Kurt Angle Net Worth 2017: How Much Is Angle Worth Now?

$
0
0

Kurt Angle is the legendary Olympic gold medalist turned WWE icon. He’s a WWE Hall of Famer, a 6-time WWE World Champion, a 6-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, and a 1-time IWGP World Champion. At WWE TLC 2017, he wrestled in a WWE ring for the first time in 11 years, as he teamed up with The Shield’s Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to battle WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro), “The Big Red Machine” Kane, and “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman.

Angle originally rose to fame after winning a gold medal during the 1996 Olympic Games. During that, Angle won the competition with a broken freakin’ neck. Oh, it’s true! It’s damn true! Now-a-days, he’s mostly watching from the sidelines as the on-screen general manager of Monday Night Raw.

After over 20 years of wrestling, Angle has certainly collected a pretty penny. Let’s see how much moolah the Olympic gold medalist has earned over the years…

Kurt Angle Net Worth as of 2017: $20 Million

Angle has earned a whopping $20 million from his long career in professional wrestling. He made a name for himself in the WWE, where he had phenomenal feuds and matches with the likes of Triple H, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, and many more. After he left WWE in 2006, he continued to have incredible matches with a new batch of talent, such as AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, and many more. Kurt Angle is known for his 5-star in-ring ability and inspiring persona. He may very well be one of the best wrestlers who ever lived. Oh, it’s true! It’s damn true!

1996 – 2006

Following Angle’s Olympic gold medal win in 1996, he looked towards a career in professional wrestling. After trying out ECW and NWA, Angle found a home in WWE in fall of 1999. The Olympian’s rise to the top was unprecedented at the time; within less than a year, he won the Intercontinental Championship, the King of the Ring, the European Championship, and the WWF (then WWE) Championship.

During his initial seven-year stay with the company, Angle won six world championships, including a 4-time WWE Champion, and as well as a 1-time World Heavyweight Champion and 1-time WCW Champion.

Angle was involved in many famous feuds while with the WWE. Perhaps, his most infamous feud came in the form of a love triangle between Kurt, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon in the summer of 2000.

2006-2016

Following his run with WWE, Angle shifted focus over to another pro wrestling company known as TNA: Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (which is now known as GFW: Global Force Wrestling). Angle spent a full ten years with TNA (from 2006-2016). While with the company, he became the inaugural TNA World Heavyweight Champion, a title that he would hold a record six times.

He is also a former 2-time TNA World Tag Team Champion, as well as a former TNA X-Division Champion. Angle also made appearances for  New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and the Inoki Genome Federation (IGF), while still working with TNA. During that time, he was able to capture the IWGP Heavyweight Championship from former WWE foe Brock Lesnar in 2007.

In 2013, Angle was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame.

2016 – Present

After a long ten year stretch with TNA, Angle called it quits with the Nashville-based promotion in 2016. He spent the rest of the year wrestling for various independent promotions before returning to the WWE in 2017 to be inducted into that year’s Hall of Fame.

On the April 3, 2017, Kurt Angle was announced as the new general manager of Monday Night Raw.

Angle wrestled in a WWE ring for the first time in over 11 years at WWE TLC 2017 when he filled in for an injured Roman Reigns. He teamed up with Shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to battle The Miz, The Bar, “The Big Red Machine” Kane, and “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman. I wonder how that match turned out…

On Sunday, John Stamos, the 54-year-old Fuller House actor announced his engagement to girlfriend Caitlin McHugh.

The veteran actor shared a drawing of himself and the 31-year-old stunner in front of the castle at Disneyland.

“I asked … she said yes! …And we lived happily ever after,” Stamos wrote.

According to a statement given to PEOPLE from Stamos’ representatives, the actor proposed to his girlfriend at Disneyland by cutting together a film combining romantic moments from Disney and Pixar animation films, concluding with Sebastian from “The Little Mermaid” encouraging Stamos to “just ask the girl.”

Stamos, who’s best known for his role as Uncle Jesse in Full House and Fuller House, was previously married to model Rebecca Romijn, who he wed in 1998, and then divorced in 2005.

Caitlin, an actress who has appeared in The Vampire Diaries, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and NCIS: Los Angeles, began dating Stamos in 2016.

Even at 54-years-old, Uncle Jesse is slaying more than most of us ever will.

