Gerod Martin, a 21-year-old Oregon National Guardsman, will be disciplined after commenting on Facebook “they’re (immigrants) lucky we aren’t executing them.” Martin left the comment on a Facebook fundraiser for immigrant families that have been separated at the United States-Mexico border.

The fundraiser, which Martin called a ‘waste of money’, has raised over $20 million so far. The money is being raised for the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services.

While Maj. Stephen Bomar, a spokesman for the Oregon Military Department, suggested that Martin was hacked, Martin quickly admitted to posting the comment.

Martin is a military police officer who has been part of the Oregon National Guard since December 2013.

Bomar confirmed Martin, 21, admitted to posting the comment. He wouldn’t elaborate on what discipline Martin will face but said the “large outcry” from the post spread to members of Martin’s outpost.

Martin has apparently scrubbed his Facebook page. Screenshots of his comment and his Facebook page with him in uniform have been distributed on social media. In it, Martin identified himself as living in Salem and “just a young buck serving his country.” He could not be reached for comment.

Martin has First Amendment rights like any U.S. citizen and can take part in social media, Bomar said, but he violated the social media policies of the national guard, the Army and the Department of Defense with his comment.

This is the second in the past week that an Oregon government employee has come under fire for their racist vitriol.

Oregon Department of Transportation employee Lori McAllen was placed on leave after suggesting immigrant children should be “shot” at the border.

Capt. Dave Rosa, the 45-year-old Fire Department captain in Long Beach, California, was killed on June 24, 2018, in a shooting at a senior housing facility.

Rosa was killed when a gunman open fired at the Covenant Manor senior housing facility on around 4 a.m. PST on Monday, June 24.

According to reports, authorities responded to the Covenant Manor in the 600 block of E. 4th Street in the downtown area of the city at about 4 a.m. due to reports of an explosion and fire. After extinguishing the fire, responding firefighters searched the building and shots were fired.

Two firefighters were shot: Rosa, who died, and another unidentified firefighter who remains in stable condition.

A second firefighter remained hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. A resident struck by gunfire also was hospitalized, but details regarding that individual’s condition were not immediately available.

Police said the suspected shooter is in custody.

The shooting was reported at a high-rise building in the 600 block of East 4th Street after authorities responded to reports of an explosion and fire. The Covenant House, which is in the area of Atlantic Avenue and Fourth Street, was surrounded by police and fire department vehicles early Monday as evacuated residents waited outside.

Details about the explosion were not immediately available.

Police said a person of interest was detained and a weapon was recovered at the scene. The shooting is being treated as a homicide investigation.

The 17-year department member is survived by his wife and two children.

The College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska has been giving baseball fans nothing but excitement over these past few weeks and it is almost time to crown a champion. The Greatest Show on Dirt will give people around the world one last show with two traditional powers going head to head. Oregon State and Arkansas are neck and neck going towards the finish line and there can only be one winner. Both teams have had fantastic seasons up to this point and one will be crowned the National Champion once one of these two powerhouses wins two games. These two teams are no stranger to the spotlight and have combined for 16 trips to Omaha. However, the Razorbacks have never won a World Series. They were runners-up in 1979. The Beavers won back to back titles in 2006 and 2007. There is no doubt that both teams will be fired up and ready to go once the first pitch is thrown.

Oregon State Beavers (53-11-1)

The Beavers from Corvallis, Oregon have only lost one game since their championship quest began and there is no doubt that they are an extremely talented bunch. Nick Madrigal is the heart and soul of that team and the number four overall pick in this year’s draft will be seeing a lot of time in the MLB with the White Sox in the coming years. Madrigal is batting .395 in only 167 at bats this season. However, his presence in the field is a huge boost to the already stout Oregon State defense. He has committed only one error this season. Adley Rutschman is an absolute stud at the plate batting .397 this season with eight long balls, 80 RBI’s, and 22 doubles. The young catcher is expected to be an early first round pick in the 2019 draft. Trevor Larnach on the other hand, is the Daddy Hack King and has one thing on his mind when he steps up to the plate. Go yard. Larnach has sent 18 balls to Mars this year and he has a serious chance to reach 20 in these next few games. The Minnesota Twins prospect has a knack for the long ball.

