Coaches Poll Top 25: College Football Rankings Released for Week 3

The 2019 college football season rolls on after another busy weekend, so it is now time for the updated rankings. Ahead of Week 3, the latest Amway Coaches Poll has been released with the defending national champion Clemson Tigers hanging on to the top spot. Clemson received 60 of a potential 63 first-place votes, with second-ranked Alabama receiving the remaining first-place votes.

Rounding out the top five are the Georgia Bulldogs, Oklahoma Sooners, and LSU Tigers, who jumped into the top five after scoring a big win over the Texas Longhorns. Texas, meanwhile, fell four spots to No. 13.

Three teams fell out of the top 25, with No. 22 Syracuse, No. 23 Stanford, and No. 25 Nebraska being bumped from the rankings.
