A new MTV reality series, Ghosted: Love Gone Missing, is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 10, as people across the country attempt to locate their long lost lovers that completely cut off ties and vanished from their lives.
The show is hosted by musician and actor Travis Mills and Rachel Lindsay, who starred as the Bachelorette in season 13 of the long-running reality series.
“Ghosted: Love Gone Missing helps distraught people track down former friends or lovers who suddenly cut off all contact with them,” the show description reads. “Hosts Rachel Lindsay and Travis Mills meet the haunted and come up with theories about the cause behind the ghosting.
“Then the hosts look for leads in order to track down the ghost. Finally, the truth is revealed during a confrontation between the two parties.”
The series appears that it will have a similar set-up to MTV’s hit show Catfish, which helps connect people across the country with their online romances. Catfish has gone through seven seasons with hosts Nev Schulman and Max Joseph.
