Google October 4 Event

Google is planning a new hardware showcase event, and we have the details on when and where to watch! While we’ll have to wait until the event itself to know what will be showcased, the upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones are expected to be the belles of the ball, among others, according to Fox News.

Google’s Hardware Event Viewing Details:

Date: October 4, 2017
Start Time: 12 p.m. ET
Location: California
Website: YouTube

What are the new products featured in the showcase?

Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL

As mentioned, Google is finally expected to unveil information about Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, and they are expected to be the main focus of the event. The new phones are expected to be advancements on the earlier Pixel phone, which became particularly known for its high camera service. New features expected from the new phones include faster performance, waterproof bodies, and possibly squeezable frames that can let use use Google Assistant with a simple “squeeze.”

Price: The Pixel 2 to start at $649 and the Pixel 2 XL is expected at $849.

Pixelbook

A new, ultra-premium take on the Chromebook, the Pixelbook is expected to come with a 2-in-1 convertible design, complete with a touchscreen and a new Pixelbook pen, that is going to help produce accurate drawings.

Price: A similar Google notebook goes for $1,749, so the new Pixelbook is expected to be, well, similar.

Google Home Max and Mini

Google Homes is expected to debut two event applications for the event: Max and Mini. The Mini is expected to be similar to the Amazon’s Echo Dot, while the Max is expected to offer higher-quality sound, among other premium materials, although there is some question whether it will be a speaker or a hybrid touchscreen device.

Price: The Mini is expected to go for $49, but the Max is expected to be more expensive, with rival Amazon products going from $200 to over $300.

Daydream and ARCore

Google’s new plans might also help reach further breakthroughs into virtual reality. The Google Daydream VR headset is already reaching its one-year anniversary, and new models are expected to come out. Any new technical upgrades are unclear, but we can at least expect new colors! Similarly, inspired by Apple’s ARKit, Google is expected to release demos of ARCore, a product previously unveiled in August.

Price: The new Daydream models are expected to go for $99.

Angela “Angie” Gomez: Full Story & Must-See Details On Shooting Victim

Angela “Angie” Gomez is just one of 59 victims that was killed during Sunday’s night shooting slaughter in Las Vegas, Nevada. Angie is a former high school cheerleader and was attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival when she was shot down and killed like so many other people attending that country music concert near the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Gomez was killed in the largest mass shooting in United States history, with 59 deaths and 527 people hospitalized with injuries resulting from gunfire.

A GoFundMe page for Gomez set a goal of $10k, but has already reached over $55,000 in donations. The money is said to cover funeral and family costs and other needs.

Angie Is Still Loved

Angie’s friends and family remember her for “warm heart and loving spirit.”

“It is with deepest sadness and absolute shock that we mourn the loss of Poly Cheer Alumni, Angela Gomez,” the page says. “Angie was a member of the Class of 2015. She was a cheerful young lady with a warm heart and loving spirit. Angie’s life was cut short when she succombed (sic) to injuires sustained in the Las Vegas Route 91 shooting. This senseless act of violence has rocked our Poly Cheer and Song family.”

Her GoFundMe page asks people to keep Angie’s family in their hearts, “and celebrate the life of a young woman who has gone home too soon. We love you, Angie.”

Veronika Maldonado, 20, said that Angie is one of her best friends. “Angie was a natural born caregiver. She loved her two nieces more than anything and always treated my little sisters like her own. She was studying to be a nurse and she would have been so amazing at it. I wish her time here wasn’t cut so short.”

Another friend, Melissa Cervantes, 20, said, “We were always a team regardless of everything going on in each others lives, we never stopped talking, every time we met again it was just like we saw eachother yesterday, caught up with each others lives cried, laughed, hugged, reminisced on the stupid stuff from high school. We were always a team.”

David Albarran, 19, says of Angie: “She was never afraid to be herself. She never tried being someone she wasn’t. She stayed true to herself and to what she believed in.”

Medal Of Honor Recipient Rips Dan Bilzerian For His Actions During Las Vegas Shooting

Instagram

If you haven’t already heard by now, Dan Bilzerian is a douchebag.

