Breaking Bad glamorized meth like it was nobody’s business. But Florida, on the other hand, isn’t so glamorous when it comes to crystal meth. This pair of five suspects were wrangled up at retirement residence fronted as both a golf cart chop shop and a meth lab.

Let’s drift off to The Villages, a yuge retirement community containing approximately 157,000 people in Sumter County, Florida. This place certainly has its fair share of lewd acts transpire such as public senior sex in the middle of the community. The most popular way of getting around this small retired suburban city is via golf carts. As a result, golf cart theft is the preferred crime of the community. One ring of thieves stole 30 golf carts a month, mostly worth $600-$1,200, but some rang as high as $9,000.

Sumner County authorities swooped in with an early-morning raid of a home in The Villages. Officers seized drugs, weapons and uncovered their golf cart chop shop. The five suspects who were apprehended are Kenneth Ray Padgett, 53; Charlotte L. Gajewsky, 42; William Anthony Wade Romska, 45; Michael Edward Witkowski, 63; and Unrath, 43. Charges include sale of methamphetamine, keeping or maintaining a drug shop, possession of weapon/ammo by convicted felon, possession of heroin, possession of new legend drug without a prescription.

Some of the other items that were found were golf cart parts, including windshields, wheels, seat cushions, and tires.

Bellator 180 is taking place Saturday night and is full of UFC veterans and title fights. This card features several UFC legends and former champions including the likes of Randy Couture, Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva. However, in addition to MMA legends, this fight card also has three divisional title fights that should be highly entertaining for television viewers and the Madison Square Garden crowd. Heavyweight champion Phil Davis is 17-3 in his career and faces 22-5 Ryan Bader in what should be an extremely close title fight. Welterweight champion Douglas Lima is 28-6 in his MMA career and will face 18-5 Lorenz Larkin for the title. Lightweight champion Michael Chandler is 16-3 in his career and will look to defend his title against submission specialist Brent Primus who is 7-0 in his MMA career. All of these title fights should be quite entertaining and competitive with each fight lasting at least a few rounds.

However, the main fight in this card is between Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva. Sonnen is a UFC legend who partook in several UFC title bouts including his legendary five round fight with Anderson Silva for the UFC Middleweight Championship where he lost in the fifth round via triangle armbar submission in 2010. Sonnen is currently 40 years old and has a professional MMA record of 28 wins with only 15 loses. Sonnen made his Bellator MMA debut earlier this year and fought against Tito Ortiz where he lost in a first round submission. After his departure from the UFC in 2014, Sonnen started a grappling event series called ‘Submission Underground’. With Sonnen’s passion for grappling and submissions, one can reasonably infer that he plans on using his grappling expertise against Silva on Saturday night.

Sonnen’s opponent on Saturday night will be none other than knockout specialist Wanderlei Silva. In his MMA career, Silva has 35 wins and only 12 losses with 25 of those wins coming via knockout. Silva is also 40 years old and has not fought since 2013. Silva is a tank who will plan on punching Sonnen repeatedly before Sonnen can take the fight to the ground. However, one has to wonder how rusty Silva will be due to his four year break and if he is in good enough shape to defeat someone whose last fight was only a few months ago.

I expect this fight to be very entertaining due to the conflicting fighting styles that both opponents like to use. Sonnen will try to keep the fight in the clinch and on the ground while Silva will look to drop bombs in the stand up game. I personally think Silva will catch Sonnen with a few heavy punches and will win this fight via knockout. Either way, Bellator 180 should be a phenomenal MMA spectacle.

That’s one prick of a tick! Just one bite from this blood-sucker, and you’re bacon-munching and burger-biting days will be over for good. That’s right! No more double cheeseburgers, no more spare ribs of any kind, no more America (basically).

This little son of a piece of sh*t is called the lone star tick. The white dot or “lone star” on the back has given this feisty little fu*ker its nickname. This dot is present only on the back of female lone star ticks. And I’m sure they’re plenty of girlfriends who want their guy to stop eating so much red meat. Well, guess what ladies. You’ve now got a tick to force that steak from his mouth if lip service alone doesn’t do the trick.

Normally, this little bugger is found in the southeastern region of the United States. But the case of the little star tick is spreading. Recently, reports of lone star tick bites are popping up as far north as Minnesota and New Hampshire, and these horrors are even at the tip of Suffolk County in Long Island, New York.

The CDC describes this sneaky little sh*t as a “very aggressive tick that bites humans.” They also note that “lone star tick saliva can be irritating; redness and discomfort at a bite site does not necessarily indicate an infection. The nymph and adult females most frequently bite humans and transmit disease.”

Side effects of this bite may include an itching sensations, hives, stomach cramps, difficulty breathing (which may lose to loss of consciousness), diarrhea, and a strong and permanent allergic reaction to red meat from cows and pigs.

