s one thing I learned in life, it’s to never talk politics with people you want to befriend. It never end well! And while I’m always up for a good debate, things can get really bad very quickly. It’s a f*cked up truth — you should be able to believe whatever you want and not be attacked for it — but alas, that’s not the country we live in. Someone will always be judging you no matter what, so say what you want and do it loudly — even if you’re surrounded by a bunch of Bernie Bros.

Some of my favorite stories around big events and games (like tonight’s UNC vs. Villanova National Championship game) are the various ways people will try and sell tickets on Craigslist, without the exchange of actual money.

More often than not, these guys posting are older rich guys looking for some sort of “companionship” (read: hooking but without actual sex). But one particular gentleman in Houston tonight is looking for something much more specific and a lot smarter: a waitress.

Sometimes, the intense leadup to the event forces the event itself to be a total letdown. It’s like when you get crappy presents on Christmas morning or watch an entire season of Walking Dead season just for the finale to suck. However, sometimes the event you’re waiting for lives up to the hype. None of which I can think off of the top of my head, but whatever, I’m sure it has happened.

Since I’m sure most people don’t want to miss the big game, here is a rundown of all of the ways you can watch the game from wherever you are. Who has their competition been? Iowa, Miami, #1 seeded Kansas and Oklahoma, the far and away tournament favorite led by Buddy Hield, who is arguably the most sought after 2016 NBA draft pick. In five tournament wins, the Wildcats have been rocking a 131.7 point average per 100 possessions. And yes, the current storyline concerning Villanova is that they have no standout stars, that’s not truly a concern, seeing as the team has toppled plenty of superstars this tournament already.

UNC, however, is also no joke. At all. The last remaining #1 seed still looks the part five months after being ranked as such. Their massive starting line has done nothing but control the ball, cherry pick rebounds and alleyoop their way over all of the competition.

So what do you bet? Taking the over at 149 is arguably the easiest money you’ll make all week. I don’t see either of these teams putting up less than 70 points apiece. If you want to ensure your wallet, your best plan is to take UNC on the spread and Villanova on the moneyline. This way, all UNC has to do is win and you got your money back, or Villanova wins and you actually win your money. Personally, I’m more than likely going to parlay the over at 149 with Villanova on the moneyline? Why? Because I love an underdog, and my wallet does to.

Crying Jordan memes were going to be the name of the game regardless of the outcome of the Final Four championship, but I’d like think to think the way the game ended was the reason every single photo on my timeline was a Crying Jordan meme.

All jokes aside, Twitter was as dank with memes as that game (which was one of the best basketball games I’ve ever watched) was with ups and downs. Just a great end to a great time in sports.

Just hours after March Madness ended, Twitter announced that it would be streaming ten 2016 Thursday night NFL games for free without requiring any form of authentication. As a cord cutter, this is making me extremely giddy.

The social media company outbid companies like Verizon and Amazon to secure rights to all the ten games. According to those who know better than we do, Twitter could afford to bid less than the $450 that NBC and CBS bid last January because their service is additive, not a replacement. The games will also still air on the NFL Network. It’s estimated to be at around $1 million per game versus the $15 million NBC and CBS paid per game.

The National Football League (NFL) announced today that it has selected Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) as its exclusive partner to deliver a live OTT digital stream of Thursday Night Football to a global audience across devices and for free during the course of the 2016 NFL Regular Season. Twitter will stream the 10Thursday Night Football games broadcast by NBC and CBS, which will also be simulcast on NFL Network, securing the league’s “Tri-Cast” distribution model of broadcast (NBC/CBS), cable (NFL Network), and digital (Twitter).

Partners since 2013 through the Twitter Amplify program, the NFL and Twitter will provide free, live streaming video of Thursday Night Football without authentication to the over 800 Million registered and non-registered users worldwide on the Twitter platform on mobile phones, tablets, PCs and connected TVs.

The announcement was made on Twitter by the Commissioner of the NFL, Roger Goodell.

How To Watch NFL On Thursday With Twitter

According to CNNMoney, users will have to download the Twitter app on “on phones, tablets and Internet-connected TV sets.” We saw how easy it was to watch the Jaguars vs. the Bills in London on Yahoo’s own apps (stomaching the game was something else entirely), so it stands to reason that Twitter can do a similarly great job.

Even better is that you don’t need to log into your cable network or provider. Just sign into Twitter and you’re good to go.

The holidays are about to get even more awkward at the Kardashians.

Rob Kardashian, the ever-disappearing brother of the reality star family, looks to have proposed to his girlfriend Blac Chyna. This would be way less awkward if the family didn’t have a huge and very public falling out over the relationship. Here’s the breakdown: Chyna met Tyga back in 2011, started dating, then had a son. They were even engaged, but eventually split up in 2014. Not too long after, Tyga started dating Kylie Jenner, who was underage at the time. Naturally this started a major feud. And with recent pregnancy rumors swirling around the couple, things can only get worse from here.

