This past week, college football fans were treated to some of the most exhilarating and shocking contests of the season. Even before the main slate of games commenced on Saturday, two top 10 teams had already succumbed to inferior opponents, setting up a weekend for the perceived underdogs to topple overrated pretenders. By Saturday’s end into the early hours of Sunday, the landscape of competitiveness had been altered drastically with only Alabama emerging from the chaos as the best team in the nation. This week, there are a couple of exciting ranked opponents going head to head along with the usual fair of underrated contests.

These are the years wherein Robert Downey Jr. was at the peak of his career. Iron Man grossed $318 million at the box office. His versatility in acting also made him a Hollywood icon. Downey’s talents were recognized when he won an Oscar for his supporting performance. He also got a SAG Award nomination for his outstanding performance in the film.

2009 – Present

Besides appearing in the Sherlock Holmes movie, Downey’s fame continues as he’s returned to the spotlight for Marvel’s latest film, Avengers: Age of Ultron. He reprised his role as Tony Stark for the Captain America franchise. He also appeared in the Spider-Man Homecoming and will soon return to the limelight for the forthcoming sequel to the Avengers series.

In 2017, Robert Downey Jr. continues to make headlines. According to reports, he’ll take on the lead role in the upcoming movie The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, which is based on the classic children’s book series by British author Hugh Lofting.

The X-Men comics character Gambit has been a longtime fan-favorite since his debut in 1990. The smooth-talking Cajun has since been seen in a number of recreations from the animated series to the critically-panned 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In the latter film, actor Channing Tatum had expressed interest in the role of Gambit but was passed over for Taylor Kitsch.

Gambit’s appearance in the film sparked in fans the hope of seeing more of the beloved character on the silver screen. Now, after a long period of waiting, those fans finally have some hope to grasp onto. According to the Hollywood Reporter, a Channing Tatum-starring Gambit film cwill be released on Valentine’s Day 2019.

This film has been in development hell for a few years now, so the announcement of a release date comes as a welcome breath of fresh air for fans.

The Development of Gambit

After the critical flop of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, fans were less hopeful to see a Gambit release. Fans and critics agreed that the writing of that film had been subpar at best, and fans everywhere recoiled at the way the character of Deadpool was mangled. Thankfully, Ryan Reynolds later proved that that could be remedied.

In 2013, Channing Tatum expressed his desire to take the role over from Kitsch. Being that he is originally from the New Orleans area and a big fan of the character himself, he felt he could fit the role well.

Then, in 2014, it was announced that a Gambit project was in the works with Channing Tatum attached. The film had a star and a producer but needed studio backing, writers, and a director as well. Fox backed the film and Josh Zetumer was hired on to write it.

In 2015 director Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planets of the Apes) signed on to direct the film. Within months, he dropped the project due to scheduling concerns and differences of opinion over the script. The film struggled for months to find a new director, courting Doug Liman for a number of months, performing rewrites to the script and working around filming schedules, though ultimately Liman decided to pursue different projects.

It wasn’t until just this month that film found a new director in Gore Verbinski, director of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The script has also apparently been overhauled and filming is apparently set to begin in early 2018.

Earlier this year, Complex debuted Everyday Struggle, a First Take-like internet show that pits two yelling idiots against each other to see who can produce the most viral quote. So far, it’s working.  Working so well, in fact, that Complex seems to be doubling down by launching a new sports talk show, Out Of Bounds, with Gilbert Arenas and, that’s right, Mia Khalifa.

Let me state that I’ve disliked Mia Khalifa (as a sports personality) long before her deal with Complex. Her transition from controversial porn star to the self-proclaimed “DC Sports Girl” has been nothing short of hilariously cringe-worthy, given that her voice aches like nails on a chalkboard and her analysis is at about a third-grade reading level.

Woah, Mia, did you really take a break from apartment hunting to watch football at one of said apartments?! You must be a HUGE sports fan.

My point is that despite her spunk and enthusiasm, Mia Khalifa’s sports knowledge is shit, and even if it isn’t, we wouldn’t know because her delivery is even worse.

Give credit where credit is due, though, as Out Of Bounds is a creative gamble and Mia was able to turn a hot streak in porn into a sports media career. That said,  this show is going to likely be very, very bad, and the only way it’s going to be able to sustain itself is with viral stunts like this (and yes, stay woke, I think this was all staged, as Out Of Bounds premiere today).