And that’s not to say that I wouldn’t trade lives with him — because I would — but it’s just the fact of the matter, a fact that Bilzerian himself would probably admit: dude is a douche.

Now, while Bilzerian’s usual level of douchiness — workout videos, Instagrams with naked women, etc — are usually enviable in some fashion (who reading this wouldn’t want a life like his?), his latest Instagram misstep is about as scummy as Bilzerian has ever gone.

Apparently attending the Route 91 Country Music Festival, Bilzerian posted to his Instagram story as shots rang down from the Mandalay Bay hotel, detailing how a “girl just got shot in the f*cking head” as he ran away from the chaos.

As it turns out, actual heroes such as Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer were having none of Bilzerian’s shenanigans.

Meyer, a Marine who received a Medal of Honor for his bravery in combat, ripped into Bilzerian on his own Instagram post, accusing Bilzerian of playing “operator dress up” and filming a “disgusting” video:

This is why children shouldn’t classify heroes by their followers or their photos. @danbilzerian this is what kills me about people like you. Always playing “operator dress up” and so so tough when the cameras are on. A woman just got shot in the head and you are running away filming that’s not what operators do. Please stop trying to be someone your not. People are dying, you’re running away not helping them and pretending it’s worthy of a video is disgusting.

Instagram Photo

And if anyone is qualified to comment on someone’s bravery (or lack thereof), it’s Meyer.

via Daily Mail:

Rather than stay at a relatively safe distance from an intense fire-fight in which fellow Marines, US Army soldiers, and Afghan soldiers had been caught in an ambush – which he had been ordered to do – Meyer went time and again into the killing zone. During the six-hour battle, he evacuated 12 of those pinned down, provided cover for another 24 to withdraw to safety, and killed at least eight Taliban fighters in the process.

Instagram Photo

While no one would ever blame a human being for running for their life, someone like Bilzerian, a gun-toting man “wanted” to be a Navy SEAL,  should be one of those people you hear about in the news displaying tremendous bravery (i.e. Taylor Winston or Sonny Melton), not running away from the danger.

GoFundMe For Las Vegas: Donation Pages & How You Can Help!

$

The tragedy of the Las Vegas shooting has inspired people in various walks of life to get involved and raise money for those who had been injured in the attack, which has been said to have reached over 500. On GoFundMe alone, we have seen people from various walks of life: people in the army, people in the entertainment industry, and even people personally affected by the tragedy directly, both providing for those who have been injured and the families who have lost loved ones. You can take a look right here to see various campaigns that you can help with, right here.

Medical bills are important for many of the survivors, but that is just one aspect of what is needed right now for victims.

Here is how you can help:

In one of the campaigns, Yusely Herrera, a friend of a woman named Savannah who had been shot in the attack, is trying to raise money for her friend’s medical bills.

Individuals were not the only people hurt in the attack, but families as well. One man, Jesse Rivera, is raising money to help a couple, Michael Gracia and his girlfriend Summer, who have a child together, were both shot during the attack. Summer nobly had been shot while covering Michael after he had been hurt. As they are new parents, the campaign asks that for support for their medical bills, also asking for those who cannot afford to send money to at least offer their prayers.

Casey Neistat, on behalf of the Direct Impact Fund, has tried to use the World Wide Web to raise funds in two ways. With the #LoveArmyLasVegas hashtag, he is using both the GoFundMe page and a YouTube video, which will give the revenue entirely to those in need.

A woman named Pam Ostiguy Clark is also raising money for a family friend, Tina Frost, who had also been injured in the attack. Making clear that this can go beyond medical expenses, this campaign highlights that money is also needed to pay for traveling, food, hotels, missed work, and even care for Tina.

Even the families of those who lost loved ones in the shooting need help. Shear Tranquility is hosting a GoFundMe for the surviving family of Rhonda LaRocque, a woman who had been killed in the attack, including her husband and daughter. The family is in need of money to pay for medical expenses, transfer, travel, and funeral expenses.

