As the 2019 college football season officially kicks into full swing, its time for ESPN College GameDay to come back into our lives. After a stop in Orlando, Florida a weekend ago, College GameDay is set to hit the road to set up shop on Saturday, August 31 at Sundance Square in Fort Worth, Texas.
ESPN is on the scene for a high-profile top 25 matchup between the No. 11 Oregon Ducks and No. 16 Auburn Tigers.
Oregon and Auburn are facing off in the Advocare Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Kickoff between the two teams is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
As is always the case, the ESPN College GameDay crew — Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, David Pollack and Maria Taylor — will be joined by a celebrity guest picker. On Friday, August 30, it was announced that none other than Auburn football legend Bo Jackson will be joining the set.
Jackson announced the news on social media.
During his time at Auburn, Jackson won the 1985 Heisman Trophy and was a two-time All-American. Jackson went on to become the No. 1 overall pick in the 1986 NFL Draft before going on to star in the NFL and MLB as a running back for the Oakland Raiders and an All-Star outfielder for the Kansas City Royals.
