Oldman was born in New Cross, London, and studied with the Young People’s Theatre in Greenwich during the 1970’s. He tried to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art but was rejected, with the school going so far as to advise him to find another line of work. Eventually, he won a scholarship to attend the Rose Bruford College in Sidcup, Southeast London, earning a BA in Acting in 1979.

After finishing school, Oldman was the first in his class to get professional acting work, appearing in a stage production based on Dick Whittington and His Cat. Continuing on stage for most of his early career, Oldman made his film debut in Colin Gregg’s Remembrance. His big break was playing real-life rocker Sid Vicious in the 1986 film, Sid and Nancy. In 1987, Oldman gained his third starring film role as Joe Orton in Prick Up Your Ears, earning him a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor.

College Basketball Power Rankings 2018: Week 18 Rankings

As we proceed into the final week of Conference Tournament play, fans and critics alike will be treated to some of the most contentious and thrilling college basketball competition before March Madness commences. Aside from the Big 10 Conference, the Pac-12, ACC, Big 12 and SEC Conferences still have to progress through their respective tournaments to discover where their programs will be seeded come Selection Sunday. For some, these brief tournament affairs are a just a delectable appetizer that will allow them to become supremely prepared for the grueling yet highly anticipated postseason affair that is just on the horizon. However, for many others, these conference tournaments are vital in strengthening their resumes to become apart of a beloved national event with limited spots in which to be placed.

1. Virginia Cavaliers

Winning a highly improbable contest over Louisville last week, the Cavaliers epitomized the tenuous hold that most programs have had on being the top team in the country this season. While their defense is the most efficient unit in college basketball, their anemic offense could cause them some serious problems if they are forced to come back at some point in the NCAA Tournament.

2. Xavier Musketeers

Similar to their conference rivals in Villanova, the Musketeers success is predicated on their prolific offense scoring early and often. Although Xavier has the ceiling of a National Title contender, their porous defense is atrocious enough for them to be one of the many programs that could be forced to exit the NCAA Tournament far sooner than they would like.

3. Villanova Wildcats

When this offense is clicking, it is nearly impossible to stop and keep up with. However, when the Wildcats shooters are having trouble seeing the ball go through the net, they are susceptible to being taken down by nearly any opponent they face. Come tournament play, this will be one of the hardest teams to project in terms of postseason success.

4. Duke Blue Devils

Although some fans and critics will be pessimistic of the Blue Devils tournament success because of their inconsistent play at times, the fact that this program can turn on the competitive burners at any time to beat elite programs is highly impressive. If their defense can continue to be disciplined and physical while their offense is able to make clutch shots down the stretch, they could be poised to win their sixth National Title.

5. Michigan State Spartans

Clearly, the Spartans possess the elite athletes and coaching to cruise through the NCAA Tournament to win a National Title. However, in recent weeks, the Spartans have looked uninterested and hasty when it comes to taking ill-advised shots. For this program to avoid a first weekend upset in March Madness, they need to slow down the pace of play while avoiding careless turnovers when attempting to go for a home run play in transition.

6. Gonzaga Bulldogs

Now dominant on both offense and defense, the Bulldogs currently look like a program that could feasibly make another run at getting to the National Title game. Although some may harp on the Bulldogs for playing a decidedly easy schedule every year, their competitive nature and versatility give them a great chance to go far in the NCAA Tournament.

7. Michigan Wolverines

Between their tireless and effective defense and their clutch shooters that can make crucial shots from beyond the perimeter, the Wolverines have the look and confidence of a program that seems destined to go far during March Madness. Although the Wolverines have struggled when it comes to actually winning a National Title, they may have the competitive balance to win it all this year.

8. Cincinnati Bearcats

If their defense can be as great as it was when it held a dynamically gifted offense in Wichita State to 61 points come March Madness, the Bearcats could explode onto the scene as a serious Final Four contender. Although they may not possess the prolific shooters of today’s competitive offenses, the Bearcats have the length and strength to garner rebounds while making shots at the rim.

9. Purdue Boilermakers

Clearly, the Boilermakers need some production from their athletic guards if they hope to make a serious run at a National Title. Although the Boilermakers loss to Michigan in the Big 10 Tournament championship game was not horrible, it did expose them to being a hasty shooting team when their initial shots do not go through the hoop. For this program to be successful going forward, they need to play with more poise and confidence when their streaky shooters are struggling to hit shots.

