I’m not even a Knicks fan and James Dolan infuriates.

I have been subjecting myself to the tortures of being a Mets and Jets fan for over a 15 years now, but for some reason, I’ve never brought myself to the lows of being a Knicks fan.

And that reason is James Dolan.

Dolan, who is worth $1.5 billion dollars, is currently running the most embarrassing franchise in sports. And that’s coming from a man who willing roots for both the Mets and Jets so that’s how you know it’s the truth.

So on draft night, the night that teams can potentially instill new hope into their franchise, what does Dolan do? He goes and performs a concert with his band, JD & The Straight Shot (LOL) like a f*cking asshole.

At this point, it’s clear the Knicks are going to be a trainwreck of a basketball franchise until James Dolan sells the team.

What in the world?

Coming from New Jersey, I thought I’ve seen everything a deer has in it’s arsenal. Yet here these two are, squaring up like they’re kangaroos or something.

This is why you can’t f*ck around with nature, these creatures have more skill than they let one. One second you come across a raccoon you think you can punt across the yard, and bang, next thing you know it’s throwing Conor McGreogr-combos your way.

Even geese can run up on you before you know what’s happening. Maybe it’s just New Jersey geese, but every time I even went near one of those bastards, they’d start hissing and come at me wings up.

Nature, people. Beware.

Predicting the future is never easy, but fortunately it’s a skill we possess after multiple sessions of peyote drinking in our sensory deprivation tank. It was a harrowing process but one that was worth it for the information being held.

Everything has gone well for Lonzo Ball, he’s the second overall pick by the Lakers just like the prophecy foretold by his father Lavar Ball. But the prophecy is still not complete, not until all three Ball children are playing in purple and gold.

Being the oldest, Lonzo Ball can establish a Big Baller Brand style of play with his crisp passing and his ability to create his own shot. Magic Johnson has decided to give Lonzo the keys to the offense by trading D’Angelo Russell to the other side of the country so Lonzo won’t have to make any eye contact with Timofey Mozgov. Lonzo also won’t have to worry about Russell airing out the laundry and ruining his relationship with his beautiful girlfriend, Denise Garcia.

Lonzo and Garcia have been going out as far back as their senior prom. She plays soccer at UC Riverside so she won’t be too far to see her man patiently waiting for Paul George to walk through the front door next offseason. She’s a smokeshow just like any other woman on the west coast.

Package this with Ball’s FootLocker commercial and the Lakers have all the tools to compete with the Warriors next season. Better hold on tight to your balls Draymond, they’re coming for you.

Now onto the middle brother, LiAngelo Ball who’ll be a freshman next season for UCLA. Daddy Lavar Ball recently made the prediction that LiAngelo won’t be good enough for the NBA but expect LiAngelo to use that to fuel his game. He is considered the weakest prospect out of the family, scoring 72 points in a game only to be one-upped by his younger brother LaMelo with a 92 point performance, also snubbed from the McDonalds All-American Team.

Don’t worry, LiAngelo is still winning with his game as he’s found himself a girl himself. This is Isabella Morris and she wants a piece of the Big Baller lifestyle. She needs to learn from Garcia’s mistake and lock him before he gets a taste of that NBA lifestyle.

LiAngelo is destined for the Lakers as well, but there are factors at play. Lonzo’s presence alone will improve the Lakers to the point to where they could lose their pick since the Lakers can only own their pick if it falls between 2-5 because Steve Nash continues to haunt the hallways of the Staples Center. They’ll have no choice but to sit Lonzo for the season or even purposely break his arm so they can tank to keep their pick. This all comes down to fate as the Lakers will Fall for Ball 2018 to keep their pick and draft LiAngelo no matter what his draft projections are.

Now on to the final piece of the puzzle, LaMelo Ball, who already has a scholarship to UCLA before he even stepped foot on a high school court. Let’s address the elephant, LaMelo has no girlfriend nor could we legally share with you. This is not that type of site, moving on…

LaMelo is destined to be the best player out of all three of the brothers and the final piece of the puzzle. Remember that the Lakers will Fall for Ball 2020 to complete the prophecy. Unfortunately they’ll have to sacrifice their free agent acquisition Paul George so they can truly let the Balls run free in 2021 and win the Lakers their first title in over a decade.

Pierson College dean Jane Chu of Yale University, who was placed on leave after offensive reviews she posted, has left her position permanently, according to the school.

What Happened?

Chu issued a public apology last month for offensive reviews she posted to Yelp, referring to patrons as “white trash” and “low class folk.” A few days after posting the reviews, they were uncovered by students who began to circulate them around the Ivy League school.

Stephen Davis, the head of Pierson College, on Tuesday informed members of the residential college that Chu had left her position and “wished the best to students.” He will begin the search for a new dean.

Davis emailed members of the residential college on May 18, shortly after the reviews were first uncovered, that she had been placed on leave. He said the reviews, of which there were more than he initially thought, contained “inappropriate and unacceptable language pertaining to race and class” that was “deeply harmful to the community fabric.”