Even people not directly involved with the shooting, such as the cast of Mean Girls is trying to get involved with helping those in need. Cast members, led by Brian Tyler Cohen, are working with the National Compassion Fund to raise a $300,000 goal, promising 100% of the money raised going to helping victims.

Always remember that a little, even a prayer, can go a long way!

Chris Roybal Fought In Afghanistan, But Died In The Las Vegas Shooting

Christopher “Chris” Roybal, 28, fought with the U.S. Navy in Afghanistan, but was killed while at a country music concert in Las Vegas, Nevada. Roybal is just one of 59 other victims to have been slaughtered in the worst shooting in United States history. His very last Facebook post addressed how it is like to be constantly asked “What’s it like to be shot at?”

Roybal’s mother, Debby Allen, told the New York Daily News.“I got him home safe from Afghanistan and never thought I would have to worry about losing him again. He used to tell me stories about how scary it was. He was in two gun battles where he thought he wouldn’t make it back home.”

Debby added, “I was so proud to be his mom. He made me feel so happy.”

Roybal’s mother told Gabby Hart of KSNV that she was also at the concert during Sunday’s shooting and that she wanted to go back to save her son. Hart reported, “Says she tried to run toward him but bystander stopped her saying she couldn’t toward the gunfire.”

“I desperately wanted to go back in to find him. Nobody would let me go back in, they were pulling me away. I kept screaming, ‘My son! My son!’ But they said, ‘You can’t go back into the gunfire,’” she told the Daily News. “It was horrible. I couldn’t keep my feet underneath me. I kept collapsing. I just wanted to go back in so badly. But people were jumping over everything to get out.”

They were both in Las Vegas to celebrate Chris’ upcoming 29th birthday party.

“He was the most funny, amazing guy ever. He loved karaoke and all types of music. He had a knack for singing Spanish love songs,” said Allen. “He loved to watch chick flicks with me.”

Who is Chris Roybal?

Chris Roybal served and fought in Afghanistan with the United States Navy. He died on Sunday by being shot in the chest.

Roybal’s friend Matthew Austin wrote on Facebook that the two joined the military while they were “just boys,” and what happened to his friend “breaks (his) heart.”

“It breaks my heart and infuriates me that a veteran can come home from war unharmed and events like these occur,” Austin wrote. “Shipmate you were taken much to soon, and my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Rest easy friend. You have been relieved and we have the watch.”

On July 18, Roybal wrote on Facebook about what it is like to constantly be asked ““What’s it like to be shot at?””:

Finishing up what was supposed to be a quick 4-hour foot patrol, I remember placing my hand on the Stryker and telling Bella how well she did. Hearing the most distinct sounds of a whip cracking and pinging of metal off of the vehicle I just had my hand resting on is something that most see in movies.
I remember that first day, not sure how to feel. It was never fear, to be honest, mass confusion. Sensory overload…followed by the most amount of natural adrenaline that could never be duplicated through a needle. I was excited, angry and manic. Ready to take on what became normal everyday life in the months to follow. Taking on the fight head on, grabbing the figurative “Bull by the horns”.

According to his Facebook page, Roybal served in Sperwan, Kandahar in Afghanistan.

LeeAnn Klein of Riverside, California, sent up a GoFundMe page to help Roybal’s family in this tragic time. In the very first 35 minutes, the page raked in $1,670. The goal was set at 15k, but the page has already received well over $24k.

“He had the biggest heart and was loved by all his family & friends. We are raising money to help his family with funeral costs,” Klein wrote. “My name is LeeAnn and I am a friend of Chris’s. I see the impact he had on all of us around him and he will be greatly missed.”

In an interview with Heavy.com, Taylor Janda, one of Roybal’s friends, said that “Chris was the kindest most selfless human being I’ve ever met. He could instantly light up a room. All he wanted was to make his friends, and even random strangers, happy. He is truly one of a kind, and will be missed.”

LVMPD

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has released the bodycam footage of the first responders to the deadly Las Vegas shooting on Sunday night.

In the footage, LVMPD officers can be seen taking cover behind a wall as gunshots rang down from the Mandalay Bay hotel.