How does this tick make you allergic to red meat?

Perhaps, the worst side effect of all is finding out that you can no longer eat any red meat because of a single tick bite. You can’t eat bacon. You can’t eat a hamburger. You can’t eat bacon on your burger. What the f**k?!

Possibly the only worst side effect is the “difficulty breathing” part, and that’s only if you die or receive permanent brain damage from lack of oxygen.

Here’s how it works: That tricky tick uses its saliva to infiltrate the immune system of the human host, which sends off signals to the body whenever a carbohydrate called galactose-alpha-1,3-galactose AKA alpha-gal is ingested. Once the alpha-gal in the bacon (or any red meat) is consumed, the body believes that the person has just ingested poison. The body responds as if you’ve injected yourself with a dangerous substance. After that, you’re stuck with chicken and seafood for good. Sorry, buddy!

This tick really sucks!

As a side note: what the hell is that person in the lead photo thinking? Unless you’re a diehard vegan and want to get infected, stay away from that damned lone star tick! Stay away!

Don’t tangle with this tick! Think of all the steak you’ll be missing out on, America. That’s not the USA I know.

At only one minute and fourteen seconds into the first round, we have ourselves a winner. Mitrione stands tall after annihilating a legend like a true beast. Matt made it look easy!

Whenever I hear of a naked dude at any concert, I always get flash-backs to the video of the guy with the tic-tac getting zapped at the Paul McCartney show. But instead of relying on the brute force of police, Foo Fighters took a different approach to handling nudity.

The Foo Fighters were the main event of the evening before a wild Glastonbury crowd. Frontman Dave Grohl looked out at a sea of fans and spotted a naked man. “It’s starting to get good! I see a naked guy! This one’s for him.”

And of course, Grohl would pick that song “My Hero” from their 1997 album The Colour And The Shape. He dedicated this tune to the outlandish bro willing to bare it all for the Foo Fighters.

But this wasn’t the only song Grohl dedicated to that night in Scotland. The band dedicated the world-famous song “Everlong” to Laura Plane, a British school teacher who passed away after an eight-year battle with cancer. Her husband Joe contacted Grohl on Twitter and told the rocker about their love for the band.

Joe and Laura were planning on spending the ten-year wedding anniversary, but she passed away last month. For their first wedding dance, Laura and Joe danced to “Everlong.” Grohl made sure to play that song in honor of the late Laura Plane, who may have just attended the show in spirit.

Friday night’s show was a big comeback for the Foo Fighters after their 2015 headlining opportunity was broken along with Dave Grohl’s leg. “I’m about two years late tonight, I’m sorry. Traffic was a bitch,” Grohl joked. “Let me tell you something, for all of you who were here in 2015… I’m sorry I missed you. But I watched that show on my laptop as I was sitting in a wheelchair with a broken leg, and it looked beautiful.”

And oh, Dave didn’t just dedicate a song to a naked guy and a deceased teacher. Grohl also dedicated a song to his surgeon, James, who repaired his leg and helped get him back on his feet to continue the later part of that 2015 tour. And of course, Dave’s sense of humor played out as well when he chose “Walk” as the dedication song for his leg doctor.

On Sunday, UFC Fight Night 112 will take place in Oklahoma and its fight card promises a perfect blend of UFC veterans and newcomers. Veterans like former UFC Lightweight and Welterweight champion B.J. Penn and former Welterweight champion Johny Hendricks will try to turn back the clock and attempt to remain relevant in today’s UFC. Both fighters’ fights are also much-watch television due to their knockout power and their submission expertise. But the best potential for an exciting finish lies with Kevin Lee and Michael Chiesa who will go toe-to-toe in the main event.

Kevin Lee, the 24-year-old fighter from Michigan, is currently 15-2 and can be a potential superstar in this organization as his career progresses. Known as a submission specialist, Lee has won seven of his fights via submission including each of his last two fights. However, Lee’s recent performances in the octagon have been overshadowed by his questionable comments in various press conferences and interviews. As for this fight, Lee might have overstepped his boundaries when he made comments about Chiesa’s mother in a press conference which led to the pair exchanging punches at the venue. Lee will have to be on his A-game if he hopes to defeat Chiesa who might have some added motivation to beat Lee in the octagon.

Lee’s opponent, Michael Chiesa, is also a submission specialist who boasts a 14-2 record with 10 of his wins coming via submission including one in each of his last two fights. Despite being elite on the ground, Chiesa is not known for being an effective striker and he will probably look to take this upcoming fight immediately to the ground where he can potentially choke Lee out.