SUNY Geneseo Professor Facing Backlash For Offensive Transgender Slideshow

David Sorbello, a SUNY Geneseo professor, is facing backlash after he used a presentation slide about transgender individuals.

According to reports, the slide shown was titled “Female or Shemale? Can you tell?” and featured 16 photos of women. Sorbello, a sociology professor, then allegedly asked students to label which women on screen were trans women.

Jasmine Cui, SUNY Geneseo sophomore, student senator and member of the diversity committee posted the photo to Twitter and Facebook, saying that the school’s sociology department needs to “rethink” their approach in teaching transgender women.

“The professor was quoted as saying: “so this is a lesson to you all not to get too drunk or you might take the wrong one home,” Cui allegedly said.

SUNY Geneseo released a full statement about Sorbello’s offensive slide:

A situation that took place in a sociology classroom earlier this week has been brought to my attention and I felt the need to communicate to you about it, particularly as it pertains to our value of inclusivity. A professor is reported to have presented materials and made comments about which some students have expressed concern. We are taking the matter very seriously and are gathering the facts to determine if and what action is warranted.

The classroom is an environment in which students and faculty can and should discuss challenging topics and ideas, which makes it all the more important that we gather and fully review the facts in this case.

As we review this situation, let me say unequivocally that SUNY Geneseo has a steadfast and uncompromising commitment to diversity and inclusivity. We work diligently to sustain an inviting and supportive environment for people of all gender identities, gender expressions, sexual orientations, races, religions and other identities.

I use this opportunity to remind you that our Interim Chief Diversity Officer robbie routenberg is available as a resource to the campus community. I would also encourage any students who have support needs to contact Lenny Sancilio, dean of students, and Dillon Federici, coordinator of LGBTQ Programs and Services.

Two online petitions regarding this incident have been started, one for Geneseo community members and one for SUNY Geneseo students.  More than 100 students have signed a petition calling for Geneseo’s firing.

Let Jennifer Lopez Drastically Improve Your Monday Morning

If Jennifer Lopez has any sort of moral compass, she’ll donate her brain/DNA to science after she dies so scientists can study how the hell she stayed so perfectly hot for so long? Yes, exercise and diets and money, but at a certain point it all boils down to genetics, and J. Lo’s are clearly on another — if not alien — level entirely.

While you were recovering from your hangover yesterday, J Lo posted a fire new video to Instagram for Paper Magazine. Directed by photographer Ellen von Unwerth for Paper Magazine, the video shows J. Lo doing a bunch of artsy shit and blah blah blah.

Honestly, if you’d rather read a description of how hot the video is instead of just watching it for yourself, you got issues man.

I mean, seriously, if you’re even still reading at this point, I’m just going to change the subject entirely. Let me tell you about the time I broke my ankle, the only bone I’ve ever broken.

I was about 19 and heading into my sophomore year at Rutgers. Summer in my hometown was winding down so a buddy of mine up the road had one last party before we all headed back to school. Anyway, back in my day, Uber and Lyft weren’t around yet, so if you were going to a party, someone was either designated driving or driving drunk — it was just the facts of life back in 2012. BUT, this party was so close to my house that it was one of those special occasions where I could get absolutely hammered and not have to worry about how I was getting home since I was going Fred Flintstone my way home anyway.

Long story short, since only the true psychopaths are still reading at this point and I have other things to do on this fine Monday morning, some horseplay (I jumped off a deck) led to me breaking (fracturing? the one where it’s not completely broken) my ankle, the only problem is, I didn’t really realize it (thanks, alcohol) and still had to make that half-mile-or-so walk back to my own house.

The next morning I wake up and my ankle is the size of about, well, two ankles. Two thicc ankles. I try to get out of bed but immediately collapse in pain, finally realizing, “F*ck me dude, that’s definitely broken.”

I call my ex-girlfriend to come pick me up — since there is NO way I’m waking up my parents with the news that their idiot son broke his ankle a week before he heads back to college — and trek to the hospital. I’m in a walking boot for about 8 weeks, 7 of which I spent living at a frat house. Thank god for pledges and sympathy p***y, am I right?

Moral of the story? Uber and Lyft are marvels of science, kids. Cherish them.

Michigan Teacher Exacts Revenge On Student By Sharing Their Browser History

It is wise to always remember and heed the golden rule of the internet: always delete your browsing history. Don’t even bookmark. And when all else fails, get a hammer and do what must be done to take “care” of your laptop. In the end, if someone gets a hold of your browsing history, no matter how innocent, it will be used against you, and it will burn. Students taking a course from the University of Michigan learned this the hard way when their professor got revenge for them not paying attention in class by making a slideshow of their browsing history.