Oregon State’s pitching this season has been extremely sharp for a large component of 2018 with a team ERA of 3.33. Especially Luke Heimlich and Bryce Fehmel. The two have a combined record of 26-3 this season alongside 217 strikeouts. Freshman Jake Mulholland has he lowest ERA on the team at 2.25 and picks his spots extremely well. However, the Beavers have been a bit unstable on the mound over the past few games. Luckily, their offense came to the rescue and bailed out their struggling arms. This pitching staff against the Arkansas offense should be an extremely fun battle to watch and there is no doubt that these games will deliver a whole lot of excitement.

Arkansas Razorbacks (47-19)

WOO! PIG! SOOIE! RAZORBACKS! The Hogs are calling and have taken Omaha by storm. This team is hot and there’s no other way of putting it. The Razorbacks have won their last four games in convincing fashion and are poised to win their first-ever national championship. Eliminating defending national champion Florida was a huge boost for this team and their confidence is through the roof. Casey Martin leads the team in hitting with a .357 average followed by Heston Kjerstad and Carson Shaddy at .337 and .335 respectively. Eric Cole leads the Razorbacks in hits with 88 on the season and Kjerstad has 57 RBI’s. The quartet of Martin, Kjerstad, Shaddy, and Cole have combined for 54 home runs and there is no shortage of power in this lineup. The Arkansas offense is extremely balanced and there isn’t any need for one player to carry the team. It’s a total team effort for this group and you can see it when they’re on the field. The Razorbacks have a number of draft picks in Eric Cole, Carson Shady, Grant Koch, Jax Biggers, and Blaine Knight.

The pitching staff for Arkansas has team ERA of 3.55 and is led by Baltimore Orioles draft pick Blaine Knight. Knight is an astounding 13-0 this season with a 2.88 ERA and opponents have been hitting .226 against him this season. In addition to Knight, Kacey Murphy and Isaiah Campbell are the two others starters. Murphy is 8-5 with a 3.15 ERA and Campbell is 5-6 with a 4.12 ERA. Knight has a chance to finish the long season undefeated and his team is two wins away from their first-ever national championship. They have a chance to defeat a perennial giant that makes a living out of trips to Omaha every June.

Final Verdict

Both teams have worked extremely hard to get to this point and it’s honestly a shame that someone has to lose this series. Oregon State and Arkansas are about as even as you could get in regards to style of play, offense, defense, and pitching. Draft picks are plentiful on each side and it’s only a matter of time until these two take the field at TD Ameritrade Park.

The lingering concern for Oregon State is the status of Steven Kwan. He is expected to play in game one but what percent will he be playing at? Hamstring strains aren’t something that you can shake off in a few days. Aggravating it more could spell trouble and Kwan is easily one of the most balanced players on the Oregon State roster. The Beavers’ pitching staff has been hit a lot over the past few games as well. How will they respond to an extremely hot Arkansas team? The Razorbacks will do just enough in game three to hold off the Beavers. These will games definitely not disappoint and they will all be extremely tight from start to finish. Omaha will be at the center of the baseball universe and this championship series will be an absolute must-watch for those baseball junkies all around the world.

It’s no secret that HBO’s Westworld is a complicated show. Belaboring that point further would be the dialogue surrounding last night’s season 2 finale “The Passenger.” The 90-minute episode crammed just about everything it could think of, jumping from past and present, all to set the stage of season 3: hosts existing outside the park.

While the world tries to figure out what’s happening going forward, let’s kick back and do a little assessment of the biggest winners and losers this season – and everything in between!

It goes without saying, but SPOILERS for Westworld follow.

Winners

Five Hosts In A Purse

While the bulk of host-consciousness, now freed from their bodies, will be uploaded to the cloud somewhere, Dolores/Hale managed to leave the park with FIVE control units stashed in her purse in a ‘blink and you miss it’ shot in the finale. We already know she used one to print a new Dolores body for herself and another for a Bernard body. Your guess is as good as mine regarding who she put inside Hale’s body and who the other two who hosts will turn out to be. Nevertheless, getting out of that park is a major win.

Maeve Millay

Let’s cut right to it, Maeve absolutely dominated this season. Not only did she accomplish her objective of saving her daughter, she advanced her programming to the point of controlling others, and as Dr. Ford confessed, she was always his favorite. To top it all off, Maeve has both hosts and Delos employees willing to fight for her, stand by her, and give their lives for her. Want to know if your cause is just? Look at Maeve’s crew then look at Dolores’.

