The fight between Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Horn is being labeled the Battle of Brisbane, which will take place at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.

This fight will be unlike most for Pacquiao for it’ll be the first time he’s fought on live tv in the U.S. on basic cable, and first time since he k.o.’d Hector Velazquez in 2005 that he’ll have a non-pay-per-view fight.

Pacquiao has won both his fights since losing to Mayweather back in 2015 while Horn won all three of his fights in 2016 by stoppage. Horn has a record of 16-0-1, 11 KOs and Pacquiao boasts a record of 59-6-2 with 38 KOs.

Alex Jones is known for his controversial and outlandish take on politics and various conspiracy theories on his web show Infowars. Jones bread-and-butter is by bucking the status quo of the mainstream media with his own alternative worldview. Jones can be pretty out there, offensive, and at times, pretty f*cking funny (just look at how this guy presents himself). But dispute how wild Jones can get, this guest took the cake for bat-sh*t on-air craziness.

On Thursday, Robert David Steele appeared on Infowars and presented an out-of-the-world claim to Jones’ audience. Steele believes that NASA has successfully developed and implanted a colony full of child slaves. The topic was originally about kidnapped children and pedophile ring, and then things veered off into outer space (literally).

“This may strike your listeners as way out but we actually believe that there is a colony on Mars that is populated by children who were kidnapped and sent into space on a 20 year ride,” said Steele. “So that once they get to Mars they have no alternative but to be slaves on the Mars colony.”

Even though Alex is known for promoting his share of fringe stories, this one fell flat on Mr. Jones. “Well I don’t know about Mars bases,” said Jones, dismissing his guest’s claims.

However, the host didn’t stop there. Jones then started making claims that NASA has created alien lifeforms on Mother Earth. “But I know they’ve created massive, thousands of different types of chimeras that are alien lifeforms on this earth now.”

To be fair, there have been reports of three different chimeras on Earth as well as a pig-human chimera. Oh sh*t, is this guy Jones onto something?

“Look, I know that 90 percent of the NASA missions are secret and I’ve been told by high level NASA engineers that you have no idea,” said the host of Infowars. “There is so much stuff going on.”

This zany, yet disturbing story about a child slave colony on Mars spread like wildfire on the internet. This cooky tale spread so far that it reached the minds of NASA. People at this world-famous space organization quickly struck down that outlandish claim.

“There are no humans on Mars. There are active rovers on Mars. There was a rumor going around last week that there weren’t. There are,” Guy Webster, a spokesperson for Mars exploration at NASA, told The Daily Beast. “But there are no humans.”

Or is that just another lie from our evil alien overlords?

Ancajas is an absolute beast. He nailed over a hundred relentless shots on his opponent. Kinoshita tried hard, but Ancajas was just laying into him with wrecking ball lefts and rights. Kinoshita’s eye was completely swollen shut by the seventh round. Ancajas, like a wild animal, pounces on his prey with more shots than a machine gun. Kinoshita drops to his knees after a series of blows. The referee calls off the fight.

Jerwin Ancajas defeats Teriruo Kinoshita by knockout in the 7th round. Ancajas retains his IBF super flyweight title.

WBO welterweight title: Manny Pacquiao vs Jeff Horn

Horn clearly won the first round, taking the fight hard to his older opponent. Horn is kicking serious ass. Pacquiao is able to come back, but Horn is way too quick and vicious.

But Manny has a kickass comeback. Pacquiao has connected 56 hits, while Horn has hit 27.

Jeff hits a series of fast shots, but Pacquiao is resilient and hits a stiff left hand. Horn is tough, but Paquiao can see the holes in his offense.

Manny gets busted open in the the 6th round by his hairline. Earlier in the fight, Horn received a cut around his right eye.

In the seventh round, color commentator Teddy updated his scoreboard putting Pacquiao ahead of Horn 59-55. He prefers Manny’s “clean shots.”

More blood is streaming down from Pacquaio’s head. But Manny returns to fight nevertheless. Jeff comes in like a great ball of fire. Horn is going in for the kill, but Pacquiao won’t give up so easily. Pacquiao’s head is crimson red, but he’s still fighting his heart out.

