The Spring Forward Apple Media Event has officially started, and the tech team already divulged a slew of important information. Considering you’re a very important person (yeah, we know you), we’ve broken down the highlights so you don’t waste your time sitting through the entire stream. Here’s what you need to know:
The Apple TV is now priced at $69 (down from $99)
Out of the 700 Million iPhones sold this year, there has been a 99% customer satisfaction rate.
700,000 places currently accept Apple Pay in the US.
Every major car manufacturer is now supports CarPlay, and there are 40 new models shipping by the end of the year.
mPower is the Parkinson’s app, meaning that anyone with an iPhone can contribute to Parkinson’s research.
There are also breast cancer, asthma apps and more apps for diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
ResearchKit will be open source and the first five apps you saw will be available today

New MacBook
New MacBook comes in Space grey, Silver and Gold.
12-inch screen. Weighs just 2 pounds. “The lightest Mac we have ever made.” 13.1mm thin, compared to 17.3mm for the Air – 24 percent thinner than the Air.
$1,299, $1,599 for a faster processor and twice the storage. Release date: April 10th.
13-inch Pro also getting the new Force Touch trackpad, faster processors, and faster flash. Also updated to 10-hour battery life. The Pro is getting the Force Touch trackpad so you can start Force Touching things.