“Go that way, get out of here! There’s gunshots coming from over there,” one officer can be heard yelling at nearby civilians. At one point, they were next to a patrol vehicle on Las Vegas Boulevard, where one officer was shot, Undersheriff Kevin McMahill said.

Later in the video, an officer runs into the line of fire to drag an apparently drunken man to safety. A police officer can also be seen covering a crouching woman as shots ring out, hoping his bullerproof vest will protect her from the rounds.

Paddock’s attack, the deadliest in United States history, left 59 dead and over 500 inured.

Over three dozen of the 58 people killed have been publicly identified, including Charleston Hartfield of Nevada; Stacee Etcheber of California; Christopher Roybal of Colorado; Hannah Ahlers of California; and Jordan McIldoon of British Columbia, Canada.

“Bible Study” Drinking Game Potentially Lead To LSU Pledge’s Death

Facebook

In early September, Maxwell Raymond Gruver, an 18-year-old freshman student at LSU, died in a possible fraternity hazing incident. Now, police reports are indicating that a “Bible Study” drinking game may have led to Gruver’s untimely death.

Gruver, an 18-year-old LSU freshman from Roswell, Georgia, died on Thursday, September 14, after he was taken to a Baton Rouge hospital to be treated for an unspecified “medical emergency.” Gruver was also “highly intoxicated” the night before he died.

According to the New York Daily News, several other young men looking to pledge to the Phi Delta Theta chapter at the university told investigators that they were called to “Bible Study” at 10 PM on September 13.

The drinking game allegedly involved answering trivia questions about the chapter, with wrong answers leading to punishment in the form of drinking.

via The Advocate:

Gruver and other Phi Delta Theta pledges received a group text message Sept. 13 that “Bible Study” would take place that night at 10 p.m. at the chapter house, an exercise where pledges were asked questions about the fraternity and forced to drink if they answered incorrectly, according to LSU police, who are conducting the investigation. LSU police said that several other interviews of witnesses “indicated that the pledges were forced to drink in excess.”

A witness to the drinking game at the fraternity house told police that a group of members and pledges were drinking in several upstairs bedrooms the night of Sept. 13. Most people were drinking hard liquor, police said, including Gruver. At some point early Sept. 14, the witness said, Gruver became “highly intoxicated.” The witness, who is not identified, and several other fraternity members put Gruver on a couch for the night, police said.

The witness said that around 11 a.m. Sept. 14 he returned to the fraternity house where he and others found Gruver still on the couch with a weak pulse, and they “could not tell if he was breathing,” police said. At that time two people took him in a private vehicle to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

After a search of the Phi Delta Theta house, police reportedly seized multiple bottles of hard liquor, a glass smoking pipe, pain relievers, security cameras, a GoPro camera, beer cans, a pledge test and various biological samples.

How The Tide PODS Pit Crew Became The Most Powerful In NASCAR

There are a couple of “behind every great” sayings in this world, that although cliche and overplayed, have always been and will always be true.

First and foremost, “behind every great man is a great woman.” It’s a tale as old as time, as us men would truly be nothing without the women who love us.

The second, while less known,  is every bit as iconic — “behind every great fortune lies a great crime” — a quote from Mario Puzo’s classic 1969 novel The Godfather (yes, same as the movie).

The third, while not as recognizable as the first two, remains just as true: behind every winning NASCAR driver is an excellent pit crew. Take my word for it, as I’ve been to Daytona and have seen these crews in action with my own two eyes: if the driver is the brain of a NASCAR team, then the crew is the central nervous system — one could not exist, function, and thrive without the other.

And luckily for Matt Kenseth and his #20 car, Tide PODS provides him with the most powerful pit crew in the game.

A pit stop can be extremely powerful for several reasons. One small mistake on pit road can cost you several positions, or even a chance at the win. Over the past several years, teams have invested time, money and assets into the training of pit crews to gain even the smallest amount of time. If your pit stop is even a tenth of a second faster than the next team, it can mean several positions and a huge advantage.

