Epic Games set gamers into a frenzy on Monday, October 14 when they seemingly wiped the popular video game Fortnite — which is apparently as addictive as cocaine — with a black hole to end Chapter 10. But now, as we get closer to the launch of Fortnite Chapter 2 — or potentially simply Fortnite 11 — we are learning more about what we can expect moving forward.
Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1 is officially here and the cinematic trailer dropped for the upcoming season on Tuesday, October 15.
The trailer gives us a first look at “a graphical overhaul, new map, gameplay features and much, much more,” according to GamesRadar+.
You can check out the trailer which runs just over 2 minutes below.

When Season 10 of Fortnite ended with the black hole, a whopping 5.5 million people were estimated to have watched the cut scene — which was dubbed “The End” — on Twitch and YouTube. The anticipation for the new season is higher than ever, so we will have to see what Epic Games has in store for the next few installments.
But remember, when you pick up the sticks for Fortnite, move forward with caution because no one wants to be dealing with a crippling addiction.
“The addiction to the game Fortnite has real consequences on the lives of players, many of whom have developed problems such that they do not eat, do not shower and no longer socialize,” a class-action lawsuit claimed. “Moreover, rehabilitation centers specifically dedicated to addiction to Fortnite have opened all over the world, particularly in Quebec and Canada, to treat people for addiction.”
Oh well, happy gaming.