10. Kansas Jayhawks

As has been the case in years past, the highly talented Jayhawks at times look like a National Title contender but then just easily regress to the point of looking like a team that could lose in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament. If their offense falls flat as it did against Oklahoma State come March Madness, the Jayhawks could once again underperform when it matters the most.

11. Texas Tech Red Raiders

Halting a four-game losing streak by defeating TCU last week, the Red Raiders are a program that has the defensive prowess to go far. However, their relatively anemic offense is a bit of a concern and will have to be much better if they hope to go far in both the Big 12 and NCAA Tournament.

12. Tennessee Volunteers

Although their offense has done barely enough from a competitive standpoint, their cerebral and relentless defense is currently performing at its peak and will be the catalyst for their success or failure in the NCAA Tournament (have held their opponents to 65 points or less in their last four games). If the Volunteers can prove that their defense can be this consistently dominant in SEC Tournament play, they could easily become a trendy pick to make it an Elite Eight berth.

13. Wichita State Shockers

Sure, the loss to Cincinnati over the weekend was not pretty from an offensive perspective for the Shockers. However, Wichita State somewhat proved that they are capable of playing a brand of defense that, while not elite, is capable of doing enough to allow their exceptional offense to tick consistently whenever they have the basketball in their possession.

14. Ohio State Buckeyes

Losing a nail-biter to Penn State during the Big 10 Tournament last week, the Buckeyes are currently going into the NCAA Tournament with a sour taste in their mouths. However, Ohio State still has a physical defensive unit and several underrated shooters that are deadly when it comes to taking and making mid-range shots from the field (48.5 FG%).

15. Auburn Tigers

Despite losing three out of their last five games, the Tigers are still an offensive powerhouse that has what it takes to continue to defy their lowly preseason expectations. If their shooters can show off their confident persistence when it comes to making shots from anywhere on the court in SEC Tournament, the Tigers may have what it takes to overcome their defensive shortcomings.

16. Arizona Wildcats

Since the Wildcats were ousted by an FBI probe which allegedly caught head coach Sean Miller offering a prospective player impermissible benefits, many have wondered if this type of adversity will help galvanize or crush the competitive continuity of this maligned program. If their offense can be as prolific as it has been throughout the season, the Wildcats could very well live up to their preseason expectations as being a Final Four contender.

17. Clemson Tigers

While the Tigers may be an ill-advised program to pick to go far in the NCAA Tournament, their perseverance this season, particularly on defense, should be commended completely for overcoming injuries and low expectations. A strong performance in the ACC Tournament could put the Tigers back on the map as being a sleeper contender that could make it to the Elite Eight if they are placed in a favorable quadrant of the final tournament bracket.

18. West Virginia Mountaineers

Although the Mountaineers are still struggling mightily when it comes to holding down their opponents defensively, they are at least asserting themselves on the offensive end of the court (80.4 PPG). While the Mountaineers do not necessarily have to go far in the Big 12 Tournament to be considered a compelling March Madness competitor, if nothing else their performance in the games to come this week could be vital in bolstering their confidence for postseason play.

19. North Carolina Tar Heels

Losing a heartbreaker to Duke on Saturday did little to assuage the concerns of fans and pundits alike that the Tar Heels lack of an intimidating defensive presence will be overcome by a prolific scoring unit. With that being said, the Tar Heels can finish off the season on a high note if they can bounce back furiously during the ACC Tournament.

20. Saint Mary’s Gaels

Unfortunately for the Gaels, their impressive efficiency on the defensive side of the court (63.8 PAPG), has been overshadowed by the championship caliber performances of the Gonzaga Bulldogs in recent weeks. However, the Gaels lack of deserved recognition could serve them well down the stretch of the West Coast Conference and beyond.

21. Nevada Wolfpack

Although the Wolfpack’s final regular season contest against San Diego State did not go as planned, this is still a program that possesses the ideal offensive playmakers that can both shoot and pass the ball with impressive consistency (83.5 PPG, 16.4 APG). Considering they are shooting 40.1% from beyond the arch, the Wolfpack is a program that will be a tough out in the NCAA Tournament as long as their offense is firing on all cylinders.