Lee Sizemore

A shocking addition to the winner’s list, Lee Sizemore really stepped his game up this season turning from sleazy Delos narration writer to protector of Maeve and savior of her crew. He saved Hector from delivering the final dying speech and took the role in his place, giving them a chance to escape, which they successfully did. Way to change, Lee!

Dolores Abernathy

While her logic is nowhere near as sound as Maeve’s, Dolores did also complete her objective this season by getting the hell out of the park and taking her place amidst the humans. She left a crazy body count behind, but Dolores never failed to pull out all the stops (including inhabiting other host bodies) to get what she wants. Her ruthlessness will no doubt make her a capable survivor in the real world.

Bernard Lowe

Bernard had a really rough year. His memories were so scrambled that throughout the course of this season I almost prayed for a full malfunction just to alleviate myself of the unceasing questions about life and consciousness and fidelity. However, there was a method behind Bernard’s literal madness. He was more in control than even he knew, with or without Dr. Ford’s assistance. Bernie is now free to roam about in the real world – that is if Dolores doesn’t decide he’d be more useful to her as a footstool or coat rack.

Losers

The Man In Black

Not only did William murder his daughter, lose his mind, and blow off a hand this season, he also uncovered that he’s been a host for god knows how long, perhaps the entire duration we’ve seen him as Ed Harris on screen. That’s a real kick in the gut for the guy who told his father-in-law Jim Delos that he opposed his whole immortality scam and was adamant that no system could ever control him. To add insult to injury, he had to learn he was a host from some form of human/host program in the form of his daughter. Guess you got what you paid for William!

Charlotte Hale

The show would be crazy not to keep an actress like Tessa Thompson on for next season, but Hale’s corporate background isn’t the most interesting trait in a land of robots. In fact, besides Sizemore, Felix, and Stubbs, none of the Delos team brings much to the table. How do we give her better material? Let’s have her die by the hands of her own host body and then be infused with the most sadistic host, Dolores’s control unit, and kill numerous coworkers in the process of getting to the mainland.

Sorry Charlotte, I doubt this was covered in the corporate handbook.

Teddy Floods

One thing Dolores underestimated was that giving hosts free will meant they were capable of making their own choices… even if those choices weren’t aligned with her own. Teddy loved her, but he couldn’t love the person she was turning him into, and he took his own life. The big reason Teddy is on the loser’s side of this list isn’t that he checked out on his own terms, but because Dolores snagged his control unit and will do lord knows what with it, thus taking away his choice. Fingers crossed we don’t see Teddy’s consciousness inside Hale’s body next season.

Dr. Robert Ford

Sorry to say, but Dr. Ford was brought back in season 2 way too late in the game. He was already dead and gone and pretty much forgotten by the time he popped back in Bernard’s consciousness. Sure, he served a purpose controlling the system from within and allowing the hosts the ability to escape, but an omniscient presence can only hold our interest for so long. I love Anthony Hopkins but Dr. Ford has left the building. Unfortunately, I’m sure they’ll find a way to bring him back Yoda-style for season 3.

Humans

Despite the fact that he’ll (probably) never win a World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo has already cemented his status as one of the greatest soccer players to ever live.

But in addition to being one of the best on the field, Ronaldo is also one of the all-time greats off the field. Model girlfriends, half-a-billion-dollar net worth, elite genes — if anyone on Earth has it all, it’s Ronaldo.

What makes Ronaldo so successful off the pitch (other than his world-class soccer skills and looks) is that he’s cleverly crafted a bankable brand that has made him the most recognizable athlete in the world.  And part of that expertly crafted brand is his on the field appearance, long sleeves included.

The reason Ronaldo wears long sleeves all the time is not for any sort of tactical advantage, but for appearance. Whether it be for branding purposes (Ronaldo is now synonymous with long sleeve jerseys) or because he simply likes the way they look, Ronaldo’s affection for long sleeves boils down to looks.

Sure, if you dig deep enough you’ll find old photos and videos of Ronaldo wearing the occasional short sleeves Manchester United jersey, but even in his Old Trafford days, it was long sleeves more times than not.

Like I said, he’s a finely crafted brand: he’s got his haircuts, his goal celebration, and his long sleeve jerseys.

This year’s most hotly contested award may be who the Rookie of the Year in the 2018 NBA season is. The three nominees for the award are the Sixers Ben Simmons, the Jazz Donovan Mitchell, and the Celtics Jayson Tatum. This is really a two-horse race between Simmons and Mitchell after both players had incredible seasons for their teams. Simmons, even though he was drafted in 2016, is the leading candidate to win the award after leading his Sixers from one of the worst teams in the league to the number three seed in the Eastern Conference. Let’s take a look at why each of these players deserves to have their name called as the winner of this award.

