The nominations for the 87th Academy Awards were announced on ABC Thursday morning by “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” director J.J. Abrams, “Gravity” director Alfonso Cuaron and “Star Trek” star Chris Pine. The event marks the first time all 24 Oscars categories were announced during the live telecast.