News. Fake news, real news, it all kind of sucks. Actually, it all really sucks: a political uprising here, terrorism act there, a force of mother nature over there — everyday something newer and seemingly shittier seems to happen in this world.

But every once in a while, amidst all that noise and darkness, comes stories (or videos) like these.

As we all know (except maybe the President, who has Tweeted more about the NFL and fake news then he has about the wildfires or hurricanes) areas of California are currently being ravaged by wildfires, with the death toll currently at 40.

One of those families, the Weavers, narrowly escaped the devastation, however, they lost their dog Izzy in the process, as she “bolted in another direction” as the couple fled the property.

When the returned Weavers returned to their property, they found most of their belongings had been destroyed, but to their surprise, Izzy had survived.

Needless to say, this is probably the best video you’ll watch today.

Just a heartwarming story to share in the middle of all this devastation. My parents woke up with flames surrounding their house in wikiup bridgeway and had seconds to get out. In the chaos of trying to escape, my parent’s dog Izzy ran from them. My mom couldn’t chase after her without risking her own life.

They had to drive through walls of flames and across a burning wooden bridge to get to mark west springs road and to safety. They lost everything, but my mom was most devastated about leaving Izzy. My brother and husband were determined to try to get back to my parents property to see if by some miracle Izzy survived. They were turned away by police officers, but if you know my brother Jack or husband Patrick…neither one likes to be told no. They ended up hiking just under 3 miles to my parent’s property.

This video shows the last part of their hike up to my parent’s house. It’s a little long, but the ending is worth the watch.

Ahmad Khan Rahimi was accused of planting a pressure cooker bomb on West 23rd Street in New York City, last September, injuring 30 people. Rahimi is said to have planted another bomb on West 27th Street, which never detonated. He had been jailed since last year as a result of the bombing in Chelsea. On Monday, he was found guilty for both crimes. He now faces a mandatory life sentence.

After two days of deliberation, the jury reached their verdict. Acting Manhattan U.S. Attorney Joon Kim defended the court’s decision on Monday at a news conference outside the courtroom.

“Today’s verdict is a victory for New York City and a victory for America in its fight against terror, and a victory for all who believe in the cause of justice,” said Kim.

Mayor Bill de Blasio hailed the outcome of the case as a product of justice.

“The Chelsea bombing was an attempt to bring our city to its knees,” Mayor de Blasio said in a statement. “Instead, our NYPD, FBI and federal prosecutors have brought Ahmad Rahimi to justice.”

NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill believes the court’s decision to be “the most forceful deterrent” against terrorism.

“Today’s verdict is the most forceful deterrent for anyone considering waging terror in our City,” O’Neill said in a statement. “We will investigate; we will find those responsible; and justice will prevail.”

Most jurors declined to comment.

“It’s always difficult to work on this kind of case,” said foreman Eric Obenzinger. “It’s never easy for anybody to be part of.”

The jurors heard more than a dozen’s witnesses emotional testimonies. They also saw dozens of security camera footage, which showed Rahimi pulling two suitcases, around Manhattan, and wearing a backpack with six pipe bombs which he never used.

Who is Ahmad Khan Rahimi?

Rahimi is a 29-year-old Afghan-American from Elizabeth, New Jersey. He worked at a family fast-food business. He was accused of planting a pressure cooker bomb on West 23rd Street in Manhattan, which injured a total of 30 people. This New Jersey is also accused of planting a bomb on West 27th Street, but it never detonated. Fingerprint and DNA linked him to the bombs. There is also evidence that he purchased some of the components used in the bombing, such as ball bearings used as shrapnel.

The 29-year-old also faced charges for planting bombs in New Jersey and a shootout at the time of his capture. He has been jailed since last year, and is now facing a mandatory life sentence.

The man had bomb-making instructions on his laptop from al Qaida’s “Inspire” magazine. He also had jihadist statements in a notebook. Prosecutors believe that jihadist-sentiment fueled the bombing in Chelsea.

The convicted terror suspect’s lawyer said that he would appeal the case.

Gilberto Escamilla, an employee with the Juvenile Justice Department, has been charged with a first-degree theft after he was discovered to have stolen over $1 million worth of fajitas. Escamilla, who is the subject of an ongoing investigation, is accused of stealing the fajitas over the course of nine years.