At least 10 reviews from Chu on restaurants and establishments in New Haven, Connecticut from her personal account have been found.

The Yale Daily News obtained the reviews.

“To put it quite simply: If you are white trash, this is the perfect night out for you!” Chu wrote in one review of a Japanese restaurant.

“This establishment is definitely not authentic by any stretch of the imagination and perfect for low class folks who believe this a real night out.

“Over salted and greasy food. Side note: employees are Chinese, not Japanese,” Chu, who identifies as Chinese American, said.

In another review she wrote: “I guess if you were a white person who has no clue what mochi is, this would be fine for you.”

The social psychologist – who once said she valued “views on diversity, equity, partnerships, and academic success” – issued an apology and deleted her Yelp account after her reviews began drawing public attention.

“I have learned a lot this semester about the power of words and about the accountability that we owe one another,” Chu wrote.

“My remarks were wrong.

“There are no two ways about it. Not only were they insensitive in matters related to class and race; they demean the values to which I hold myself and which I offer as a member of this community.”

Hardcore wrestling legend Mr. Pogo passed away today at the age of 66. He began his career in Japan, but his talent ventured overseas to the United States and Canada. In the 1990s, Mr. Pogo was nortiously known for death matches. He is best known for his appearances in Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling, W*ING, and Big Japan Pro Wrestling.

Pogo has faced off against the top legends of North American professional wrestling, from Harley Race to Bret Hart to “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, and more! In 1996, Pogo suffered a broken neck during a match against another hardcore legend known as Terry Funk. Pogo has tried to mount a comeback throughout the years, but that broken neck meant the was done with being a full-time active wrestler.

However, in 1998, Pogo became the inaugural BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Champion. After he lost the strap that year, he rekindled his feud with Atsushi Onita in FMW. He then became a freelancer for various promotions, but only wrestled during special occasions.

Nicki Minaj dresses like a Zoolander character and sounds like the hood member of Alvin & The Chipmunks, yet somehow, it all collides together to make one of the sexiest women on the planet. At least I think so.

While shooting music videos for her latest singles, Nicki has appeared to adopt this bizarre Egyptian alien look. You gotta respect her for taking what looks like failed fashion concepts and making them work. Does her scientifically engineered body make these said clothes look good? The popular modding tool, Open IV, was shut down by the developers, Rockstar, and their publisher, Take-Two Interactive, meaning players will no longer have access to the modding tool nor any of the software associated with these modding tools.

Rockstar sent a cease and desist letter to the modding software owners Force Hax, Lexicon and Menyoo, telling them to shut down all of their operations and donate any revenue they earned to charity organizations. Each of their websites now features the following statement:

“After discussions with Take-Two Interactive, effective immediately we are ceasing all maintenance, development, and distribution of the [Lexicon / Menyoo / Force Hax] cheat menu services. We will be donating our proceeds to a charity designated by Take-Two. We apologize for any and all problems [Lexicon / Menyoo / Force Hax] has caused to the Grand Theft Auto Online community.”

The publishing company released a statement on its website taking a firm stance against the modding community, saying the single-player mods could affect GTA online, even though Rockstar Games has had no problem with using single-player mods in the past.

“OpenIV enables recent malicious mods that allow harassment of players and interfere with the GTA Online experience for everybody,” it said of the much beloved modding software. “We are working to figure out how we can continue to support the creative community without negatively impacting our players.”

Community Backlash

A heavy backlash from fans has damaged the reputation of the developer and their publisher in several ways.

For one, this destroys channels who dedicated much of their videos to content that needs these tools to be made. Many YouTubers have built their careers off of playing crazy racing mods or spawning hundreds of cars just to blow them all up using a modded rifle that shoots explosive rounds.

The people aren’t happy. In an act of rebellion, many people have taken to the games’ store pages to give horrible reviews to the titles, resulting in overwhelmingly negative recent reviews and depreciating the overall reviews of both games to “mixed.”

An online petition was also started asking Rockstar to allow OpenIV to be used again by the tens of thousands of people who loved messing around with it as a hobby.

It’s not clear if any of the community’s efforts will do anything to Rockstar’s firm stance on the issue, but it’s the best they can do, and we’ll find out soon enough if these efforts are in vein.

Final Thoughts

As boggie2988 said, Rockstar seems like its following in the footsteps of Bethesda by making moves to start monetizing on the modding universe. If this were to happen, they’d lose a lot of their loyal fans and many more current mod developers who do it as a hobby would be shut out of their favorite sidejob.

Corporations cutting their devoted fans away from their modding passions is a recurrent theme in the gaming scene, like when Nintendo threatened the Project M developers and when Bethesda first tried to add paid mods to the Steam Marketplace

A big benefit to this is that it puts more money in the hands of the developers who make the mods, but a downside to this is that most modders make them to have fun and aren’t in it for the money. A better alternative would be to showcase free mods and allow the community to donate money to the modders, with a portion of each donation going to the game developers.