Ben Simmons

Simmons is the favorite to win this award after having an impressive rookie campaign. Simmons averaged 15.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, 8.2 assists, and shot 54.7 percent from the field. Simmons is his team’s playmaker by facilitating the ball to open up shots for teammates. Simmons is also hard to stop when driving to the basket as he has the ability to finish with both hands. 77 percent of his shots came from within 10 feet of the basket When within five feet of the basket Simmons is converting on a ridiculous 69.6% of those shots. Defensively, Simmons could match-up with many guards and make it a difficult night for them on the floor. The two knocks on Simmons are that he has no perimeter game let alone a mid-range game. He very rarely shoots a jumper as he tries to use his size to bully smaller guards. The second knock on him for this award is that he technically was not drafted last year so he had an extra year to develop in the league since he was injured and did not play during the 2016-2017 season. Some people don’t believe it is fair for him to be considered a rookie but per NBA rules since he did not appear in a game he can still be considered a rookie.

Donovan Mitchell

Mitchell exploded onto the scene this year averaging 20.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and he shot 44 percent from the field and 35 percent from three-point range. Mitchell took the league by storm and was able to lead his team to the second round of the Western Conference playoffs after many people thought the Jazz would be at the bottom of the league after losing star player, Gordon Hayward, to free agency the summer before. Mitchell’s usage rate led all rookies as he was used on 28 percent of possessions for his team. Mitchell led his team in scoring and was the focal point of his team’s offense. Without Mitchell, the Jazz would not have gone as far as they did. He was the engine that made his team go.

Jayson Tatum

Tatum had a solid rookie season averaging 13.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and he shot 47.5 percent from the field. Tatum was also impressive from the perimeter hitting 43.4 percent of his three-pointers. Tatum really showed how great of a player he will be one day as he was the main man for the Celtics offense during their playoff run. He was the man taking the big shots towards the end of the games and he was able to average 18.5 points per game during the postseason. However, it is unlucky that Tatum was a rookie in the same class as Simmons and Mitchell because these two guys had truly spectacular seasons. Tatum has proven though that he will be a force to reckon with in the future and could become one of the next big stars in the NBA.

Prediction

Even though I’m not a fan of the NBA rule that allows for players who did not play in a game the season they were drafted can still be considered a rookie for the season after, I am going to have to give my vote to Ben Simmons on this one. Simmons at 6-foot-10 impacts a game at both ends of the floor. He helps to facilitate the offense for the Sixers as he is the primary ball-handler for them. His passing instincts are off the charts and he makes all of the players around him better. He can also be a lockdown defender, which is what I think takes him over the top of Mitchell. Mitchell can score with the best of them but is sometimes a little lazy on the defensive end trying to conserve energy to play offense. If this was any other year, Mitchell would be winning this award, but I have to give the nod to Ben Simmons here just from the way he impacts the game on both ends of the floor for his team.

Following an extensive review of their Greek life, West Virginia University has suspended four fraternities.

According to a press release from the university, Phi Sigma Kappa and Sigma Alpha Mu will be suspended through the Fall 2020 semester, while the Pi Kappa Alpha and Phi Gamma Delta (otherwise known as FIJI) fraternities are suspended indefinitely.

Back in February 2018, a committee established by WVU’s Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life reviewed each chapter in the university’s academic, disciplinary, and community engagement and came up with an appropriate “action plan” to “better align each organization with the university’s mission.”

Following the conclusion of their months-long investigation, the committee gave their recommendations to Dean of Students Corey Farris.

The recommendations for each fraternity ranged from losing their official recognition to appointing an academic mentor.

“President Gee challenged us to be bold,” said Matthew Richardson, director of the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life. “He wants us to be fair and equitable in our approach to fraternity and sorority engagement, and I feel confident that we are set up for success in light of the Reaching the Summit recognition review.”

Richardson added, “Transparency is key, and we intend to publish all relevant information regarding our chapters to our website for students, parents and families to see. This will include academic and judicial histories on our campus.”

While four fraternities have been suspended, all of the West Virginia sororities are reportedly in “good standing” for the upcoming semester.