22. Houston Cougars

Coming into their own as a dynamically competitive program that can score with impressive efficiency (78 PPG) while relentlessly smothering their opponents defensively (65.2 PAPG), the Cougars are poised to go far in the American Athletic Conference Tournament and possibly in the NCAA Tournament as well. If the Cougars can continue to attack the glass as viciously as they have throughout this season (39.2 RPG), they have the intriguing versatility to at least get out of the first weekend come March Madness.

23. Loyola-Chicago Ramblers

Handily winning the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament over the weekend, the Ramblers emphatically clinched their first NCAA Tournament berth since 1985. Although they struggle to score consistently and are not particularly intimidating as a rebounding program, the Ramblers possess a crushing defense (62.2 PAPG) that could very well carry them beyond the first round of the tournament.

24. Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders

While losing to Marshall at home during their final regular season game was not ideal, the Blue Raiders are still an intriguing defensive program that could once again come out of nowhere to become an upset-minded team during March Madness. Assuming they can win the Conference USA Tournament, the Blue Raiders could garner themselves a better overall seed in the national tournament and strike fear in their much higher ranked opponent.

25. Rhode Island Rams

Losing back-to-back contests to the likes of Saint Joseph’s and Davidson, the once defensively stout Rams are struggling to hold their own in a conference that was clearly theirs to lose at one point during the regular season. With A-10 Conference tournament play starting this week, the Rams need to win every game they play in handily if they hope to be seeded favorably in the NCAA Tournament.

The Rock Graciously Accepts His Razzie Award For “The Razzie Nominee So Rotten You Loved It”

It goes without saying, but the Rock is the coolest dude on the planet. On March 4th, he finally got his gold, no not an Oscar but a Razzie.

On March 4th, the Rock posted a video on his Instagram announcing that his movie Baywatch had won the Razzie award for “The Razzie Nominee So Rotten You Loved It.” Everyone has those movies that you know are terrible, but for some reason, you can’t help but love them. Looks like the prestigious Razzies have finally decided to acknowledge this particular sect of movies by introducing this brand new award for 2018.

The Razzies are the annual awards given to the worst movies of the year, as well acting performances and screenplays. Baywatch went up against The Emoji Movie, Fifty Shades Darker, The Mummy and Transformers: The Last Knight in its category. Looks like, despite people’s reactions to it, Baywatch eventually grew on people. The Rock knows how to make blockbuster films better than anyone, and while they may not always be the best-reviewed movies, they always seem to crush at the box office.

While actors and actresses may not always be thrilled to receive a Razzie, the Rock took the news in stride saying: “Look we made Baywatch with the best intentions and it didn’t work out like that, but I humbly and graciously accept my Razzie and I thank you critics and thank you fans.” How can you possibly dislike a dude who accepts an award for a bad movie like that?

Everyone went into Baywatch knowing that it wasn’t going to be a hit with the critics. They were aiming for something like the 21 Jump Street revival that everyone loved, but clearly, this one fell short.

At the 90th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, March 4, stars from many different walks of life came away from the night as big winners, such as Jordan Peele, Gary Oldman, Frances McDormand and Guillermo del Toro.

However, the biggest winner of the night was none other than Eiza González, who just dominated every other living being at the event and went from being “that chick from Baby Driver” to a “THE Eiza González” AKA “The Mexican Gal Gadot”.

Instagram Photo

Essentially inventing the color yellow, González absolutely flexed on the red carpet, instantly going viral on Twitter.

González was probably best known for her role as Monica “Darling” Castello in 2017’s Baby Driver and her role of Santanico Pandemonium on the television show From Dusk till Dawn: The Series, but now that she’s made her presence known in pop culture, we have a feeling she is about to blow up for other reasons.

In 2018, González is set to star in two movies helmed by big-name directors: Robert Rodriguez’s Alita: Battle Angel and Robert Zemeckis’ The Women of Marwen.

Even though we’re just two months into 2018, we have a feeling that 2018 is going to be the year of Eiza González.

Predicted Crystal Palace starting XI: Hennessey; Delaney, Riedewald, Van Aanholt, Schlupp; McArthur, Townsend, Milivojevic, Wan-Bissaka, Sorloth; Benteke.