According to prosecutors, on August 7, Escamilla took a day off for a medical appointment. While Escamilla was away, a driver from the Juvenile Justice Department’s meat vendor called to confirm an order of 800 pounds of fajitas.

When the JJD employee told the meat vendor, Labatt Food Service, that the order was a mistake because the facility does not serve fajitas, the Labatt Food Service employee said that his company has been filling the fajita order to the facility for close to 10 years.

The investigation indicates that Escamilla would sell the fajitas to customers he had previously lined up on the day Labatt would deliver them.

On Aug. 7, Gilberto Escamilla took a day off to go to a medical appointment. A driver from Labatt Food Service in Harlingen — the Juvenile Justice Department’s meat vendor — called the kitchen to inform it of an 800-pound delivery of fajitas. The woman who answered the phone said the driver was mistaken, and that the kitchen did not serve fajitas. That was when the driver told her he had been delivering fajitas to the Juvenile Justice Department for the past nine years, Saenz said.

“The receiver of the call rushes off to the supervisor and conveys to her the discussion that had been had, and that breaks the case,” Saenz said. “When Mr. Escamilla reports to work the next day, he is confronted with the discussion and he admits he had been stealing fajitas for nine years.”
He was fired Aug. 8 and arrested Aug. 9 after the DA’s Office Special Investigations Unit obtained a search warrant. When officers searched Escaramilla’s house, they found packets of fajitas in his refrigerator.

At the time, the value of the order had been between $2,500 and $30,000, a state jail felony. Escamilla was booked into jail and made bond. But the DA’s Office kept digging. After gathering documents from Labatt Food Service and the County Auditor’s Office, which included invoices, vouchers and purchase orders, the investigations unit concluded that Escaramilla had stolen $1,251,578 worth of fajitas.

“He would literally, on the day he ordered them, deliver them to customers he had already lined up,” Saenz said. “We’ve been able to uncover two of his purchasers, and they are cooperating with the investigation.”

Chief Juvenile Probation Officer Rose Gomez of the Cameron County Juvenile Justice Department released a statement saying that Escamilla’s alleged actions have led to a review of department policy:

“The Juvenile Justice Department is working closely with the Auditor’s Office to institute procedures, controls and safeguards to avoid a recurrence of this type of situation. The Department expects that wrongdoers will be punished and assures that procedures and protocols have been established,” Gomez said. “The Department will continue to strive to provide necessary and appropriate care, custody and protection of those juveniles in its custody as well as protection of public moneys.”

Escamilla was immediately fired from his position and placed under arrest, being charged with first-degree felony theft.

After looking through through Labatt’s inventory records and conducting an audit, investigators found that Escamilla had stolen $1,251,578 worth of food.

Upsets are to college football what beer is to pizza. Sure, you could have one without the other, but then you would be indulging in a relatively bland experience that is made significantly more enjoyable by the complimentary addition of something a little extra. While watching a competitive game regardless of the outcome is usually an exciting experience, the end result of an unbelievable victory by a double-digit underdog makes this already tremendously engaging viewing experience that much more satisfying. If this week’s matchups are anything like what we witnessed in week 7, fans will once again get to overindulge their college football addiction as both ranked teams and unranked competitors step up to prove themselves as the season wears on.

1. Memphis Tigers (25) vs. Houston Cougars

There is no way to get around it, the offense of the Tigers is spectacular. They have scored below 30 points only once this season, and the connection between quarterback Riley Fergurson and stud wideout Anthony Miller has been one of the best offensive tandems in college football. However, while the Tigers offense has been great, there was one instance where it was almost completely shut down against a formidable UCF defense. Although the Cougars defense may not be as elite as that of the UCF Knights, it’s still potent enough to hold teams to 21 points per game (tied 39th in college football) while having an offense that’s not great but receives decent production from quarterback Kyle Postma and running back Duke Catalon. While this will be a unique challenge for the Tigers, their persistent offense will give them a slight edge against a Cougar team that has struggled on both sides of the ball recently.