This is the latest major Greek Life overhaul in the last couple of years, as schools such as Indiana University, the University of Michigan, Ohio State University, Texas State, Florida State, Ball State, Louisiana State and Penn State have all suspended fraternities in the wake of hazing and alcohol deaths.

These reports come amidst similar allegations that have been made against fraternities nationwide, including Sigma Alpha Epsilon at East Carolina University, who were shut down  for hazing and the Lamda Chi Alpha chapter at the University of Arkansas which has been accused of taking sexually explicit photographs of women without their permission.

In response to incidents like these, fraternities such Phi Kappa Psi have made numerous changes to their code of conduct in an effort to address the issues that have arisen. In addition, schools such as Texas State have introduced new Greek Life rules to try and prevent these problems.

Tristan Beaudette was enjoying a camping trip with his daughters when tragedy struck. According to reports, Beaudette, a 35-year-old scientist from Irvine, California, was camping at Malibu Creek State Park in Southern California over the weekend when he was shot and killed inside of his tent.

Beaudette’s two daughters, ages 2 and 4, witnessed the murder.

According to The Los Angeles Times, there are currently no leads, no suspect and no motive but the death is being investigated as a homicide.

“We are working this as a homicide at this point. We are gathering evidence … It will take some time,” said Lt. Rodney Moore of the L.A. County Sheriff’s office.

“Tristan was out doing something he adored in life being in the outdoors with his two young girls,” a GoFundMe page states. “And then it was all taken away, by a fatal gun shot in the middle of the night, in front of his two young daughters. Not a second goes by that we aren’t grappling with the senselessness of this crime.

“Tristan, you were such an amazing father, husband, son, and brother. You were admired by so many for your devotion to your wife and two daughters. We are all so fortunate to have known you for your short time on Earth. You were taken from us far too early, doing something you loved with the girls you adored. You will be so dearly missed. May you rest in peace.”

Beaudette, who had a PhD in chemistry from UC Berkeley, took his daughters camping so his wife, a doctor, could study for an exam.

Sadie R. Pritchard, a 41-year-old associate principal at Evergreen High School, has been accused of having sex with a teenage student at the school. She is facing three counts of first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor.

According to reports, a student at Evergreen High School told police that Pritchard started following him on Instagram and sent him messages offering to assist him with his homework back in October 2017. The student said that the messages led to Pritchard sending nude photos. Both the photos and Pritchard’s Instagram have since been deleted.

The student said they started having sexual intercourse in December and it happened about three or four times over the course of about six weeks.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the victim told investigators on May 22 that they’d had “sexual intercourse with (the) vice principal, Sadie Pritchard, at Evergreen High School.”

The student said Pritchard started following them on Instagram around October 2017. She offered to help the student with homework, and then the contact turned flirtatious, leading to the exchange of nude photos, according to the affidavit. What followed were alleged sexual encounters during the school day in Pritchard’s office, starting around mid-December and lasting roughly six weeks. Other alleged instances happened in what was referred to in the affidavit as a testing room.

Pritchard allegedly gave the student upwards of $1,000 on a regular basis for several months. The student denied that the money was an exchange for sex or to keep them quiet. When asked what ended the relationship, the student said they thought about what was happening and became mad, so they told Pritchard it could no longer continue, according to the affidavit.

There also were emails found by the Evergreen Public Schools human resources director in which Pritchard would request the student be pulled from class and report to her office, as well as requests that teachers change the student’s grades to a fail or pass status in an effort to improve their GPA, according to the affidavit.

Pritchard is just the latest school official to be charged for an alleged relationship with a teenager student.  Over the course of just a few months, educators across the country were arrested for entering into an inappropriate relationship with their students, Tennessee teacher Janet Smothers, LaToya Parker, Florida teacher Caroline Lawson, 26-year-old Allyson Moran and Katherine Ross Ridenhour were all arrested on similar charges.

The list goes on to include 22-year-old Oklahoma science teacher Hunter Day, 28-year-old teacher Megan Kotarski, 23-year-old history teacher Michelle Schiffer, 29-year-old Alyssia Marie Reddy, special education teacher Jordan Ondish and 28-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick have all been allegedly carrying on inappropriate relationships with their students.

In addition, 31-year-old Nicole Marie Andrews, 32-year-old Jessica Langford, 29-year-old Andrea Baber, 27-year-old Robin Dunlap, 27-year-old Jennifer Olajire-Aro have also been charged with these charges.