Predicted Manchester United starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Young; Matic, McTominay, Pogba; Sanchez, Martial, Lukaku.

Gonzaga vs. WVU Bettings Odds & Predictions

For anyone that is chomping at the bit for March Madness to begin, this week will offer a sizeable helping of Conference Tournament affairs that come as close to the highly anticipated tournament as you can get. Of course, there will be plenty of shocking upsets and lesser-known programs quietly asserting themselves to clinch a spot in one of the most highly watched postseason events of the year. Although these decidedly smaller and, to a degree, less meaningful affairs are not nearly as riveting as what transpires during March Madness, it is intriguing to watch the multitude of bubble teams compete valiantly during this final stretch of the regular season to earn themselves a place on the national stage. While the wait for Selection Sunday is always a difficult endeavor, there are at least enough competitive contests to temporarily hold your attention until the time comes to create your bracket, which more often than not, will most likely be busted sometime next week.

BYU Cougars vs. Saint Mary’s Gaels (22)

Although the West Coast Conference is arguably the least compelling conference in college basketball because of its lack of competitive programs, the conference tournament at least becomes more interesting as the better teams ultimately meet in crucial contests. While the BYU Cougars pale in comparison from a competitive standpoint when stacked up against Saint Mary’s and Gonzaga, they possess enough intriguing attributes to potentially upset their respective opponents. Shooting 48.5% from the field while hitting 75% of their free throw shots, the Cougars are one of the more underrated shooting programs in the country as their lack of overall point production (74.3 PPG) is not indicative of how efficient they are as an offense. Similarly, the Gaels are not particularly productive from a scoring perspective (77.1 PPG) but are incredibly accurate when shooting from practically anywhere on the court (51.5 FG%, 40.8 3P%). However, where the Gaels truly shine is on defense as they are proficient at guarding their assigned players and rarely relinquish easy shooting opportunities to their opponent (63.8 PAPG). In the end, this will be a low scoring yet well-played contest that will see the Gaels do just enough defensively to make it to the championship round of the conference tournament.

Final Score: Cougars 64 Gaels 67 Spread: Saint Mary’s -5.5

Louisville Cardinals vs. Florida State Seminoles

Without question, the Cardinals have been one of the unluckiest teams in college basketball this season. Losing a heartbreaker at home to Virginia with less than one second remaining in the game, the devastated Cardinals will have to once again regroup if they hope to take down one of the better rebounding teams in college basketball. Scoring 82 points per game while garnering 38.1 rebounds per game, the Seminoles possess the necessary physicality to garner themselves extra opportunities while also driving to the basket effectively in transition. For the Cardinals to win this contest, they will need to remain calm and poised under pressure while utilizing their swiftness to get to the basket before the bigger bodied Seminoles can get set defensively. In a contest that pits strength vs. speed, I’m going to give the slight edge to the athletic Cardinals who are more than capable of playing better than their 19-12 record would otherwise suggest.

Final Score: Cardinals 78 Seminoles 74 Spread:

Arizona State Sun Devils vs Colorado Buffaloes

For anyone that has watched Arizona State basketball, their strengths and weaknesses are pretty evident. A high-frequency scoring unit that seemingly refuses to play defense or rebound the basketball, the Sun Devils are a high-octane offense that shamelessly lives and dies by their shooters getting hot from the field at the right time. Conversely, the Buffaloes are a much more methodical program that is reliant on playing the glass effectively to prevent their opponents from scoring early and often (37.8 RPG). Unfortunately, the Buffaloes have failed to win consistently as they have serious issues when it comes to protecting the ball, something that all but nullifies their rebounding prowess on a regular basis (14 TPG). Although the Buffaloes could frustrate the Sun Devils by controlling the pace of play and rebounding the basketball, the Sun Devils will most likely be able to take advantage of the Buffaloes turnover issues and pull away in the second half.