Teams have trained to get their stops, including four fresh tires, an average of 16 gallons of fuel and adjustments complete in less than 12 seconds. That’s a ton of power and pressure to put on six guys, and those 12 seconds can have a major impact on the rest of their day. Physical training plays a large majority role in how these athletes prepare to compete each week. Joe Gibbs Racing has a dedicated staff of trainers to help them improve their overall strength, as well as their specific skill set for the pit stops, to keep these athletes performing at the top of their game.

Along with physical health and training, mental health is also key to performing at the top of their game. The pit crew members need to be prepared emotionally to handle the pressure of performing quickly and efficiently, as their driver depends on it to compete and capture the best possible finish each weekend. Keeping their minds sharp, focused and stress-free allows the pit crew athletes to be strong, powerful and precise on race day.

At the forefront of the #20 Tide PODS pit crew is Jena Gatses, a trainer for Joe Gibbs Racing.

We got a chance to sit down to Jena and discuss her approach to training the #20 crew:

COED: Can you give us an overview of the types of training regimens, tools and equipment you provide for the pit crew members?

JG: “Our gym is about stocked with everything we need. We try to customize programs to the potion, so the tire changer would have a set of strength training, jack man, fueler, they all have specific programs prescribed for them. And it varies by the time of year in terms of volume and how much they do, so as we get to the end of the year, we’re in the gym a lot less than we are in the beginning of the year when we’re trying to get fit. We have the longest sports season, so it depends on the time of the year with what equipment they’re using and what they’re doing. Nothing really out of the ordinary, just customizing it and making sure the volume of what we do keeps them fresh for when we go to the race track.”

COED: Is there any specific strategy you have for crafting a training or treatment routine for each pit crew member to help them perform at the top of their game?

JG: It’s like fingerprints, we all have unique fingerprints they’re not the same. Athletes are all different and hopefully, we’ve learned over a period of time what and athlete can take or not take, or what works for what athlete, injuries are all different; you’ve got to learn your athlete to customize your training program or any kind of treatment.

You have to try the same thing with two different athletes and they’re going to respond differently so you have to really get to know the physiology of your athletes. We leave out the mental side of this all the time; there are some athletes that are greatly affected by an injury or a training program. If they’re not mentally, then you have to look at another alternative to get them compliant with what you want to do.

COED: Name one or two things that you feel are the most important performance enhancers for pit crew members. (physical training regimen, recovery, nutrition, mental/focus, etc.)

JG: “Recovery- you hear that in training, whether it’s Olympic athletes or any other athlete, how you strategically place recovery during the year, especially in a long season. How much, and there’s so many different recovery components.”

Sleep – it’s really probably the number one thing that’s being talked about in sports right now. Recovery means a lot of things, but the adaptations to training occur during recovery. So if you don’t put recovery in there, and you just keep bombarding athletes with training and exercise and they don’t recover, then you have to look at the athlete holistically and say they have another life. They have lives, they have other things; You have to consider that in a whole picture of what they do as an athlete in a 38-week race schedule, how they do those things.

Recovery, sleep and really thinking about them as a human being and the whole person goes a long way to how you’re going to prescribe what in the gym and their recovery.”

Even in a sport built around machinery, Jena Gatses and the Tide PODS crew proves that in NASCAR, the mind and body need to be just as well-oiled as the cars they’re driving in order for the team to succeed.

Why Tide PODS & Pit Crew Members Are The Perfect Match

The POD and Lug Nut – Pit Crew Shadow

The lug nut is one of the smallest pieces of equipment the Pit Crew handles, but it packs a lot of power, holding the wheel on safely and firmly. Yes, a Tide PODS pac is small, but its concentrated power can clean even the dirtiest loads of laundry. Small really can be powerful…and so can convenience. A simple laundry process (especially for men!) that doesn’t compromise the clean…imagine that!