Paquaio strikes, and Horns slips. The referee doesn’t rule it a knockdown. Both men are easily match, exchanging shots.

Manny starts off the 9th round as he lunges with a right hand. Pacquaio is picking up the pace a lot, trying to take down Horn with a series of big shots. The color commentator Teddy thinks that Horn is evaporating under the Australian sun. Pacquaio is hitting punch after punch, and Horn is busted wide open. Horn is an ugly mess, but is still fighting. His face is swollen and bloody, but he’s not going to give up just yet.

The referee wants to stop the fight, but Horn begs for another chance. Jeff hits first and they tangle up. The ref breaks them up again and again. Horn makes an amazing comeback, decisively winning round 10.

The fight is evenly matched. Jeff is a mess, but he fought to the bloody end.

The volcano eruption, itself, has injured at least ten people.

This helicopter was from the National Search and Rescue Agency. It was carrying four crewmen and four rescuers when it crashed near Candiroto village in Central Java province’s Temanggung district.

Earlier Sunday, a volcano was spewing cold lava. That volcano is known as Sileri Crater and is located in the Dieng Plateau. This force of nature spit cold lava, mud, and ash high up in the air (as much as 50 meters, 164 feet). This is when the Sileri Crater erupted.

National Disaster Mitigation Agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho estimated that the eruption occurred at about 11:30 A.M. At the time, 17 visitors were watching the volcano. Ten people have been injured in the blast. They were treated at a hospital for their injuries.

Nugroho also mentioned that police officers and soldiers were ordered to the scene of the blast, while citizens were instructed to evacuate just to be safe (authorities feared future eruptions).

Sileri is currently the most active volcano among roughly ten craters in at Dieng Plateau. Therefore, it has been given the reputation as being the most dangerous. In 2009, it sent volcanic materials soaring in the air as high as 200 meters (656 feet). This eruption triggered the creation of three new craters in the area.

However, Dieng Plateau, is still a very popular tourist area. This plateau is located in the Central Java district of Banjarnegara. This area attracts tourists because of its cool climate and gorgeous ninth-century Hindu temples. This plateau is about 2,000 meters (6,600 feet) above sea level.

Back in 1979, this volcano caused tremendous chaos when it spewed gases, asphyxiating roughly 142 people.

David Desper is being held without bail after turning himself in to the police. Desper is accused of murder in the death of Bianca Robertson, allegedly resulting from a case of road rage.

The 28-year-old man faces a slew of charges, including first-degree murder and reckless endangerment.

According to police, Desper (allegedly) shot Bianca Nikol Roberson after he became enraged. Why was he so angry? Apparently, it’s because both vehicles were trying to merge in the same lane on the highway. The shooting took place on Wednesday evening in West Goshen, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia. Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said, “They jockeyed for position and he wasn’t happy, so he pulled out a gun and shot Bianca in the head, killing her instantly.”

Robertson’s car veered off the road and hit a tree. Meanwhile, Desper’s red pick-up truck “took off like a bat out of hell,” according to Hogan.

Hogan stated that the victim was killed by “a single round from a 40-caliber Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun.”

The handgun was discovered by police in Desper’s bedroom. According to police, he bought that weapon legally in November 2015 and has a permit to carry this firearm.

Hogan called the killing a “savage, senseless and brutal act.”

Police originally identified the truck and its owner via surveillance footage. They urged the suspect to turn himself in. Desper complied with orders, and turned himself in to police on Sunday at 2 A.M. EST.

Robertson had just recently graduated from high school. Family members say that this young lady had been shopping for college clothes with her mother and grandma not long before her death. She had aspirations to attend Jacksonville University.

This dude blows the average marriage proposal out of the water. Vinny Capaldo-Smith asks his girlfriend Brooke Wodark to give him a tattoo. Little does Brooke know that she’s about to be asked the question of a lifetime.

Vinny is also a tattoo artist like his Wodark. He works at Tribe Tattoo in Denver, Colorado. But on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, Vin was the one getting a tattoo. He’s been asking his girlfriend to give him a tattoo for ages.