I don’t know what’s weirder…that college kids have over $200 to spend on turtle necks or that they think they can breed dragons

Normally, students are allowed to bring laptops and other similar devices to class to take notes, and occasionally because they use online e-books. However, Meg Veitch, a professor of the “EARTH 222/ENVIRON 232” course at the Michigan school, learned the hard way just how students were taking advantage of that. Making use of the shared network, however, she had the last laugh.

Browsing History

Source: Shutterstock.com

According to College Times, the list included such gems as the “Chipotle menu,” “Hamilton tickets,” “Pornography,” “Breeding Dragons” and “Buying $240 worth of turtle necks [sic].” Other oddly specific search results included looking at pictures of sliced bread and photoshopping images of the president onto pictures of the Muppets.

In a way, this is just the modern version of making students read their notes out loud in class, or humiliating the kid who draws in their notebook. Still, this is college; are you really going to not pay attention in a class that you actually paid to take? I mean, at least elementary school kids who pull this did not have a choice in the matter!

Florida Teacher Arrested For Relationship With 15-Year-Old Female Student

Jaclyn Truman, a 30-year-old Florida teacher, was arrested on Friday, October 20 after she was accused of having a sexual relationship with a female student last year.

Truman, 30, allegedly had an inappropriate two-month relationship with a 15-year-old female student last year while serving as a substitute teacher at Hagerty High School in Seminole County, Florida.

According to WFTV, the unidentified 15-year-old student told investigators that she and Truman had sex “multiple times” in the school from March to May 2016.

Truman was placed on paid administrative leave on October 4 after the alleged incident was reported to the Florida Department of Children and Families.

via Orlando Sentinel:

Seminole County Public Schools received a report Oct. 2 from Child Protective Services about the allegations and Truman was placed on paid administrative leave the same day, district spokesman Michael Lawrence said. She submitted a letter of resignation Sept. 27 to be effective Oct. 20, Lawrence said. The resignation became effective and final Thursday.

On Thursday, Truman also turned herself in and is cooperating with law enforcement, Kealing said. She is charged with two counts of lewd acts on a minor and is jailed in lieu of $40,000 bail.

Truman started working for Seminole County Public Schools in 2005 as an instructional assistant at Lyman High School. In 2008, she became a teacher there where she worked until 2013. She resigned to take a job as Coordinator for Mentored and Pastoral Counseling at Asbury Theological Seminary, Lawrence said.

According to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, Truman’s bail was set at $40,000, the sheriff’s office said. Bob Kealing, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, said Truman taught at a few schools in the Seminole County school district, while Michael Lawrence, the Seminole County Public Schools spokesman, said a background check was done before Truman was hired full-time.

Local police are asking anyone with information about other incidents involving Truman to call the Sheriff’s Office at 407-665-6650.

Georgia Music Teacher Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Student

Kayla Berrie, the 23-year-old assistant band director at Long County High School in Georgia, has been charged with sexually assaulting one of her male students.

Berrie, 23, was arrested on Wednesday, October 18, following a lengthy investigation.

According to the Long County Sheriff’s Office, Berrie is currently out on $5,000 bond and the case will go to the grand jury next March. The charges came after a four-month investigation into the alleged assault.

The Long County High School website says that Berrie who has been suspended served as director of choral activities and assistant band director at Long County High School.

via Daily Mail:

Berrie, a recent graduate of the University of Georgia, was hired last year as director of choral activities and assistant band director at Long County High School. According to the sheriff’s office, they learned on September 29 of Berrie’s alleged sexual encounter with her 15-year-old student at the end of the previous school year after the victim confided in a friend. The boy’s friend then went with that information to his mother, who also teaches at the school.

As of Monday morning, her name was still listed on the high school’s website. Besides working as a high school chorus teacher, Berrie has been pursuing a career as a singer-songwriter, jazz vocalist and saxophone player. According to an interview published in the University of Georgia newspaper The Red & Black in June 2016, Berrie got her first big break as a musician when she was invited to take part in the annual AthFest musical festival in Athens, Georgia, that year.

