A St. Louis bar patron has nerves of steel, as evidenced by surveillance video that recently surfaced online. The man, identified as Tony Tovar, was enjoying a beer at Behrmann’s Tavern when an armed robber entered the building looking for phones and cash.
The robber got everyone on the floor, except for Tovar, who remained on his barstool enjoying his adult beverage.
At one point, the robber pointed a rifle directly at Tovar, but Tovar casually showed that he had no f*cks to give and lit up a cigarette while refusing to hand over his belongings. Everyone else in the bar appeared to comply, but Tovar was ice cold under pressure and never flinched.
Afterward, Tovar showed that same calm demeanor and showed that he truly was never bothered.
“I said not another punk trying to pull a punk move,” Tovar said, via NBC News. “I’m so tired of people in South City thinking they can control people because they wanna muscle their way in with firearms or attitudes or some sort of aggression.
“I wasn’t really concerned. I just had a really good feeling he wasn’t out to harm anybody, he just wanted drug money.”