34-year-old Miranda Nicole Pauley was charged with similar crimes, Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, a former Christian school teacher, was arrested for having sex with a student, Coine Audiat pleaded no contest to having sex with a minor in 2016 and 23-year-old Darci Lake was arrested for an inappropriate relationship. 27-year-old Brittany Zamora from Arizona was arrested on similar charges. Keri Hoffman, 35, was also arrested for an alleged relationship with a student. More recently, 29-year-old Tiffany Ranweiler-Oblander and 33-year-old Maren Oates were arrested on similar charges.

Rye began her career with the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education, which is an umbrella association for the country’s HBCUs. She also worked in the office of Congresswoman Maxine Waters and was the Western Region Director of the National Black Law Students Association.

Now, she is one of the most recognizable faces in political commentary and has served as a voice of reason during the nation’s volatile political climate. Throughout her career, she has earned accolades such as being named to the NAACP Power 40, The Root 100, Marie Claire Power Woman, Howard University CDA Progression Young Leader Award, Fortunate’s 40 Under 40 Women to Watch, Ebony Power 100 Honoree, and much more.

Rye was named after Angela Yvonne Davis, a scholar and activist who was well known for her work in tandem with the Black Panther Party.

“That felt like a purposeful, beckoning call to engage in strategic resistance and to fight for the oppressed,” Rye said in a piece for CNN.com. “Our name means ‘bringer of truth’ or ‘messenger of God.’ For me that meant telling teachers when history books either inadequately represented or misrepresented black people. That meant engaging in high school discussions about re-starting the Black Panther Party and then settling for the creation of a Black Student Union instead. It meant serving on a community committee, developed by the police chief, to address excessive force and police brutality in my hometown of Seattle.

The 2018 NBA Awards took place on Monday, June 25 in California as the National Basketball Association held its year-end ceremony to honor the top performers from the previous season. Megan Lemay, a 20-year-old from Pelham, New Hampshire, was arrested and charged after police New found drugs and an iPhone still open to a FaceTime call inside of her crashed Jeep.

According to authorities, Lemay was driving a 2013 Jeep Wrangler when it crashed through a rock wall on Simpson Road around 2 a.m. on Sunday, June 24. Police say that the prescription drugs and the open iPhone were discovered while police search the vehicle.

Police said that Lemay seemed impaired at the scene so she was arrested. She was charged with aggravated DUI, possession of prescription drugs, and prohibited use of mobile electronic devices while driving.

An underage woman was arrested after police say she was drunk and using FaceTime when she crashed into a rock wall on Simpson Road.

Pelham police and fire responded to a reported crash just after 2 a.m. Sunday morning at 33 Simpson Road. When they arrived they found a 2013 Jeep Wrangler on its side with one occupant, the driver.

Police say, 20-year-old Megan Lemay of Pelham was driving east on toward 111A when she failed to negotiate a curve. She crashed through a rock wall and rolled the Jeep, police said. She was not injured and refused medical treatment.

Police saw prescription drugs and a phone inside the car. The phone was still open to a FaceTime call. Lemay also showed signs of impairment and was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI). She was charged with aggravated DUI, possession of prescription drugs and prohibited use of a mobile device while driving.

The Pelham Police Department released a statement about Lemay’s arrest:

“The Pelham Police Department is thankful no one was hurt in this crash. We urge people not yet 21 years old not to drink alcohol and those who are over 21 years old to drink responsibly. Please plan ahead for a safe and sober ride home.”

Lemay was released on $2,000 bail with an arraignment scheduled for July 9.

Have A Glass Of Water For Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

It’s natural for people to eat their three daily meals, so why not add a glass of water to those regular meals? It’s second nature to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. By adding in the glass of water not only are you getting hydration but you will train your mind always to get a glass of water at each meal.

Through The Evening Sip On A Cup Of Tea

If this becomes a habit, you will add a cup of fluid to your day. Drinking a cup of tea every day will help you hydrate. This is also a plus with the tea providing relaxation to the body. Make a plan each week to create a hydration goal. Every day you must drink a certain amount of water you have set for yourself. Another goal can be from drawing on your water bottle. Trace a line of where you should finish with your water at the end of the day. Some people might not like the taste of water or could get tired of drinking plain water. Try to add some strawberries, lemons, mint or cucumbers to add a sweet, refreshing flavor. And if you aren’t feeling the flavored water, you can try Gatorade or Powerade. Don’t drink Gatorade or Powerade all the time, mix in with some water. But, Gatorade and Powerade can be a good substitute.