Berrie revealed in the Q&A that she started writing songs in 2015 but has been singing and playing the saxophone from the time she was a young girl. She also talked about drawing her inspiration from Sara Bareilles and wanting to put out her first album, which she did this summer. Her self-titled debut album was released on August 18, including 10 songs with titles like ‘Drowning Together’ and ‘Mr Spaghetti.’

Berrie has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of the case.

Week 9, College Football Picks 2017: Spread & Predictions

$
0
0

It’s starting to get real folks. While the past weekend of college football matchups lacked serious intrigue in terms of wildly unpredictable upsets, it did effectively reveal the contenders and pretenders. The Fighting Irish won emphatically at home over a Trojans squad that had been turnover prone throughout the season, effectively knocking USC out of the playoff picture. Penn State earned a redemption victory over an offensively inept Michigan Wolverines program that is currently unranked as a result of the loss. Both of the aforementioned victors have tough matchups this week against formidable ranked opponents, which will be crucial for both Notre Dame and Penn State to further solidify their resumes. Will the Cinderella teams prevail this week or will the top dogs continue to assert their dominance?

Oklahoma State Cowboys (11) vs. West Virginia Mountaineers (23)

Instagram Photo

After scoring no less than 31 points in a game throughout the season, the Cowboys prolific offense was stifled against a scrappy Longhorns defense, barely winning the contest by a score of 13-10. While the Mountaineers may not have a competent defense, they have been able to prevail more often than not thanks to a top-5 passing attack led by quarterback Will Grier who has already thrown for 26 touchdowns this season. However, the Mountaineers have been living on the edge the last couple of weeks as they needed a second-half comeback to beat Texas Tech and barely held off a late-game comeback by the winless Baylor Bears last week. Although the Cowboys are not necessarily known for their defensive prowess, it’s adequate enough to give them the slight breathing room they will need to win an epic shootout.

Final Score: Cowboys 34 Mountaineers 28 Spread: Oklahoma State -7.5

Louisville Cardinals vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Instagram Photo

There’s no getting around it, the Cardinals have one of the worst defenses in college football. In their losses this season, the Cardinals have given up 39 points or more, something that has overshadowed the draw-dropping athleticism of Lamar Jackson. Conversely, the Demon Deacons have been one of the more resilient defenses in college football as they gave up no more than 19 points in their first four games of the season (won all four). However, Wake Forest has struggled to stifle dynamic offenses, as they have lost three straight to Florida State, Clemson, and Georgia Tech most recently. Simply put, both teams have serious flaws and their one-dimensional natures will consistently keep them out of the limelight as truly competitive programs. I’ll give the edge to the Cardinals in this one simply because the Demon Deacons have struggled on defense recently and will have their hands full with a Lamar Jackson led offense.

Final Score: Cardinals 34 Demon Deacons 26 Spread: Louisville -3.0

TCU Horned Frogs (4) vs. Iowa State Cyclones (25)

Instagram Photo

While there have been several teams that have persevered over early season woes, the Cyclones have looked particularly impressive since losing a heartbreaker to Iowa 44-41 in week 2. Since quarterback Kyle Kempt took over passing duties against the Sooners, the Cyclones have sported one of the better passing attacks in college football with the senior passer completing nearly 70% of his passes. However, the Cyclones have not faced a program quite as well-balanced and defensively fierce as the Horned Frogs. TCU quarterback Kenny Hill has looked fantastic all season long, completing less than 66% of passes only once this season. On top of that, the Horned Frogs have a potent rushing attack led by running back Darius Anderson (5.8 rush yards per game), something the Cyclones have not had in the explosive but wildly inconsistent rusher David Montgomery. The Cyclones will hang tough throughout this contest, but the Horned Frogs simply have more firepower on both defense and offense.

Final Score: Horned Frogs 35 Cyclones 28 Spread: TCU -6.0

NC State Wolfpack (14) vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (9)

Instagram Photo

Out of all of the ranked vs. ranked contests that are available to view this week, this may be one of the more compelling matchups to take in. While both teams have contrasting offensive styles, both have been effective at scoring consistently while boasting two impressive defenses. Wolfpack quarterback Ryan Finely has been one of the most underrated players in college football this year, as he has thrown 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions to go along with a highly efficient completion percentage of 69.4%. What the Fighting Irish lack in a cerebral passer, they more than make up for with a fast-paced rushing game that looked especially dominant against the Trojans last week. While I’m a firm believer as the Wolfpack being legitimate competitors in the ACC, the proven defense and relentless rushing attack of the Fighting Irish will be a bit too much for NC State to handle down the stretch.