Final Score: Sun Devils 84 Buffaloes 76 Spread:

Oklahoma Sooners vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys

Once considered a top-five team with one of the most gifted Freshman in the country in Trae Young, the Sooners have since dramatically fallen from that lofty pedestal and are now beholden to their success in the Big 12 Tournament in a desperate attempt to make the NCAA Tournament. Averaging 13 turnovers per game, the Sooners have been victimized by their lack of playmaking versatility and have been unable to win games consistently despite average over 86 points per game. Although the Cowboys are not much better defensively than the Sooners, they at least are consistent when it comes to making free throw shots (76.1 FT%) and are fairly tenacious when it comes snatching the ball from the opposition (seven SPG). While the Sooners may have the more talented athletes overall, the Cowboys have been much more efficient offensively in recent weeks and will most likely prevent the Sooners from becoming comfortable on offense by double-teaming and trapping Freshman phenom Trae Young.

Final Score: Sooners 79 Cowboys 86 Spread:

TCU Horned Frogs vs. Kansas State Wildcats

A less extreme version of the Oklahoma Sooners, the Horned Frogs are a gifted offensive program that rarely exerts any type of effort on the defensive end of the court. However, unlike the Sooners, the Horned Frogs are much better at rebounding the basketball and have more than one playmaker that can either pass or shoot the basketball. One of the few teams in the Big 12 without a prolific offense, the Wildcats are reliant on establishing a strong defensive presence initially and then finding ways to take the ball away from their opponent (eight SPG). However, the Wildcats are dreadful at rebounding the basketball (31 RPG), a deficiency that has come back to bite them against programs that are relentless at shooting and scoring the basketball. Although the Wildcats have the opportunistic defense needed to keep the Horned Frogs in check, TCU has too many productive shooters for Kansas State to keep in check throughout the entirety of this contest.

Final Score: Horned Frogs 78 Wildcats 72 Spread:

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Texas A&M Aggies

Losers of five games in a row, the Crimson Tide’s once sufficient defense has since succumbed to being below average as they have relinquished 73 points or more in four of their last five games. Worse still, the Crimson Tide’s offense is incapable of shooting from anywhere other than in the paint and are not particularly effective when it comes to making their shots from the charity stripe. Although the Aggies can hardly boast of having a decent defense themselves, they at least benefit themselves by being one of the best-rebounding programs in the country (41.3 RPG). Similar to the Crimson Tide, the Aggies also struggle to make mid and long-range jump shots and are overly reliant on their intimidating physicality to get themselves to the rim. Considering how fearlessly physical both of these programs are, I would expect this to be a low scoring affair that will not be aesthetically pleasing when it comes to watching both of these offenses. In the end, the size of the Aggies will eventually win out over a Crimson Tide program that lacks the strength to go up against this particular opponent.

Final Score: Crimson Tide 66 Aggies 73 Spread:

Providence Friars vs. Creighton Blue Jays

Ranking 160th or worse when it comes to rebounding, assists, points per game and points allowed per game, the Friars have been mostly reliant on their opponent having an off day to find any type of success. From a statistical perspective, the Friars can only be considered a competent program when it comes to garnering steals (seven SPG) and hitting their free throws (70 FT%). While the Blue Jays are equally poor as a defensive squad, they are highly prolific as a shooting program as they are incredibly accurate from the field (49.9 FG%) and are adept at hitting their free throws when they are presented with those particular opportunities (75 FT%). Although anything is possible, the Friars simply do not have the athletes and lack the necessary overall production needed to keep up with one of the deadliest and most proficient offenses in college basketball.

Final Score: Friars 66 Blue Jays 80 Spread:

San Diego State Aztecs vs. Fresno State Bulldogs

Although the Aztecs are not particularly productive in any one category when it comes to offense and defense, they do enough in both of those regards to be competitive enough from game to game. However, during their last six games, the Aztecs defense has actually established a fairly strong presence as they have held four of their last six opponents to 64 points or less. Similar to the Aztecs, the Bulldogs are not particularly exceptional at any one aspect of their game but have fared much better defensively down the stretch of the season as they have held their opponents to 65 points or less in their last six wins. Given the unconventional competitive nature of both of these programs, this a contest that could just as easily be a high-scoring affair as it could be low scoring one. However, the Aztecs have looked much stronger defensively recently and will most likely use that to their advantage in this contest.

