When media members go into the locker room after games, they ask many of the same questions every single time. Players have grown to accept that for the most part but some has grown tired about the media as a whole. During NBA All-Star Weekend in New York, Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant made his views on the media and talking to them very clear by saying, “You guys really don’t know s***.”
That would be an interesting way of going after the media. Durant said he was only talking to the media “because I have to. You’re going to write what you want to write. You’re going to love us one day and hate us the next.” The media does have their own way of spinning the story one way or another. Durant though seems like he would love it if the media didn’t talk to him no more.
There are going to be more players like Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, who just give the same answer to every question the way this is going. Durant is one of the biggest stars in the NBA though and fans want to know what he is thinking and feeling. The rant that Durant displayed this past weekend is something that many NBA players are likely applauding him for as the All-Star break continues.
