Scarlett Johansson stopped by the 17th Annual IFP/West Independent Spirit Awards last night, and that scene has become kind of a joke. The movie that won Best Picture had a $20 million budget and featured lots of Hollywood stars. Also, the IFC Channel shows mainstream studio schlock all the time now and just hopes that you find it kitschy and cool. The really good news is that Scarlett Johansson decided to ignore the independent spirit which says that celebs shouldn’t dress to glamorously, and chose to rock a little black dress that was better than any little indie film we saw last year.