Final Score: Tigers 31 Cougars 29 Spread: Houston -3.0

2. Iowa State Cyclones vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders

Out of all of the unranked matchups this week, this one could prove to be one of the more intriguing contest. Both teams have strong passing games and have been difficult to stop once they establish a confident rhythm offensively. However, the similarities end there, as Iowa State is much sound defensively, while the Red Raiders have a much more impressive running game that is led by senior rusher Justin Stockton (6.7 yards per rush). While Red Raiders quarterback Nic Shimonek has been far more prolific than Cyclones passer Jacob Park, Texas Tech has lost two games to respected Big 12 opponents because their defense has been one of the more penetrable units in college football. For this reason, I’m giving the edge to the Cyclones as they have proven that their defense and offense are sufficient enough to dispatch one-dimensional opponents.

Final Score: Cyclones 34 Red Raiders 30 Spread: Texas Tech -6.0

3. Oklahoma State Cowboys (10) vs. Texas Longhorns

If you’re a Longhorns fan, it’s been a season of fluctuating emotions from one week to the next. This has been especially true for the Longhorns against ranked opponents where they have lost by a combined total of eight points. While the Longhorns defense is not elite, it has played well enough to keep them in games to give freshman quarterback Sam Ehlinger opportunities to make plays down the stretch. Oklahoma State, on the other hand, has been one of the most consistent teams in college football offensively, as Heisman candidate Mason Rudolph and veteran wideout James Washington have made opposing defenses look silly. However, for how good the Cowboys have looked on offense, they have looked equally poor on defense as they have been susceptible to breakdowns against solid offenses. While the wins and losses for the Longhorns have not been pretty this season, this is a team that is hungry for a big win and considering they play at home this week, I have them pulling off the upset with some timely scores down the stretch.

Final Score: Cowboys 37 Longhorns 40 Spread: Texas -1.0

4. Indiana Hoosiers vs. Michigan State Spartans (18)

When you think of great defenses, the likes of Michigan, Clemson and of course Alabama immediately come to mind. However, the Spartans have been one of the most formidable and gritty teams defensively this year, as they have allowed only one team (Notre Dame) to score more than 30 points against them. While their inept passing game leaves a lot to be desired, dual-threat quarterback Brian Lewerke has been shifty enough to maneuver out of the pocket to extend plays while relying on the physicality of running back of LJ Scott to keep the offense churning. Although the Hoosiers gave everything they had against a tough Wolverines defense last week, it’s hard to imagine a team that is not particularly strong on defense or offense pulling off a similar feat in back-t0-back weeks. While I love the tenacity of the Hoosiers in outperforming their mediocre numbers from time to time, I just don’t see it happening here, especially on the road in a hostile environment.

Final Score: Hoosiers 19 Spartans 29 Spread: Michigan State -7.0

5. UCF Knights (20) vs. Navy Midshipmen

Throughout this season, the Knights have quietly been one of the best teams in college football on both offense and defense. Impressively, the Knights are tied for first with Oklahoma State in points per game (48.8) while having a defense that is better than the likes of Michigan State in terms of points allowed per game (16.8, 14th in college football). While some of these numbers are due in part to playing in a mid-major conference, the Knights do have impressive wins against strong offenses in Maryland and, most notably, Memphis (w0n both games by 28 and 27 points respectively). Although the Midshipmen boast the top rushing attack in college football, it was slightly exposed against a dreadful Memphis defense that was able to hold Navy to just 27 points. Given the fact that the Knights are far and away better on defense than the Tigers, it seems inevitable that the persistent albeit predictable offense of the Midshipmen will be stifled throughout most of this game.

Final Score: Knights 39 Midshipmen 23 Spread: UCF -6.5

6. Oklahoma Sooners (9) vs. Kansas State Wildcats

After winning a nail-biter against Texas last week, the Sooners come into this particular matchup hoping that their defense can look like what it was when it defeated Ohio State in dominant fashion earlier in the season. Against a Kansas State team that is solid defensively but wildly inconsistent offensively, the Sooners may get a chance to assert themselves in more ways than one. While this can hardly be considered prove it game for the Sooners, it should at least give them a morale boost heading into their next three games where they face Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and TCU. This is not to say that the Wildcats are a pushover, in fact, they are arguably one of the most well-coached teams in college football. However, the ailing offense has prevented the Wildcats from being competitive against powerhouse programs and will likely inhibit their ability to intimidate the Sooners in this contest.

