Logan Paul Says He’d Destroy CM Punk in MMA; Open to Dillon Danis Boxing Match

YouTube star Logan Paul is 0-1 in his professional boxing career after losing to fellow YouTube star Olajide “KSI” Olatunji in a rematch of their amateur bout from a year ago on Saturday, November 9 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on DAZN.

Despite his loss, Paul isn’t shying away from future ventures into combat sports and he has his sights set on two high-profile names.

While speaking to TMZ Sports following the loss to KSI, Paul made his case for a mixed martial arts bout with former WWE star and UFC fighter Phil “CM Punk” Brooks, while also saying he is open to a future boxing match with Conor McGregor training partner and current Bellator MMA fighter Dillon Danis.

And, as you would expect, Paul is not lacking in confidence.

“I am … I think I would destroy CM Punk if I’m being honest,” Paul said, via TMZ Sports. “I don’t know if anyone would disagree with that.”

The 41-year-old CM Punk is 0-2 in his professional MMA career with a submission loss to Mickey Gall and a brutal beatdown at the hands of Mike “The Truth” Jackson. Punk has not fought since being embarrassed in the cage by Jackson at UFC 225 in 2018.

Paul went on to say he would be open to boxing Danis, who previously called for a boxing match with either Logan or his brother Jake Paul. Danis is a much more established fighter than CM Punk. The jiu-jitsu ace is 2-0 in his mixed martial arts career with both wins coming by way of first-round submission under the Bellator banner.

Danis was reportedly scheduled to attend last weekend’s fight between Paul and KSI, but was ultimately banned from the Staples Center after being labeled a “high risk.”

If Danis is actually willing to throw hands with Paul in the ring in the future, it’s hard to imagine a promoter passing up that kind of money and exposure for their promotion as long as both men agree to the fight.