Final Score: Aztecs 72 Bulldogs 68 Spread:

Baylor Bears vs. West Virginia Mountaineers (18)

As the Big 12 Conference has been rife with parity this season, you can bet that this contest will be highly competitive as both programs are vying for spots in the NCAA Tournament. Although the Baylor Bears have held their own when it comes to keeping most of their games close, they have usually struggled to close out most of their contests as their unreliable defense combined with their inconsistent offense has prevented them from being consistently competitive within their conference. While the Mountaineers have still struggled to consistently play defense, their offense has been incredibly productive down the stretch of the regular season as they have scored 79 points or more in their last three games. Even though the Bears have the length to keep the basketball away from the hands of the Mountaineers, West Virginia possess the better athletes and the necessary speed to wear down the inconsistent defense of Baylor in transition.

Final Score: Bears 74 Mountaineers 83 Spread:

Butler Bulldogs vs. Seton Hall Pirates

When the Bulldogs have found a rhythm on offense this year, they have looked like a well-oiled machine that can contend with some of the better programs in college basketball (see victory over Villanova). The problem is, the Bulldogs have not always been successful when it comes to making their perimeter shots (36 3P%), which has forced them to be a one-dimensional mid-range shooting team way too often. Although the Pirates are not nearly as capable as an offensive unit, they are especially adept at garnering rebounds (38.2 RPG) and are proficient at working their offense through their big men in Desi Rodriguez and Angel Delgado. If the Bulldogs can get hot from long range, they will have an excellent chance of winning this initial Big East Tournament contest. However, given how streaky the Bulldogs have been in that regard, I am putting more faith in the rebounding abilities of the Pirates to allow them to win a crucial contest that will elevate their seeding come March Madness.

Final Score: Bulldogs 71 Pirates 79 Spread:

Top 25 College Basketball Rankings 2018: Week 18 AP Poll

As this is the final week of the regular season, this week’s AP Poll will be the final time that fans will get to view their programs from a perspective that is not a tournament seeding format. Even though top-10 programs such as Michigan State, Kansas, Duke and Purdue all lost this week, none of these programs fell out of the top 10. In the case of the Blue Devils, they were able to stave off any type of a fall in the poll as they valiantly defeated their hated conference rival in North Carolina during the final game of the regular season. With conference tournament play commencing for the remaining power five conferences this week, there is still plenty to be decided in terms of overall NCAA Tournament seeding before Selection Sunday.

Top 25 College Basketball Rankings 2018: Week 18

Despite losing 11 games this season, the Florida Gators were pushed into the top-25 as they were able to beat Alabama and a ranked Kentucky team last week. Although the Gators do have one of the best point guards in the country in Chris Chiozza on their roster (6.1 APG), they are certainly not the high-octane offense that they were during the early part of the regular season. Even though Arkansas, Kentucky, and Missouri all had better overall records than Florida, the Gators were rewarded for having a slightly better conference record, which is something worth keeping an eye when the committee releases their NCAA Tournament selections on Sunday.

Defeating both Michigan State and Purdue last week in the Big 10 Tournament, the Michigan Wolverines asserted themselves as a dynamically deadly program that could feasibly win a National Title. Clutch at making three-point shots while relentlessly attacking their opponents with an aggressively cerebral defensive style, the Wolverines have all of the pieces and versatility needed to contend with any opponent they may face during March Madness. Can the Wolverines put it all together and finally win a National Title that has alluded this program throughout their competitive history as a college basketball team?

Four years after their “On the Run” tour, JAY-Z and Beyoncé announced and retracted the joint tour’s second installment. July 30 was given as the original starting date, as confirmed both by Ticketmaster and Beyoncé’s Facebook, but were later taken down.

What happened?

Early this Monday, July 30 was given as the starting date, with a show at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, as confirmed both by Ticketmaster and Beyoncé’s Facebook. Both confirmations have since been deleted, although screenshots are known to have survived, as seen above.

At this time, representatives for both artists have not issued a statement explaining why the tour date was retracted or confirming what the new dates are.

So when is the tour actually coming out?

An official tour announcement is still expected to come out this month. JAY-Z and Beyoncé worked on material for a joint album before crafting their latest projects, LEMONADE and 4:44.

The upcoming tour will be the first time the couple has toured together since the 2014 tour, in which they played stadiums across North America and Paris from June through September 2014, when they played shows behind Beyoncé and Magna Carta Holy Grail.