Final Score: Sooners 34 Wildcats 17 Spread: Oklahoma -12.5

7. USC Trojans (11) vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (13)

Although both the Trojans and Fighting Irish are close in terms of rankings, the current trajectory for each of these competitive programs is very different. While the Trojans overcame a tough Utah defense on Saturday night, Sam Darnold struggled yet again in locating his receivers. Conversely, Notre Dame has looked fantastic on both sides of the football ever since they lost a heartbreaker to Georgia in week 2. Despite struggling to throw the football effectively, Fighting Irish quarterback Brandon Wimbush has used his impressive athleticism to gash opposing defenses on the ground. On top of that, running back Josh Adams has been an explosive weapon for the Fighting Irish as he has averaged nine yards per rush attempt. While the Trojans won’t get completely pushed over in this contest, their turnover-prone offense combined with an inferior defense will cost them a must-win game down the stretch.

Final Score: Trojans 23 Fighting Irish 33 Spread: Notre Dame -4.0

8. Michigan Wolverines (19) vs. Penn State Nittany Lions (2)

For everything that the Wolverines do well defensively, they almost completely nullify it with the ineptitude of their offense. While their conundrum at the quarterback position is unsurprising, it is their less than impressive rushing game led by Ty Isaac that has made scoring especially difficult for this program. Coming off a bye week, the Nittany Lions have the top-ranked defense in terms of points against (nine points allowed per game) and are surgical when it comes to moving the ball downfield. Whether they run or pass the football, the Nittany Lions are not heavily reliant on one aspect of their offense, which was made especially evident when running back Saquon Barkley struggled to rush the football against Northwestern (Nittany Lions still won by a score of 31-7). While ranked matchups are usually fairly competitive affairs, this one has the makings of a blowout at the hands of the dynamic and well-rested Nittany Lions.

Final Score: Wolverines 10 Nittany Lions 31 Spread: Penn State -10.0

9. Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Overshadowed by the two aforementioned contests, this ACC clash between two dominant defensive programs will be one of the more competitive matchups this weekend. With both teams coming off of losses to ranked opponents, the ramped up tension between these programs will be palpable and could result in a highly competitive albeit fairly ugly affair. While Wake Forest has the noticeably better defense, Georgia Tech has a triple-option offense that loves to play fast and wear down even the most disciplined defenses in college football. Although Wake Forest will have the edge in the first half because of their well-rested and stout defense, the persistent rushing attack of the Yellow Jackets will find a way to break through the Deamon Deacons defensive front enough times to win a close game.

10. Colorado Buffaloes vs. Washington State Cougars (15)

The nightcap for week eight features two vastly different teams that will meet in the battle of flash vs. consistent. If you have watched any game that involves the Cougars, it becomes immediately apparent that this team likes to pass the football….a lot. This is made even more evident when you discover that they are at the bottom of the rankings in rushing yards (74.1 rushing yards per game), something that didn’t seem to matter until the Cougars were manhandled on Friday night by the California Golden Bears. The Buffaloes couldn’t be more different in that their not overly reliant on any one aspect to succeed while simultaneously failing to excel on either defense or offense. While the Buffaloes have a solid passer in quarterback Steven Montez, the offense runs primarily through running back Phillip Lindsay, who is proficient as both a rusher and receiver. Although the Buffaloes could pose a problem for the Cougars initially in terms of lacking a severe weakness, Washington State has the advantage in having a highly efficient albeit very predictable passing attack.

Our four-legged friends give us a lot of love and friendship, so it’s only fair that we include them in all our Halloween fun. According to ABC News, at least 16% of people are dressing up their pets for All Hallows Eve this year. Even if you don’t have a costume in which you can use them as an accessory (i.e. all those Dorothy’s and their Toto’s out there), pet stores throughout the country have costume contests throughout October. You don’t even need a reason…just dress up them up for the fun of it! The National Retail Federation has listed the top 10 costumes for pets this year.

Week 6 of the 2017 NFL season wraps up with an AFC South battle between the Indianapolis Colts and the Tenessee Titans.

The Titans came into the season with playoff aspirations, although early season inconsistency and an injury to Marcus Mariota has Tennessee sitting at a meager 2-3.

Dropping by surprise this morning, the first official trailer for the upcoming Black Panther movie dropped and fans everywhere are freaking out! Releasing in February 2018, Black Panther sets to take moviegoers on a journey for the first time to the home country of the Black Panther, Wakanda.

The movie’s official synopsis reads:

“Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) springs into action when an old enemy threatens the fate of his nation and the world.”

Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther will follow the newly crowned king of Wakanda as a former foe returns to threaten his home of Wakanda and the world at large. For the first time ever, audiences will get to see the hidden world of Wakanda. Previously mentioned in other Marvel films, the reclusive African country is home to some of the world’s greatest technological creations and one of the world’s most powerful heroes, the Black Panther.

Like previous Marvel films, this film is using cutting edge visual effects to help bring this technologically advanced world to life. Blending traditional African styles and a cyberpunk visual aesthetic, Black Panther already looks to be Marvel’s most visually stunning movie yet!

Already, the movie has started a frenzy online with fans freaking out over the trailer’s release:

The Black Panther movie is directed by Ryan Coogler and is written by Coogler and Joe Robert Cole. It will be the eighteenth movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following the release of Thor: Ragnarok.

The movie will be released by Marvel Studios while Disney handles distributing. Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forrest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.

With all the Halloween parties out there, it can be tempting to forget the other celebrations in October, like the Oktoberfest, a folk festival lasting over two weeks originating in Munich, even if it technically does start in September. Over the years, similar “Oktoberfest” events have popped up over the years throughout the United States. Sure, most of them are just an excuse to drink lots of beer, but it is also an excuse to drink lots of beer. Yeah, now that I say it out loud, I don’t see the problem. After the 2017 event folded earlier this month, we have the 10 most popular Oktoberfest beers (also known as a ‘Festbier’) in the United States, courtesy of The Street. And if a beer isn’t your style, remember, you can always just enjoy a nice salted pretzel.

After losing both of the first two games by a score of 2-1, the Bronx Bombers are in desperate need of a victory, as only one team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the history of baseball (2004 Red Sox).

On the hill for the Yankees is CC Sabathia, who delivered a vintage performance in Game 5 of the ALDS. Sabathia’s slider helped him outpitch Corey Kluber twice in the ALDS. The left-hander has now gone 9-5 in 20 postseason starts, including 7-2 as a Yankee, with a career 4.46 ERA in October.

Pitching for the Astros will be Charlie Morton. Morton held the Red Sox to two runs on seven hits over 4 1/3 innings in the ALDS while striking out six and walking two. His 3.62 ERA during the regular season was his lowest since 2013.

Opening Segment w/ Kurt Angle…and The Shield

WWE Raw GM Kurt Angles comes out to the ring to start off tonight’s program. Angle begins to speak, and is interrupted…by The Shield as the their music hits and they come out through the crowd. Reigns tells Angle that this is The Shield’s ring and threatened to beat his ass. Rollins cooled down The Big Dog, and asks Angle to peacefully surrender the ring to The Shield.

Each member of the group talk smack about their opponents at TLC. But Dean Ambrose loses his top and wants to fight now. He demands that those “bad hombres” come out right now to battle.

Braun Strowman’s music hits. Miz, Strowman, Cesaro, and Sheamus come out. Kurt Angle cools down the situation, not wanting to give away the main event for TLC tonight.

Elias Samson, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. Jason Jordan, Titus O’Neil & Apollo Crews

Samson starts off the segment beneath a spotlight alongside his “good brothers” Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson. The group plays a tune. Gallows can’t stop saying “nerd.” Out comes their opponents.

Luke Gallows brings the pain to Titus O’Neil to start off the match. Gallows beats O’Neil into a corner, while shouting “nerd” at him. O’Neil battles back, and soon, the ring is enveloped in absolute chaos. Jason Jordan flies in the ring like an acrobat. The baby-faces clear the ring and stand tall as we go to the commercial break.

The bad guys are back on top once again. Samson is battling Apollo Crews, who comes back with a boot to the face. Jason Jordan is dying for a tag. Karl Anderson tries to prevent Crews from tagging Jordan to no avail.

Jason Jordan comes in the match like a bolt of lightning, putting the punishment on Karl Anderson. The ring is once again enveloped in chaos, as every man enters the ring to break up the pin. The good guys push clean house once again. Apollo Crews ends the match, putting away Anderson with a sitout powerbomb.

Mike “The Miz” Mizanin first taste of the limelight came in the form of the 2001 season of MTV’s The Real World. The Miz main-evented WrestleMania 27, alongside John Cena, defeating the multi-time champion at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. He lost the strap to Cena one month later in a steel cage triple threat match, also including his former friend John Morrison.