Final Score: Wolfpack 26 Fighting Irish 30 Spread: Notre Dame -7.5

Michigan State Spartans (16) vs. Northwestern Wildcats

Instagram Photo

If you love defensive grudge matches, you’ll love what this particular contest has to offer. While the Spartans have struggled to pass the football, their effective rushing attack, and otherworldly defense have kept them in games down the stretch. Although the Wildcats have struggled to run the football this year, their defense has been much sharper over the past two weeks and quarterback Clayton Thorson has been more adept at using his legs to score for the Wildcats. While the Spartans have the better defense, their inconsistent offense will finally catch up with them in this underrated Big 1o affair that will see the Wildcats eek out an impressive victory at home.

Final Score: Spartans 13 Wildcats 19 Spread: Michigan State -2.0

Penn State Nittany Lions (2) vs. Ohio State Buckeyes (6)

Instagram Photo

On paper, this contest could possibly be the best regular season matchup of the year. In the major categories on offense and defense, the differences between these two teams are so minuscule that it’s hard to gauge the strengths and weaknesses that could determine the outcome of this game. While the Buckeyes have a more versatile rushing attack led by Mike Weber and J.K. Dobbins, the Nittany Lions arguably have the best player in the country in running back Saquon Barkley who can do it all. In terms of quarterback play, it’s hard to downplay what quarterback J.T. Barrett has done on the field since losing in week 2 to Oklahoma (has thrown at least two touchdown passes per game since September 16th). However, quarterback Trace McSorley is much more battle tested and made a well-respected Michigan defense look silly as he was able to both run and throw the football with immense success. Given how evenly matched these two defenses are, the deciding factor will likely come down to which quarterback makes the most plays. In that regard, I’m giving a very slight edge to a dynamic and confident McSorely on the road.

Final Score: Nittany Lions 30 Buckeyes 28 Spread: Ohio State -6.0

Houston Cougars vs. USF Bulls (17)

Instagram Photo

While the Bulls have not been featured prominently in the prime-time spotlight, quarterback Quinton Flowers has been one the most productive playmakers on the field this year. While he’s not a great passer in terms of accuracy, he can make some impressive deep passes from time to time and possesses the sheer speed to blow past defensive lines in the ground game. Although the Cougars have a much better passer in quarterback Kyle Postma, their once resilient defense has looked dreadful over the past two weeks as they have given up 40+ points to the likes of Tulsa and Memphis. The Bulls, on the other hand, have looked great defensively throughout most of the season and should be able to stay undefeated this week given what they can do offensively.

Final Score: Cougars 21 Bulls 35 Spread: USF -10.5

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Oklahoma Sooners (10)

This intriguing prime-time matchup features two of the best passing attacks in college football while neither one is particularly effective defensively. While the Red Raiders rank near the bottom of the FBS in terms of points allowed (30.9 per game), they’ve been able to remain competitive because of the superb quarterback play of Nic Shimonek (completion percentage of 70.9 on the season). However, while Shimonek has been the saving grace for the Red Raiders, Heisman candidate Baker Mayfield has been better as he has completed 73.8% of his passes for 19 touchdowns and two interceptions while averaging 11.62 yards per pass attempt. Although the Red Raiders should be able to hold their own in the first half, their poor defense will eventually succumb to a superior passing game on the road.

Final Score: Red Raiders 34 Sooners 44 Spread: Oklahoma -20.0

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs. Clemson Tigers (7)

Instagram Photo

Throughout the first six games of the season, the Tigers looked like the best team in the country on both offense and defense. After dispatching three top-14 ranked opponents in their first five games, the Tigers appeared to be on cruise control en route to an undefeated season. Then they played Syracuse. Although quarterback Kelly Bryant was knocked out of the game early on, Clemson’s defense uncharacteristically gave up one big passing play after another. While the Yellow Jackets have a potent offense, they cannot pass the ball with the same effectiveness as the Orange. After getting exposed by a determined Miami defense two weeks ago, the Yellow Jackets triple-option offense will likely struggle to consistently put up points against a well-rested Tigers defensive front.

