The 2019 CMA Awards take place on Wednesday, November 13 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Carrie Underwood will serve as host for the 53rd annual Country Music Association Awards, while legends Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton will serve as special guests.
It marks the first year that a woman was nominated in every category outside of Male Artist of the Year.
“In addition to awarding the year’s best and brightest in the genre, the 53rd Annual CMA Awards will celebrate the legacy of women within country music, and we couldn’t think of a more dynamic group of women to host the show.” CMA CEO Sarah Trahern said.
Maren Morris leads the way with six nominations including Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