Plus there’s the fact that Blac Chyna’s best friend is Amber Rose, Kanye West’s ex who recently called out the rapper for his supposed taste in backend lovin’.

While nothing is officially confirmed, the Instagram posts speak for themselves:

Did the UNC Tar Heels mascot, Ramses, get sucker punched immediately after the losing to Villanova? New video from the Final Four Championship game seems to point to yes. Seth Davis’ Twitter account (@SethDavisHoops) shows the best angle of the incident.

At first it looks like Ramses gets knocked down by a UNC cheerleader on accident, right? Wrong.

In a COED exclusive, upon inspection COED has actually discovered a Villanova fan (PHILLY FANS, AMIRITE) ran on the court punched Ramses in the head and ran off to the other side without stopping.

Princeton

Student protests have run rampant over the past year and without fail administrators succumb to some type of demand. Unfortunately for Princeton University students, that subservient demeanor has come to a halt.

The Ivy League university announced Monday that its Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs would not have its name changed despite several student protests asking for it to be changed. Students take issue with the school’s name because of Wilson’s racial stances. The 28th president of the United States once called racial segregation “a benefit” and defended slavery by saying they “were happy and well-cared for.”

In a press release, Princeton’s Board of Trustees called for “an expanded and more vigorous commitment to diversity and inclusion at Princeton” but opted to not change the name overall.

“The trustees accepted the committee’s recommendation that the school of public and international affairs and the undergraduate residential college that bear Wilson’s name should continue to do so,” they wrote of the former president who had once served as Princeton’s president. “But that the University also must be ‘honest and forthcoming about its history’ and transparent ‘in recognizing Wilson’s failings and shortcomings as well as the visions and achievements that led to the naming of the school and the college in the first place.'”

In response, the Black Justice League issued a statement criticizing Princeton for their decision.

We are not surprised by this decision; after all, Princeton, as an institution, has scarcely been ahead of its time or on the right side of history. One has merely to look to its peer institutions to observe how much Princeton continues to lag behind. Harvard’s highest governing body, The Harvard Corporation, approved the changing of the Harvard Law School shield less than a week after a Harvard law committee released a report recommending its removal. What’s more, Harvard President Drew Faust has gone further as to initiate steps directed at formal recognition of Harvard’s ties to slavery and the slave trade. While Harvard remains far from perfect, in stark contrast, Princeton remains unable to even reckon and wrestle with its white supremacist foundations and its ongoing role in perpetuating racism, instead delivering shallow words and hollow promises.

In any case, while we are not surprised, we are, disappointed nevertheless.

An interesting explanation considering GOP candidate Ted Cruz called the student protestors “essentially pampered teenagers.”

So who’s in the wrong? The students who just want a non-racist school building? Or the university, who don’t really care and have bigger problems to deal with?

Jared Fogle, the former Subway spokesperson and recently convicted pedophile, has been having a rough time in prison. Not only has the disgraced fitness icon gained weight while behind bars, but he’s been the target of inmate-on-inmate violence.

Since his conviction on Nov. 19, 2015, where he plead guilty in federal court to possessing child pornography and traveling to pay for sex with minors, Fogle has been serving his 15-year sentence at a correctional institution in Colorado. Just two months into his sentence, on Feb. 29, Fogle was “jumped” in the rec yard by fellow inmate Steven Nigg, according to TMZ.

The 60-year-old, who’s in on a weapons charge, reportedly beat Fogle, leaving him with a bloody nose, swollen face, and several scratches. Apparently, Nigg’s family was “not surprised.” They told TMZ that “…Steven’s pissed because so many child sex predators are housed in the low security facility, and Fogle was just the last straw.”

Really, it was only a matter of time because everyone knows what happens to child molesters in prison. Right? Well, not quite.

“The mistreatment of molesters in prison, however, is often exaggerated,” writes Brian Palmer of Slate. “Despite a handful of high-profile murders, like those of Jeffrey Dahmer and Father John Geoghan, relatively few child molesters are killed. California sends about 1,300 people to jail every year for sexual abuse of a minor. Only 11 people die annually from assaults in California prisons, and few of them are convicted molesters.”

Of course, given his celebrity, Fogle may just have a huge bullseye painted on his back. In any case, prison officials are taking preventative measures. Prison records now show that Nigg has been transferred from the prison in Colorado to one in Oklahoma City—hundreds of miles away.

As of now, The Daily News is reporting that Nigg may have asked for the transfer himself, but it could just be to make sure that he doesn’t land a punch on the former face of Subway’s face…again.