Final Score: Yellow Jackets 20 Tigers 36 Spread: EVEN

Washington State Cougars (15) vs. Arizona Wildcats

Instagram Photo

Although the Pac-12 may not have a team clinch a playoff berth by the end of the season, there are still plenty of notable west coast matchups to visually devour until then. Aside from an embarrassing loss to California two weeks ago, the Cougars have proven to be the best at passing the ball in the Pac-12, which has been helped even more thanks to a stingy defense that keeps them on the field. While the Wildcats are offensively sound in their own right, their success has come via a dynamic run game, which is led by dual-threat quarterback Khalil Tate. What has kept the Wildcats from being truly great is an awful defense that has relinquished just under 30 points per game this year. For that reason, I see the Cougars putting up big numbers on the road.

Final Score: Cougars 37 Wildcats 29 Spread: Washington State -2.5

Julio Jones Thinks All That Fog Was A Little Too Convenient For The Patriots

NBC/NFL

The Sunday Night Football game between the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots was a disaster for pretty much everyone: for the Falcons, for fans of good football, for people who bet the over, for the camera crews — everyone. Point is, the much-hyped Super Bowl rematch between the Falcons and Patriots was almost unwatchable for everyone involved and we mean that both figuratively and literally.

In case you didn’t notice or give a shit, Gilette Stadium was covered in a high-key thicc layer of smoke/fog/smog/smug during last night’s game, and none other than Julio Jones just thought it was a little too coincidental, given the high-flying, deep shot nature of the Falcons offense.

via CBS Boston:

“It didn’t affect me, but it’s crazy though, like, they score and they shoot fireworks off and then it sits high, kind of in the stadium,” Jones told CBS Boston. “So it’s kind of hard, like, if you do get behind, like how can you throw deep balls and things like that, because it’s foggy? I mean, it didn’t affect us at all though. They were just the better team tonight.”

To Julio’s credit, while he does not make excuses for the Falcons’ pitiful 7-point outing, he does raise a couple of interesting and simple points.

The first is about the fireworks the Patriots light off after they score, a tradition they’ve had for as long as I’ve watched football. Yes, the Patriots have been doing this forever, but never have I seen it affect the field this much. As a Jets fan, I watch at least one Patriots home game a year, and that’s not even counting all of the times they’re featured in primetime. So while the smoke itself is nothing new, the severity of it was.

The second point he makes is a scientific one (kind of) but not worded as accurately as it could have been. What Jones says is “how can you throw deep balls” in that kind of fog, but what he should be asking is “how do you see deep balls” in that kind of fog. Now, while I’m no scientist, I would theorize finding, tracking, and catching a 50-yard-pass through heavy smoke is much more difficult than catching it without said heavy smoke. That, folks, is just science.

So, the question remains, did the Patriots mess around with their cannons (gunpowder, etc) to create more prominent smoke? Probably not. But, because they’re the New England Patriots, they’ve lost the benefit of the doubt, so we definitely won’t be giving it to them.

And thus begins #SmokeGate2017.

The body Nicholas Pratico, an 18-year-old New Jersey college student who had been missing for over month, has been found near campus, police say.

According to reports, the body of Pratico, 18, was found near the campus of Mercer County Community College on the morning of Monday, October 23. Authorities said an autopsy will be performed by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine his cause of death.

Investigators had released surveillance images showing Pratico’s last known location. Pratico was seen at Mercer County Community College on Wednesday, September 20, wearing a blue t-shirt and blue backpack. His parents reported him missing later that night.

He was found on October 23 by Hamilton police and State Police along Old Trenton Road across from the community college.

An autopsy, set to be performed by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office, will determine the official cause of death.

In their statement, the Hamilton Police Division extended its deepest condolences to the Pratico family and thanked the contributing state, local, county agencies and civilian volunteers for their assistance in searching for Practico.

Halloween ‘Adulting’ 2017: 7 Best Ways To Trick-or-Treating Past Proper Age

Halloween Adulting 2017

With all the fun of Halloween festivals and wine parties, we often forget the simple joys of trick-or-treating, especially given that it is cheaper and more available than festivals for most people. Sure, you could just buy the candy yourself, but that costs money. Going around asking people for candy does not directly cost money. It is clearly a wise investment. That said, when you reach your Twenties, people start to call the police when they catch you trick-or-treating. Fortunately, College Times has come with a list of ways to help the average twenty-something to thirty-something still be Peter Pan.

Here are the seven ways you can get free candy this year!

Plan a Song & Dance Routine!