The Power of Synergy – Pit Crew Shadow

The pit stop is synergy in motion. The tire changer rolls under the gas man who sidesteps the jackman, everyone spinning and revolving like clothes in a washing machine. It’s a fitting analogy, as the unique chemistry matrix in Tide PODS works synergistically in the wash to deliver powerful results every time. Each pit crew member practices their specific role on their own and when it’s time to pit, they come together working as one. The chambers in Tide PODS keeps the liquids separate until it hits the washing machine resulting in a powerful clean.

Week 5, Fantasy Football Start ‘Em 2017: Who To Start This Week

As we proceed into the fifth week of the NFL season, every fantasy owner is cringing with contempt as the first of many BYE weeks commences. No longer can confident owners rely on their star wideouts or steady quarterbacks without first doing their due diligence to see when those respective players have an off week. However, while having to face this inevitable aspect can be daunting at first, there are a plethora of options out there that are worthy replacements for your favorite fantasy assets. Whether you consult the waiver wire, initiate a worthwhile trade or simply bring an intriguing gem off your bench, there is no shortage of ways to keep your fantasy team competitively relevant while your superstars take the week off.

Jacoby Brissett, QB, Indianapolis Colts (vs. San Francisco 49ers)

Despite being the clear the starter for the Colts until Andrew Luck returns, Jacoby Brissett is owned in just 6% of Yahoo fantasy leagues. Sure, Brissett turned the ball over twice against the defensively sound Seahawks, but he still managed to beat his projected point total by a point. While Brissett will never be a gunslinger like Luck, he is certainly one of the more cerebral quarterbacks in the NFL and can effectively use his legs to extend plays (4.9 yards per rush attempt). Against a soft 49ers secondary, Brissett should have a field day passing the football and will be equally effective in the red zone as a smart rusher.

Duke Johnson Jr., RB, Cleveland Browns (vs. New York Jets)

For whatever reason, this has been the year to rely on dynamic pass-catching running backs. From the once unknown Tarik Cohen to the underrated Chris Thompson, shifty backs with great hands have become a serious commodity in fantasy football. In that regard, Duke Johnson Jr. has been an absolute stud as he has blown out his projected point total the last two weeks and has clearly become a heavily utilized security blanket for quarterback DeShone Kizer. Against the Jets, who have given up the fourth most points to running backs, Johnson will see his usual high-volume of receptions while being featured much more prominently in the running game. While this matchup may lack in actual entertainment value, Johnson’s production on the field will be much appreciated by fantasy owners.

Jarvis Landry, WR, Miami Dolphins (vs. Tennessee Titans)

Yes, the Dolphins offense has looked atrocious over the last two weeks. In fact, the woeful Dolphins offense has looked so bad that they were shut out by arguably the worst defense in the NFL in the New Orleans Saints. However, there has been a bright spot for the Dolphins, at least in terms of fantasy point production. Over the last three weeks, Jarvis Landry has received target shares of 15, 11 and 7 respectively. While he has yet to break out in terms of receiving yards, his immense volume of target shares has made him fairly reliable in PPR leagues even when Dolphins as a team fail to produce. Against the Titans, who have given up the most passing touchdowns this season, Landry will have another productive day catching the ball. Even he doesn’t score a touchdown, Landry will accumulate enough receptions to offset the ineptitude of the Dolphins offense when it comes to overall fantasy production.

Jimmy Graham, TE, Seattle Seahawks (vs. Los Angeles Rams)

Instagram Photo

One of the best moments and feelings in fantasy football is starting a player that has looked like a shell of himself only to bounce back and have a monster week. Jimmy Graham is that type of play this week. Limited by an ankle injury early in the season, Graham is finally getting his fair share of targets and is due for his first touchdown of the season against a Rams defense that has been particularly porous over the last two weeks. Graham’s 11 receptions for 113 yards over the last two weeks point to the athletic tight end being completely healthy and he should be a reliable fantasy starter from here on out.

Colorado Police Are Begging People To Stop Calling Them About The “Mad Pooper”

Meanwhile, in Colorado, there is a poop bandit known as the “Mad Pooper” who is terrorizing a community so frequently that police have had to ask people to stop calling them about it.

According to Deadspin, the Colorado Springs Police Department is so inundated with inqueries about the Mad Pooper that they’ve had to ask the public to leave them alone until an update is provided.