This fight between Chiesa and Lee looks like an even chess match at first look. Both fighters prefer to fight on the ground and use their takedowns and submissions to score points and win via decision or stoppage. Since both fighters are significantly worse in a stand-up style bout, I expect this fight to be a constant struggle for position on the ground with very little time spent throwing strikes. I personally think that Chiesa will win this fight via submission because he is slightly better than Lee on the ground and has an added incentive to destroy Lee in this fight. Either way, it should be a very entertaining and close fight from beginning to end.

Colombian authorities report that a recreational boat containing 150 passengers has sunk near Medellin on Sunday. A rescue mission is currently underway.

The Colombian air force responded to the incident on Twitter by informing their followers that an air force helicopter is on the way to the Guatape reservoir. Meanwhile, the mayor of Medellin, Federico Gutiérrez, said that firefighters and scuba divers were heading to the area.

Videos are popping up on social media showing a multi-story ferry sinking as a bunch of other recreational vehicles come to the aid of the dying boat.

Authorities have not reported how many people have been rescued as of this moment.

After deliberation, Tulip and Jesse decide what to do with Carlos. While the police move in to where they think Jesse is, Donnie, Tulip, Betsy, and Jesse make preparations for the call to God. Though Quincannon shouts his issues with the existence of God to the crowd, Jesse attempts to make the call with technical issues. God eventually shows up to answer the crowd’s questions, but Jesse has questions of his own. With Genesis, Jesse gets “God” to reveal that God is missing and no one knows where he is. With people’s faith shattered from the call, consequences for the townspeople happen in various ways. While at a diner, Jesse’s new plan is to travel and find God.

Fear The Walking Dead returns tonight with season 3, episode 5, is titled “Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame.” Fear the Walking Dead (FTWD) is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series created by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman. FTWD premiered on AMC on August 23, 2015, and is the companion series and prequel to The Walking Dead, which is based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.

This week’s episode resembles the same title as Charles Bukowski’s literary work Burning In Water, Drowning In Flame. By Kirkman naming the episode, possibly as an ode to the womanizing wildcard Charles Bukowski, it’s safe to assume that things may be getting even more wild from last week’s intense episode. Here’s why last week’s episode was so important:

In 100, we get a quieter, more measured post-apocalypse, which is heavier on mood and setting than it is on zombie action. We also get some quality time with Daniel Salazar (Rubén Blades), who we know somehow escaped the vineyard. He’s more or less intact, save for nasty burns on his leg. More importantly, FTWD delivers what is arguably its strongest, most effective hour to date. While I liked Nick’s long and treacherous trek to Tijuana in last season’s Grotesque there’s something different about Daniel’s journey. It somehow seems more intimate and personal. The best part of 100 is that it functions as a standalone episode with a self-contained story arc. As intriguing as the Ottos’ ranch may be with its strange dynamics and black-and-white beliefs, what we get this week is a murky, morally grey area in which a new set of survivors resides.

This week’s episode includes a new threat that reveals itself to Madison and Troy as they search for answers, while Alicia must reconcile with her past decisions.

HBO’s Silicon Valley will wrap up its fourth season tonight with episode No. 10, “Server Error,” at 10:00 P.M. ET. Here’s everything you need to know about last week’s episode:

The team heads to Hooli Con with a plan to mask the Pied Piper app as the event’s wifi access point using strategically placed routers, in order to get Pied Piper installed in the maximum number of phones possible. After running into his ex-girlfriend Winnie, who is presenting her boyfriend’s app, Richard sabotages their laptop’s screensaver, which triggers a ‘tactical response team’ sent by Hoover, Hooli’s head of security. He tries to warn Jack Barker that Pied Piper is up to something, but is violently dismissed and threatened to be fired. After Hoover finally catches Dinesh and Gilfoyle red-handed on CCTV, he lets them go as Richard once collaborated with Gavin Belson to hinder Jack Barker’s plans at Hooli and he sympathizes with this. Pied Piper finally gets installed on a sufficient number of phones, which allows Richard to move all of FGI’s data into the app, eliminating the need for an auxiliary data server and its related costs. The high point of the event sees Jack Barker and Keenan Feldspar presenting their VR mobile tech to the world, but it fails miserably and causes Hooli phones all over the auditorium to explode. Meanwhile, Ehrlich decides to accept Gavin Belson’s invitation (originally addressed to Richard) to come and join him at a monastery in Tibet, to Belson’s shock.

It was an ordinary Saturday night in an upstate New York amusement park until…a teenager is hanging 25 feet in the air, holding onto the gondola ride for dear life. People were acting frantic as this young girl was only moments away from possibly falling to her death. Meanwhile, her young brother cried hysterically as he sat in the two-person green pod, telling his sister that he couldn’t hold on.