Halloween

Why should Christmas have the monopoly on door-to-door carolers? Have a little song-and-dance prepared to go along with your character. Even if it’s just some slam poetry, people will think it’s performance art and give you candy. Or money handouts. Which, if saved up, can be exchanged for candy.

Borrow Some Children

Halloween

If you have relatives with young children who seem bitter about having to take said children out on Halloween night, you can always offer your services. Alternatively, you could adopt children, make children the old-fashioned way or lure children to your gingerbread house in the Black Forest and force them to go trick-or-treating with you, but all that could take months we just don’t have!

Wear Shoes on Your Knees

Halloween

If people think you actually are just an ugly child, there is no risk involved! Alternatively, just have your knees surgically removed for the night. It will just save you the trouble in upcoming years.

Wear a Disguise

Halloween

Even if parents decide to call the police on you, it might be alright if nobody figures out who you are in the end. Don’t quote me on that. Regardless, you are supposed to be wearing a costume already, so you might as well go all the way with it.

Explain You Are Horribly Disturbed & Just Play Along

Halloween

Source: Shutterstock.com

Let’s be honest. Nobody wants to ask the awkward questions about life, and so they probably won’t ask them anyway. Besides, people can be nice about things if you are upfront about things.

Imply You Are Collecting Candy For Charity

Halloween

Source: Shutterstock.com

Either way, explain that it’s for charity or for a sick child at home. Just make sure you do it quick enough so people don’t wonder why you don’t just buy the candy yourself. If they do ask you about this, just say your kid is watching you from a window and wants things to be authentic.

Be Honest

Honestly, I’m not sure how different this idea is from the “Horribly Disturbed” explanation, either. For bonus points, go as Pinnochio.

A teacher in South Florida has been fired after she threw an X-rated surprise party for a former student in her classroom.

According to WSVN, the party took place at Mater Lakes Academy, a charter school for grades six through 12 in Northwest Miami-Dade. Parents say that the party happened in the dance teacher’s classroom after school Wednesday.

Reports indicate that the after-school party was for one of the teacher’s former students, but children as young as 11-years-old were in attendance. Some of the decorations included dildos, penis candles, and lollipop vaginas.

via WSVN:

“In the videos, we see how they were preparing for the surprise party. And as the boy walked in, they surprised him with a hat that had a penis attached to the top and a string to be able to pull it so it can get erected,” said the mother. The party included rubber penises, penis candles, penis hats and more.

“You can’t even imagine,” said the mother. “You know, I’ve raised my daughter the proper way and never taught her anything similar to that.”

She said her daughter is extremely upset. “She couldn’t sleep last night. She woke up crying,” said the mother. “It hurts that she’s being taught this at the school where I trust she’s gonna be taken care of.”

The party happened in front of students as young as 11 years old. Mater Lakes Academy told 7News the dance teacher has been fired, but wouldn’t say who brought in the X-rated party favors.

School officials released an official statement, saying “The number one priority is the safety and well-being of our students and faculty. Once we became aware of the situation, we addressed it immediately and have taken the appropriate measures and the individual has been dismissed.”

Police are still investigating the incident. The name of the teacher responsible has not yet been released.

Daisy Berkowitz Net Worth 2017: How Much Is The Former Marilyn Manson Guitarist Worth Now?

Former Marilyn Manson guitarist and co-founder Daisy Berkowitz passed away on Sunday after a four-year battle with colon cancer. The 49-year-old musician began his music career back in 1989 as part of Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids, diving into the media obsession with serial killers, violence, and beautiful women, and blending it into their own unique sound of industrial metal.

Berkowitz was born Scott Mitchell Putesky in Florida on April 28, 1968. He’s most famous for his work as part of the band Marilyn Manson, under the stage name of Daisy Berkowitz. He left the band in 1996, pursuing a solo career, while using his own birth name for his music rather on piggy-backing on the success of his former stage name. Despite leaving the ultra-successful shock-rock group, he’s still managed to collect a pretty penny over the years…

Daisy Berkowitz Net Worth as of 2017: $20 Million

Daisy’s net worth is estimated to be roughly $20 Million. He spent over 20 years in the music industry, most famously performing as the guitarist for the band Marilyn Manson. Although, he left the group in 1996, he was still able to prolong his career for another 20 years. Let’s see his road to riches and success…

1989 – 1996

Instagram Photo

While in Fort Lauderdale club in 1989, Berkowitz met Brian Warner (the future Marilyn Manson). Later a local after part in December 1989, the duo came up with the idea of Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids. By March 1990, they assembled a band, along with Warner’s Broward Community College schoolmate Brian Tutunick and Perry Pandrea. On April 28, 1990, the group played their first show at Churchills, a club in Miami.