“No, no updates. If something comes out, we’ll put it on Twitter and Facebook. In the big scheme of things we’d like to get her identified.”

The Mad Pooper has been at this for some time now, as she has defecated in the same spot on her running route every week for almost two months now. Even more shocking is that the Mad Pooper may be trying to make a point about … free speech?

A man claiming to be the “spokesman” for the Mad Pooper, who won’t identify himself or the jogger, only calling her “Shirley”, said she is sorry for desecrating people’s lawns but claimed her actions are not her fault, as she has a “traumatic brain injury and after gender reassignment surgery” and therefore can no longer control herself.

Furthermore, the “spokesman” claimed that her actions are protected under the First Amendment, comparing it to breastfeeding in public.

via KRDO:

The “spokesman” refuses to answer KRDO’s many questions to verify his identity or find out if he is actually speaking on the jogger’s behalf, but we went to a lawyer to see if his claims would hold up in court. Criminal Defense Attorney Jeremy Loew said they are bogus.

“Defecating in someone’s yard is definitely not protected under the First Amendment and it is actually a crime,” Loew explained.

Loew even said that she could be facing indecent exposure charges, which might land her on the sex offender registry. Loew added that if the video is actually coming from the woman at the center of the controversy, it was a bad move.

“This is actually the worst thing the family could do,” he said. “Maybe they thought the videos would make the situation go away, but they won’t. People all over the world are talking about this, and police will catch her. The man in the video will also have to be called into court to testify.”

Colorado Springs police are asking the public to take photos of the woman to help identify her, who they say could be facing charges of indecent exposure and public defecation.

Fantasy Football Scout 2017: Paul Richardson

One of the main reasons we all play fantasy football is to experience the moment when one of our players has an insanely impressive week in terms of scoring. The sensational satisfaction that comes with witnessing one your stud wideouts going off for 100 receiving yards and multiple touchdowns is a euphoric feeling that is hard to match. However, while having electric scorers on your team is paramount to winning every week, sometimes the less exciting but equally important assets that have high production floors can be just as vital to your success. While Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson has hardly dazzled as a breakout offensive weapon, his steady presence, and reliability when his hands touch the ball (just two drops this year) make him worthy of a second look.

Team: Seattle Seahawks
Position: Wide Receiver
Percent Owned On Fantasy Teams: (Yahoo Fantasy): 26%
Fantasy Points Total Thru Week 2 (Half PPR): Projected: 26.79 Actual: 29.30

As his projected and actual points scored indicate, Richardson is not going to set the world on fire as a big play wideout. However, when you consider that Richardson has quietly garnered 59 receiving yards or a touchdown in the first four weeks of the season, his solid floor is actually impressive. When you also consider that the steady receiver is on the field for 80.6% of the Seahawks pass plays (12th in the NFL) you see that Richardson’s value on the field is much higher than perhaps his paltry statistics indicate.

Instagram Photo

However, the only thing that really matters is Richardson’s value as a fantasy weapon and in this regard, his productivity is slowly but surely rising. Since week 2, Richardson’s value as a deep threat has skyrocketed as his yards per catch number has reached the heights of a solid deep threat receiver (yards per reception numbers weeks 2-4: 9.5, 15 and 21.7). While it could be argued that this massive increase can be somewhat attributed to playing in the place of a banged up Doug Baldwin, the fact that Richardson has displayed his reliability as a utility pass catcher will allow him to have an expanded rule in the Seahawks game plan going forward. While no one likes to see a stud like Baldwin limited on the field, his absence allowed Richardson to display a versatile skill set that could be incredibly valuable for both the Seahawks and fantasy owners.

While I am not suggesting that you rush to the waiver wire and claim Richardson immediately, it’s essential to always keep an eye on under the radar players who flash moments of greatness. As fantasy owners know all too well, injuries happen regularly and if the worst comes to pass and a star wideout goes down, guys like Richardson can quickly step in and produce. For now, keep one eye on Baldwin and the other on Richardson as the season progresses.
