So here’s what Jason Momoa will look like as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice–since the “Dawn of Justice” in the title is really the dawn of the Justice League of America, although the DC movie people will probably just make it “Justice League” now. Anyway, the Justice League comic is the DC Comics equivalent of Marvel’s The Avengers, and they’re very eager to get that franchise off the ground to compete with Marvel at the movies.

The pic was posted overnight by director Zack Snyder via his Twitter account, so it’s going to be a geekgastic morning for a lot of folks. We mostly like the monochromatic hair on Momoa, and that they let him keep the trident. That trident’s important, man.