“Vinny had always said he wanted me to tattoo him. Today he sprung it on me and told me it was the day,” Wodark wrote on her Facebook.

Brooke was right about to lay the ink on Vinny’s ankle. But before she applies that heart near his foot, she spots a brand new tattoo on her boyfriend’s thigh that she never saw before. Sheen sold two key piece of bambino nostalgia: Babe’s 1927 World Series ring and the 1919 contract which drafted Ruth from the Boston Red Sox to the New York Yankees. That last piece of history put a longtime hex on the Boston team. The Red Sox wouldn’t see another World Series win until 2004.

Mr. Winning put both pieces of Ruth memorabilia up for auction on Lelands.com Invitational Auction. The starting bid was $100,000. Guess how much everything sold for…

How much $$ did Charlie get?

Sheen sold the ring for an amazing $2,093,927. The tiger blood king sold the “Curse of the Bambino” contract for an incredible $2,303,320. That’s a lot of f*cking money, folks! Hopefully, Charlie will be responsible with his earnings this time.

“I’ve enjoyed these incredible items for more than two decades and the time has come,” said Sheen. “Whatever price it brings is gravy.” Sheen called the World Series ring “the greatest thing you can own from the greatest player in the greatest year.” That’s a lot of gravy.

“These record-breaking prices show once again that Babe Ruth dominates the baseball auction world the same way he did the game,” Lelands founder and chairman Josh Evans said.

Just to think that Babe Ruth was sold to the Yankees for $100,000. And that was an bigger sh*t ton of money back then. Maybe not as much as Sheen’s sh*t ton, but you get the picture.

Us Americans love to fart, whether we like to admit it or not. Beans help facilitate that process.

I was never too big on beans. Being a picky-eater that I am, I’ve steered clear of many bean-based products. Can you believe I’ve never tried chili? Welp, the day will come. So far it’s been over 25 years and still no chili for this guy. String beans are alright though.

Brendt Christensen, 28, has been charged and arrested in the kidnapping of missing Chinese student Yingying Zhang. Zhang, a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, went missing on June 9 and police believe is now dead.

What Happened?

On Thursday, Christensen attended a rally in support of Zhang’s family, according to the East Illinois News Gazette. Several photos from the event show man bearing a strong resemblance to Christensen with an unknown woman dressed in black.

According to the FBI, Christensen was overheard talking about kidnapping Zhang, taking her to his apartment and holding her against her will on that very same day.

On Friday, Christensen was arrested and charged. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday.

Zhang, 26, was last seen getting into a black Saturn Astra on June 9 a few weeks after she arrived at the University’s Urbana-Champaign campus from China to study agriculture sciences.

According to the FBI, this vehicle matched the description of a car owned by Christensen.

After obtaining his cell phone, authorities also found that Christensen had visited online threads titled “Abduction 101,” “perfect abduction fantasy” and “planning a kidnapping” on the website FetLife, a “social network for the BDSM, fetish and kinky community.”

Christensen, who has been studying in the school’s competitive physics graduate program since 2013, also had an OkCupid account that said he was “married and in an open relationship.”

The profile read: “I’m Brendt. Grad student at UIUC. I’m pretty chill and easy going…it’s pretty much impossible to make me mad. I want to experience everything and test my limits.

“I also work out a ton but don’t mind if you don’t. Fitness has been a passion of mine since junior high.”

Jon Bowman, who exercised with the same group as Christensen, told the News Gazette: “He would nearly always come with a woman…Most of us who were working out were usually talkative and in a good mood, but Christensen was different. He and the woman always wore black, and they kept themselves. They never said anything to the rest of us,” Bowman told the paper.

While one former classmate, Souvik Dutta, said he was “dumbfounded” by the revelation and described Christensen as “very calm,” others who lived in Christensen’s apartment complex said he was “creepy.”

Based on Christensen’s comments when questioned by authorities and other facts upturned during the investigation, FBI agents believe Zhang is no longer alive.