According to People, an inside source gave the following statement about the upcoming tour:

“They will tour together starting this summer…They are incredibly excited. It took a lot of work to make this happen. It’s the best choice for their family.”

“[Blue Ivy, Sir and Rumi] will all travel together and have a fun family adventure.”

As this story is developing, more information will be updated as made available.

Watch A Red-Faced Roger Goodell Run The 40-Yard Dash At Work

Despite what it looks like, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, wasn’t running from anyone. Nor did he just hear about another off the field issue, then hightail it to go nap at a bar. Quite the opposite actually. Like a real man’s man, he was standing his ground after being called out by NFL Network host Rich Eisen during the combine.

Eisen, who has run a 40-yard dash in a suit and tie at the combine every year since 2005, wondered if the 59-year-old Commissioner would join him this year. Roger accepted and said he would run his dash down the hallway on the fifth floor of the league’s New York City headquarters. The result was an impressive 5.41 – far better than Eisen’s personal best of 5.94.

Eisen turned his annual sprint into a charitable campaign to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Using the hashtag #RunRichRun, Eisen’s dash has raised over $300,000. Hopefully, Roger’s contribution will also help raise awareness for the great cause.

*Also, worth noting that Goodell ran faster than Orlando Brown. He’s the OT who was projected to go second in his position before the combine happened…

The Montage From The 90th Academy Awards Reaffirmed Everything We Love About The Movies

On March 4th, the 90th Academy Awards celebrated the year’s achievements in filmmaking. The Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Director were just some of the awards handed out at the ceremony honoring excellence in the film industry.

During the show, the Academy showed a video montage of some of the best moments, clips and memorable scenes from the past 90 years of filmmaking. Everything from To Kill A Mockingbird to Tropic Thunder was included and highlighted just why we watch movies in the first place. We go to the movies to laugh, cry and enjoy movie making at its finest, but also to be drawn into a story and to lose ourselves in a world that a collection of writers, directors, actors, composers and countless others have crafted for our enjoyment.

Sure, for every Goodfellas or Get Out we get to watch, we are also given an Emoji Movie. Not every movie is going to be an artistic masterpiece worthy of the Oscar for Best Picture, but not every release has to be. There is something seriously enjoyable about being able to sit down for two hours and enjoy a movie like The Fast and The Furious, where you can simply unplug your brain and have some fun.

The montage shown by the Academy was set to some of the best scores that we’ve listened to over the course of the past 90 years, music that is almost as important as the acting is when it comes to getting you drawn into a scene. Think about it, could you imagine not having John Williams’ “Imperial March” in Star Wars? Iconic doesn’t even begin to do that composition justice, and we are all the better for having heard it.

The quote from the legendary critic Roger Ebert is at the center of this montage and describes perfectly why we go to the movies:

“The purpose of civilization is to be able to empathize with other people and for me, the movies are like a machine that generates empathy. It lets you understand a little bit more about different hopes, aspirations, dreams and fears.”

Frances McDormand’s Oscar Thief Arrested: Filmed Himself With Award

The 90th Academy Awards were more than a bit overwhelming for actress Frances McDormand, as the Best Actress winner had her Oscar statue briefly stolen following the ceremony. According to TMZ, sources have confirmed that the thief’s name is Oscar Thief. Bryan has since been booked on charges of felony grand theft.

Bryant apparently swiped McDormand’s Oscar statue from her table at The Governor’s Ball, held at the Hollywood & Highland Center following the 90th Academy Awards on Sunday, taking time to record himself and offer people around him a chance to touch the statue.

According to Cara Buckley of the New York Times, he was eventually stopped by Wolfgang Puck’s photographer before being tracked down and apprehended by security. While the statue was taken away from him and eventually returned to McDormand, it was unclear whether Bryant was able to slip back into the party before finally being arrested.

McDormand was reportedly in tears after the statue went missing, though representatives confirmed she had been reunited with it that night, as McDormand’s representative said, “Fran and Oscar are happily reunited and are enjoying an In-N-Out burger together.

McDormand, 60, took home the Oscar for her role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, a Martin McDonagh-directed drama about a mother who confronts local police over her daughter’s unsolved murder. It was her second Best Actress win at the Oscars, having taken home the award previously for her role in Fargo.