The whole ordeal took place Sky Ride at Six Flags Great Escape Amusement Park, about 55 miles (89 kilometers) north of Albany, New York. People crowded the area where this young teenager danged high in the air. Patrons panicked. A child was in danger.

Matthew Howard Sr. and his 21-year-old daughter answered the cries for help. They positioned themselves underneath the halted gondola ride in attempt to catch the distressed teenager. Howard told the girl that it was alright to let go of the ride.

“I said: ‘It’s ‘OK! It’s OK to let go, I’ll catch you, honey,'” said Howard.

A few good Samaritans helped the father-daughter duo catch the plummeting teen. Mathew and his daughter fell backwards after catching the girl. That teenager is now safe; she was taken to Albany Medical Center in stable condition with no major injuries.

Howard received a minor back injury from catching the teenager. “I couldn’t let that little girl die,” Howard told The Associated Press on Sunday. “No one wants to put himself underneath a body like that, but I couldn’t stand by and watch.”

Loren Lent, from Glenville, said Sunday that his 10-year-old daughter has been affected by the incident. Lent, along with his wife and daughter were on the ride looking down and watching the ordeal take place. “My daughter was just traumatized,” he said. “She was crying for about a half-hour after.”

Lent noted that ride didn’t have seat belts, only a bar to hold patrons inside. “I’ll never let my family on that ride again,” he said.

The 14-year-old teenager who fell from the ride is reportedly in “good spirits.”

On Sunday, park officials noted they won’t be running the gondola ride despite the fact that it is cleared for operation. The ride had been inspected and is in proper order, but the park still won’t provide this ride clearance to operate.

“”There does not appear to be any malfunction of the ride, but we have closed the attraction until a thorough review can be completed,” park officials said. “We are reviewing our internal procedures to ensure the safety and security of our guests and team members.”

Chance The Rapper, at just 24-years-old, accepted at the humanitarian award at the 2017 BET Awards on Sunday night.

Over the course of the past year, Chance, a proud Chicago native, has donated literally millions of dollars to the city & it’s public school system. And his efforts have no gone unnoticed, and BET decided to award the young rapper with it’s 2017 Humanitarian Award.

But before he could give his acceptance speech, Chance was first showered in praise by none other than Michelle Obama, the former First Lady of the United States. Chance has known the Obamas for years now, as his father, Ken Williams-Bennett, was an aide to then-Senator Barack Obama.

And of course, his acceptance speech consisted of everything that makes Chance special: enthusiasm, compassion, energy, and honesty.

The Westfield Mall in San Fransisco was forced to close early on Sunday, June 25 after a riot caused a lockdown.

According to police, a brawl forced the temporary lockdown of San Francisco’s downtown Westfield Mall and ended with several people being detained, as well as one being arrested.

San Fransisco police received calls around 6:45 PM PST about fights at the mall, with dozens of officers responding. Authorities say that one officer was injured during the incident.

San Francisco police received multiple calls about 6:45 p.m. reporting fights at Westfield San Francisco Centre, police said. Dozens of officers swarmed the shopping mall in the Union Square area of the city and were seen in witness videos taking multiple suspects into custody.

The brawl started between about two dozen people in the food court and grew from there, police said. Some officers were seen struggling to maintain order during the melee and even being attacked by suspects. One officer suffered minor injuries after being pepper-sprayed, police said.

Because of the level of violence and the number of innocent bystanders inside the mall, the center was closed early, police said.

While there is still no indication of what exactly caused the brawl or how many people were involved, police were able to confirm that one person was arrested.

The mall is expected to open on schedule on Monday, June 26.

It’s only a matter of time, right? As far as I’m concerned, aliens are already living among us. And it appears as though NASA is about to confirm as much. Well, kind of.

Anonymous, the world famous hacker group who seem to have far more bark than bite, recently released a video claiming that NASA is on the verge of announcing the discovery of intelligent alien life.

The video opens with Anonymous’ usual Guy Fawkes’ mask-clad mascot reading the text of an article responding to a Congressional hearing about the potential announcement of the discovery of extraterrestrial life.

Anonymous quotes a speech given by NASA associate administrator Dr. Thomas Zurbuchen during a congressional hearing on ‘Advances in the Search for Life’ back in April.

“With all of this activity related to the search for life, in so many different areas, we are on the verge of one of the most profound discoveries, ever. And as we know from experience, NASA’s scientific discoveries of today continually drive impactful research for tomorrow that goes far beyond the initial observations,” Zurbuchen states.

Now, while NASA is clearly more bullish about the subject than anyone at NASA is willing to let on, it’s important to remember that Anonymous, despite all their bluster, picks and choose their spots carefully, and therefore, leads me to believe that there is some substantiality behind their claims.

And to be honest, if there was going to be a year where our government confirms alien life, it’s going to be 2017, right? Because of course.