Nebraska Democrat Phil Montag has been fired from his party position on Thursday after an audio recording was released, in which this democrat says that he’s “glad Scalise was shot,” and “wishes” that he was “dead.”

Montag is referring to the shooting incident on Wednesday, June 14th, 2017. James T. Hodgkinson fired his automatic weapon while politicians were practicing for a congressional baseball game. Hodgkinson had been inspired to target and kill Republicans. He carried a hit list in his pocket which contained the names of various Republican representatives.

Republican House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was critically injured in the shooting. This Wednesday, his health was reported as “fair.” On Friday, Scalise was transferred out of intensive care. His health has been improving.

Apparently, Phil Montag wished that Scalise would have not recovered from the shooting. He’s glad that the Louisiana representative got shot.

“Let me tell you something. That motherf**ker..the one who got shot the Scafie guy..what’s his name?” asks Montag.

A female’s voice corrects his rant, and informs him that his last name is Scalise.

“No, this motherf**ker, like his whole job is like to get people, convince Republicans to f**king kick people off f**king healthcare. I hate this motherf**ker. I’m f**king glad he got shot….I’m not gonna say that in public,” says Montag.

“Then why are you saying it to us for? What are you tellin’ us for?” asks another voice on the recording.

“I wish he was f**king dead,” responds Montag.

But little did Phil Montag know, one of the people he was ranting to was actually recording the entire conversation. After Montag went on his death march, disappointed with the non-fatal result of political violence, he was informed that the entire f**king conversation was being recorded and will be released to the public….

Johnny Depp is yet another actor to get in a bit of hot water over some Trump shenanigans. Instead of a bloody head like Kathy Griffin, Depp brought up some historical humor, asking the audience, “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?”

Depp added, “I want to clarify: I’m not an actor. I lie for a living. However, it’s been awhile, and maybe it’s time.”

The crowd, at the Glastonbury Festival in England, laughed and cheered at the actor’s assassination joke. In fact, before he made the joke he received an opposing response. He first asked the crowd, “Can you bring Trump here?” which was met by a chorus of boos and jeers. But when he made the assassination joke the crowd lightened up. Clinton’s post reflects a column by the Center for American Progress, a liberal advocacy group, and Harvard researchers that suggest about 18,000 to 28,000 preventable deaths may occur by 2026 if this new policy causes people to lose healthcare coverage.

Hillary isn’t the only Democratic figurehead to cast a grave tone onto this bill. On Thursday, former US President Barack Obama took to Facebook to write, “This bill will do you harm.”

Meanwhile, current President Donald Trump wasn’t too receptive of the house healthcare bill, which he labels as  “mean.”

On Thursday, after the senate bill was released, Trump revealed a much more positive tone. He said that the legislation will need “a little negotiation, but it’s going to be very good.”

As of today,  five Republican senators oppose the senate’s bill. If there are no Democrats in the senate who vote for this healthcare legislation, then only two dissenting members of the GOP are needed to kill this bill.

The incident transpired on Friday, May 26th, when the dead bodies of 2-year-old Juliet and 16-month-old Cavanaugh were discovered in a locked car parked in the driveway of her home outside of Fort Worth. According to NBC Dallas-Fort Worth, temperatures reached 96 degrees that day.

Documents released on Friday reveal the department’s rational for arresting the suspect. The Parker County Sheriff’s Department determined that Randolph changing her story about how her children died was probable cause for arrest.

At first, authorities say that the suspect told them that she was folding laundry while her children were outside playing. After about an hour, she left the house to look for her children and found them locked inside the car with her keys and cellphone. She said that she broke the window in an attempt to rescue her children and called 911.

But when Randolph was arrested this Friday, she told a completely different tale. Authorities say that the suspect admitted to locking the toddlers inside her vehicle on purpose to teach them a lesson.

“When they refused to leave the car, the defendant said she shut the door to teach Juliet a lesson, thinking she could get herself and her brother out of the car when ready,” authorities said in the probable cause affidavit.

Authorities also claim that Randolph admits to leaving her children behind in the car, while she smoked marijuana and passed out for a few hours.

“When she woke, the defendant found her children in her vehicle, unresponsive,” authorities added. “The defendant said that she broke the car window to make it look like an accident.”

Ms. Randolph was booked into the Parker County Jail on Friday. A bond has not been set, and we don’t know whether or not she’s hired an attorney.

In 2017 alone, 13 children have died from being locked inside cars and suffering heat stroke, according to San Jose State University professor Jan Null. Null, a meteorologist that works with the National Safety Council, tracks the trend in hot car deaths each year via his web site. According to the data, an average of 37 children die in hot cars annually in the United States.

To fight back against this trend of hot car deaths, Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, introduced the Hot Cars Act of 2017. This bill requires all new cars to come equipped with a device that alerts the owner of the vehicle if the child is left behind after the car is shut off.