American actress Stevie Ryan, best known for her viral videos, has passed away. She was 33.

Ryan’s cause of death is a suspected suicide at this time.

A post shared on the LA coroner’s office website confirmed that the Victorville-born star died on Saturday.

Shortly before her death, she posted a note on Twitter about the death of her grandfather.

Ryan came to fame with her well-known parodies of celebrities such as Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.

In a previous interview about the responses she receives from her videos, Ryan said: “No matter who you are…You can be the most talented person in the world and you put anything on the Internet and all you’re going to get is hateful responses.

“I didn’t know that at the time. I don’t think anyone knew that yet. I was like, “Oh hell no they didn’t! These b—hes do not know what they just asked for!

“So then I created Little Loca thinking, ‘I’m going to hand YouTube its ass right now.’ I created Little Loca and thought I’d just do it and freak people out.”

Fans quickly took to Twitter to express their condolences after news of Ryan’s death began to spread.

According to the website, Ryan died at her Los Angeles home with the cause of death listed as suicide by hanging.

New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony may finally be willing to waive his no-trade clause to join either the Houston Rockets or the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarkowski. Melo and the Knicks have enjoyed just two post-season appearances since joining forces in 2011. Anthony’s relationship with the franchise has soured amid four consecutive losing seasons.

As a result, Houston has thrown their hat into the Melo Sweepstakes ring following their splashy acquisition of point guard Chris Paul. Anthony and Paul are good friends and guard James Harden is a perennial MVP candidate. The trio would make an interesting Big Three despite their contrasting styles of play.

The Rockets have engaged the Knicks in trade talks, with Houston’s Ryan Anderson being named as a potential piece. However, Woj reports that New York is reluctant on picking up the $61.3 million Anderson is owed over the next three seasons.

The Cavaliers have long been rumored to be in the hunt for Anthony and former Knicks president Phil Jackson even reached out to Cleveland last season about a swap. Anthony and LeBron James are also good friends, making this one Melo’s preferred destinations.

Despite Jackson’s dismissal last week, New York remains focused on trading Anthony as they have consistently rebuffed his desire for a contract buyout. The team is said to be seeking younger players in return rather than long-term contracts.

Anthony is due $54 million over the next two years. He averaged 22.4 points and 5.9 rebounds last season. The 33-year-old is still one of the most talented individual scorers in the NBA, but his style of play has not translated to consistent winning.

Elliot Clark, an 11-year-old boy from Hoonah, Alaska, is not your typical 11-year-old boy. On a recent outing with family, a bear charged the group in an attacking manner. Clark quickly shot the bear dead and saved his family.

What Happened?

Clark was with three relatives and three dogs on a fishing trip recently when a brown bear raced out of the woods and charged the family. The bear caught the family completely off guard and managed to knock down other adults in the group and get on top of Clark’s uncle.

“There was four of them in a line…my so was third,” Clark’s father, Lucas Clark, told Juneau Empire. “The bear came down the trail at them, fella in the front, who was his uncle, the bear was on him so quickly that he didn’t have time to take his rifle off his shoulder.”

With the other family members knocked down or unarmed, Clark was the only person left with a weapon. He took his pump-action shotgun off his shoulder and fired at the bear.

Per the Juneau Empire:

The bear ran through the first two men, who were pushed to the side of the trail, leaving Elliot Clark in front of his unarmed cousin. The boy raised his pump action shotgun and shot the sow, hitting it with birdshot, which is often used just to scare bears off, Lucas Clark said.

“His first shot was a light load of birdshot. That first shot hit him in the shoulder and did absolutely nothing. The next shot hit him in the nose and traveled down through the neck,” Lucas Clark said.

The third shot went into the bear’s shoulder and his back, dropping it to the ground. The bear was so close when Elliot hit it with his third shot, there were powder burns on the bear’s mouth. Still alive, the bear then slid by Elliot’s feet.

“As the bear slid past him and came to a stop, he put a kill shot it him,” Lucas Clark said.

Stoltzfus finished it off with another round.

The bear was just a few feet from Clark when the young boy sprang into action, saving his family members.