Berkowitz stayed with the group until 1996, when he had a falling out with Warner, citing creative differences. While still with the band, he contributed to hit albums, such as “Portrait of an American Family,” “Smells Like Children,” and at least six songs from “Antichrist Superstar”.

1996 – Present

After leaving Marilyn Manson, he attempted to start his own solo career, going under his initials SMP. He released his solo debut “Vanishing Century,” which saw a limited release and was sold out quickly.

He spent the next decade performing in live concerts. He also successfully sued Marilyn Manson for unpaid royalty rights for contributions to the album “Antichrist Superstar”.

In July 2010, Scott Putesky joined the electro-punk band Kill Miss Pretty.

Putesky passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2017, following a four-year battle with cancer. He was originally diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in September 2013.

$

America’s most popular drinking game has been given a ‘millennial makeover.’

Replace those red solo cups with plastic champagne glasses and fill them up with the bubbly, white wine drink known as Prosecco and you have yourself a more classy version of the traditional beer-drinking game.  The party decor company known as “Talking Tables” has put a classy twist on the game of beer pong with its introduction of the “Prosecco Pong” game set that comes complete with 12 plastic champagne glasses and three pong balls.

Instagram Photo

There has been a lot of reaction to the new game that is more likely to be played at bachelorette parties than frat parties and not everyone is excited to play. Most of this reaction has taken place via Twitter.

Some find it to be overpriced and unnecessary.

While others are keeping a more open mind when it comes to the new game.

While it may not be so well-received by drinking game “traditionalists,” “Prosecco Pong” should definitely spark curiosity in some.

Get it for your next brunch party or as a holiday gift…

Or if you’re just looking for a reason to drink more sparkling wine then you’ve probably ever had in one sitting.

For those of you who want to give “Prosecco Pong” a chance the box set goes on sale right before Christmas time and can be purchased online through the company’s website.

Kit Harrington Is Not Cool With The Bieber-Esque Fame That Comes With Being Jon Snow

HBO

Look, super fans are super f*cking weird, and it doesn’t really matter what industry we’re talking about.

Whether it be music groupies or comic book nerds of Game Of Throners (throners = Thrones + boner), the people who get dressed up in costume and go to conventions and chase the actors around the world are plain weird. Sorry if you’re one of them, but you need to find a way to better spend your time then camping outside of Kit Harrington’s Belfast hotel.

Now, all that said, Harrington just needs to have a little self-awareness and keep these concerns to himself, which he generally tends to do. Trust us, Kit, us normals understand how much it would suck to be Jon Snow-famous. I wouldn’t wish that level of fame on my psycho ex-girlfriend.

But you know what else sucks? Poverty, dude. You know what also kind of sucks, Kit? Living paycheck to paycheck — definitely blows.  So yes, while his gripes are understandable and legitimate, they are comparatively laughable to the problems us normals face.

via The Guardian:

Thronesmania is, he acknowledges, “bizarre and weird”. “Like, being in Spain and there being a crowd of 500, maybe 600 fans camped outside the hotel every day, and you have to get through them. It feels like being Bieber or something.”

When Snow became the brooding heart-throb of the Thrones world, Harington became a kind of boyband pin-up, too. “Yeah,” he sighs. “I don’t particularly enjoy that.” He catches himself. He speaks of his “privilege” often and is acutely conscious of anything that sounds like he’s whining. “I don’t know. Do I? I’m glad I’ve experienced it, but that’s what I mean about it being eight years, then it’s done. You couldn’t go on for much longer. It’s a bit incessant.”

In all honesty, Harrington does seem like a good dude who gets it. But, when you’re making more money than 99% of the world, you have to be very, very careful with where, how, and when you complain.

Seriously, Kit, by all means, bitch about the pervy fans who creep you out, just do it behind closed doors. We get that being wildly famous, rich, and handsome can be a mildly annoying sometimes. Plus, is anyone actually sure this guy can actually act? Or is he going to be stuck in a Friends/Seinfeld scenario where he never lands another role because people only see him as Jon Snow? Only time will tell.
